The Horizon Show after dinner was truly spectacular, just as the rumors suggested! We were so moved that we found ourselves cheering and making sounds like Polynesians. With so many activities included, I think it’s a great value. Both my mother and daughter were very satisfied.

Since it was my first time in Hawaii, I thought I had to experience it, so I signed up for the Twilight Tour from Japan. I was looking forward to it, but on the day of the tour, my family member who was accompanying me fell ill and had to go to the hospital, so I had to cancel at the last minute.
However, although I was prepared for a cancellation, I was able to change the date instead, and later on, I was able to see the show without any issues.
The show was completely engaging and the 90 minutes flew by. It was so much fun! Since it was a deluxe experience, my seat was in the second row near the center, which provided a great view and a lot of excitement. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Hawaii for the first time.
Thank you very much for accommodating the date change. It became a wonderful memory of Hawaii.

ショーは全く眠くもならず、あっという間の90分でした。楽しかった～。デラックスだったので席もセンター近くの前から2列目で、迫力もあり、とても見やすかったです。初めてハワイに行く人にはおすすめ。

We are repeat visitors to Navatek. The entertainment is far superior to any other dinner cruise ship. These people really can sing and play their instruments very well. The singers are awesome. They don't just do a typical luau type show, they also sing a wide variety of music for listening or dancing. I told one of the singers that she is every bit as good or better than any of those American Idol people! We had a great time! The dancers are beautiful. The crew was very friendly and down to earth.
I've been on all the other dinner cruise ships as I am a repeat visitor to Hawaii. We don't have an ocean where I live, so I always want to experience it when I'm there. All the other cruise ships(Alii Kai, Star of Honolulu and Starlet)were horrible. Nothing can beat the smooth ride on Navatek and the unobstructed views of the sunset that Navatek offers. We had a fabulous time here at the Luau! The food was really good, especially in comparison the luau at the Polynesian Center on Oahu. However, the show wasn't as good as the Poly center. You can also walk the grounds before the luau and then see them dig up the pig for dinner. The grounds were gorgeous. We even got to see a runaway pig! He somehow snuck out of the pen and they hadn't been able to catch him. The Flora all around the gardens were just magnificent! Definitely a must see!
We decided to try the ambassador package which included premium seats to the luau and the all day tour with a guide. I am so glad we decided on this. The food at the luau was ok, but the show was incredible! The tour around the grounds was fantastic too, because our tour guide, Cousin Bianca, knew exactly when all the shows were starting and when we would need to get there in order to get decent seats! We even got this incredble dessert to go along with it and they were so good! Some sort of fruity type of ice cream. YUM! I highly recommend this!
It was our first trip to Hawaii so thought it was a great idea to get a Lei Greeting at the airport. Our flight was a little delayed, but they were right there waiting for us. The lei's were beautiful and smelled fantastic! I was glad we got them!
It was really great. On the opposite side of the orange sun setting, I could see the pure white full moon rising. On the yacht, it felt like a party with unlimited drinks and lively music as the background. It wasn't the romantic experience I had imagined; instead, it was a more aggressive atmosphere where we drank, made noise, and shouted towards the sunset. It was a fun sailing experience.

I had ordered a lei to be given to my sister on our trip to Hawaii. She had made it possible for me to go and I wanted her to feel special when we arrived. A beautiful girl was waiting at the airport with a beautiful lei for my sister and she even had an extra one that she gave to me. First I would recommend paying the extra $5 to go into the Gardens early. You will want to spend more time looking around than the time after the tram ride permits since it is so beautiful. The welcome was great and the tram ride was a treat and the setting for the dancing was gorgeous. I've never been to a luau before so I don't know how it compares to others, but we thouroughly enjoyed it. The dinner portion felt like a wedding reception and it was fun to have an opportunity to learn the hula.

We really enjoyed the Maui Prince Luau. This was one of the highlights of our trip. The buffet was excellent, and offered lots of choices, including a nice selection of desserts. The entertainment was exceptional. From the host, to the dancers, to the band, it was all very good, and we'd definitely recomment it to others. We paid extra for premium seating, and it was definitley worth the extra money to be up front.
This is the best luau i have ever been! Not only is it very affordable but the host is very informative on the cultures of the hawaiians and the other polynesian tribes. My best friend and I had soo much fun in this luau and plus we are amazed at the fire show that they put on. We were very overwhelmingly satisfied w/ the amount of food that they serve (about 20 diff kinds of hawaiian dishes)not to mention the 2 hours open bar! I had too much mai tais w/in two hours! This is a great luau to go to for first timers or as regulars.
It was my mother's, dad's and aunt's first time to Hawaii, so I orderd Lei's for all of us (7 all together). Everyone was so surprised and pleased and I saw a tear in their eyes..! Their reactions and smiles were so worth the price. If it is your first time to Hawaiii, a Lei is a most!!! Our flight was 2 hours late, but the greeter was there when we were!!!!

This was my first trip to Hawaii. Since my elderly parents were accompanying me, we focused on sightseeing. This time, we signed up for the Deluxe Course at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Was an excellent sail watching the lights of Honolulu and the fireworks - it's beautiful and I recommend it to any couple.
Only bad points were that they could provide a little more food for everyone and they missed us for pickup even though we were waiting at the designated spot well before the specified time but with many other tours departing that spot it can get hard to find people I guess.

it was everything i expected and more. the show was awsome, the villiages were great. the food was marvalous. get there early for the brunch. its great too. the staff were very knowledgeable and very friendly. they are all natives. our guide was from the netherlands and he was friendly and would go all out for you. deffinatly take the super ambasitor tour. you experience so much more and up close and personal...

This is a must see for anyone visiting the island of Oahu! The Luau is a feast and the Horizons show is a spectacular way to end the evening. I would suggest that those planning their itinerary, schedule this event on their last night in Hawaii, so as to end with a bang.
Also, those traveling with children will find the tour of the different villages to be extremely educational.
Remember to bring extra cash for browsing the gift shops, tipping your servers, and just in case you want to purchase that DVD recording of the Horizons show to give the folks back home a taste of the whole fantastic experience!
We participated as three couples, including my eldest daughter and her husband, to celebrate my wife's retirement and my youngest daughter's marriage. Since it was our first time, we chose the most luxurious course, and the guide Yuki, who is from Okinawa, was wonderful, as were the performances from each village (island). Occasionally having a dinner without alcohol was quite nice as well.
The highlight was the Horizons show. Everyone was moved by it. Since returning home, we have been enjoying the DVD and CD we received as gifts. Next time we participate, I might challenge myself to try the workshop course.

帰国してからも、プレゼントされたＤＶＤyaＣＤを愉しんでいます。

I can not say one bad thing about Smith's Luau. Everything they did was above average. The tour of their tropical paradise was wonderful. The imu was authentic and they do a wonderful job of making it special. The food was amazing, especially the pork, mahi mahi, and the rice pudding. The entertainment during the meal was fantastic and really got the crowd involved. Last the show was probably the best part. It was an amazing experience and probably one of our favorite experiences while we were on Kauai and definitely the best value.
Guides are excellent. There is something going on all the time. Too much to see in 1 day. We'll definitely go back. The Luau was fantastic and the Horizons show was outstanding!
