Four years ago, I went skydiving with this company in Hawaii. I couldn't forget the excitement from that time, so I decided to sign up again. Just like last time, the waiver included scary statements like "we are not responsible for accidents" and "general travel insurance does not cover this," but I understood well that it is a dangerous activity, yet a valuable experience, so I went ahead with the skydiving.

First, a video explanation is shown, detailing the methods and points to note. The instructors who jump with you also provide explanations. However, many of them seem to speak only very simple Japanese. (But since you watch the video, you will definitely understand.) There are many friendly and cheerful people.

You can have photos and videos taken, but since one cameraman jumps with you, the cost is nearly double. When you're on the plane, you can see the beautiful ocean and rise through the clouds, making the view inside the plane quite moving.

Then, under the instructor's guidance, you jump from the plane. Some people felt the wind pressure and said they couldn't breathe, but I was able to breathe normally. It felt less like falling and more like being a bird flying.

When the parachute opens, the drop speed suddenly decreases, which is surprising, but from there, you can enjoy the scenery slowly. The instructor made several turns so we could see various views. 飛行機に乗ってる時点できれいな海が見えたり、雲をつきぬけて上昇するので飛行機内での景色も感動モノです。
あとはインストラクターさんの指示のもと飛行機から飛びます。風圧を感じて「息ができなくなる」という人もいましたが、あたしはけっこうフツーに息してました。
落ちてるというより、鳥になって飛んでるような気分。
それからパラシュートが開くと急に落下速度が落ちるのでびっくりしますが、そこからはゆっくり景色を楽しむことができました。インストラクターさんはいろんな景色が見れるように何度も旋回してくれました。
５分少々で地上に降りてきます。が、地面がすぐ真下に見えても着地はけっこう衝撃があります。なので服装はＧパンや長ズボンの方がいいと思います。前回はフツーに立てましたが、今回は風が強かったせいもありコケてお尻で着地（笑）
でもとっても楽しくて、いい経験をさせていただいたなと思いました。

My first experience with skydiving. I boarded a Cessna and ascended into the vast sky. We went up so high that I wondered if we were still climbing. At 4,200 meters, we were significantly higher than Mount Fuji. Naturally, the clouds were far below us. After jumping, it felt like I did a flip. The wind pressure during the descent was incredible. It felt like the flesh of my cheeks was being pulled back towards my ears. It felt quite long until the parachute opened, but later, based on the video time, it was just a little over a minute. Once the parachute opened, it felt like we were going up. After that, I thought we would descend slowly, but… we made right turns and left turns, going over the ocean and back to the coastline. I got a bit motion sick. My younger son seemed to get quite sick. Perhaps because he felt a bit unwell, the time felt longer until we landed. After landing, my legs were a bit shaky. One of the things I want to do at least once in my life is skydiving, and I finally got the chance to try it this time!

This activity is influenced by the weather. The group after mine had to wait for a while, and I heard that the altitude was changed. I was lucky.

I watched a video and my partner, Colorado, helped me put on the harness and gave me a brief explanation in English and broken Japanese before we boarded the Cessna. Several teams got on and sat in low seats. Takeoff was quick! We were spinning and climbing higher and higher. I thought, "Wow, this is high!" and before I knew it, we were at 14,000 feet! The door opened, and we moved to the edge like ducks.

Dive!

Wait. All of a sudden?! I thought, "Aren't you going to ask if I'm ready?!" but there was no time for that. It was an adrenaline rush!

I gave hand signals to the cameraman, but I quickly ran out of ideas on what to do. Haha. Also, you often see comedians making funny faces, but that just happens naturally due to the wind pressure.

If you want to capture interesting images or videos, try opening your mouth and relaxing your face; you should be able to bring back some great souvenirs. I also think it's a good idea to come up with various hand signals in advance, even if they're not funny.

After the parachute opened, I enjoyed a thrilling flight before landing. Fun times always end too quickly.

Back at the cabin, I checked the images and videos. They are quite pricey, but it's for the memories.

As for tips, you'll receive an explanation on-site, but there are tip boxes for each instructor and cameraman, so just put your tips there.

パラシュート開いたあともスリリングなフライトを楽しませてもらいランディング。楽しい時間はすぐに終わってしまいます。
小屋に戻り画像、映像チェック。なかなかいい値段ですが思い出に。
あと、チップについては現地で説明を受けますが、各インストラクター、カメラマンのチップボックスがあるのでそちらに入れればオッケー。
送迎付きにしましたが行きに乗った人が全員終わるまで帰れないため少しグダることがあるかも。運転手のおじいさんは日本人だが実はなんかすごい人だとあとで知った。

The moment I jumped was scary, but before I knew it, I was flying, and then it was just a matter of falling. While I was falling, it was painful, and I wished it would end quickly, but when the parachute opened, a beautiful view came into sight. I was moved by the blue sky and the beautiful ocean unique to Hawaii. I think photos and videos don't have to be expensive, but the scenery was captured very beautifully.

The flight is incredibly smooth, and the pilot will take you to see over 30% of the island that you will not be able to see otherwise. They'll take you through the canyons and you'll see the major waterfalls. We flew into the old crater, and it was just amazing! The pilot was very informative and pleasant to listen to, as he gave some history of the island. He'll even turn the bird so both sides of the passengers, left and right, may take photos. It's a MUST and well worth the cost!

This was my first time ever taking a helicopter trip or tour of any kind. So I was a tad nervous in doing it. But I said to hell with it I am going to do it. And I am sooooo glad that I did. The pictures from high above Honolulu was so worth the money and time I spent being a part of this like once in a life time adventure! Julie my helicopter pilot with Blue Hawaiian was a great professional and very friendly and pointed out all the highlights of our 50 minute tour. Blue Hawaiian was the best and for an extra $25 dollars at the end of your tour you can purchase a DVD of your flight with camera's in and out the helicopter. I had a blast and look at my pictures daily from my helicopter tour. I totally recommend this company and tour for memories of a lifetime! Can't go wrong with Blue Hawaiian at all!!!

We went on a company trip to Hawaii, and to create unforgettable memories, seven of us from the company decided to challenge ourselves with skydiving. The moment we jumped out of the plane was MAX scary, but after about ten seconds of initial speed, once we entered free fall, I was able to relax and take in the breathtaking view of Hawaii.

I can't quite express how amazing it was, but everyone, "It's the best!" The fear lasts just a moment, but the joy lasts a lifetime! It's definitely worth the challenge. All seven of us felt the same way. If you're hesitating, I highly recommend it!

My husband was excited for this opportunity. I was absolutely scared to death and was confident that I would back out before jumping. However, Wally was my tandem partner and he's been jumping for over 30 years so I felt confident that I'd somehow survive. I was scared but very curious at the same time. So we both did it and loved it! I was the first one on the plane to jump. Everything went smoothly and we both highly recommend this activity for the ultimate experience of a first timer! We both had a blast, bought the video/photo package to remember and have no regrets!!

I researched how to see the lava flows of Kilauea, including night tours from the sea. A helicopter tour was my first choice, but it was a bit pricey, so I was unsure. However, I found that tours from Hilo are about half the price compared to those from Waikoloa, and the travel time from Kona to Hilo was shorter than I expected. So, I decided to go for it and signed up for a tour from Hilo, along with a drive around the Big Island.

Seeing the Earth's living processes up close from the sky was incredible. The sight of the village buried in lava, the bright red crater, and the dramatic flow of lava into the ocean with steam was breathtaking. It was definitely worth it, and I was extremely satisfied.

I read that the waiting time is incredibly long if you go late, so I rushed from Waikiki with a rental car and arrived before 9 AM. The briefing was very casual, and we were shown a video explaining that if anything goes wrong, it's all your fault. It was worth the rush because we took off on the first flight after about 40 minutes, and it took around 20 minutes to reach altitude. About eight of us lined up in two rows, and we dove one after another. There was no time to be scared; it was a quick free fall. They gave us goggles, but they didn't fit well, and wind got in, making it hard to see. I managed to see by holding them in place. After about 60 seconds, the parachute opened, and we enjoyed the scenery for about five minutes, which was really fun. The photos and videos cost over $100, so I secretly brought a micro camera to try filming! I managed to record something, but I couldn't get a full-body shot, and they asked us to empty our pockets beforehand, so I secretly attached it to my wristwatch. It seemed like it was not allowed, but I felt like they turned a blind eye. If you're considering this as a lifelong memory, it's worth spending the money!

遅く行くと待ち時間が恐ろしく長いと書き込みにあったので、レンタカーでワイキキからすっ飛ばして９時前につきました。講習などは超適当でやたら死んでも全てあなたのせいなどの説明ビデオを見せられます。急いで走って来たかいがあって１番目のフライトで40分ほどでテイクオフ・上空に上がるのに感覚20分程度、２列に並んだ８名ほどが次々ダイブします。怖いもクソもなくあっとゆう間に自由落下、ゴーグルをはめてくれますが合ってないのか風が入ってきてよく見えません手で押さえたらなんとか見えました。60秒ぐらいでパラセールが開いてそこから５分程度景色を楽しみながら余裕で楽しいです。写真ビデオは100ドル以上するので私はこっそりマイクロカメラを仕込み動画撮影にチャレンジ！なんとか撮影は出来ましたが、綺麗に全身は撮れませんし最初にポケットの中身は全て出すように言われますから、仕込みはこっそり腕時計につけて乗り込みました。本来はダメみたいで見て見ぬふりをしてもらっていたような気がします。一生の記念にと思われるならお金は出しましょう！

A surprise helicopter tour for my birthday from my boyfriend was one of the best presents ever! As we departed Maui, we flew straight to Molokai to see the world's highest sea cliffs and the lush, greenery of the unspoiled island.

There were countless waterfalls and the water was beautiful! I learned a lot about the islands of Maui & Molokai, and it was definitely an experience I would recommend to everyone visiting Hawaii for the first time. We will definitely be doing more helicopter tours in the future!

Our air tour was the very best way to begin our exploration of Kauai! Our pilot was very informative and we were able to get some amazing photos and video with him as our guide. We highly recommend the tour and hope to take it again soon!

Since it was my first time in Hawaii, I wanted to do something memorable, so I used this service. Even though it's a tropical paradise, it was cold at an altitude of 4,000 meters. During the descent, my body hurt from the wind pressure (it's beyond imagination), but it's a refreshing kind of pain that you can only experience there. You can see all of Hawaii from above, and I was just so moved.

You can add a photographer as an option, but it's a bit pricey. However, if it's your first time, I definitely recommend getting one!

After returning home, I watched the video and photos with my friends and family. Recently, one of my family members traveled to Hawaii, and I had recommended this experience. They participated and said, "It was just amazing! Thank you for telling me about it." It's truly the best experience that I remember fondly!

南国といえども、高度４０００メートルの上空は寒かったです。
落下の際は、体が風圧で痛いんですが（想像を超えます）そこでしか体感できない爽快な痛さです★

オプションで、カメラマンを付けることができるんですが、少し金額は高め。でも、絶対初めてであるなら付けたほうがいいです！！

帰国してから、その動画と写真を友人や家族と一緒に見ました。
先日、家族の１人が旅行でハワイに行きましたが、おススメしておいたところ参加したようで、「もう、最高すぎた！教えてくれてありがとう」なんて感謝もされてしまいました。
いつ思い出しても最高の体験です！！

I had heard from my parents about their trip to see the lava before I was born, and I was really looking forward to this helicopter tour. The weather in Waikoloa was great, but there were a lot of clouds in the direction of Mauna Kea, which made me a bit anxious. Unfortunately, my worries came true, and due to bad weather, the tour to see the lava in Hilo was canceled. I was extremely sad, but I felt relieved knowing that the staff prioritized safety. The Japanese pilot mentioned that Waipi'o Valley is also wonderful, and that it was okay to cancel. He even said that they would refund the entire tour fee, so I asked my parents if we could go on the tour just to Waipi'o Valley. I had been on a helicopter in Japan before, but when we took off and flew over the vast land of the Big Island, I was moved by its grandeur. There were a few clouds and it rained a bit along the way, but flying over Waipi'o Valley felt like entering a completely different world, almost like a dream. I saw many waterfalls flowing between the valleys, and I wanted to drink from them. It was a little scary flying through the valley, but even at 12 years old, I was able to experience a lot of emotions.

私は、私が生まれる前に、パパやママが溶岩を見に行ったことを聞かせれていて、この遊覧飛行をとても楽しみにしていました。ワイコロアはとても天気が良かったのですが、マウナケアの方角は雲が多っかたので、ちょっと不安でした。不安は当り、天候が悪いので、溶岩が見れるヒロ方面はツアーが中止になってくれました。ものすごく悲しかったけれど、安全を第一に考えてくれるスタッフの皆さんに、残念な気持ちと裏腹に安堵の感がありました。日本人のパイロットの人が、ワイピオ渓谷も素晴らしいですよ、でもキャンセルしても構いません。ツアー料金は全て返しますとまで言ってくれて、パパとママにお願いをしてワイピオ渓谷のみのツア－に行くことにしました。日本でヘリコプタ－には乗ったことがあったけど、離陸のとき、ハワイ島の大地を飛んでいくとき、その広大な迫力に感動しました。少し雲があったり、途中で雨が降ってきたけれど、ワイピオ渓谷、まるで違う世界にきたような、夢をみているような感じがしました。渓谷の合間から流れ出る、たくさんの滝、飲んでみたくなりました。渓谷の中を飛んでいるときちょっと怖かったけれど、１２歳の私でも多くの感動を味わうことができました。

I'm not good with thrill rides, but I saw this on TV and wanted to try it, so I made a reservation. They often say it changes your perspective on life, but in my case, it didn't change much. Depending on the season, it might be different, but in mid-March, it gets cold up high, so I thought it would be safe to wear a sweatshirt and sneakers, and I think that was the right choice. During the free fall, I couldn't breathe and it was tough. So next time, I want to do a plan with a lower altitude. After the parachute opened, it really felt like I was a bird, and I could visibly see the curvature of the Earth, which was an indescribable feeling. I definitely want to do it again!

よく、人生観が変わると言いますが、私の場合はあまり変わらなかったですf^_^;
季節によって変わるかもですが、三月中旬だと上空のほうへ行くと寒いので、スウェットとスニーカーが無難だろうと思って調達しました、正解だったと思います。フリーフォールの間はとにかく息ができなくて苦しいです。なので次にやる時は高度下げたプランでやりたいです。パラシュートが開いた後はほんとに鳥になったようで気持ちいいし、地球の丸さが目に見えてわかるのがなんとも言えない感慨に浸れます^ ^ 絶対またやりたい！

This was my first trip to Hawaii, and my main goal was to go skydiving. I actually have a fear of heights, but as the plane ascended, the excitement and tension grew stronger than my fear.

When the moment came to jump... it happened in the blink of an eye, but rather than being scared, it was fun. I'm really glad I did it. I believe it's an experience that only those who have tried it can truly understand.

If you're hesitating, I definitely think it's worth giving it a try.

ハワイ旅行は初めてで、スカイダイビングを最大の目的にしていた私。
実は高所恐怖症なのですが、飛行機で空高くなるにつれて、高所恐怖症より、ワクワク感と緊張のほうが高まってきました。

One of the members said, "I want to try flying!" so we made a reservation.

The initial waiver states, as mentioned in the testimonials, that they won't take responsibility for anything that happens. I recommend reading it carefully instead of just signing it.

When we arrived at the airfield, we watched a simple explanatory video in both English and Japanese. I was really curious about the owner's beard (laughs).

You can purchase memories of skydiving through photos only, videos only, or both. If you choose not to buy, you'll be encouraged to have the instructor take photos with a camera attached to their arm later on, which costs about $70. It seems you can't take pictures with the instructor unless you buy something. The prices are quite high. The choice to buy or not is yours, but the sales pitch is quite strong (laughs).

I initially chose photos only but switched to both after flying. The price difference was $30, and since I could decide after seeing the finished product, I splurged a bit☆(*・∀・*)ノ You can also use a card. For both (photos + DVD), it was about $200 on sale.
