Until the day before, the weather on Oahu was not looking good, and I was very anxious, but it turned sunny with the tour pickup.
I was worried about the temperature and water temperature since I had a 7-year-old child with me, but both were warmer than I expected, and I didn't feel particularly cold. For those who are concerned, I think a surf top would be sufficient.

昨年は午前中、今回は午後のツアー。前回とは違う会社のツアーで、殆ど内容の違いはなかったのですが、時期が同じというのもあるのでしょうが、一番優遇されている位置にボートが停泊するとうたっていた割には、ボートからサンドバーまでの距離が遠かったように思いましたし、昨年よりも水位が高かったです。ランチの内容はかなりGOODです。マラサダも美味しかったです。スタッフのみなさんは、みんなを盛り上げようと、かなりテンション上げて頑張っていましたが、私的には、もう少し静かに、ゆったりと過ごしたかったな--。サンドバーで順番に撮っていただいた写真がHPにアップされていたのは、少々恥ずかしいけど、やっぱり嬉しいです。

We participated as a couple at the end of November 2010.

On this day, it was just us and another couple.

First, we received a brief explanation at the office. The documents were written in Japanese, so I think you can understand the important points by reading them (there were no staff members who spoke Japanese).

And off we go!!
A large rubber boat. So exciting.
As soon as we left the harbor and entered the sea, dolphins started chasing the boat.
There were quite a large number of them, close enough to touch.

After a while, the boat went into full speed mode.
It was incredibly fast, and it felt truly refreshing.
Occasionally, the captain would stop the boat and explain various landmarks (in English).
At the final destination, we snorkeled for about an hour and a half.
Afterward, we were served drinks, fruits, and snacks, and we all talked about what fish we saw.

Then we sped back again.
On the return trip, the captain also guided us through various landmarks.

We were welcomed by dolphins again and returned to the harbor, concluding the trip.

The boat was just so much fun♪
I highly recommend trying it!!!

いざ出発!!
大きなゴムボート。わくわく。
ハーバーから海に出ると、早速イルカがボートを追いかけてきました。
結構な大群で、もう触れる位の距離です。

しばらくするとボートが本気モードで突っ走ります。
ものすごいスピードで、本当に気分爽快です。
ときどきボートを止めて、各名所をキャプテンが説明をしてくれます。（英語）
最終目的地で一時間半位のシュノーケリングをします。
終了後、ドリンク、フルーツ、スナックを出してもらい、
どんな魚をみたかなどを皆でお話しました。

そしてまた猛スピードで帰ります。
復路も各名所を案内してくれます。

そしてまたイルカに迎えられ、ハーバーに帰り終了です。

なにしろボートが楽しい♪

I went on this tour with my friend, both of us have grown up around the water and have been snorkeling many times in Hawaii. On this tour, they take you to a snorkel spot called turtle canyon. However, turtle canyon is between 40 and 50 feet deep and your basically staring down at a reef that is so far down there are scuba divers below you AND it is not a secluded snorkeling spot but rather an open ocean spot far away from the shore of waikiki beach... like, past where the surfers are!
I found it to be a little scary and the "guide" kept swimming off leaving my friend and I to chase him and not guiding us at all. Once the word "sharks" was mentioned, i swam back to the boat (a 5minute swim back btw).
On another note, the sailing part was lovely and relaxing and we saw TONS OF DOLPHINS, the lunch was good as was the champagne and other drinks. The crew was great as well... except for the snorkel guide that kept leaving us to float alone in the middle of the ocean.

On November 21, I went to Holoholo Charters. My family participated, and the weather was great, making it a very pleasant experience.

We were the only four Japanese people on board. I was worried about seasickness, so I took some motion sickness medication beforehand, but I had no worries that day at all. It seemed like no one was feeling seasick.

We started with snorkeling right away. There weren't many fish, but it was decent enough.

After that, we ordered some beers, which were delicious. Then we headed towards Napali, and on the way, we spotted a sea turtle. The staff pointed it out to us. Eventually, we encountered a pod of dolphins. They came quite close for a while, and we were able to watch them for a good amount of time. There seemed to be quite a few of them, and they were adorable.

After that, we headed towards Napali and saw filming locations for Jurassic Park, King Kong, and Pirates. The views were absolutely stunning, and I truly felt it was worth coming. The staff provided a lot of explanations, but since it was all in English, I didn't understand everything. My sister occasionally translated for me, but even without understanding, it was enjoyable. We got close to birds nesting on the cliffs and approached caves, which had many highlights and was quite impressive.

On the way back, we had lunch and returned to the port, but after eating, we suddenly felt very sleepy, and our family was the only one that fell into a deep sleep. I thought it was funny that we were the only ones sleeping while everyone else seemed so energetic. Some people were sitting outside the boat or lounging around, and it felt great with the wind blowing. The foreigners were getting sunburned from direct sunlight. Everyone seemed satisfied.

I think anyone visiting Kauai for the first time should definitely participate in this experience.

家族で参加したのですが天気もよくとても気持ちがよかったです。

日本人は私たち4人だけでした。船酔いが心配だったので事前に酔い止めを飲みましたがこの日は全く心配なかったです。船酔いしている人もいないようでした。

最初すぐにシュノーケルをしました。あんまりお魚はいませんでしたがまあそこそこという感じでした。

そのあとビールなど頼めばくれてとってもおいしかったです。
その後ナパリへむかうのですが途中ウミガメがいました。スタッフが教えてくれます。
その後ついにイルカの群れにも出会う事ができました。暫くイルカに近づいてくれて結構ながく見れました。かなりの頭数がいた感じです。かわいかったです。

そのあと ナパリに向かってジュラシックパークやキングコングやパイレーツなどの撮影したところをみました。
すばらしい絶景で、来てよかったとほんとに思いました。スタッフのかたがものずごく説明してくれるのですがなんせ英語なので詳しくはわかりませんでした。妹がちょくちょく通訳してくれたのですがわからなくても楽しいと思います。崖に巣を作っている鳥の近くにいったり洞窟に接近したりなかなか見所があって迫力がありました。

帰りはランチがあってまた港に戻りますがご飯食べた後は急に眠くなり私達の家族だけ爆睡でした。
寝ているのは私達だけでみんな元気だなーって思いました。
船の外に座ったりごろごろしたり皆適当にくつろいで風が気持ちよくて最高でした。外国人の方は直射日光をあびてあかーくなってました。
皆さん満足しているようでした。
カウアイ島の初めて行く人は是非参加した方がいいと思います。

We used this for our honeymoon.

We participated on November 26, and the weather was partly cloudy and colder than we expected, which was a bit disappointing, but aside from that, we were very satisfied. All the guides were cheerful and great people. It was reassuring to have a Japanese guide, haha.

The sandbar was really beautiful!! I definitely think you should go! I was able to see sea turtles up close, which was amazing. I thought there would only be English-speaking staff, but there was a staff member who spoke Japanese, so I felt reassured.

It was my first time snorkeling, and I was moved by how many beautiful fish I saw. Also, it was great that we had time to practice in a shallow area where we could stand before going into the deeper water. After getting out of the sea, it was quite cold, so I think it's a good idea to bring a larger bath towel or something to cover your body.

ウミガメも至近距離で見れたりして、最高でした。英語スタッフばかりかと思いきや、日本語を話せるスタッフさんがいたので安心でした。

I was a bit anxious about participating alone, but from the moment I got on the van during the early morning gathering, all my worries disappeared!

Our guide, Yuji, was really energetic and entertained everyone with various stories! It didn't take long to drive, maybe less than an hour? During the drive to our destination, we saw different scenery from Waikiki, and Yuji shared lots of interesting information, like the hospital where President Obama was born and the famous "this tree, that tree" spot.

Once we arrived at the yacht harbor, we boarded the boat, changed into our wetsuits, put on fins, and equipped ourselves with snorkeling gear to search for dolphins! We sang songs...♪ When we spotted dolphins, we all jumped in together! The moment I put my face in the water, I immediately heard the sound of dolphins. It was so moving... I can't even count how many dolphins we saw. We got to see them jumping up close and felt like we were in the same ocean at the same level as them.

After that, we went to a turtle spot. At a depth of about 15 meters, I saw three turtles swimming gently below. When I looked up, there was a turtle right next to me, swimming at the same level! I was a bit startled☆ but it was so cute. Although it was a dolphin tour, I was really moved to swim with the turtles.

On the way back, we enjoyed a leisurely tea time with everyone, having some tea and snacks♪ It felt like a little cruise! Participating alone was no problem at all. We were mostly in the water, and chatting on the boat was fun too. It became a wonderful memory♪

顔をつけた瞬間、真っ先にイルカの鳴き声が聞こえました。感動です・・・。
イルカは何匹見たかわからないほど見ることができました。間近でジャンプも見れて、同じ目線で同じ海でイルカを感じれました。
その後、海がめスポットに行きました。水深15mくらいのところで、下の方で海がめが3匹ほどゆらゆら泳いでました。顔を上げたらなんと！海がめが真横であたしと同じ目線で！泳いでます！ちょっと焦った☆でも可愛かったです。
イルカツアーだったけどあたしは海がめと一緒に泳げたことに感動しちゃいました。

帰りはゆっくりみんなでお茶やお菓子でティータイム♪ちょっとしたクルージングを楽しめます！
1人参加でも全然問題ないです。ほとんど海の中にいるし、船の上でのおしゃべりも楽しかったですよ。
いい思い出になりました♪

I participated for the first time when I went to Hawaii during Golden Week.

The location is fantastic (you can see Kualoa Ranch, famous for movie shoots, in the background of the sandy beach!), and the friendliness of the staff was outstanding. I definitely recommend using a waterproof camera to take plenty of memorable photos. One thing to note is that you will get sunburned, so please apply sunscreen generously in advance.

The night before, it rained, and I was worried. I've been to Hawaii several times, but Hanauma Bay, which I saw for the first time from above, was very beautiful. My husband, who came out of the water, was parched and was thrilled with the water that Alan provided. I absolutely recommend this for first-timers and beginners. You can really focus on watching the fish. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that it is indeed affected by the weather; if it had been sunny with calm waves, I definitely think it would have been five stars. Thank you very much.

ハワイには何回か来ましたが、初めて見るハナウマ湾は上から見るととてもきれいでした。
下に降りると、波が少し高く、濁っていました。
ただ、アランさんのおかげで、ホテルからピックアップしてもらったときから、もうおまかせで、帰る時間も荷物も気にせず、海が濁りながらも魚が見えるところに連れていってもらいました。
魚を見ることに集中しているとあっという間に時間になりました。参加したのが私たち夫婦２人だけということもあり、ずっと海の中でアランさんと手をつないでもらい。貸切状態。
海からあがった主人はのどがからからで、アランさんが用意してくれた水に感激してました。初めて行かれる方、初心者の方には絶対おすすめです。魚をみることに集中できます。星がひとつ足りないのは、やはり天候に左右されるので、晴れてて波がなかったら、間違いなく星５つだったと思います。ありがとうございました。

Last time I had a very disappointing experience on a different tour, so to be honest, I wasn't expecting much this time either... But it was incredible!!! We searched for dolphins, and when we found them, everyone jumped into the sea at once! When I looked into the water, the dolphins were swimming really close by. I was so moved. Then, we also encountered sea turtles during the second hour. I was so impressed that I ended up participating twice during my stay (^O^)／ I highly recommend Dolphin Junior High. The staff were all really fun, and I'm glad I participated. I definitely plan to join again next time.

I participated with my wife. There were also three very cheerful salsa dance instructors from California (two women and one man). Our guide, Alan, spoke fluent Japanese, which made us feel very comfortable and allowed us to enjoy the experience until the end.

Since I usually wear glasses, I consulted with Alan, and he informed me that they rent prescription underwater masks for $5 at Hanauma Bay, which was very helpful.

Thanks to the salsa dance instructors in the same group as Alan, we were able to go to places we could never have reached on our own, and we got to see turtles and many fish, which made us very satisfied.

I participated in the afternoon tour.

I joined with high expectations after reading everyone's experiences, and it did not disappoint! The staff were all kind, and their stories were interesting, making for a fun time.

It was a bit disappointing that the sea turtle "Noboru" (laughs) didn't show up much. Also, while snorkeling was enjoyable, the water temperature was too cold...

I was able to relax while enjoying delicious BBQ with a beautiful view of the ocean! Thank you very much. I will definitely join again when I come back to Hawaii!

It was my first time in Hawaii and my first snorkeling experience. I was a bit anxious about what kind of instructor I would have, but Alan was very good at Japanese. He is quite tall and has experience living in Japan, so I had no worries about the language barrier. He patiently taught me how to put on the snorkeling gear, and then we headed into the water (starting with some practice). Although I understood it in my head, I struggled to breathe properly at first and thought, "This is impossible!" But Alan held my hand, and as I swam, I gained confidence in my breathing and was able to swim out further (＾＾)V. The seawater wasn't exactly clear, but I was able to see schools of fish and colorful fish, and I even encountered two sea turtles that I probably wouldn't have seen without Alan's guidance. After returning to the sandy beach for a break, I encouraged Alan to go back into the water, but he told me there was no more time. I was left feeling a bit dissatisfied that I could only do it once, but I recommend having an instructor for those who are snorkeling for the first time.

初めてのハワイで初シュノーケルでした。どんなインストラクターか不安でしたが日本語がとても上手なアランさんでした。身長がとても高く日本にも在住した経験があるそうで言葉の不安は全然ありません。シュノーケルの装着方法を丁寧に教えて貰い、いざ海中へ（初めは練習です）。頭で理解できてたのに呼吸が上手く出来なくて　無理~！　と思ったのもつかの間でアランさんが手を繋いでくれ泳いでるうちに息の仕方にも自信がつき沖へ向かって泳ぐことが出来ました（＾＾）V　海水は綺麗とは言えませんが群れをなした魚やカラフルな魚を見ることが出来、アランさんが居なかったら多分見れなかっただろう海がめとも２匹と遭遇できました。砂浜に戻り休憩後、海に入ろうとアランさんを促したら、もう時間が無いと言われました。一度しか出来ないのが不満に残りましたがシュノーケルを初めてする方はインストラクター付がお勧めです。

I participated in the afternoon plan.
At the end of October, the water was a bit cold even though I was wearing a wetsuit. However, while chasing beautiful fish, time flew by.
The crew was kind, and the seating and restroom on the boat were clean and comfortable. Drinks, snacks, and fruits were provided, which satisfied my little hunger after snorkeling.
It was a very satisfying tour where I could swim with fish in a beautiful sea.

We participated as a couple on September 30, 2010.

On that day, there were many participants from a large ship, and we set off with a total of four boats! We were the only Japanese participants, and the boat we shared had couples from America, France, and Australia.

All the explanations were in English. Perhaps because there were so many participants, there were no Japanese pamphlets available. To be honest, I understood only about half of it, but it was such a fun tour that it didn't matter.

As soon as we departed, we sped up! Feeling the wind, we could enjoy the views of the mountains on the opposite shore, gaze at the sun and the horizon, and experience nature with our whole bodies.

Along the way, the female captain occasionally stopped the boat and humorously explained Hawaii's nature and history.

After some time, we arrived at the snorkeling point. Here, we could leisurely observe the coral and the yellow and black fish for about an hour and a half. Snacks and juice were provided during the break.

Oh, and we were thrilled to see dolphins both on the way there and back, as they jumped around the boat!

This is a highly recommended tour where you can enjoy a variety of experiences.

当日は大型船からの参加者が多く、合計４台のボートで出発！！
日本人は私たちだけで、乗り合わせたボートにはアメリカ、フランス、オーストラリアからのご夫婦が参加されていました。

説明は全て英語です。参加者が多かったせいか、日本語のパンフレットもありませんでした。正直半分くらいしか分かりませんでしたが、そんなこと気にならないくらい楽しいツアーです。

出発するとすぐにスピードアップ！！風をいっぱい感じながら、対岸の山々を観たり、太陽と水平線を眺めたり、体中で自然を味わうことができます。

途中、時々ボートを停めては女性船長がユーモアたっぷりにハワイの自然や歴史を説明してくれます。


そんなこんなでシュノーケリングポイントに到着
ここで一時間半ほど、ゆっくりサンゴと黄色と黒の魚を観ることができました。休憩にはスナックとジュースが付きました。

そうそう、行きも帰りもイルカに会うことができ、ボートの周りでジャンプしてくれたことに大感激です

自然に感動して、海底に泳ぐエイのまだら模様まで
見えちゃうほどの透明度の高い海に感動して、
まるで自分に話しかけているかのような水中で聞こえる
かすかなイルカの泣き声に感動して、
スタッフさんのきめ細やかなご対応に感動して…
心の中にいっぱい素敵なキラキラが充電されました。

本当の野生のイルカが睡眠中の時にすぐそばを一緒になって
すーっと泳ぐという感じのツアーなので
シーライフパークのドルフィンスイムや
カハラホテルのドルフィンアクティビティとは
イルカにべたべた触れないという点がだいぶ違います。
それを期待して参加するとちょっと物足りない
気持になってしまうかも…

でも、その分狭い所に押し込まれていないイルカの
のびのびとした自由な姿や雄大な自然を感じ
ものすごーく癒されます。

日本でのストレスが綺麗な海に溶け出して
心が軽くなるようなツアー是非お勧めします！！
次回オアフに行くときはまた参加します

I was really looking forward to the Heaven's Sea Tour and participated in it.

I chose the afternoon tour, but the water level was high, reaching chest level in some areas, so I couldn't take my camera into the sea, which was a bit disappointing.

It was early October, and it was a bit cloudy, so the water temperature was low. I wanted to go snorkeling, but unfortunately, I couldn't...

The BBQ meat was delicious.

This tour might be better in the morning.

My husband & I were coming to Oahu, Hawaii for the first time. He is a certified scuba diver, but hadn't done any snorkel or scuba for years. We wanted to do a snorkel trip, since he enjoys it. I had never snorkeled, & from the reviews I read, I thought this trip would be enjoyable for both of us.
We had a lot of fun - on the boat, in the water, talking with the crew & fellow "snorkelers." It is a great trip for beginners - you get good instruction & practice before you are taken to a coral reef.
Bonus: we got to see several Green Turtles on our way to the reef. We would do this trip again!

The sandbar was knee-deep in shallow areas, but it was very beautiful, and my two-year-old son was delighted to go into the sea. We were also able to see sea turtles, which made it a very memorable activity for my son.
