We went to the Big Island for our honeymoon and participated in ocean rafting on August 31. The staff only spoke English, but they kindly provided Japanese explanations for us. Upon arriving, we were supposed to call "Captain Zodiac," the company organizing the tour, for confirmation, but our English skills made it difficult to convey what we wanted to say, which was a bit challenging. However, the staff on the other end of the phone continued to explain how to get to the meeting point with great effort, and we could feel their determination to help us, which was very kind.

On the day of the tour, a male boat driver and a female captain (who acted a bit like a pirate) boarded the boat together. I was surprised by how to get on the boat. We sat on the inflated edges of the rubber boat, and as we hit the waves, it rocked violently while speeding along. If you weren't focused, it felt like you could be thrown off. 当日は、ボートの運転手（男性）と、案内をしてくれるキャプテン（海賊のイメージでちょっと悪っぽい感じに振舞う女性）が一緒にボートに乗り込みました。驚いたのが、ボートの乗り方です。ゴムボートの周りの膨らみの部分に腰をかけた状態で、波にぶつかり大きく縦揺れしながら、猛スピードで進んで行くのです。集中していなければ体が投げ出されてしまいそういでした。とってもスリリングで、ずっと「ワーーーーー！！！！！！！！ギャーーーーーーーーー！！」と叫んでいました（笑）一緒に参加していたのは、40~50代くらいのご夫婦、60代くらいのおばあちゃん２人組、日本人の親子、私たちの８人でした。行き着いた先では、トロピカルフィッシュが泳ぐ珊瑚礁でシュノーケリングを楽しみました。ただ、この頃はちょうどサマータイムが終わったころであり、気温があまり高くなかったため、海に入っている間に体が冷えてしまって、お昼を食べてからもう一度泳げる時間があったのですが、体の震えがとまらず泳ぐのを断念しました。せっかくきれいな珊瑚礁だったのに残念でした。特にそのスポットは山からの地下水が流れ出ており、少し水が冷たいところだったみたいです。
シュノーケリングを楽しんだあとは、海岸沿いにある名所を沖から眺めながら帰るという内容でした。帰りも猛スピードを出したり、ボートを極端に傾けてターンをしたりと、楽しませてくれました。
このツアーはおすすめです！！

This excursion was fun, but staff at office was very rude. Acted like we were a burden to even help. Very short and snobby. Especially blonde lady. No one even smiled at us. I have never been on an excursion so unorganized and unfriendly. Our guide was nice enough, but no instructions for snorkeling. My sister had never snorkeled and he just gave us our masks and left us to snorkel on our own while he went spear fishing. As we were kayaking he got way ahead and never stopped and checked on the group. I was very disappointed. I have been on several excursions and the staff has always been wonderful, but not this one. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone!!!!!

I had been wanting to participate in a dolphin tour for a long time and did some research, but I decided to apply to Aloha Kona Tours for a couple of reasons: the small group size and the fact that they speak Japanese. Additionally, the numerous comments from past participants were decisive factors for me.

Participating in the tour was truly an amazing and moving experience. We were a couple not so young and complete beginners, but thanks to Mr. Nawata and staff member Tsuyako's thoughtful attention, we were able to enjoy snorkeling without any worries.

Of course, we got to see dolphins, and we even encountered a manta ray, which was incredibly moving. They made sure we could meet dolphins multiple times by getting the boat ahead of them, and we could even hear the dolphins' sounds and saw a mother and baby dolphin.

I am truly grateful to Mr. Nawata and Tsuyako, who were always smiling. It was a reassuring dolphin tour for beginners.

We participated as a family. Since it was about wild dolphins, we were able to see a family of dolphins shortly after the boat started moving. At the front of the boat, we could also see many flying fish several times.

当日、日本人は自分達だけでしたが、スタッフにやさしくサポートしてもらえたので安心でした。マスクも度付きのを貸出してもらい。ヌードルやグラスで下が見えるビート版等、シャワー完備と充実しておりました。シュノーケルのスポットは、透明度が高く、深くても安心して泳げる波の高さでした。

帰りにカメも見ることができ、とても満足しています。

I was thrilled to see not only dolphins but also manta rays! It was a truly unforgettable experience that I could never have in Japan, so I was very satisfied.

This time we went to the Big Island, and visiting Kilauea and Mauna Kea was a must. I looked into what else there was to do and found out that you can swim with dolphins, so I joined this tour, which had great reviews compared to others.

It turned out to be a fantastic choice! First of all, the guide was really nice and amazing! The quality of a tour is definitely important, but the guide makes a huge difference!

I had been wanting to go for a long time, but this time I finally decided to participate. The reason I hadn't joined before was probably due to cost... I had been settling for cheaper Kailua Beach tours instead. However, after going this time, I was convinced that the price was worth it. The ocean was beautiful, and I saw several sea turtles; it truly was the best location. Our guide, Yukiko, was a fun and wonderful person, and I had an enjoyable half-day. Since I didn't go snorkeling, the half-day course was sufficient for me, but I recommend the lunch-inclusive course for those who want to fully enjoy snorkeling.

以前から行きたいとは思っていましたが今回思い切って参加しました。なぜ今まで参加しなかったかと言うと費用の問題かな・・・もっとお安いカイルアビーチツアーなどでお茶を濁していたと言うことです。然し今回行って見てこのお値段でも納得がいきました。海も綺麗だし海がめも何匹も見れたしやはり最高のロケーションでした。ガイドのゆきこさんも楽しい素敵な方でしたし楽しい半日を過ごせました。一緒に参加した私もシュノーケリングをしなかったため半日コースで十分でしたがシュノーケリングを存分に楽しみたい方はランチ付きのコースをお勧めします。

I participated in the morning tour with my wife. The entire guide was in English, but we received a Japanese notice sheet during check-in at the reception, which I think is almost the same as the verbal instructions given when boarding. As someone who struggles with English, I understood less than half, but reading the notice in advance helped me grasp the general idea. Just watching the beautiful coral reefs and colorful fish made me feel happy. On the way there, we even saw dolphins playing in the waves created by the boat. The food and drinks were more than enough to fill us up. There were many children present, so I believe people of all ages can enjoy this experience. There are also floaties available.

It seemed that most of the participants were travelers from the mainland United States, but there were a few other Japanese participants as well. However, I got the impression that the staff didn't engage much with the Japanese participants. Of course, it wasn't neglect; it might be due to the language barrier, leading to the impression that Japanese people are "hard to engage with." 米国本土からの旅行者がほとんどのようでしたが、日本人参加者は他に数組いらっしゃいました。しかし、スタッフがあまり日本人に絡んでこない印象も。もちろん、放置ということでなくて、おそらく言葉の問題から日本人は「絡みにくい」という経験からの印象なのかもしれないですね。用具の貸し出しや飲食の案内などちゃんと声をかけてくれますので安心ですし、分からないことは遠慮なくカタコトで声をかければいいと思います。

After searching online for family-friendly activities on the Big Island, I decided to go with Aloha Kona Tours, which had great reviews. My son (7 years old) and daughter (9 years old) joined me, and the staff was always attentive. The kids were able to see a pod of dolphins right in front of them while holding onto floating rings.

Although they took breaks due to seasickness, the staff continued to check on them, which made the kids very happy. It was also great that all the staff were Japanese, allowing us to snorkel without any stress. I never imagined I would see so many dolphins jumping and spinning right in front of me; it was incredibly soothing.

They were punctual and very efficient. A waterproof camera is a must. I highly recommend participating as a family. Our summer vacation diary was filled with dolphins.

回転しながらジャンプするイルカを何頭も、目の前で見れるなんて想像もしなかったですしすごく癒されました。

時間に正確だし、手際も良かったです。
防水カメラは必需品です。
家族での参加はおすすめです。
夏休みの絵日記にはイルカがいっぱいでした。

またリピーターになりたいと思います。

I participated in a dolphin tour during my trip to Hawaii a year ago, but the Dolphin School was definitely more interesting. The tour guide really got us participants excited, so we had a great time both on the bus and on the boat.

The main dolphins were amazing. When we first spotted them, they came right up to the boat and swam alongside us. Even after we got into the water, they swam slowly around us. It was incredibly healing.

You absolutely must participate in this in Hawaii.

I participated in the morning plan on Saturday the 25th. I chose this plan because I wanted to go shopping in the afternoon, and I enjoyed it more than enough! On this day, I encountered a manta ray, and there were very few people, so looking at the photos, it feels like we had the sandbar all to ourselves! Above all, the warmth and kindness of the staff helped create the best memories. My best friend and I participated together, and we both get seasick easily, but thanks to Yukiko from the staff, we had no worries about seasickness at all, and it turned out to be the best day!

In August 2012, I participated in my fifth dolphin swimming tour. As I had heard, this time of year is the season for baby dolphins, and I encountered many of them. The sandbar is likely more enjoyable on low tide, but it seems you can still have a decent time even when the land isn't exposed. When I went, there was just enough of a path left when we arrived, but by the time we left, the land was gone.

On the day I participated, there were about 100 people, but the area to play in is large, so it wasn't too bothersome. You won't have the ocean all to yourself, though.

The staff were kind, which was nice, but I wish they would refrain from smoking on the sandbar.

The turtles and snorkeling were pretty average; the main attraction is the sandbar.

I think it's enjoyable for elderly people and families as well.

サンドバーは、干潮の日のほうが楽しめるでしょうが、陸地が出ていない日でもそこそこ楽しめそうです。私の行ったときはついたときにギリギリ一本道が残っていて、帰る頃には陸地はなくなっていました。

スタッフの方は親切でよかったですが、サンドバーで煙草を吸うのだけはやめてほしかったです。

カメやシュノーケルはまあ普通、メインはサンドバーでしょう。

お年寄りや家族連れでも楽しめると思います。

It felt like a paradise at sea! Due to the tides, the water was about knee-deep, but we were blessed with beautiful weather and thoroughly enjoyed the stunning ocean! The staff were all very fun people, and even though it was just a light snack, it was enough to fill us up. We were also able to see several sea turtles!

I was looking forward to the sandbar. After getting on the boat and listening to various instructions and explanations, we headed to the sandbar... It seemed to be a bit high tide, so the water was quite deep and initially cold, but we took some photos around the waist-deep area, and now that I'm back, I look at those pictures with nostalgia. During snorkeling, I was able to see many fish, as well as pufferfish and rays. The BBQ lunch was very delicious. The staff were all kind, and I made some wonderful memories.

楽しみにしていたサンドバー。船に乗り色々な注意、説明を聞いていざサンドバーへ・・・少し満ち潮だったらしく水は結構あり最初は寒く冷たかったですが、腰の辺の所で写真を撮っていただきその写真は帰ってきた今、懐かしい思いで見ています。シュノーケリングでは沢山の魚の他、ふぐ、エイなども見ることが出来ました。ランチのＢＢＱはとても美味しかったです。スタッフの方々も皆親切で楽しい思い出が出来ました。
