I had various anxieties, but I thought it would be a valuable experience and decided to participate. During the transfer, I was a bit intimidated by having to sign various consent forms, but the instructor was very friendly and put me at ease. As expected, I checked my equipment multiple times on the plane. Before I knew it, we were in the air! It felt like a different world. Instead of the sensation of being dropped like on a roller coaster, it felt like being hit by strong winds, so even those who can't handle thrill rides will be just fine. In no time, we finished about a minute of free fall and deployed the parachute. At that moment, I finally felt like I was flying. I enjoyed a leisurely stroll in the sky. This is definitely a tour I recommend experiencing. There were other places besides Pacific Skydiving, but the equipment was different. The planes there were ridiculously small and slow, making me wonder if it was safe. In contrast, the plane at Pacific Skydiving is large and fast, and it definitely takes you up to 14,000 feet. Since there are Japanese staff for the transfer and instructors, you can trust them much more than the cheaper options at $100.

いろいろ不安はありましたが、貴重な経験と思い参加しました。送迎途中いろいろ承諾書にサインをさせられてビビらせられますが、インストラクターはとてもフレンドリーで安心させられます。当たり前でしょうが、飛行機の中でも何度も装備をチェックしてました。そして怖いとか言ってる間もなくいざ空へ！！そこは別世界です。ジェットコースターのように落とされる感覚ではなく、強い風を浴びてる感覚ですから絶叫マシーンに乗れない人でも全然大丈夫です。あっという間に約１分のフリーフォールを終えてパラシュートに。ここでやっと空を飛んでる実感が沸いてきました。ゆっくり空中散歩を楽しんできました。ぜひ体験してほしいツアーです。あとパシフィックスカイダイビング以外のところもありましたが設備が違います。飛行機なんかムチャクチャ小さく速度も遅く大丈夫？って感じです。パシフィックスカイダイビングの飛行機は大きいし早いし、確実に１４０００フィートに連れていってくれます。送迎やインストラクターも日本人の方がいらっしゃいますので、１００ドルの安いところより絶対信頼できますよ。

I participated on September 27. It was my first time in Hawaii for my honeymoon, and before leaving Japan, when I told everyone I was going skydiving, they all said, "Why would you do something like that, which feels like a punishment game, on your honeymoon?" But... it was definitely the right choice!!! It was incredibly fun!!

I had an amazing experience that I wouldn't trade for anything else! The indescribable tension at the moment of freefall and the feeling of breaking through the clouds was just so moving! I definitely want to recommend it to everyone.

キラウエア火山　ヘリコプター遊覧 ＜フライト50分／英語パイロット／ヒロ空港発＞

I participated in the Circle of Fire tour departing from Hilo. The departure time was 9 AM, and six of us boarded one helicopter. Naturally, sitting by the window is preferable, but only three people can sit there, and the seating arrangement seems to be determined based on the balance of the aircraft. I was already feeling excited before getting on the helicopter, but the moment it took off, my spirits soared. Below me was the beautiful town of Hilo, and I could also see Rainbow Falls. After flying over the forest for a while, we finally arrived at the much-anticipated volcano crater. There were five plumes of smoke rising, and the helicopter circled above them. I could clearly see the red crater. It reminded me of the movie "The Lord of the Rings." It was truly moving. This is something you can only see from a helicopter. There are also Cessna tours available, but a helicopter is definitely the way to go. The altitude is completely different. After the crater, we passed over black lava (and spotted some red lava along the way) and saw the lava flowing into the sea at the Chain of Craters Road, creating steam, before heading back. The landing was surprisingly soft, and the ride was incredibly comfortable. However, I think it's a good idea for those who might get motion sickness to take some medication beforehand. To show the people sitting on the right and left sides of the helicopter, the pilot made right and left turns to give us a view of the crater, but those directional changes were quite nauseating. I was fine, but there was one person who seemed to be struggling. The entire tour was conducted in English. Initially, the staff only spoke English, but there was one Japanese person among them. It's fine even if you can't speak English. There seems to be a Japanese pilot named Toshi, but I guess that's just luck. If you depart from Kona, it costs more to see the crater, but from Hilo, you can take a relatively inexpensive 50-minute tour, which I recommend. Also, try to go early in the morning because it gets crowded since the crater is the main attraction. In the afternoon, clouds tend to form more easily. In fact, when I participated at 9 AM, there were two helicopters, but by the 10 AM departure, there were quite a few people in line. During the tour, I was quite eager to take videos, and I was able to buy one for $20. This video was taken without me realizing it, and it occasionally includes scenes from inside the helicopter, making for some great memories. I purchased it. ヒロ出発のサークルオブファイヤーに参加しました。参加した時間は午前９時出発。１台のヘリに６名のりました。座る場所は当然窓側がいいのですが、窓側にのれるのは３名で、座る場所は機体のバランスを考えて決まるようです。ヘリに乗る前からドキドキだったのですが、ヘリが飛び立った瞬間から気分は最高潮。眼下に美しいヒロの町並み、そして、レインボー滝も見えました。しばらく森の上を飛んだ後、いよいよお待ちかねのボルケーノの火口が登場します。もくもくと煙が５つあがっていて、そのうえをヘリは旋回します。はっきりと赤い火口がみえました。映画のロードオブリングを思い出してしまいました。ほんと感動ものです。これがみれるのはヘリしかない。セスナ機のツアーもあるようですが、セスナ機より断然ヘリです。高度が全然ちがいます。火口のあとは、黒い溶岩の上を通過（途中、赤い溶岩を所々発見）し､チェーンオブクレーター道路の先にある溶岩が海に流れ落ちて水蒸気があがっているところをみて、帰路につきます。着陸は思いのほかソフトで､すごい乗り心地がよかったです。ただ、酔いそうな人は酔い止めを飲んでおくといいと思います。ヘリの右側と左側に座っている人に見せるため､途中右旋回と左旋回で､火口を見せてくれるのですが､その方向転換の時、けっこう気持ち悪いです。私は平気でしたが､１人やばそうな方がおられました。ツアーはすべて英語でした。係員も最初英語のみでしたが、途中１人日本人の方がおられました。別に英語がしゃべれない人でも大丈夫です。パイロットもトシさんという日本人パイロットがおられるようですが、こればっかりは運でしょうか。コナ出発だと､火口をみようと思うと費用がかかりますが、ヒロからなら、50分のツアーで比較的安価にいけるのでおすすめです。さらに時間は早い時間にしましょう。なぜなら、火口がメインポイントのため混むからです。そして、午後は雲が発生しやすいらしい。事実、私が参加した９時は２機のヘリでしたが､10時発はけっこう人が並んでました。ツアー中、けっこう必死にビデオとってたのですが、20ドルで買うことができました。このビデオはしらんまにとられてて､車内の様子もたまに入っているので､けっこういい思い出になります。私は購入しました。では、ぜひぜひこれを読んでるあなた様もヘリにのって、赤い火口をごらんになってみてください。すっご

I participated with my younger sister. At first, I thought skydiving was scary and outrageous! However, since my sister insisted on doing it together, I reluctantly joined.

Initially, I got scared reading a long document with all the terms and conditions and signing it, and I hesitated, thinking, "Maybe I should just back out..." I watched a video beforehand to learn how to dive, and before I knew it, I found myself wearing a harness. (laughs)

I was diving with an instructor, who was very friendly, and for some reason, I didn't feel nervous at all. (The instructors can understand some Japanese, so it's reassuring.)

We ascended quite high, and one by one, each pair jumped out. I jumped without hesitation. While falling until the parachute opened, I dropped at an incredible speed, feeling very cold and unable to breathe properly (it's better to breathe through your mouth, slightly open sideways), and I was scared wondering how long we would fall. However, once the parachute opened, it felt amazing.

The weather was perfect, and the views of the sea and everything else from the sky were vibrant, beautiful, and wonderful, leaving a lasting impression on me.

私は、妹と２人での参加でした。
当初私はスカイダイビングなんて、怖いし、とんでもない！と思いましたが、妹がどうしても付き合ってくれと言うので、仕方なく参加したのです。
初めは、長々と文章の書かれた念書？を読み、サインをしたりで、怖気づいてしまって『やっぱりやめようか…』などと迷いました。前もって、ビデオを見てダイビングの仕方を学習し、いつの間にか、体にはハーネスをつけている自分がいました。（笑）
インストラクターと２人でダイビングするわけですが、インストラクターの方がとてもフレンドリーでなぜか緊張せずに済みました。（インストラクターの方は、日本語も多少分かる方ばかりなので、安心ですよ）
かなり上空まで上がり、一組一組…と順番に飛び降りて行き、自分も躊躇する間もなく飛び降りました。パラシュートが開くまでの間、ものすごいスピードで落ちて行き、とても寒く、呼吸も出来ないくらいで（鼻ではなく、口で細く横に開けて呼吸すると良い）、いつまで落ちるものかと怖かったのですが、バラシュートが開いてからは、とても気持ちが良かったです。
丁度とても天気が良く、空から見る海などのあらゆる景色が鮮やかで、とても綺麗で素晴らしく、目に焼き付いています。
時間にしたら、短い時間だと思いますが、自分にとっては、時間が止まっていたかのような長い時間を過ごしたような気がします。
本当にエキサイティングで貴重な体験をしたと思います。
きっと忘れられない思い出になるでしょう。
勇気のある方は、是非やってみる価値はあると思いますよ！

I had been quite nervous for about a week, but once I actually flew, it was nothing at all! It was amazing. At the moment of takeoff, I was in such a high state that I wasn't scared at all.

Anyway, I got to see views I've never seen before and experience winds I've never felt. The ocean and mountains of Hawaii from above were truly beautiful.

Above all, I highly recommend trying it at least once. I believe it will definitely be a great experience.

This was my first trip to Hawaii, so I decided to splurge and booked a Cessna sightseeing flight to take a look at Oahu from the sky. I was able to see places I couldn't visit due to time constraints, and the ocean was truly beautiful and breathtaking. However, if you focus too much on taking pictures and look down, you might feel a bit nauseous, so I recommend that participants manage their health well the day before. Lack of sleep is something to watch out for. But looking back at the photos, they turned out beautifully, and it was quite a good experience. Next time, I want to fly at night! Daytime is great, but I've heard nighttime is also wonderful.

今回は初ハワイと言う事で、先ずオアフを空から眺めてみようと奮発してセスナ遊覧飛行を申込みました。時間が無くて足を運べない所も上空から見る事が出来たし、海は本当にキレイで感激ものでした。ただ、あまり写真をとろうと下ばかり見ていると気持ちが悪くなってしまうので、参加される方は前日から体調管理はしっかりしておいた方が良いと思います。睡眠不足は要注意。でも後から写真を見てもきれいにとれていたし、なかなか良い経験でした。次は夜の空を飛んでみたいです！日中も良いし、夜もまた良いらしいですよ。

Even on the bus to the activity and after arriving at the airport for the diving Cessna, I was warned through documents and videos that "skydiving is dangerous!" and "it's your responsibility no matter what happens!" I was quite intimidated by all of this, but there's no doubt that it is indeed a dangerous activity.

However, once you actually jump (or more accurately, fall?), the thrill and exhilaration are indescribable. Rather than listening to half-hearted opinions from others, seeing people jump at the site made me even more nervous, and then it was my turn to jump...

Thanks to the free-spirited instructor, I believe that even though we all had the same skydiving experience, our impressions were quite different. (I realized that sometimes the casualness of foreigners can be better than the uniform service provided by Japanese people.)

To capture this excitement, I highly recommend the video recording option. (Although, for those who haven't jumped, the true thrill might not be conveyed...)

アクティビティの迎えのバスでも、ダイビングのセスナ機の空港に到着してからも、
「スカイダイビングは危険だ！」「何があっても自己責任だ！」等々文書やビデオで
言われ、「止めても今なら費用はかからない等々」随分ビビラされますが、それほど
危険なものであることには間違えありません。
しかし、いざ飛ぶ（厳密には落ちる？）とこの迫力、爽快感は何とも言えません。
他人の中途半端な感想を聞くよりも、現地で人が落ちるところを見て更にビビリ、
自分が落ちて・・・
という感じです。

自由な発想をもつインストラクターのおかげでスカイダイビングという同じ体験をしても感想が
随分違っていると思います。
（外国人のいいかげんさが日本人の均一化したサービスよりいいこともあることを思い知りました。）

この感動を残すためにもビデオ撮影のオプションはお勧めだと思います。
（ダイビングした人以外には、きっと本当の感動は伝わりませんが・・・）

It's much cheaper than doing it in Japan (in Japan, tandem skydiving costs around 30,000 yen), and since it was my first time, I thought it would be cooler to say I went skydiving in Hawaii rather than just sightseeing. I staggered over to my friend, who landed around the same time, and we were both super excited! Despite looking a bit messy with runny noses and tears, we kept exclaiming how amazing it was. I feel like my perspective on life has changed. I highly recommend everyone to try it!

日本でやるよりだいぶ安いし（日本だとタンデムで３万円前後）初めてだったのでハワイで観光してきたって言うよりスカイダイビングしてきたって言ったほうが友達に自慢できるかなと思いやってきました。高い所は別に苦手じゃないのでバンジｰジャンプのような現実的な高さから飛び降りるよりは意外と大丈夫かなと思ってましたが甘かった・・・。実際、飛行機がどんどん上昇してってそんなに上がらなくてもっていうくらい高度上げられてしまいビビッていましたが後悔先に立たず。意を決したつもりが順番近づくとやっぱり足がすくんでしまう。そんな事はよそにベルトコンベアｰのようにインストラクターのなすがままあっけなく大空にダイブっっ！何を叫んでいたかは覚えていないのですが（かあちゃ~~んでしょうか？）それとは別にすげえ--という感覚が沸いてきました。飛んでる時間が短かったのか長かったのか分からないまま着地。同じ頃着地した友達とフラフラになりながら近づいて行って二人で大興奮！お互い鼻水と涙で汚い絵面になりながらもすげ-すげ-の連発でした。なんか人生観変わった気までします。皆さんも是非やってみて下さいよ。

This time, I only took a scenic flight in a Cessna, but the view of Hawaii from above was incredibly beautiful and moving. During the flight, the staff provided very detailed explanations, and it was thrilling to take off in between regular airplanes landing and taking off at Honolulu Airport. The conversations through the headphones felt very authentic and exciting. Next time, I want to try piloting!

The view from above is quite different from what you see on the ground. You can't really understand it through ground sightseeing. The staff provides clear explanations about various places like Hanauma Bay and Pearl Harbor. You can see the beautiful blue ocean and the lush green mountains all at once, and it was truly healing to experience the beauty of Hawaii. However, due to air currents, the aircraft can shake a bit, which was a little surprising, but it became a good memory. If you're prone to motion sickness, it might be a good idea to take some motion sickness medication beforehand.

空の上から見る景色は、地上でみる景色とではひと味違います。地上での観光ではわからないですよね。
ハナウマ湾、パールハーバーとかいろいろスタッフの方がわかりやすく説明をしてくれます。
キレイな青い海や緑いっぱの山々も一度に見る事ができ、ハワイの美しさに癒されました。
でも気流の関係で機体が揺れることもあるので、ちょっとビックリしましたが、それもいい思い出になりました。
酔いやすい人は酔い止めを飲んでおくといいかもしれません

I remembered the beauty of the southern country's scenery from above when I went parasailing in New Caledonia, so I decided to visit even though it was a bit pricey. 昔ニューカレドニアでパラセールをした時に、上空から見る南の国の景色の美しさを思い出し少し高いけど行って見ました。2003年3月の話ですが、変わらないと思うので書きます。ワイキキリゾートホテルまで迎えに来てくれたのは、まじめな雰囲気の方。もしかして社長さん？快適なミニバンでホノルル空港の裏まで行きました。なんとなくわくわくする裏から入る空港。格納庫を開くと双発のセスナ（だと思う）が止まっている。ほとんど手続きらしいものもせずにスルスルとタクシーイングしてしばらく止まっていた。「戦闘機ですよ」と言われてみたらF１４トムキャットという戦闘機が二機並列で目の前をジェットの炎を目の前１０メートル（？！）近く花火のように伸ばしながら、映画のシーンのように飛んで行った。いきなり感激。そのあとは真珠湾だの、ホノルルのオレンジ色の明かりだのととても満足の行くフライトでした。また乗りたいなと書きながら感慨に耽っています。ところで、このボイスセンターって「東京レストランガイド」に見た目とか雰囲気似ていますね。書き込み第一号で緊張しました。
