We were met at baggage claim and whisked to our vehicle waiting at the second island not too far away. We were in the vehicle and on our way in less than five minutes. Definitely a great hassle free experience

After finishing my errands in Maui, I returned to Honolulu for a day trip and was quite tired. However, there was already a bus waiting outside the baggage claim (by chance!?) so I was able to get on right away and return to my hotel, which was a great help. Unlike international flights, it seems there are fewer people boarding, so I think it's a good idea to use this option instead of waiting for a taxi.

The guidance from the airport was unclear, and I couldn't find the staff. I was at the baggage claim properly, but I ended up being left behind. When I communicated this to a staff member who spoke Japanese, I received a response that suggested it was my fault for not being able to find the pick-up staff.

They did manage to arrange a different bus for me, but it was very unpleasant.

On the way to the airport, I also arrived nearly 20 minutes late compared to the scheduled time, which was quite nerve-wracking.

It was wonderful to be greeted at Honolulu Airport with leis after a 9 1/2 hour overnight flight from Australia. The warm smiles of the young ladies who presented us with our leis made us feel truly welcome. We appreciated their patience as although our flight arrived on time there were significant delays passing through airport security / customs. The wives loved the fresh orchid leis which where quite beautiful. It was the perfect start to our holiday in Hawaii.

The next best thing to have your sweetheart meeting you at the Kona airport is to arrange Veltra to do the job. They use the services of Roberts Hawaii, a well respected transportation company on the island. A charming young lady waits for you with a placard showing your name in big bold letters (no need to dig for your glasses), walks you to the baggage carrousel, helps you with your bags and leads you to the van, where a cheerful driver whisks you away directly to your destination (in my case: Keauhou). Pleasant conversation, safe driving, and at your condo diestination, the driver helps drop the bags inside your door. That team earned the good tip they got! If no family member is able to get me at the airport, I would use no one else but Veltra.

Just as I have used Platinum to take me from the airport to my hotel, I also have used them for years to return me to the airport following my stay in Paradise. And, as always, their car is always on time with an extremely professional driver and newer clean car. You cannot ask for anything more! Your ride to the airport is hassle free without having to make many stops to pick up other passengers at various hotels around Waikiki in a van or bus. It's a great service that I will continue to use each time I visit the Islands.

Since we were moving from the Big Island, we arrived at the domestic terminal. There were staff members directing us to the baggage pickup area, so it was easy to find.

I have been using Platinum Limousine Service for many years. It is so very nice to have a clean car and courteous driver waiting for you to take you to your hotel after a very long day of flying.
