I thought the students at the Polynesian Cultural Center were truly dedicated and wonderful. The show was also impressive.

They didn't come close, so it didn't seem dangerous. However, it was a bit challenging to see them while battling the rough waves. But that was thrilling and fun! I had to wait for others to have their turn, so the time on the boat was long, which made me a bit seasick. But I’m glad I did it! ♪

Our main event this time was horseback riding. Last time we did it at Kualoa, but here the duration was longer, and the horses were smart, which made it a安心 experience. It was disappointing not to see any turtles, but we were able to have lunch at a restaurant we researched in Haleiwa, and we also had time for shopping. Haleiwa drops you off at your requested location, so I think it's good to do some research beforehand. It's only an hour, so if you haven't checked, it goes by in a flash. Horseback riding truly became the main event this time, and it was fantastic!

This was my first time using the service. Until now, the pickups to the hotel had been quite early, so I was ready 10 minutes in advance this time as well. However! Even 5 minutes before the scheduled time, no one had arrived; at the exact time, still no one… even 5 minutes late, no one showed up… I started to feel anxious. The voucher mentioned to call if there was a 15-minute delay, but I called at the 5-minute mark! The airport was really crowded, so I wanted to arrive quickly! Then, 10 minutes later, an empty van finally arrived. It was late!!! Those 5 or 10 minutes felt incredibly long. The Asian driver didn’t offer any apology or explanation, so it was unclear whether it was a delay or a mix-up. There was only one other group that boarded from a hotel closer to the airport, so we arrived at the airport sooner than expected. However, if there had been issues with picking up passengers at the maximum of five hotels, I don’t know what would have happened… The journey from the airport to the hotel didn’t go smoothly either, so I’m not considering a repeat. It’s more reassuring to go with a major company. I learned a lot from this experience.

今回も10分前にスタンバイしておりました。
しかし！5分前になっても来ない、ジャストになっても来ない…5分遅れても来ない…

空港も激込みなんだから、早く着きたい！
それから10分後に、空のバンが来ました。遅い！！！
こんな時の５分１０分てとてつもなく長く感じますね～
アジア系のドライバーさんからは詫びや説明が無かったので、遅延なのか、誤手配かは不明です。
あと1組、空港寄りのホテルから乗り込んできただけだったので、空港へは思ったより早く着きましたが、
最大の５軒のホテルをまわって、乗る客がいたりいなかったり、など悶着があれば
どうなっていたかわかりません。。。
空港からホテルまでも すんなり行かなかったので、
もうリピートは考えておりません、大手さんの方が安心ですな　(*‘∀‘)
経験して、よい勉強になりました。

They picked me up at the hotel at 1:30 PM. There were three guests ahead of me, and they went to pick up others, totaling 11 for the tour. Actually, I had gone there 12 years ago with a rental car, but now you need a four-wheel drive, and bringing winter gear is a hassle, so I decided to use their service. I completed the card payment procedure with a reservation from Japan.

The dinner bento (Japanese food) and the salty miso soup were good, and the cocoa was delicious. Mr. Konno's service was great. Unfortunately, the clouds were thick, and the sunset wasn't as spectacular as I had hoped. However, the stargazing afterward was amazing. The explanation of the constellations using a laser pointer was particularly good, and he had a wealth of knowledge about the constellations.

There's a boom in constellation photography with DSLR cameras in Japan, so anyone interested should definitely go. However, a tripod is necessary, so it would be great if Masashi could prepare one for a fee.

In any case, it was worth $170.

そのあとの星空観察は最高だった。特にレ－ザポインタ－使用しての星座の説明は大変良かった。又とても星座の知識豊富。
日本でも一眼レフカメラの間では星座ブ－ムだから興味ある人は是非。
但し三脚必要なのでマサシさんの方で有料でもいいから準備してくれたらいいのだが。
とにかく＄１７０の価値あり。

Finally, as my time in Honolulu was coming to an end and I was just about to head back, I realized I had forgotten to book my shuttle service. The shuttle bus here was quite frequent and was very accommodating even for such a sudden request. Additionally, when the driver was loading our luggage onto the bus, he mentioned that if I lifted it, we wouldn't have to worry about the weight limit at the airport. This made us chuckle, as we were quite concerned about our luggage weight. I would definitely like to use this service again on my next trip.

The morning was really great. We were able to visit places that are only accessible by car. Above all, the guide was entertaining.

I think it wasn't necessary to go to the Polynesian Cultural Center in the afternoon. I especially think it's better not to take the shuttle bus that departs from the cultural center. Until then, it was fun. I couldn't enjoy the evening show because of that shuttle bus. I think the show itself was good.

I'm not sure what was "deluxe" about this tour. We were picked up and taken on a "tour" of Honolulu first. This amounted to circling a couple of blocks where the King's palace and statue are. Then we went on to Pearl Harbor where we were informed that we would be switching to a different bus for our return to our resort! The 1st driver was difficult to understand when he was telling us what we were seeing. The 2nd driver was much better, although he seemed to talk about things as he saw them and would move onto something else before the rest of the bus caught up to what he had been talking about! I think there are cheaper options for a tour like this which accomplish the exact same thing!

I participated with my parents in their 70s. Since it was at a high altitude, I was worried, but thanks to the guide's consideration, we were able to participate without any issues. The sunset and the starry sky were truly moving. We could see the Halemaʻumaʻu Crater, and the guides took many photos for us. Every time we look at the photos after returning home, the emotions come flooding back. My parents seem to have gained confidence from going to a place higher than Mount Fuji, and they are saying they want to go again.

Thank you very much for your help the other day; my family of four had a great time. Before participating in the tour, I thought we would just go to the North and ride horses, but thanks to Hiro's detailed explanations of sightseeing points, time management, and highlights, we learned many things we didn't know before. It turned out to be a very satisfying tour for all four of us. I definitely want to join other tours with Hiro's transportation and guidance as well.

I have been living in Hawaii for about six months for work. I used this for a solo trip on my day off! I was able to choose options for breakfast and transportation to the location. I applied for the cheapest tour without any extras. I took The Bus to the location and was able to find the boat right away without any issues. I recommend The Bus for those with some time to spare! I only saw the whales for a brief moment, but since it's nature... there's nothing you can do about it. After a considerable delay getting cruise ship clearance from US customs and all passengers being able to leave ship to connect with relevant Shore tours - finally able to catch up with Gus our tour driver. VELTRA and Gus so understanding re the delays and adjusted our Tour accordingly to maximise our time on island. Really appreciated. In the end we had a great day and got to see most of Road to Hanna. Got to appreciate true beauty of the countryside with good and relevant commentary and time spent at relevant places of interest. Banana bread was good too!!
