My fight departure was 11:50pm, so I requested to be picked up at 9:45pm. However, upon confirmation I was notified the pickup time would be 7:45pm (take or leave it with no refund.) The ride took about 30 minutes, so I was at the airport around 8:15pm and had to wait more than 3 hours before boarding. So no complains about the ride itself, but it would be nice if my requested pickup time would have been respected.

Due to the long wait at immigration, I finally met the staff from Roberts Taxi and felt relieved. I apologized for the delay, but the staff member responded with a sulky attitude, saying, "You made us wait quite a bit!" followed by the rough way they draped the lanyard around my neck, which felt very empty. It was the start of my trip, and my spirits were dampened. Additionally, the driver, possibly rushed for time, drove dangerously fast. I was disappointed, especially since I had high expectations based on the overall positive reviews. I hope improvements are made by the time I use the service again.

I stayed at the Moana Surfrider, and the bus arrived at 8:10 for an 8:35 pickup. The female driver called my name before I even had to show my voucher, which was a relief. I only had to share the ride with a family from abroad, and we went straight to the airport without wandering around to pick up other hotels. We arrived a bit too early, but there was no lengthy explanation during the tour, and I was able to line up for check-in right away. I've visited Honolulu many times, and this was a very comfortable start to my journey home. I would like to use this service again.

This is a MAHALO (Thank You) to VELTRA who made a reservation change of a departure point. Mahalo also to a previous Speedi Shuttle driver who gave me information when I was on a previous departure. The reservation approval only took a few hours after I requested it but it enabled me to relax and enjoy the few days of my stay knowing there would be a reliable departure pick up by Speedi. The driver was on time. I am being very spoiled by Speedi.

Visitors and I were greated by driver Brandon. He was friendly and personable and gave visitors bits of island information and pointed out shopping areas and multi cultural restaurants along the route. Since my stop was the last, he and I (local Oahu but frequent visitor) talked about the Big Island local restaurants. Friendly drivers are assets to any company.
