These people are great. Very efficient, accommodating and courteous. I called them to pick me up from the Honolulu airport and the last minute to pick me up from Waikiki and drop me off to the Honolulu airport.

The company was well informed about our location, showed up a few minutes early with a brand new vehicle and did a very professional job. I don't know how Kona got along without them. We would recommend this service for wheelchair transportation without hesitation.

We're not sure what is the typical greeting but going to Hawaii for the first time for us meant a definite lei greeting. It was simple. There was a guy waiting with a sign. No pictures or fancy process, but we did ask him to take a photo after the fact. Glad we did it.

The Kona Airport Speedi Shuttle came right to my door, right on time, with courteous help with my luggage. The price was good and I'd recommend them. One other company would only pick me up if I went out and stood on the street, hauling my luggage out there. At a condo complex that was right by a hotel pick up point that was not acceptable to me. I'll use Kona Airport Speedi Shuttle every time I come in and out of town now! Thank you.

Our Greeter was so friendly... ordered these welcome lei's as a surprise for my friend who I was traveling with.. She is allergic to flowers, I was able to do a traditional kukui nut lei with a shell upgrade, these were beautiful and fragrant free, perfect for my friend and we could still enjoy a welcome lei... Our greeter was so nice, took our picture, guided us down to baggage claim and helped us find our rental car shuttle.

Do the orchids!!! My husband was surprised and they lasted a long time. Keep them in the fridge. Yes there are orchids in the airport to buy but it is not the same as getting the Hawaiian greeting. Definitely for 1st timers. Kids would love this!

Late did not meet and greet so had to drag luggage and try to locate car. Ended up tearing fingernail away from nail bed and bleeding with pain and still have finger bandaged because of injury. This was special treat for my sister as it was her first trip to Hawaii and I wanted it to be a great memory. Don't know reason late but driver was very nice once we found him.

The service was excellent! I was met right at baggage terminal and the van was very close. My driver was very friendly and knowledgeable, in fact I requested him for the return ride later. Also I found the price to be very reasonable. I highly recommend this service.

We were amazed at the greeting and service at KOA upon arriving for a month holiday. Out of the whole plane we were the first ones out of the airport, that's how fast it was. It is comforting to know that this is available and no one should worry about being picked up and delivered right to your front door and the price was right also. We will use it again I promise. Being greeted at the airport by a delightful Hawaiian with the traditional orchid lay she had made was a perfect start to a much anticipated trip. Our greeter was so friendly and informative. I would recommend this to anyone making a Hawaiian vacation for the first time. We wear our leis to dinner each night and still get comments

My experience March 8 was fine (aside from the driver running a red light and snorting profusely for the duration of the ride; he said at the end of the ride it was due to allergies).
Unfortunately my two children arriving at separate times the following weekend (Mar 13 and 14) was not.
On Mar 13 late arrival my daughter waited for the shuttle, then was informed she would be taking a taxi instead. It took the taxi driver 90 minutes to get her from the airport to Honua Kai because the driver did not know the address (full address provided for the resort as well as its name).
The next night my son and his partner were also rerouted by taxi after waiting a half hour on the shuttle. At least this time the taxi knew the resort but then informed his passengers that tip was not included and asked for $20. As this was our first time to Maui we did not know how to direct taxi drivers, nor that we were expect to pay additional charges after paying for the shuttle when it was booked. (We tip the drivers according to bags, but not for the trip for shuttle service)
In all, two out of three experiences not so good.

Big Island Lei Greeting Service at Kona Airport - Hawaiian Floral Necklace

A Great Welcome to Hawaii

My wife and I decided to take our children, their spouses and all the grandchildren on a family vacation to Hawaii. I remembered the nice welcome we had on our first vacation to Hawaii shortly after we were married, and I thought it would be nice to give the whole family a similar experience. Once I found someone to direct me to a possible website, the process was straight forward and easy. What I was looking for was being offered at a discount, and the price seemed right. The instructions were easy to follow, but without mentioning anything to the family, our grandchildren happened to find people holding up our sign first. The hostesses were ready for us with 10 aloha welcomes and beautiful orchid leis (of which 3 were upgraded further, for the mothers). The kids were all pleased and our youngest wore here lei as part of a hairpiece a few days later and it was still looking good. Maybe this isn't needed on each trip to Hawaii, but I'm sure glad I arranged this as a first-time welcome for the grandchildren and their parents. Thanks again for making everything special for our family.
