It was a cruise where you could enjoy a meal and a show. After boarding and taking your seat, a welcome drink was served shortly after. We set sail at sunset and anchored off Waikiki Beach. We enjoyed our meal with the sparkling Waikiki Beach in front of us. The boat turned around during the cruise, allowing everyone to enjoy the night view of Waikiki from any seat. After dinner, we were entertained by a live music performance and hula dance show, making the two hours fly by. The shuttle service was very convenient, but on the way back, there were many similar shuttle buses parked, making it difficult to find the one we needed after disembarking.

I participated in a sunrise tour at the summit of Haleakalā on my first visit to Maui. I was a bit confused about the need for reconfirmation, so I called the tour company the day before, but I still didn't quite understand it. On the day of the tour, the bus arrived almost on time. Everyone except me was a foreigner. We were assigned seats, and they provided a Japanese brochure and a Japanese audio guide (upon request). We drove in the dark and quickly arrived at the summit of Haleakalā. While waiting for the sunrise, the wind was strong and it was really cold. I thought I had dressed warmly enough for the tour, but it was still chilly. I participated in this tour because I wanted to go to Hana on Maui for the first time. I was alone, and there was also a couple from Canada, making a total of three people plus the driver. The car was comfortable with good seats, but the air conditioning was quite effective, making it a bit cold. If you're sensitive to the cold, it's better to take some warm clothing. During the trip, we had time to take photos from the car at various points, and the explanations were given in detail. Unfortunately, I couldn't understand much since I don't speak English. Although the time spent in the car was long, I think participating in the tour was a good choice since it's a place I wouldn't be able to visit easily on my own.

I thought it would be fine since the ship was large, but it was swaying even while docked, and I felt a bit nauseous. The buffet was a battle against the swaying, and I didn't feel like waiting in line a second or third time. The food was average. It was windy, and I was wearing a light cardigan, but it was still cold. I asked, but there were no blankets available. The staff's response was very good.

The food was delicious, though I wouldn't say it was impressive. I felt it was a bit inferior compared to what you would get at a hotel for the same price.
The view is amazing! The sunset is very beautiful, and we were lucky enough to see whales jumping!
However, when I made the reservation, I mentioned it was for our honeymoon, and because of that, we were constantly greeted with "Congratulations, honeymooners! Let's dance together!" and we were seated right at the front.
While I appreciate it, my husband is not comfortable with that kind of attention in public, so I felt not everyone would be happy to be called out like that.
It's a personal issue for us, though.
Other couples were all having a great time dancing! I felt it’s important to understand each other's preferences when traveling together.

I wasn't expecting much from the food since I had read the reviews, but it turned out to be tastier than I imagined!
I was worried that there wouldn't be fireworks because of the rain, but I was glad to see them beautifully.
In the end, everyone danced, and it was a lot of fun.

As a commemoration of our honeymoon, we participated in the Star of Honolulu dinner cruise! It was a 3-star experience, but we could freely go to the top deck of the ship, where we enjoyed the best sunset and the night view of Waikiki. Honestly, the dinner was average, but the dance show that started in the second half of the cruise was performed right in front of us and was very impressive. Additionally, I was happy that we could go to Tantalus Lookout after the cruise as an extra option!

I made a reservation for the all-you-can-eat crab plan. There were three courses: appetizers, steak & crab, and dessert. The crab shells were hard. I made the reservation for two with my wife, but there was only one tool to crack the shells, so we were taking turns. It would have been nice to have one for each of us. Also, the glass for the coffee at the end had a crack in it, and the coffee was spilling out a little bit.

The sunset and the Hilton fireworks were quite nice.

前菜とステーキ&カニとデザートの3皿でした。
カニの殻が硬かった。
妻と2人で予約しましたが、殻を割る道具が一つしかなくて、交互に割っていました。

The guide took fun videos at the filming location of Jurassic Park, which was amazing! The lunch buffet was also delicious! The jungle exploration tour can be quite bumpy, so if you're prone to motion sickness, it might be a good idea to take some precautions like motion sickness medication.

On the day of the event, it was cloudy, so we couldn't see the sunset. However, thanks to the hard work of the dancers and staff, we had a great time. Since we chose the cheapest "all-you-can-eat" course, a small number of dancers rotated in and out, and the wonderful song selection by the male vocalist and ukulele player was very soothing. I appreciate the fantastic show that involved the audience.

The route took us along the coastline of Oahu from west to east (and back), and while the scenery was quite nice, there was no announcement or guidance at all, just two hours of dancing and performances. Perhaps because we couldn't see the sunset, I felt that the main attraction wasn't the night view of Oahu.

Even though the weather didn't allow us to see the sunset, I hoped there could have been some effort to let us enjoy the night view a little more, not just the show. Regarding the food, the "all-you-can-eat" option we chose was the cheapest, so I might not be in a position to complain, but it was just ordinary side dishes plus roast beef, and frankly, I couldn't show any interest (the dessert served afterward was just okay).

Since my partner doesn't particularly like steak or lobster, we had no choice but to select the "all-you-can-eat" option, but I wish there could have been at least one more choice to increase our options. It was a wonderful two hours, but when it comes to repeating the experience, I felt like "that's enough."

In any case, I want to express my gratitude to the dancers and staff who involved the audience in what felt like a "big party."

当日は曇り空で「サンセット」を拝する事が出来ませんでした。
が、ダンサーの皆さん、スタッフの皆さんの一生懸命のパフォーマンスにより、楽しい時間を過ごす事が出来ました。
「食べ放題」の最安価のコースであった為、少人数のダンサーが入れ替わり立ち代わり、そして、ヴォーカルとウクレレの男性の素晴らしい選曲で、十分癒されました。観客を巻き込んだ素晴らしいショーに感謝です。
航路はオアフ島の海岸線を西から東（帰路はその逆）で、それなりに素敵な景色でしたが、アナウンスによる案内等は一切なく、ひたすらダンスとパフォーマンスの２時間でした。サンセットを拝する事が出来ない天候であったゆえかも知れませんが、やはりメインはオアフの夜景ではなかったのかと思います。
サンセットを拝する事が出来ない天候ではあっても、ショーだけではなく、少しは夜景を楽しませて頂ける工夫を頂けたらと思いました。
料理については、私たちが選択した「食べ放題」は最も安価で、文句を言う立場ではないかも知れませんが、普通の総菜＋ローストビーフと言う程度で、はっきり言って何の興味も示す事が出来ませんでした（その後に出されたデザートは、まあまあ）。
ステーキもロブスターもあまり好きではないわがパートナーにとっては、「食べ放題」を選択するしかありませんでしたが、もう一つ位は、選択肢を増やして頂ければなあと思いました。
素晴らしい２時間ではありましたが、リピートとなると「もういいなあ」
と言う感じでした。
いずれにしても観客巻き込みの、まるで「大宴会」のごとくのダンサー、スタッフの皆様に、感謝をさせて頂きます。

My husband and I booked the Deluxe Circle Island Tour with Kailani Tours online @hawaiiactivities.com a few weeks before we left for our 20th anniversary on the Big Island. We loved our driver/tour guide Alana from the beginning...she was so personable, caring and knowledgeable (a former teacher). The Mercedes van was very comfortable for the 7 people on our tour and we were well provided for with plenty of water and snacks (even with my gluten free limitations). The tour was fabulous, from the Kona Joe coffee farm, lunch/tour at Volcanoes Natl Park, amazing Punalu'u Black Sand Beach, all the way to Rainbow Falls (yes, we saw a rainbow there) and beautiful Akaka Falls! It was great to see the highlights of the island at the beginning of our vacation to get the "lei" of the land so to speak, on the Big Island. This way the remainder of our trip could be spent leisurely exploring the Kohala Coast where we were staying. We highly recommend it to everyone!

Since it was my first time on Maui, I wanted to join a tour and signed up. Just like many reviews said, it was truly the best tour! I was very moved by the sunset and starry sky seen from above the clouds. Our guide, Yamapi, was very kind, knowledgeable, and had an interesting way of talking, which made the journey enjoyable as well. This time, the weather at the summit was good, and I was very lucky to see a nene! I thought I might not have another chance to come to Maui, but this tour made me want to come back to see that scenery again no matter what! Thank you so much, Yamapi!

This was my first time participating after seeing it featured on TV. The pickup was smooth and on time. The bus's air conditioning was too strong, and even though I complained to the guide, it didn't help; everyone seemed to endure it. It had been raining all morning, which made me anxious during the journey, but once we arrived, the sun came out, and I felt relieved. The orientation was also easy to understand in Japanese.

All the participants on the E-bike were Japanese. The road was a bit muddy due to the rain, but we enjoyed cycling while taking in the scenery without speeding. The guide couldn't speak Japanese, but he was humorous and guided us carefully, taking photos for us, making it a fun hour.

Since we only participated in one activity, we had a three-hour wait until the return bus. I was wondering what to do when a staff member informed me that there was a public bus (THE BUS) stop nearby and suggested I take that, providing me with the timetable. I used that to get back.

Overall, it was a satisfying tour.

概ね満足なツアーでした。

I was guided to a seat on the third floor of the ship for the lobster and steak course. The rice was even better than I imagined.
It was fun to sing and dance together during the finale of the show!

The transportation and guidance were perfect, allowing us to spend time without stress. In the end, it unexpectedly turned into a chaotic dance party, with dozens of people coming together for a climax, which was quite amusing! It was a party experience unique to foreign countries, and I was able to enjoy a time that I could never experience in Japan.
