This was my first experience with skydiving, and I wanted to try it at least once in my life, so I included it in my honeymoon plans. I participated in the afternoon session, and they provided transportation to the nearest hotel. During the ride, a manual video was played in the car, and we were instructed to fill out about four pages of a waiver (in Japanese) printed on both sides. Reading it made me anxious about jumping! (laughs) Once we arrived at the site, we first submitted the forms and vouchers, and they asked if we wanted to add photos or videos as options. The guide spoke English slowly, making it easy to understand. If you chose the photographer for the photos, they also filmed a video, and you could decide later whether to purchase it. We waited about an hour and a half before the experience. I recommend finishing any meals in advance, as there was only one food truck on-site offering fast food.

As we got closer to diving, I met the instructor, who explained the equipment and gave a brief explanation of the dive in simple Japanese. Then it was time to board the Cessna! One thing to note is that the performance varies by instructor. My husband’s instructor was doing flips in the air. Even when he tried to say "stop" in English or gesture, it didn’t get through. It seems that some instructors may have more extreme performances for male participants, so gentlemen planning to experience this should be cautious. The photos and videos are quite pricey, so if your budget allows, I recommend purchasing them. There’s also an expectation to tip the instructor, photographer, and pilot at least $20. I was so fulfilled that I even fell asleep on the way back. If you’re thinking about skydiving at least once in your life, I definitely recommend doing it in Hawaii. The cost-performance ratio, including the scenery, is great!

ダイビング間近になるとインストラクターと初対面し器具装着と簡単な日本語でダイビングの説明をしてくれました。そしていざセスナ機へ！みるみる地上が小さくなり、海や山が鮮明に見えるのですごく景色が綺麗でした。私はなんとダイビング順の1番目になってしまいました。躊躇なくインストラクターも飛び込んだので気が付けば空の中に！ハワイの景色を一望！太陽の光も綺麗で写真に残せた事を今でも嬉しく思います。あっという間に着地していました。体感は3分くらい空に居たのかな？主人は地に足が着いた瞬間、生きている心地がしたそうです。(笑)ダイビング直後はとても寒かったです。太陽の光が刺せば暖かく徐々にハワイの気温になっていくので羽織るものは必須です。夢が実現した達成感と目に焼きつく景色を味わえかつ無事生還できたので大満足です！注意点としてはインストラクター毎にパフォーマンスが違います。主人のインストラクターは空中で何度も回転していたそうです。やめてと英語で話したりジェスチャーしても通じなかったとか。男性に対してパフォーマンスが過激な事もあるようなのでこれから体験される男性陣は気を付けて下さい。。写真やビデオはまぁいいお値段なので費用に余裕があれば購入する事をオススメします。インストラクターやカメラマンやパイロットにチップ＄20以上をあげる雰囲気もあります。帰りの車で眠っちゃうくらい充実しましたね。人生に一度はスカイダイビングしたい！と考えているならぜひハワイでダイビングする事をオススメします。景色を含めたコスパが良いですよ！

窓無しヘリで自分の方に機体を傾けて旋回されると、つり革を強く握り締めざるを得なかったです。
時折太陽が顔を出すと、海が一面鮮やかなブルーに変わり、季節外れでも
ハワイやべえ(さすが凄い)！って感じでした。

半袖Tの上に長袖T着て、さらに登山用雨具の上着を着ていましたが、最後の方は少し寒さを感じました。

ワイキキビーチ側、もしくは真珠湾側からダイヤモンドヘッドの頂上のすぐ脇を通り過ぎていくのですが、欲をいえば頂上を過ぎた辺りで一度ターンしてもらえればダイヤモンドヘッド頂上のさらに高い背後から頂上ごとワイキキビーチが観れたんだろうなと思います。
つまり他のダイヤモンドヘッド登頂ツアーでよく見るワイキキビーチを見下ろした写真を、さらに高い所から頂上ごと見下ろせる優越感があるかもしれません。
英語が堪能な方は交渉してみて下さい。

飛行中ずっと話し続けている陽気でかわいい女性パイロットでした。
時期的な天候の悪さを差し引いても総じて超おすすめです。

I decided to go skydiving, but as I was being lifted higher and higher into the sky, I felt a rush of excitement. I've never done bungee jumping because it's terrifying to jump alone, but with skydiving, the instructor is right behind you controlling everything, so I felt safe participating! We boarded the helicopter in small groups and off we went into the sky! It gets chilly up there, so long sleeves and pants are a must.

When jumping out of the helicopter, some might feel a moment of fear, but I was fine. The free fall lasted about a minute, and while the wind pressure made it a bit hard to breathe, once the parachute opened, I was captivated by the beauty of the scenery. The instructor asked if it was okay to spin around, but I had told him to do it just once, so I enjoyed it gracefully! My husband, on the other hand, seemed to have spun quite a bit and ended up feeling a bit nauseous.

1分間ほどのフリーフォールは、風圧でちょっと息苦しさはありましたが、パラシュートが開いてからはもう景色の美しさに目を奪われました♡インストラクターが、クルクル回しても良いか？と聞いてきましたが、1回だけにしてと伝えてあったので、私は優雅に楽しみました！
が、主人はかなり回されたようで、酔ってしまっていましたね（笑）

でも、ビビってやらないよりは絶対やった方が良いと思います！

But once I was in the air, it felt amazing! Oh! If you wear glasses, be careful because they might fly off and get lost. I was so worried about that halfway through that I couldn't enjoy the scenery at all! LOL

Overall, it was amazing!!!

We gathered at 4:30 AM and headed towards the North Shore by bus. On the way, we watched a video about how to fly, and once we arrived, we signed a consent form. Since the explanation was in English, it's best to pay close attention.

They will ask if you want to have a handheld camera or a photographer, but both options cost over $100. If you don't say you don't want either at the beginning, you'll have to buy one after you jump.

The diving itself was fantastic. All the instructors were handsome, and it was a lot of fun.

We upgraded to the 14k sky dive and it was COMPLETELY worth it... staff is so friendly and the VELTRA tours charges the same price. Do yourself a favor and at least get a go pro video.
