It was a good trip, the Arizona Memorial was awe-inspiring, the USS Missouri tour informed me of things I didn't. Also since it was the anniversary of the signing of the Peace Treaty, they were sprucing it up. A little disappointed couldn't get out in Punchbowl or downtown, but time constraints may have played a part in that.
Overall it was excellent, our tour guide was well informed and easy to understand.

It's a place with a very nice atmosphere. There are fewer Japanese people here. I was wondering what to do since there seemed to be quite a bit of time before the show, but before I knew it, time flew by as I took a walk, took photos, had some drinks, and got a lei made. I received drink tickets, but I couldn't use them all. The cocktails are generously poured, which is great for those who enjoy a drink. It seems that non-alcoholic drinks were free. During the show, you can eat, dance, chat, and take photos freely, so I think it's fun for families. Of course, couples will be even happier. Women might want to dress up a bit. You'll receive the photos taken, so it makes for great memories. Unfortunately, I couldn't fully understand the jokes made by the guide in English on the shuttle bus. However, you can still enjoy yourself even if you don't speak English at all. The staff can speak a little Japanese, so there’s no trouble communicating. They are very considerate. On this day, I was able to take wonderful sunset photos. Silhouettes of people against the backdrop of a red sky and palm trees. It's a show that makes you think Hawaii is wonderful.

Smith's Luau was a wonderful experience for us. I brought my daughter and 3 grandsons ages 9, 10, and 12, and we all enjoyed it. The grounds are perfect, the staff is very professional, and the show was excellent. The food was great, it was the best pig I have ever eaten. When I go back to Kauai, I will definately go back for another of the Smiths' Family Luau. Thanks for having us and sharing your beautiful grounds with us.

I liked the Arizona tour, but I thought that the park dept could do more to explain the details of the Memorial to us younger folks who do not know about the detailed History of what happened and why it happened, other than the movie. Kids today do not like reading. IE: when we went to Kileau, we had a Park ranger, Jason Zimmer, explain to us in detail what was there, very informative. Also we would have liked to see Diamond Head, they say if time allows, but we wasted to much time driving around Waikiki.

i thought the luau was good, i had a pretty good time with my girlfriend. i paid more for the royal package but the only difference with the standard one is that it included a few more drinks, but since the cocktails are very small, i dont think paying the extra money is worth it. the food could be better, although the location makes up for it; the sunset doesnt get any better than that.

The content of the luau show was all in English, and there were parts I understood and parts I didn't, but the atmosphere was fantastic and I had a great time.
The ratio of Japanese people was low. We sat at a long table, and the food was served buffet-style. The staff seemed to be considerate and seated us next to a Japanese couple. They mentioned that they had been to Hawaii many times, and thanks to them, we received helpful tips about convenient places near our accommodation.
Before entering the venue, they took our pictures, and during the meal, they asked, "How about purchasing?"
Regarding the photos, I had been searching for them for a while and felt that the reviews weren't very good, but when I saw the actual photos, they were beautifully taken, so I decided to purchase one as a keepsake.
The other guests, upon realizing we were on our honeymoon, were very friendly, and we were able to chat a little in English, which was enjoyable.
The dancing was powerful and interesting, and the food was delicious!
I think if you have language skills, you could enjoy it even more!

My wife and I were just on vacation in Hawaii and decided to take this dinner cruise. We opt for the limo transportation (not worth it, its only a 10 minute ride without traffic) and realized that the docks were not far from the wakiki hotel area. Anyway, they take you onto the boat and direct you to the appropriate floor according to the package you select. We selected the 5 star which was relaxing and not a party environment like downstairs(4 star). You listen to jazz and singing. It's very romantic and the views are out of this world. The 7 course dinner is ok, small protions but you do get kinda full. Couples plan is recommended. They brought our champagne very late which was disappointing but they gave us a free picture and the bottle to make up for it. They give you drink coupons anyway so it's no big deal. Our cruise was almost ruined because of the disrespectful crowd right next to us. One person in particular was laughing very loud you couldn't even hear the perform

Oh my goodness! What a way to start off your Hawaiian vacation. My wife and I attended this luau out of the many choices because it came highly recommended. As soon as you enter, they will take a pic which is free with the royal package. Then you can walk around and take part in the many games. You can also make your own lei hat and other things. It's so cool. When the activity starts, you learn a lot about hawaii tradition at several different demonstrations. Then you go to the ceremonial unconvering of the pig (try not to sit directly in the sun like we did). After that, you are seated to prepare for the show. We chose the royal box deluxe package and received all kind of goodies as well as dinner service. This package is recommended because you can see the show very well and you get served so you don't have to get up. If you want seconds, they will bring it to you. I felt like a king. THe show itself is amazing and a great experience. Oh and they will ask for volunteers

WOrds cannot explain this activity. My wife and I took a vacation to Hawaii as our yearly get away, no special occasion. I served in the military so this was a must for me to go experience. It was recommended for us to arrive early at pearl harbor. It's true that there is a massive line but I recommend that you go a little later than 6am because the line moves pretty quick. Let me explain the process because I did not see anyone mention it. The memorial opens at 7am and people enter inside the welcome center and get a card with a # on it, which puts you in a group. I estimate the group to be about 50 people. After that time, you just roam around the welcome center until your group # is called. Then you stand in line to go into a theater where you will see ACTUAL footage from the war and it's very touching and heart stopping. After that, you go outside to the water taxi (boat) which takes you out to the actual memorial. you can just feel the mood there. Some people can be disr
