You can dive with an instructor, which provides a sense of security. The temperature at high altitude is quite low, and I personally felt my excitement cool down. I was advised to wear light clothing, but I found that difficult. If you opt for video recording, a separate person will dive with you and give you poses and gestures from nearby. You can check the video later, and they will provide you with a USB containing photos and videos. The video is a few minutes long, but I think it was well edited and had a good background music track. After the dive, there is a separate post from the instructor where you can leave your feedback and tips.

This was my second time skydiving, and the weather was great, making it a fun experience. It was a bit more intense than last time with all the spinning, but it was interesting! It was a shame that I had someone who didn't understand Japanese at all, so communication was quite difficult.

This was my second time, and I was fortunate with the weather, allowing me to jump safely. I was spun around more intensely than the first time, almost to the point of feeling sick, but I managed (sweat). Skydiving is quite profound. I'm not sure if there will be a third time, but there's no other activity as exciting as this (laughs). I definitely recommend it!

I participated alone, but I had a great time! ☆

We went up, up, up in the Cessna...
I got a bit scared at the height, which was beyond my imagination. Haha.
Watching everyone completely panic as we flew (or fell) was quite something.
When it was my turn to jump, it felt so high that I couldn't really grasp it; it was like time had stopped.
This is a rare experience that you don't get to have often, so it was precious!
The tandem instructor was super enthusiastic and made it really fun! ^^

After the parachute opened, we started to spin, so if you have a weak vestibular system, you'll definitely feel nauseous.
I had already experienced this with parasailing, so I took motion sickness medication, but I still felt a bit queasy.
So definitely make sure to take motion sickness medication!

一人参加でしたが、十分楽しめました☆

想像以上の高さに途中で怯みました。笑
容赦なく飛んでいく（堕ちていく）のをみて
みなさん完全にプチパニックでした。

Skydiving was something I had always wanted to try at least once in my life. I'm glad I was able to experience it in Hawaii. The waiting time was shorter than I expected, which was nice. When it was time to jump, it happened so quickly that I didn't have time to feel nervous or scared. Once I was in the air, I was just amazed by the beautiful scenery. It ended in no time, but it was a lot of fun and a great experience.

What I liked was that my instructor was great, and even though I jumped early on, I was one of the last to land, which allowed me to take my time and enjoy the various views.

As advice, it gets quite cold until you reach altitude and until you come out from under the clouds after descending. I think it would be better to wear a long-sleeve T-shirt or something similar.

人生で一度はやってみたかったスカイダイビング。ハワイで経験できてよかったです。待ち時間も思っていたより短くて良かったです。いざ飛ぶ時はあっという間すぎて、緊張とか怖いとか思う暇もなかったです。飛んでからはとにかく綺麗な景色に感動するのみでした。あっという間に終わってしまいましたがとても楽しくていい経験になりました。
気に入ったところは、インストラクターのあたりが良かったのか最初の方に飛び降りたのに陸に着くのは１番最後くらいで、いろんな景色をゆっくり見ることができたこと。
アドバイスとしては、上空に向かうまでと、降りてから雲の下に出るまで結構寒いです。長袖のＴシャツとかを着て行った方がいいなと思いました

Due to bad weather, we had to change the date to the next day and ended up jumping from a lower altitude than planned, but despite that, it became a fun and great memory! The driver who guided us was funny and a nice person, and the instructor who jumped with us was also very energetic and enjoyable!

1st time in a helicopter. 1 more bucket list item checked off. The views were spectacular and we were very fortunate to have the weather & Mother Nature in general on our side that day. Our captain/pilot was great and very knowledgeable. He encouraged us to ask questions & answered them very well. I personally think the whole experience was worth every penny but then again, we were a party of 2. Either way, I would highly recommend Bule Hawaiian and this flight package in particular. Got to see everything they advertised. Aloha!

I participated with my wife and our 5-year-old child, making a total of three of us! Our child sat in the middle of the front row, my wife on the right, and I sat behind them. Due to the balance, it seems that changing seats is difficult.

On the day of the event, we went directly to the site by rental car since we were staying in the Ko Olina area. Shuttle service is only available from Honolulu, so if you're coming from other areas, you'll need to use a taxi or rental car.

I was worried that our child might be scared, but since we were in the middle seat, there were no issues. It was indeed very cold during the flight, so measures are necessary. We brought ultra-light down jackets, but my wife still looked cold.

As long as your camera has a strap, it’s fine! The staff lent us a mobile holder for free, but it’s the type that goes in a waterproof bag, which distorts the images from your mobile camera. If possible, I recommend purchasing a wrist strap in advance.

Perhaps because we booked through VERTRA, a brother who speaks fluent Japanese was our pilot! It was a lot of fun, and my wife and child, who don’t speak English, also enjoyed it! I heard that my wife is Japanese!

The staff were very friendly, and we had a great time throughout. The view from the helicopter was truly spectacular, and it was definitely the right choice to go without doors!

I recommend that those who are prone to motion sickness do some research and take precautions before flying. Also, the wind is very strong and cold, so please make sure to prepare for that!

前の席の真ん中に子供、右側に妻後ろに私が座る形となりました。バランスの関係で座席変更は難しいみたいです。

当日はコオリナ地区に宿泊していた為レンタカーにて直接現地入りしました。送迎はホノルルからしかない為、他の地区からはタクシーやレンタカーでの移動となります。

当日は子供が怖がらないか心配でしたが真ん中席だった為問題なし、フライト中はやはり非常に寒い為対策が必要です。我々はウルトラライトダウンを持参しましたが妻はそれでも寒そうでした。

カメラはストラップが付いていればOK！携帯用のホルダーはタダでスタッフの方々が貸してくれましたが水中でも使えるようなビニールに入れるタイプなのでせっかくの携帯カメラの画像が歪んでしまいます。可能なら事前に手首につかれるハンドストラップを購入をお勧めします。

こちらのVERTRAからの予約だったからか日本語ペラペラのお兄さんがパイロットを担当してくれました！
とても楽しく、英語が話せない妻と子供も楽しめました！！奥さんが日本人なんだとか！

スタッフの方々は非常にフレンドリーで終始楽しい時間を過ごせました。ヘリコプターからの景色は本当に絶景でやはりこちらのドアなしで正解でした！！

一つだけ、、、妻が乗り物に弱く、途中酔ってしまいスタッフの皆さんに大変ご迷惑をおかけしました、、、。乗り物に弱い方は少し検証、対策をしてからのフライトをお勧めします。また風は非常に強く寒いのでこちらの対策をしっかりして下さい！！

I had wanted to go skydiving for a long time, but I never had the chance until this trip to Hawaii, which I was looking forward to the most.

On this day, I boarded the first Cessna and went diving. I didn't feel scared at all (though it may vary from person to person). While ascending, I looked for whales in the ocean (they can sometimes be seen from December to April). As the Cessna slowed down and I felt a gentle floating sensation, the instructor pushed me out of the plane, making the exit feel natural and pleasant.

Once outside, I experienced an incredible feeling unlike anything I had ever felt before.

The only downside was that the wind was strong that day, and we didn't reach our target altitude. Of course, I didn't realize this until I was refunded, which was a bit disappointing.

If I have the opportunity to go skydiving again in the future, I would love to do it as many times as possible, and I hope that one day I can jump on my own.

　前々からスカイダイビングしたいとは思っていたものの中々できるチャンスがなく、今回のハワイ旅行ではこれを一番楽しみにしていました。

もちろんそんなことは自分で気づくはずもなく、返金されて初めて気づいたのですがちょっとがっかり。

　これから先もスカイダイビングできる機会があれば何度でもしたいし、いつか自分で飛べる日が来たらいいなと思いました。

I parked the rental car at Hilo Airport and took a helicopter from there. The weather was decent, and I could see the coastline well from above. The eruption of Kilauea volcano has calmed down, and I couldn't observe any lava flows. I could see some smoke and part of the crater was glowing red. I imagine that during periods of active volcanic activity, it must have been quite impressive. From above, I could clearly understand the history of eruptions on the Big Island through the spread of lava and the distribution of vegetation. It was about a 45-minute tour, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I would like to experience it again during a time of active eruptions.

I signed up for skydiving on a whim. Since we gathered at 4:50 AM, I wasn't too scared due to my sleepiness. Haha. Also, the moment we jumped, we were pushed out quite forcefully, so there wasn't really time to be scared, which was nice. It was a strange feeling without the typical stomach drop you get on roller coasters. People who have never jumped ask me if it was scary, but the only scary part was right before the jump. For those who are considering skydiving, I recommend just signing up without overthinking it!

朝4時50分集合だったため、眠気のお陰で
そこまで怖さはありませんでした。笑
そして飛ぶ瞬間も割とぐいぐい押されるので怖がっているヒマはなかったのもよかったです。

The entire experience was awesome. Nice building at the helipad with merchandise and restrooms if you need them. The pre-flight instructions and guidance upon loading/unloading was great with a photo op post-flight in front of the helicopter. The pilot made us feel safe the entire time. I get motion sickness on boats and was a little worried but no issues at all (I took a ginger pill but not sure it was needed as it felt very steady). Take photos/videos on the ride but be sure to just appreciate it with your own eyes too because it’s really amazing! Don’t hesitate to go, it’s worth the extra money vs. other excursions. FYI - this was a review from a rainy/cloudy day...I can’t imagine what it must look like with a nice sunny/clear sky!

I forgot that tipping is a culture in America! In addition to the above fees, you will need to pay separately:
- $20 for the photographer
- $20 for the instructor
- $10 for the driver for the round trip

I thought it would be cheaper than skydiving in Japan, but in the end, it wasn't that cheap.

The meeting time for Japanese participants was very early, around 4 AM. The Koreans and Americans had later times than us. Is it because we are diligent Japanese that the meeting time is set this way? It was tough since the meeting time was so early that I had no energy to do anything after getting home, which was around 1 PM.

The diving itself was fun, but I was worried because the instructor only provided casual guidance.

日本人の集合時間はとても早いので、集合時間は4時台でした。
韓国人やアメリカ人などは私たちより後の時間でした。
律儀な日本人だから、この時間設定なのでしょうか…集合時間がとても早いので、帰宅してから動く体力もなく、辛かったです。帰宅は13時頃。

ダイビング自体は楽しいですが、インストラクターがテキトーな指導しかしてくれなかったので心配でした。

Our driver Scottie from Temptation Tours was the best I've ever seen. Kept us engaged the whole ride. Knew everything about the island, people, history. Knew all of the best places to stop, where all of the good and bad bathrooms were down to the minute. Told us when the drive by pic was coming up so that we knew to get our phones/camera ready. Stopped multiple times and took the best video and pics of not only us but something cool on the stop. The wraps at lunch were superb. The captain's chairs in the van were perfect. Flying back with Troy from Maui Air was just as incredible. He played cool music and the ride was smooth. Saw a bunch of the falls and even played a little "chase and ride along" a friend he spotted in an ultralight. Highly recommend this combo. We were back at the hotel by early afternoon! Veltra Tours made it so easy and kept us up to date via email during our trip.

I rode in a helicopter for the first time. The day before, when I arrived at Hilo Airport, I went to Lobby 2 to reconfirm my reservation and check in, where I was able to complete part of the check-in process, including a weight measurement. On the day of the flight, after about ten minutes of instruction, we headed to the helipad. The staff were polite and efficient. I thought I might get motion sickness, but the pilot was skilled, and it was very comfortable. It was indeed cold up in the air, and combined with the wind, there was a bit of light rain, so a jacket is essential. However, I was amazed to see the heat from the crater and the gently undulating red lava, wondering how easily one can feel nature like this! The English instructions were clear and explained point by point, and since we all wore headsets, we could chat together. At first, I was nervous in many ways, but I felt like I could experience the nature of the Big Island of Hawaii, seeing Hilo city from above and confirming the traces of lava flows from various eras all at once, which you can't feel from the ground.

初めてヘリコプターに乗りました。前日、ヒロ空港に着くと同時に、予約の再確認とチェックイン場所確認でロビー２に行きましたが、そこで体重測定等一部チェックインできました。当日は１０分ぐらいのインストラクションの後、ヘリポートへ。スタッフも丁寧で、手際が良かったです。乗り物酔いするかと思いましたが、操縦が上手なのかとても快適でした。上空はやはり寒く、風と相まって小雨も混じってきたので、上着は必須です。しかし、火口の熱気や、タプタプ波打つ赤いlavaが見られて、こんなに簡単に自然を感じられるものか！？と感動しました。英語は丁寧にポイントごとに説明してくれて、ヘッドセットをつけていて全員でおしゃべりできるので、グループで体験すれば意味わかった人が日本語で話すことでみんなで共有出来て良いと思います。最初はいろんな意味で緊張しましたが、ヒロの街を一望出来て、いろいろな年代の溶岩の流れた跡を一目で確認できて、地上からは感じられないハワイ島の自然を体感できたような気がします。

My 9:30 reservation was canceled due to a flight cancellation, and when I changed it to 10:30, that flight was also canceled... I was asked if it was okay to change to 14:30, but I could only go on a short course, so I reluctantly said yes! The flight wasn't as scary as I thought, which was good, but... they circled around to show us the red spots of the volcano, and I got motion sickness (T ^ T). The seat behind me had no door, so it was windy and cold... It really depends on the weather...

This was my second time skydiving, and it was just as amazing as the first! Since I knew what to expect, I felt a bit more excitement than during my first jump. On the day of the jump, the weather was bad in the morning, with a downpour and it was cold, but after waiting, we were able to jump. While ascending in the helicopter, I saw a big rainbow, and it made the rain worth it. It was a really great experience! I was completely fine during my first jump, but this time I felt a bit nauseous, so I wished I had brought some motion sickness medication.

どうやるか分かってる為、ドキドキ感は1回目よりあった気がきます。
当日朝天気が悪く、スコールが降り寒かったのですが、待ちに待って、飛ぶ事ができました。
ヘリ？で登ってるときに、おっきい虹が見れて雨が降った甲斐があったなーと、、
とても、いい体験になりました！
私は一回目は全然平気だったのですが、今回少し酔った気がしたので酔い止めあったらよかったなと思いました。
