Since it was early in the morning, the weather was clear, and the water was beautiful, I was able to see various types of fish. Four years ago, I encountered sea turtles and seals in the same spot, but unfortunately, I didn't see them this time.

However, the couple who guided us were great; the husband spoke Japanese well and pointed out interesting fish, saying things like, "Look, there's ●●!" which made it really enjoyable. At one point, when some participants got tired, the wife went back to the shore with them, and when I got too caught up in taking photos and was left behind, they noticed and helped me catch up. Their consideration for everyone to have a good time was very much appreciated.

During the car ride to and from the location, they shared a lot of information, which was really fun.

I tried to take photos with my Google Pixel 7 Pro in a waterproof case, but about 80% of them turned out blurry, so I regretted not bringing my GoPro. However, the guide uploaded some photos to Facebook, which I was able to download for free! I felt grateful to have beautiful photos capturing the scenes I experienced.

でも、ご夫婦でガイドをされていて、旦那さんも日本語が上手で、面白い魚がいると「●●がいるよー」と声をかけてくれてとっても楽しめました。途中で疲れた方は奥様と一緒に先に岸に戻って・・といったことや、撮影に夢中になってみんなに置いてかれている私を見つけて引っ張って行ってくれたりと、参加者みんなが楽しめるような気遣いもとっても感じました。
行き帰りの車の中でもいろんな情報を教えてくれて、とっても楽しかったです。

Google Pixel 7Proを防水スマホケースに入れて撮影を試みましたが、8割がたピンボケしていたのでやっぱりGoPro持っていけばよかったと思いました。ただ、ガイドさんが撮影した写真をいくつかFacebookに上げてくれているので、それをDLさせていただきました（無料です）！自分がみた光景をきれいな写真に残せている気分でありがたかったです。

This time I was with my 3.5-year-old, and thanks to the flippers, they were able to swim smoothly! The kids said this trip was the most fun they've ever had, and it seems they really enjoyed jumping off the boat. The hamburger was hearty with a strong meat flavor, large, satisfying, and delicious—I was very pleased! The drinks were all-you-can-drink, and the kids loved the warm cocoa after coming out of the sea. The staff were all wonderful, and the beach volleyball and conversations were fantastic. Thank you so much!!!!

We are SO glad we booked this tour with Iruka; we had an absolutely incredible time with tour guides Trevor, Diego and Tamaya (so sorry if I'm misspelling your names or missing anyone) who were so knowledgable and accommodating. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to the Big Island; a bunch of the rays got so close to us, we felt super safe and loved the hot chocolate afterwards!

Really well organised activity with Kaimana Tours. Our driver Koa was excellent, providing lots of insights to the surroundings during our drive there. Pickup was on time, in a comfortable spacious van. We arrived and were first in line to get tickets which was simple and organised. The snorkeling gear was great, both sizing and quality for what we needed. I’d recommend going on the 6am pickup, as by the time we left at 11, it was getting really busy and there were not many places with shade. Kaimana offer umbrellas & chairs for hire too.

The highlight of our trip. The ride over, while lengthy due to the fires in Lahaina, was great. The captain was funny, his name was Turtle. We saw dolphins and the snorkeling on Lanai was awesome. The trip was worth the cost, without even taking in to consideration the great lunch we were served. That chicken is amazing. You also get to visit a pretty exclusive beach, it’s shared with the Four Seasons Lanai, that is nice because your group is almost all the only people out there. Next trip we will definitely do this, or a trip to Molokini Crater. Either way, we will definitely use Trilogy again. They are fantastic.

I was able to see about 3 turtles and an octopus. They don’t go too far out and it’s a pretty quick trip if you want to see some sea life and also do other things with your day. The catamaran ride was smooth and I enjoyed the short ride. Had a cocktail on our way back. Crew was friendly and couldn’t ask for a better time. Oh the music was great too!!

I made a reservation for the morning session, which lasts about four hours in total. First, be aware that there is hardly any parking available for the rental cars. If you can't find a spot, you might have to park on the street along the road. (When I left after the morning session, there were cars parked all along both sides of the road.)

There were some people who struggled to find parking and were running late, but they waited for them, so I don't think you'll be left behind. However, it might be a good idea to call if you happen to be late.

As for what to bring, you'll need a swimsuit, sunscreen, and towels. You can go snorkeling, but be careful not to step on the coral, as it can cause injuries. It would be reassuring to have some kind of water shoes for the ocean.

For stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and kayaking, it's first come, first served, and there are plenty of them available, so just let the staff know when you want to go out. During this time of year, the tide was high, so we couldn't see the sandbar, but the water was shallow enough for beginners, which I thought was nice.

On the way to and from the boat, we also got to experience the local excitement of Hawaii, which was really fun! Mahalo!

The shuttle service to and from the hotel made it easy to get around, and I was able to receive explanations about tourist spots and snorkeling in Japanese, allowing me to enjoy the experience with peace of mind! The hamburgers we had on the boat were truly delicious... After getting into the water, it gets cold, so I think it's a good idea to prepare something to wear over your swimsuit (like a rash guard), hot water, a bath towel, and a change of clothes for after disembarking! I participated in a tour with two friends. Due to the rainy season in October, the sandbar was deeper than I expected (about chest height), but we were able to fully enjoy the beautiful scenery of the white sandy area while playing with floaties. It was my first experience with snorkeling, and I wasn't very good at swimming, which made me anxious. However, wearing a life jacket made me feel safe, and there was a clear pre-lecture, practice time in shallow water, and several guides watching over us, so the support system was sufficient. It was scary to go deeper than I imagined (maybe due to the rainy season?), but while desperately keeping up, I was able to see coral and sea turtles, making it a valuable experience. We encountered sea turtles several times on the way to and from the tour, allowing us to feel the nature of Hawaii. The light snack of spam onigiri was also delicious. This was my third time participating. I usually can't see the sandbar. If it's waist-deep, that's better. During the accompanying snorkeling, I was able to see fish, corals, and turtles. The stand-up paddleboarding felt free with two people sharing one board, and I enjoyed it. This time, the weather was nice and not cold, but last time the bus was cold and it was quite uncomfortable. A dry towel and something to wear over are essentials.

I only understand a little English, but when it comes to snorkeling, just communicate your fin size in US sizes, and once you're in the water, you can follow the staff without any issues. There were many sea turtles and beautiful fish!

On the boat, just sit back and enjoy without doing anything dangerous! The staff was very kind, providing cold water as a service and being attentive to the passengers, which made the experience very enjoyable.

We always felt safe. The support was great. We were there with our 2 sons (4 and 11 years old). Everything worked great and everyone was very attentive. We were able to enjoy it completely as a family. Seeing the manta rays was an unforgettable experience.

I participated with my 2-year-old and 4-year-old children. The kids were able to see manta rays while my husband and I took turns. The conditions seemed good, and we were able to see more than five manta rays up close. I took some motion sickness medication just in case, but the kids didn't get seasick at all and had a great time. Thank you for taking photos with the sunset from the boat and for the hot chocolate. I brought warm clothing, so I wasn't cold at all, and everything was fine. I will definitely go again when I visit the Big Island! ♡

２歳と4歳の子供達と一緒に参加しました。
子供達は船上から、私と主人は交代でマンタを見せていただきました。
コンディションも良かったようで、間近に5枚以上のマンタを見る事ができました。
酔い止めは一応飲みましたが、子供達も全く酔う事なく、楽しめました。
船上から夕日と一緒に記念撮影していただいたり、ホットチョコレートをいただいたりありがとうございました。
防寒着も持って行ったので寒くもなく、大丈夫でした(^^)
またハワイ島に行った際には絶対行きますね♡
