Mommy daughter trip was the best. This trip is perfect for kids. Plenty of excitement and they move at their own pace. She loved swimming at the Sandbar and watching the sea turtles. We took photos and slashed around. The best was the snorkeling. It was easy for her to learn with practice at the Sandbar. The hot chocolate and Funyuns chips were delicious. Highly recommend for kids of all ages.

We participated as a family. During snorkeling, we were able to see the coral reefs and fish up close. We also rode kayaks together as a family, and although it was optional, we got to experience the banana boat, which made the kids very happy. We created wonderful memories as a family and would like to participate again next time.

We were the only Asian participants.

You will receive an email asking for signatures regarding participation in advance, so make sure to fill it out for all participants. We attended as a pair, but I forgot to fill out one person's information, so we had to do it on the day of the event.

Also, at the meeting point, it seems that another tour group gathers at the same time, so it's safer to confirm that you are in the right group. (At first, we went to where people were gathering, and since our names weren't called, we confirmed and found out it was a different tour.)

It was okay not to speak English. I couldn't catch most of what was said because it was fast, but the staff were cheerful and kind, so it worked out.

Sunscreen is available on the ship, so it's fine if you forget it. You shouldn't expect much from breakfast. The cookies were very delicious.

The service was good, but the sea wasn't as beautiful as I expected, so I give it 4 stars.

I participated with my 7-year-old child. I was worried about seasickness, but the boat didn't sway much, and since it was only about a 15-minute ride, there was no problem at all.

The sandbar had knee-deep seawater, which was disappointing, but the snorkeling was the best! We enjoyed it even more than Hanauma. It was great to see many sea turtles, from large ones to small baby turtles. We all talked about how we wish we had more time for snorkeling...

It's better not to expect shallow waters.

There were plenty of activities, so it was fun. The staff provided explanations in Japanese, live performances, and meals, which made the experience very fulfilling.

The seating is assigned, and you leave your belongings in that space when going to the sea. In case of theft, there are surveillance cameras. If you're concerned, it's better to secure your belongings with a lock.

One slight disappointment was that I rode the banana boat with my spouse, and since we were together, we couldn't take a photo. When I asked if we could at least get a photo at the moment we boarded, they declined. I thought it would have been better not to do it if we couldn't capture the memory.

I forgot my sunglasses on the return bus, and when I contacted the support center, they delivered them to my hotel. They also provided assistance in Japanese.

アクティブティが沢山あったので楽しかったです。
スタッフの方も日本語の説明や、生の演奏、食事もあったのでとても充実はしました。

席は決まっていて、荷物はそのスペースに置いて海に行きます。
万が一、盗まれた場合は監視カメラがあるそうです。不安な方は荷物に鍵を付けた方がいいです。

少し残念なのが、バナナボートに乗ったんですが。夫婦で乗ってしまったら撮れないので、乗る瞬間だけでも、写真頼めないですかと言ったら、断られました。写真に残らないなら、やらなければ良かったと思いました。

帰りのバスにサングラスを忘れて、サポートセンターに問い合わせたら、ホテルまで届けにきてくれました。こちらも日本語対応ありました。

I participated in a snorkeling tour. It started with being picked up at the hotel, and everything went smoothly, allowing me to enjoy snorkeling at Hanauma Bay comfortably.

There were about 10 participants, and having two guides who spoke Japanese made me feel at ease.

The view at Hanauma Bay was amazing. Compared to the coral reefs in Japan (like Okinawa), the fish swimming there were larger and more dynamic.

Scheduled this event as a large group visiting HI for the first time. We all had a blast. The boat ride to the snorkeling locations was fun. We saw a lot of fish and a few sea turtles. The waters are choppy, so if your prone to motion sickness, come prepared. All snorkel gear was provided. Overall, a fun experience.

very disappointed! $140 is way too much. We also paid extra $20 for lunch - and only got a sandwich with 2 pieces of pineapple - I mean this is a SNACK not a Lunch actually..

We were also only allowed to kayak in a certain tiny room. So we basically drove in circles and could not explor the beautiful sandbar - wow. So It would be cheaper if we had rent the kayak by our own!!

Too expensive - would rather pay the half of the price or less, but definitely not more!

It was an amazing experience on the 5 hour tour with SeaQuest. We got to see a lot of diverse marine life while snorkeling in the reefs and got a tour of the lava tubes and caves along the way. Would highly recommend! Our guide and crew were great.

It was really cold. I couldn't stay in the sea for even five minutes. The wind was strong, and the weather wasn't good.
I heard from relatives in Kaneohe that summer weather has a cycle, and during our time, there were just a few days with a lot of wind, clouds, and showers.
It seems that the sandbar is not often visible; we couldn't see it at all this time. The water was up to my chest, and the waves were strong. When I got on the free kayak, I was swept away immediately, and it was scary.
If possible, I would like to make a reservation while checking the weather on-site.
The crew members were very kind and warm. My mother had a hard time with seasickness, but we are grateful for their heartfelt support.

Kayak and paddle boarding without the crowds!

Get on a large boat with about 30 to 40 people to enjoy 20 minutes of live music as it takes us to our destination near the sandbar, then get off the boat and swim over to 4 possible activities:
(1) snorkeling
(2) kayaking
(3) paddle boarding
(4) sunbathing on a floating platform

Lunch is a turkey/cheese croissant sandwich with chips and a drink. I had great fun doing both kayaking and paddle boarding but I didn't do snorkeling. Word of advice - swim fast to either paddle board or kayak otherwise you'll have to wait about an hour for one to be available (first come first serve). Ultimately, everyone had a chance to do all activities but whichever one you are most looking forward to doing - hit it first! NOTE: water is deep in most places so even though you are wearing a lifevest, your feet will not touch the ground - it's not dangerous as there's no heavy surf but I don't want non swimmers to be surprised or panic.

My father has difficulty seeing, and since it was at night, I was very worried. However, thanks to the person who corresponded with me via email beforehand and especially the support from Tamae on the day of the tour, my family, including my father, had an unforgettable experience that we will cherish forever.
From the moment I peered into the water, manta rays came to us in droves, and I was so excited! I was mesmerized by their graceful swimming. After the tour ended, our family couldn't stop talking about the manta rays.
I also can't forget the sunset we saw from the boat and the magical sky when I turned around while watching the manta rays.
There were many worries, but they provided solid support, so I hope those who are anxious will definitely consider joining.

The view was something else, let me tell. Cruising the coast and seeing the unique geographical features was amazing. I don't know I've ever seen anything like this. The host and crew was super informative and helpful. They even provided and took care of my GF who was starting to feel seasick. They were well-equipped to host everyone, not to mention that they were pretty entertaining and funny. I highly recommend!

We got the private boat and did the sandbar tour & I can’t recommend this enough! We played at the sandbar, toured the waters and got to see turtles & manta rays! Captain Jeff was helpful, fun & informative, the snacks were tasty and the boat was clean and in great condition. Do this tour!! You won’t regret it! It was the highlight of our trip and the best excursion I have ever done in Hawaii! My husband enjoyed it so much he wanted to do it again but we couldn’t book during the rest of our stay because they were sold out!.

This experience was perfect. The snorkeling over the coral and the incredible variety of fish was nothing short of amazing! That said my 18 and 13 year olds grew tried of it (sigh ) and chose to jump from the different levels of the boat into the water. (The highest level really is quite high!) The excursion was long enough for them to get tires of that and go back out for more snorkeling! The guides were great too. They provided some history behind what we were seeing ranging from the local traditions to the arrival of Captain Cook.
I couldn't recommend this trip more!!

The tide was high, so we mostly went snorkeling, but I was impressed by the beauty of the ocean and the large schools of fish.

It is located just a short boat ride from the port. The activity is divided into two parts: we first enjoyed stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) in shallow waters, and in the second half, we went snorkeling. I had imagined a sandy beach during low tide, but since we went during high tide, we paddled in shallow waters that were about knee-deep for adults. We let the little ones ride on a small boat float (as shown in the posted photos) and pulled them around for fun. However, the snorkeling part goes quite deep, so while we wore life jackets, it might be a bit challenging for children who are not accustomed to snorkeling. In the end, we put the kids on a ZAYAK, but it didn't provide the stability we expected. Nevertheless, there is a good chance of seeing sea turtles. It would have been better if they had provided a more stable see-through boat float for the kids. Also, the water temperature in the morning is a bit on the cooler side.

This was my first time participating in seven years, and this time I brought my children aged 2, 5, and 9. The parasol we rented couldn't be used due to strong winds. Well, that was the same as seven years ago.

I really wanted my 9-year-old son to succeed at snorkeling, but he got scared and gave up.

I think the shuttle service was around $45 seven years ago, but now the price is almost double.

Overall, I felt it wasn't suitable for families with small children, but since this is our family's situation, I will give it 4 stars.

The onboard music entertainment was great. However, I did not enjoy the banana boat and bumper tube.

Most of the crew was nice and friendly. When we signed up for this tour, the two activities my group and I were looking forward to were the Banana Boat and BUmper Tube. However, they ended up being the two activities we least enjoyed. Riders of these two activities are of various ages and the lack of consideration for that was disappointing. The woman that "drove" the boat sped off the from the boarding so fast that are necks jerked back so hard that we were sore the next day. During the ride, we tried to get her attention several timers to slow down because some of us were almost thrown off the boat.

I would recommend the sand bar trip to everyone coming to the island, from the minute you step onto the boat,the lovely food,fantastic crew,information and spotting the turtles and rays in the ocean.
My mum as mobility issues and the crew were always on hand to ask and offer help and assistance, Sasha and eggy ( William) I think went up and beyond, especially with photos and handing out snorkels etc.
Both mum and myself said it was the best trip of our holidays.
Keep doing what you are doing you are amazing.

The crew was friendly and very helpful, and even had a table reserved for us so that we could all sit together on the way out to the sandbar. The music was exceptional with professional musicians...ukulele and singing. The boat is big and holds a lot of people comfortably. When we got to the sandbar, we were a bit disappointed that they required everyone to wear a life jacket, and there was no deep water snorkeling. I have been out to this area a few years earlier with a different company that took us to a beautiful snorkel area that I had hyped up to my family, so it was a disappointment that his was not the same place. That is the only reason it is not the highest rating. But we soon got over it, and enjoyed a shallow snorkel, and found that the life jackets worked quite well for the shallow water adventure. The snorkel disappointment was made up for by the kayaks, sups, and volleyball play on the sandbar. The weather cooperated that day, and everyone had a blast. We would do it again, although not it was not really a snorkel boat. Many thanks to the staff and crew for all of their efforts.
