The weather was great, and we were able to see a very beautiful sandbar! The snorkeling spot had strong winds and the water was a bit murky, but we were able to see some fish. The sandbar was deeper than I expected, about knee-deep. I checked a site that predicts the tides to decide when to go, but there were days that seemed deeper, so I think it would be good to confirm and choose a day within the possible range.

A breathtaking spot often seen in TV shows and guidebooks! I wanted to go to the sandbar, so I signed up.
It was definitely the right choice! I highly recommend it!!
On my boat, Justin kept the energy up and it was a lot of fun. I tend to get seasick, so I took some motion sickness medication before joining. It didn't rock too much, so it wasn't a problem. The lunch on the boat was delicious too!
The sandbar had cloudy skies with occasional sunny breaks, and I took a lot of photos.
It would have been even better if it had been clear!
I had a great time snorkeling and paddleboarding.
I even got to see a sea turtle!!

Cole was our tour guide, he was extremely informative and helpful. We were nervous not knowing how difficult the paddle was going to be but it truly was easy. We paddled over to the turtle cleaning station and we’re amazed at all the turtles we literally just hanging out with. Cole showed us different sea life and explained the history of the surrounding islands. It was the best tour we had during all our trips, clear waters, lots of coral and mostly turtles!!! It had been three years since I last saw the night sea, so I was nervous.

As explained on the boat, I was able to float surprisingly easily by holding onto a semicircular ring and resting my legs on a long foam stick. Thanks to that, I could wait for the manta rays while comfortably observing plankton and fish. It was breathtaking to see the manta rays swimming close to my body and spinning around!! If I could wish for anything, it would be to see them in a group.

I borrowed a wetsuit, so I wasn't cold in the water (wearing aqua shoes might have helped too). My husband said he felt cold. Changing back when we returned was easy since I brought a pareo (a square piece of cloth).

I am grateful to the staff for providing an experience that I couldn't have done on my own.

They came so close that we almost touched them, even though we shouldn't have. I think this is a rare experience.

The weather was wonderful, and the color of the sea was just as I expected! I was worried if my elderly mother would enjoy it, but when we got off the boat and walked in the shallow water, she was satisfied to see sea turtles and fish up close.

They even laid out towels on the bus for our return trip. My family, who joined me, also said they had a wonderful time, which was great to hear. It took about 30 minutes to reach the manta point after getting on the boat, and I was tired by the time we arrived due to the rain. You can see the mantas while snorkeling by holding onto the boat's rope. There are floats available, but you need to jump into the sea from the boat and swim back to it on your own. I was scared to jump in. The snorkeling lasted about 40 minutes. It was tiring because it was cold and raining. If you call out to the staff, you can return to the boat midway. On the way back, we were offered hot chocolate. It was physically challenging, but I’m grateful for the many mantas we saw and the hospitality of the Japanese staff.

Captain Bob’s Trip was awesome!! Top notch! It started with a beautiful catamaran ride and really fun energetic exciting crew! These people made you feel very safe and welcome and ensured everyone was having an exceptional time!
The sand bar and volleyball were breathtakingly beautiful and so much fun! Whether you are a professional volleyball player or a 5 year old, it all seemed to work out just as it should and everyone had an amazing time!
The BBQ was delicious, drinks, bar, everything was perfect! Grilling off the side of a catamaran on a sandbar in Oahu! What more could you ask for!
Seeing the turtles was amazing and the snorkeling was fantastic as well! Plenty of really nice equipment, instruction, safety always a priority with this crew! I would recommend this excursion and experience 100%! Also- a nice tour bus picks you up at your hotel or close to it if you need a ride! Fantastic transportation. Very well run and organized! We met some really nice people on the excursion and the crew was the best! Enjoy!

When we arrived at the sandbar, we spotted two sea turtles, and several more came by afterward.

Next, we moved to the snorkeling point, where we were able to see about five sea turtles from the boat.

The snorkeling point didn't have strong waves, so if you can swim reasonably well, I recommend trying it without a life jacket!

The deeper areas had more fish and were beautiful! Additionally, I was able to find a sea turtle resting in the coral, and I managed to take an amazing photo! I had to dive about 4 meters, which was quite challenging, but it became my best memory in Hawaii.

I want to go again!

We couldn't ask for a better way to spend our last day in Oahu.
This tour was so relaxing and fun. Everyone was so friendly including staff and other participants.
The Sand bar was so exciting, and the turtles were cute. and snorkelling amazing.
Everything is well organised.


One advice to people who go on this tour -
Go to the bathroom before boarding the ship,
since the bathrooms are not that convenient.
but they are there if you need them :-)

The sandbar was disappointing because the water level was high, but snorkeling was great as I got to see sea turtles and schools of fish. Additionally, I had the opportunity to try stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking, which made for a very fulfilling experience. The staff were all kind and entertaining, which was wonderful. Thank you very much.

Everything went smoothly from the pickup time to arrival. Renting a bicycle for $10 was a great decision. We quickly got takeout from Kimo's Pancakes. We shared it and ended up very full. The staff were kind, and we had a wonderful time at Kailua Beach. For lunch, we had plates at the hotel.
