I did it thinking it would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience! But I want to do it again!! It felt amazing! However, as the reviews said, the wait is really long! I read the reviews and went by rental car, but I checked in before 9 AM and waited 3 hours until the flight... It seemed like they prioritized the shuttle people. If that’s the case, they should either stagger the check-in times from the beginning or let us know that we would be waiting for 3 hours, so we could have gone sightseeing during that time!! The DVD is a bit pricey, but I'm glad I asked for it! They edit it really cool!

高すぎるためか、考える間もなく飛び出されたためか、高所恐怖はさほど感じないまま、時速200kmのスピードで落ちる！というより空に浮いている感覚でした。（人にもよりますが、空で平泳ぎをしたりでこのときが一番楽しい!）

無事パラシュートが開くとようやくすばらしい景色に気づき、ゆっくりと壮大なパノラマを楽しめます。（下を見たままだと酔うと聞いていたので、時折遠方に目を向けます）

みるみる地面が近づくと、結構なスピードが出ていることが分かりましたが、無事着地。
インストラクターと固い握手をかわして、未知の体験が終了です。

快晴と無風に恵まれたこともあり、大満足でした。
これは、クセになりそうです。

Skydiving was my number one thing I wanted to do on my honeymoon.

I experienced it with my husband. It was very scary being up in the sky and jumping out until the parachute opened, but the instructor reassured us, and I was able to dive with confidence!!

I participated this time with anticipation, a long-held wish. There was no worry about joining alone, and we smoothly took to the skies. I had no fear of flying at all. The weather was great, and the scenery was fantastic.

One disappointing thing was that I requested videos and photos, but the quality varied greatly depending on the cameraman. Blue Hawaiian is the company that filmed the scenes for Jurassic Park and our pilot took us out to where the filming took place. Absolutely beautiful. Just the helicopter ride itself is a real rush but to see 2500 ft waterfalls, the tallest ocean cliffs in the world and a rock shaped like a sleeping elephant in the middle of the ocean is just a bonus. The staff was very friendly and the pilot certainly knew the history of the islands; he kept it very interesting. We purchased the DVD of our flight and the DVD of the islands from a helicopter view and both are awesome.

Skydiving was incredibly fun! On the day of the jump, there were some clouds, so we jumped from a slightly lower altitude, but I was more than satisfied. The cameraman assigned to me seemed to have low skills, and it looked like we might have to turn back due to the thick clouds, but somehow we managed to jump. I also bought the DVD, and it became a great memory. When you go, I definitely recommend renting a car with a navigation system and driving there yourself! Next time, I want to jump on a clear day! I participated alone at the end of the year. The weather was great, and the free fall while looking out from Turtle Bay to Diamond Head was amazing.

Honestly, I thought there would be more lectures at the beginning, but we only watched a video and then jumped right in, which was a bit surprising, but in a way, it was efficient.

It seems that my jumping buddies didn't speak much Japanese, so having some understanding of English might reduce the enjoyment a bit, but the experience itself was truly wonderful, so I definitely want to recommend it.

年末ひとりで参加しました。天気がよかったこともあり、タートルベイからダイヤモンドヘッドまで見渡しながらのフリーフォールは最高でした。

My first skydiving experience from 14,000 feet was truly one of a kind. However, the waiting time before the jump and for the return shuttle was excessively long and felt like a waste (they didn't provide any estimates), so I wouldn't recommend it for those who are impatient.

Since the ocean entry of lava is currently unavailable, I opted for a helicopter tour. I was worried because it had been cloudy until the day before, but we were blessed with clear skies and were able to see breathtaking views. There were past craters scattered around, allowing us to witness the remnants of previous lava flows and observe how lava changes over time. The contrast between dry and rainy areas was also visible, giving us a sense of nature's dynamism. We could see roads cut off by lava flows, lava within the currently active Puʻu ʻŌʻō crater (which was a bit far away, and I wished we could get a little closer), and people walking towards the ocean entry. 過去の噴火口があちこちにあり、過去のlaveの流れたあとを目にすることができるし、時の流れでlaveがどのように変化するか、乾燥地帯と多雨地帯の相違も目で見て自然のダイナミックさを感じることができました。また、laveの流れで寸断された道路や、現在活動中のpuoo火口内のlave（ちょっと遠くて、もう少し近づいてほしかった）、オーシャンエントリーに歩いていく人たち。laveに関するものが一望できました。
いっぱい写真も撮りましたが、帰って見た写真と実物の迫力がこれほど違うかとびっくりするぐらいでした。
laveの活動が活発になったら、もう一度ヘリで飛びたいと思う印象的なフライトでした。
迎えに来てくれた人や、ヘリの整備士の活動も見れたし、受付の人、パイロットはみんな親切でとても楽しいフライトでした。

I wanted to see the flowing lava into the ocean, so I joined a helicopter tour. Since the explanation was in English, I didn't fully understand the details, but looking down at the Big Island from the helicopter was fascinating; it was just like the geography I studied in school, showing the natural landscape as it is.

However, the volcano we aimed for wasn't very active, and we only saw a few spots where the lava was slowly flowing. From above, it was hard to tell if it was actually moving. Currently, the lava is described as "sleepy." There were no signs of lava erupting or falling into the ocean. While there was some hot lava, since it was a morning flight, we could only see a few areas glowing red, which might look different at night. I booked this about two months ago, so the condition of the volcano largely depends on luck. Given the current situation, I think a hiking and stargazing tour would allow for a closer view of the flowing lava. It might be a good idea to check the volcano's status before deciding on a tour.

That said, helicopters can’t fly due to weather conditions, and in the past two instances with other tour companies, my flights were canceled because of the weather, so I was glad we were able to fly.

　ただ、目的の火山があまりアクティブでなく、のんびり溶岩が流れている様子が何カ所か見られるのみでした。それも上空からだと動いているかどうかは実感できません。今（今日？）溶岩はスリーピーとのこと。溶岩が噴出していたり、海には落ちていたりする様子はありませんでした。熱い溶岩がない訳ではないのですが午前中のフライトなので、溶岩がところどころ赤くなっていることが分かる程度で、夜だったら見え方は多少違うのかもしれません。2ヶ月くらい前に予約したので、火山の状態がどうかは運によるところが大きいのでしょう。この状態ならハイキングと星空ツアーの方が、より近くで流れる溶岩を見られてよいかと思いました。火山の状態をチェックしながらどのツアーにするか考えるとよいかもしれません。
　とはいえ、ヘリコプターは天気によって飛べないことがあり、過去2回、他のツアー会社ですが天気のせいでキャンセルになっているので、飛べてよかったです。

On the day of the event, we rented a car, so we opted out of the shuttle service. The meeting time was set for 9:00, so we arrived around 8:30, but the office was already open, and it seemed like the order of jumps was based on the order of check-in. Even though we arrived at 8:30, there were already many people there, and we ended up taking off around 9:30.

This was my second time skydiving, and it was just as amazing as the first. The view from the sky was incredibly beautiful, and I felt no fear at all when jumping from the plane. ２度目のスカイダイビングだったのですが、やっぱり最高でした。空から見る景色はとてもきれくて、飛行機からとぶときも怖さは全くありませんでした。雲の中を通ったときだけいきなり気温が下がったのでびっくりしましたが・・・写真をお願いしていたので、２度ほどカメラマンを向き合った状態で飛んでいました。とてもよくとれていて、もっといろんなポーズをしておけばよかったと思いました。。。（インストラクターの方は色んなポーズをしてくれていたので）
チップを入れる箱がおいてあり、終わったあとにインストラクターとカメラマンが自分の箱を教えてくれたので、そこにチップを入れておきました。
写真は１０分ほどですぐにできました。それを確認して、代金を支払い、私たちはレンタカーだったので10：30頃には終了して出発しました。ワイキキに戻るバスの時間は決まっているようで、送迎付きの人はまだ待っていました。行くなら自分たちで行くほうが時間を有効に使えると思います。

I made a reservation on the site for 9:00 and checked in around 8:45, but I actually flew around 13:00. For some reason, I was marked as having flown around 12:00, and I was skipped in line, with people who arrived later flying before me. Is there really any point to making a reservation?

The skydiving itself was fun. However, both my wife and I were quite fed up with the long wait times. Our feelings changed from anxiety to anger, then to resignation and indifference, and we wasted half of our precious vacation.

The only Japanese staff member that day was unprofessional and didn’t use polite language. The female staff member at the reception didn’t show a single smile. Even when I tried to communicate my concerns, she responded with gestures that indicated she didn’t care.

While there may be people who simply say, "I had fun!" I think there is a lot of inconsistency in that. There are certainly personalities among the many instructors that may or may not match, but the reservation system and the unpleasantness of the reception staff were honestly terrible.

You never know what might happen on the day, and since there isn’t always a Japanese staff member present, I think you need a certain level of English proficiency to voice complaints and the mental strength to endure the rude staff and long wait times.

おそらくは、単純に「楽しめた！」って言う人もいるんでしょうが、そこにはムラが多いと思います。大勢いるインストラクターの個性には合う合わないがあるにせよ、予約のシステムや受付スタッフの感じの悪さは、正直ひどい。

当日何があるかわからないし、日本人スタッフも常にいるとは限らないので、文句を言えるくらいの英語力と、雑なスタッフと長い待ち時間に耐えられる精神力は必要だと思います。

For the first time in my life, I flew in the sky. The feeling of fear lasts only for a brief moment as you drop. After that, the altitude is so high that you hardly feel like you're falling. The pressure of the wind from below made it hard to breathe, and I was desperately gasping with my mouth wide open. Also, at such a high altitude, I was able to see a round rainbow in the air. Despite being cheaper than in Japan, I was thrilled to jump in such a wonderful location. I thought I would be scared when jumping, but before I could hesitate, I leaped right off. Thanks to my reliable instructor, I was able to jump with a smile. While taking in the blue sky and ocean, I experienced a rapid descent at first, and then after the parachute opened, I glided gently through the air, which felt fantastic. Before flying, I had to sign a lot of contracts, which made me a bit anxious, but I'm glad I went!

It was hard to breathe until the parachute opened, but after that, it felt amazing and was the best experience!

It was quite cold up in the air, so wearing thin long sleeves and long pants might be a good idea☆

When you jump, there's no time to hesitate; it felt like I was gently floating down with the flow.

If you order photos and a DVD, you can check them in the room where the safety video is played at the beginning.

The person I jumped with only ordered photos, but the cameraman had both cameras mounted on his head, and it seemed like they were filming the DVD at the same time. After seeing that footage, they ended up wanting both and purchased them.

Tips are given to the instructor, the cameraman, and the shuttle bus driver separately.
