I use Roberts Hawaii every time, both for arrival and departure. Since it's a shuttle service, as long as the timing is precise, I can easily and comfortably arrive at the airport or hotel without any hassle. I have never had any issues with the hotel to airport transfer.

I use this service every time between the airport and the hotel. This time, I waited for the bus at the airport for about 30 minutes for the first time. Also, it took an hour to reach the hotel due to the hotel drop-offs (since I was the last one). As someone who knows the roads in Honolulu to some extent, I have some doubts about the route taken to drop off at the hotels (like passing the same roads multiple times and going past hotels where people were getting off). However, since I'm just riding and not in a hurry, the convenience is a plus. I wonder if the driver was inexperienced?

This is an excellent idea and I'd highly recommend the lei greeting! As promised, the representative was waiting just outside our gate with our leis. The hospitality didn't end there as our rep walked with us to baggage claim, secured a porter for us and then found our hotel transfer van for us. She waited with us until we were on the van to our hotel. She would not accept a tip saying it was her pleasure to help. The leis come with a gift bag containing chocolates and care instructions for the leis. We kept ours in our hotel refrigerator and after 12 days we were able to take them home to show others....they still were beautiful and fragrant!

The perfect "Aloha"

The last thing we wanted to do at the beginning of our vacation was arrive in an unfamiliar airport, drag our luggage to wherever the car rental station was, sign a bunch of papers for a car rental, find the car, find the exit, and then find our way across the Island to our hotel. Sounds awful! So instead we were greeted with a friendly Aloha greeting, our bags were fetched from the baggage carousel, loaded into the very comfortable Roberts Hawaii van, and we were whisked across the Island to our hotel quickly and comfortably. It was so easy that we had the friendly Roberts driver pick us up again and return us to the airport. Our driver was at our hotel early, entertained us with stories of Island life on the way, and helped us find our way around the airport as well. Stress free and friendly, the only way to fly!

Excellent service! Would highly recommend it! There was someone waiting for me with a sign as soon as I exited and she escorted me directly to the baggage claim, wheeled my baggage away quickly, introduced me to the driver and left. The driver was efficient and friendly, offering lots of information about the island and took me directly to my hotel. I couldn't have asked for better service.

This was so convenient. I reserved transfers before leaving home, they were waiting for us after departing plane, took us to baggage claim for luggage and got us to hotel. Time to leave for airport, they were at the hotel for pickup and easily got us to airport. Will definitely use again and highly recommend this service.

Hotel to Airport:

Got a confirmation email, called to check again the time and location on the day prior to pick up to the airport.
Nevertheless there was a 30 min. delay because the driver "forgot" to pick me up. Had to call 3 times to get things straight. Was on hold first time and got hung upon, second time also got hung upon while on hold. For the third time I got reconfirmed that the driver will promptly pick me up in a few min. which he actually did so I added a star.

Airport to Hotel:
Now this was a nice experience.
Flight got delayed but I think they check flight schedule on a real time basis.
Welcomed on arrival with a shell lei around the neck, there is a desk when you exit the baggage claim area, so it is really hard to miss. Nice van with cool air conditioning right to your door. Highly recommended!

All in all, don't rely too much on the hotel pickup time and arrange it early so that you have some extra time and don't miss the flight even if things get messed up.

At the airport gate on Hawaii's Big Island, my husband and I were both greeted with a shell lei and escorted to the shuttle bus. The driver provided current as well as historical information about the area during our trip to the resort. For our return trip home, the driver was on time and then upon arrival at the airport, we were personally escorted around the numerous security lines to the correct one for us. Roberts’ service was both professional and personable. We highly recommend them and look forward to using their services again in the future.
