I've visited Hawaii several times, but this was my first time participating in this activity. I was really looking forward to it, but unfortunately, we were hit by heavy rain and strong winds on the day, so we couldn't enjoy snorkeling. I was looking forward to the sandbar floating in the sea, but it felt different from the photos on the website; the water didn't recede, and it felt like we were in shallow water. I was really happy to finally go to the Heaven's Sea, which I had wanted to participate in for a long time. This was an excellent activity! Our pilot, Toshi, did a great job of getting us close to the lava flows and the waterfalls. He was extremely knowledgeable of all the sights and was able to effectively communicate to both those who only spoke English and those who only spoke Japanese. I would highly recommend this two hour flight over the other flights available. What you are able to see in that amount of time is well worth the extra money!
