After seeing off my parents and beloved dog, I returned to Hawaii for the first time in 10 years. I wanted to participate in this tour to enjoy snorkeling, which my active father loved. The crew mentioned, "You all are very lucky because the weather wasn't good until yesterday!" and we were indeed able to see the beautifully clear blue beach, which was amazing!

We found a net in the water and started playing volleyball with a friend, and soon Americans joined us. They cheered us on with "NICE!" when we did well and "Nice try!" when we made mistakes, allowing us to share a fun time together.

As a side note... it was fascinating how, just a few minutes after meeting each other without knowing names, we could all chase the same ball and celebrate together as a team, regardless of age or nationality. It made me wonder why wars happen.

After playing in the beautiful sea, the captain grilled delicious hamburgers for us! Thank you for the treat. A cute Japanese crew member (sorry, I forgot her name) provided very polite explanations, which made it easy to enjoy the experience. Thank you! I would love to participate again if the opportunity arises.

海水の中に張られたネットを見つけ、友人とふたりでバレーボールを始めたら、すぐにアメリカ人の人たちが参加。

余談ですが・・・
初めて会う、お互い名前も知らない人同士が、たった数分後にはひとつのボールを追いかけて年齢や国籍に関係なくチームとして共に喜び、称えあう・・・こんなことができるのに、なぜ戦争は起こるのだろう・・・と思ってしまいました。

美しい海でさんざん遊んだ後は、キャプテンが美味しいハンバーガーを焼いてくれました！ごちそうさまでした。
日本人クルーのかわいい女性（名前忘れてごめんなさい）、とても丁寧な説明で安心して楽しむことができました。ありがとう！
また機会があれば参加したいと思います。

Due to maintenance at Dolphin Middle School's port, I was upgraded to Dolphin University for free and participated.

After seeing sea turtles and enjoying marine activities, we went to see the dolphins. Unfortunately, I couldn't see the dolphins underwater, but I was able to see many dolphins swimming close to the boat in beautiful weather, which was a valuable experience.

If you are prone to seasickness, taking motion sickness medication is a must.

I had a great time, and I would like to join another tour next time!

The pickup location and the bus landmark that was communicated in advance were easy to understand. There were staff members who could speak Japanese, so I didn't have any trouble. I enjoyed multiple activities, and there was a live performance on the boat, which was a lot of fun.

Since it was mentioned in the notes that the boat was cashless, I only brought my card and couldn't pay a tip. All the staff were friendly and provided great service with smiles, so I regret not bringing a little cash.

The temperature setting on the bus was quite low, so it was really cold on the way back. I should have brought an extra bath towel or a light jacket as a precaution.

ピックアップしてくれる場所も、あらかじめ連絡のあったバスの目印も分かりやすかったです。
日本語対応可能なスタッフがいたので、困ることなかったです。
複数アクティビティも楽しめるし、船上では生LIVEもあり、とても楽しかったです。

バスの温度設定がかなり低いため、帰りは本当に寒かったので、バスタオルを1枚余計に持参するとか、薄手の上着を持参する等、対策すればよかったです。

I felt secure participating in the tour thanks to the Japanese guides, Chieko and Dan. We were able to enter without waiting in line, which was stress-free thanks to their arrangements.

The snorkeling lasted about an hour in Hanauma Bay, where we could see many tropical fish, and they provided guidance on what to look for, making it efficient considering the physical exertion. We were lucky to see a Hawaiian monk seal napping on the beach. It would have been great to see a honu as well. Near the entrance to the bay, we also spotted a mongoose.

The swim suit is optional, but I was glad I rented one. The water was unexpectedly cold, and during snorkeling, I bumped my stomach against a rock; if I hadn't been wearing it, I might have gotten injured.

It's reassuring that even small children or those who may have concerns about their stamina can retire midway and return to shore.

日本語ガイドのチエコさんとダンさんで安心してツアーに参加できました。入場もお二人の枠のお陰で並ばずに入ることができてストレスがありません。
シュノーケリングは約1時間、ハナウマ湾内を回るのですが、沢山の熱帯魚が見られるし、これというものを教えてくれるので体力消耗を考えると効率が良いです。海岸ではハワイアンモンクシールもお昼寝してて運が良かったです。あとはホヌに会えれば良かったですね。湾への入り口近くではマングースも見ました。
スイムスーツはオプションですが借りて良かったです。水が思いの外冷たいのと、シュノーケリング中に一回、岩にお腹が当たったのですが、着用してなければもしかして怪我したかも知れません。
小さなお子さんや体力に不安のある方でも途中でリタイアして岸に上がれるので安心です。

Our meeting was at 7:30 AM, and when we arrived, there were many participants gathered, which really got us excited. Once we reached Molokini Island, we quickly went snorkeling. It was the clearest water I've ever swum in (though I don't have that much experience). My partner was snorkeling for the first time, but they gradually got the hang of it, and we both enjoyed watching the fish together. At the second spot, we were thrilled to encounter a sea turtle swimming by. Eating a hamburger on the boat while battling the wind was also a great memory. Even in August, I felt a bit cold towards the end of our swim, but it wasn't cold enough to need to borrow a wetsuit. It was a tour that was definitely enjoyable for snorkeling beginners!

About 25 years ago, I remember there were many yellow fish in shallow waters up to my knees, but now it seems that due to environmental protection and restrictions from the COVID-19 pandemic, things have become stricter, and it was different from my memories of Hanauma Bay.

Definitely recommend this activity!
I went with my mom, she does not know how to swim or is comfortable with the ocean, but somehow she managed to experience the sandbar and actually got in the water. This was a huge deal for her and it helped tide was low so she felt more comfortable.
Crew was amazing and engaged with all of us on tour! They helped those in need and made us all feel welcomed.
We would definitely book this tour again and bring our family with us next time!

Thank you guys! My mom wouldn’t stop talking about how much fun she had and how you guys made her feel safe despite her fear of water.

This boat wasn’t overcrowded like the calypso which I appreciated. I would go again, the only thing I would have liked was to go to two locations but that wasn’t in their program, which I chose. Overall great day!!

First of all, the meeting place was hard to find! I think that should be improved.
The tour was in August, and while it was fine until we boarded the boat, upon arrival, there was no land in sight, and it was quite deep. My daughter and grandparents couldn't touch the bottom at all and were nearly drowning.
Also, there was hardly any snorkeling. There were no fish at all. The sea was deep and there were waves, so it was dangerous for shorter individuals (laughs).
Kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding were somewhat enjoyable, but those two activities alone were too much time to fill.
Regarding the day I went, it was quite a disappointing tour.

Even though it was sunny in Waikiki, as we made our way to the sandbar, the clouds started to gather and it rained lightly at the end. However, we were able to encounter sea turtles, and the snorkeling allowed us to see the fish beautifully, so I was satisfied. It was also fun to be surrounded by movie filming locations, and the explanations were well done.

I participated because it was cheaper than similar tours. It was a snorkeling trip off the coast of the hotels in Waikiki. We saw as many as five sea turtles up close. Since it wasn't a coral reef, there were fewer fish. The catamaran cruise while listening to music was the best. There were only foreigners, and I didn't understand English, but it was totally fine. One drink was free. I was worried about getting to the location, so I reserved a round-trip taxi at JCB Plaza, and it was a flat rate of $22 one way from Sheraton Waikiki, including tips. It's a good idea to check the location of pier D on the map provided by the tour when you make your reservation.

同じようなツアーの中でも安かったので参加しました。ワイキキのホテル群の沖合でのシュノーケリングでした。海亀は間近で見られたものを含めて5匹もいました。サンゴ礁では無いのでお魚は少なめです。音楽を聞きながらのカタマランでのクルーズは最高でした。外国人ばかりで英語はわからなかったけど全然OKでした。アルコールは1杯タダでした。現地までの移動が不安だったのでJCBプラザで往復のタクシーを予約してシェラトンカイウラニからチップ込み定額片道22ドルでした。集合場所のpierDの場所は予約時にツアーから届く埠頭の地図で確認しておくと良いです。

I participated with my fifth-grade son.

I felt reassured because the guide was a Japanese woman. There was also a local staff member who spoke a little Japanese, and they were very kind. You could easily recognize them by their tall stature and distinctive hat.

On the way from the port to the sandbar, we enjoyed drinks and donuts while listening to the relaxed singing of a musician.

Once we arrived at the sandbar, we could do stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and snorkeling, and the local staff kindly taught us how to use the equipment. I could speak a little English, but even those who couldn't speak it were treated with care through gestures, so there was no need to worry. I think you can also do banana boat rides if you make a reservation, but since my child is small, we didn't do that this time.

On the way to the sandbar, a young boy in elementary school became unwell and collapsed, but the Japanese female staff responded appropriately, and there was also a nurse among the guests, so the boy recovered without any issues.

The staff's response and the activities were excellent!

As advice for those who will participate, I think it's a good idea to prepare a change of clothes, including underwear, because it can get quite cold after coming out of the sea while still in wet swimsuits.

There was a hot water tank (for drinking water) near where we could get drinks, and I was grateful to have warm water to drink since I was feeling cold. (*^_^*)

案内役の方が日本人女性だったので不安はありませんでした。現地のスタッフの中に片言で日本語を話してくれる方が居てとても親切でした。背が高く特徴のある帽子を被って居たのですぐに分かると思います。

港からサンドバーまではドリンクとドーナツのサービス、そしてミュージシャンのゆったりした歌声を聴きながらの移動でした。

サンドバーにつくとサップ、カヤック、シュノーケリングが出来るのですが、現地スタッフがとても親切に乗り方などを教えてくれました。私は少し英語を話せましたが、話せない方でも身振り手振りで丁寧に接して下さるので心配ありません。バナナボートも予約を入れれば出来るのだと思いますが、子供が小さいのもあり我が家は今回入れませんでした。

サンドバーに向かう時、小学生の男の子が具合が悪くなり倒れてしまいましたが、その時も日本人女性のスタッフが適切に対応されていて、お客さんの中に看護師さんも居たので男の子も回復し事なきを得ました。

スタッフの対応とアクティビティの内容についてははなまるでしたよ！

これから参加する方へのアドバイスとしては海から上がった後、濡れた水着のままだと結構冷えるので、下着を含めた着替えを1セット用意しておくと安心だと思います。

ドリンクをもらえるところの側にお湯が出るタンク（飲料水用）があって、私は体が冷えてしんどかったので温かいお湯が飲めたのは有り難かったです(*^_^*)

Can't say enough good things about the day with captain Turtle and crew. The crew was so attentive and fun. The breakfast and coffee that was served on way out to island was delicious. What really impressed me was that the crew remembered everyone by name thru out trip. The island of Lanai was as beautiful as the pictures. On a personal note I'd want to thank the crew especially Steve. I had an accident in the water and had to be taken to hospital. Steve went with my family and never left. Fortunately I was able to travel back and take boat home with captain Turtle. The boat and crew were amazing. If you want to book a trip to Lanai I strongly recommend Trilogy with captain Turtle.

Since we had small children (6 years old), I was worried about whether they would be scared or cause any trouble, but Ken, a Japanese guide, was very kind to us throughout the experience, which turned out to be incredibly valuable. Both kids keep saying, "We saw dolphins! We swam with turtles!" as their top memories from Hawaii. We were able to see many dolphin jumps, and we swam so close to the turtles that it was hard to avoid getting too close. The children were thrilled and eagerly put on their goggles to dive into the sea from the boat, completely disregarding their parents' worries. Before joining the tour, I had some anxiety about bringing the kids, but I'm really glad we participated! Thank you very much for your support. The kids said, "We want to go again!" so we will definitely return! Thank you in advance.

This couple is very bright, charming, and wonderful, and they guide together. They know everything about Hanauma Bay, making entry very smooth. They are aware of where the fish are and where sea turtles might come, so we were able to see many colorful fish. When I went before, I only had transportation and went on my own, so I couldn't visit many fish spots, but this time I had a lot of fun. When you're on your own, you can get swept away or feel anxious, but even if you get separated, they stay close and guide you, which gives you a sense of security. We swam from one end of the bay to the other. Even in August, the sea is a bit cold, so I borrowed a wetsuit to avoid getting hurt by the coral. It was great that I could rent one on the spot without a reservation. I think this tour will satisfy both small children and adults. Since it's an early morning tour, we returned to the hotel around 10:30, allowing us to spend the day meaningfully. I highly recommend it!

ご夫妻２人でガイドをされているとっても明るくてチャーミングで素敵なご夫妻です。ハナウマ湾の事を知り尽くしているため入場するのもとてもスムーズです。お魚がいる場所やウミガメが来そうな場所も把握されているため沢山のカラフルな魚を見る事が出来ました。以前行った時は送迎のみで個人で行ったためあまり魚のいる場所に行けませんでしたが今回はとても楽しめました。個人だと流されてしまったり不安がありますが、はぐれてしまっても前後についていてくれるため、こっちだよーと引っ張ってくれて安心感が違います。湾の端から端まで泳ぎました。8月でも少し海が冷たいため、そして珊瑚で怪我をしないためウエットスーツを借りました。予約しなくてもその場で借りることができ良かったです。小さなお子さんも大人も大満足のツアーだと思います。朝早いためホテルに10時半くらいに戻って来ますので一日を有意義に過ごせます。おすすめです！

This was a great experience! Alot of activities for families to do. You can go snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding or just relax on the sandbar. All the equipment was provided. The staff was super helpful and friendly. We would definitely do this again.

After an hour's ride on the shuttle bus from Waikiki, we boarded a boat from a quiet harbor, away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. However, perhaps due to the recent typhoon, the weather was unfortunately rainy, and the child who joined us immediately wanted to go home as soon as we got off the bus and were hit by a sudden downpour.

Despite the weather, as we received donuts and approached the sandbar with the cheerful staff's live performance, the weather improved a bit. By the time we enjoyed two hours of snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, and sea kayaking, the child was having a great time, creating fun memories. The sea was a bit high tide, which was a mix-up with the tides, but it was still great to enjoy the water activities. I would like to try again during low tide when the weather is nice.

Lastly, I left something on the return shuttle bus, but thanks to the kind response from the local company and the driver, it was returned to me the same day. I'm grateful.

ワイキキから1時間送迎バスにゆられ、ワイキキの喧騒から離れ静かな港まちから船に乗りました。
しかし、先日接近した台風の影響なのか、生憎の雨まじりのお天気、一緒に参加した子供は、バスを降りた途端のスコール的な雨で、もう帰りたいと言い出す始末。
そんな中の船出でしたが、ドーナツをもらって、陽気なスタッフの生演奏とともにサンドバーに近づいていくと、お天気も少し回復。
シュノーケリングにSUPにシーカヤックに2時間満喫する頃には、子供もおおはしゃぎの楽しい思い出になりました。
海は満潮と干潮を間違えて、やや満潮気味でしたが、それはそれで海のアクティビティを満喫できてよかったです。次はお天気のよい干潮時に挑戦してみたいです。

最後に、帰りの送迎バスに忘れ物をしてしまったのですが、現地の会社とドライバーの親切な対応でその日のうちに戻ってきました。感謝

他の海とはまた違った体験でした。
