We were picked up at Kings' Land in Waikoloa and taken to the venue. We rented a wetsuit ($10) and a snorkeling set (free) on-site before setting off. The boat rocked quite a bit; it swayed back and forth so much that my girlfriend got sick, which is unusual, as we were told it doesn't usually rock this much. However, the staff were very kind and accommodating! I think even those who usually do fine should definitely take motion sickness medication!

The manta rays came right up to our faces, and it was an amazing experience! It felt like they were checking in on my girlfriend, asking, "Are you okay?" which made us burst out laughing. The waves were intense, so while watching the mantas, we were lying face down, and when we returned to our usual position on the boat, I suddenly felt very seasick.

On the way back, it was quite cold even with the wetsuit on, so warm clothing is essential! The boat ride lasts about 30 minutes, and during that time, you might be shivering.

But even with that, it was the best experience! We're already talking about wanting to go see dolphins next time!

帰りはウェットスーツ来ててもかなり寒いので防寒着必須です！船は30分くらい乗るのでその間は震えます。

でもそれを差し引いても最高の体験でした！次回はイルカ行きたいねーと話しています！

Despite being warned multiple times, we mistakenly went to the wrong meeting place, but they were very kind to us. (The Hilton Hawaiian Village is really something to watch out for. The Grand Islander and Grand Waikikian can be confusing.)
Our guide, Chieko, was Japanese and very kind and attentive. Unlike a previous snorkeling tour where I had a foreign guide and struggled to communicate, which made me feel scared when I cramped up, we were able to enjoy ourselves as a couple this time.
It's also great that we could take photos with a GoPro and receive them later. I brought an underwater camera, but I was so focused on swimming that I couldn't take good pictures, so this truly became a lifelong memory. Thank you very much.

Although the visibility of the sea wasn't great due to the rain the day before, the emerald green and cobalt blue waters sparkling in the sunlight were truly beautiful. We encountered many sea turtles, and my husband even had moments where he swam close enough to them while being careful not to touch! Our guide, Yukiko, was also impressive just to watch, and she is a big reason why I want to join this tour again and meet her!

The day of participation was unfortunately marked by cloudy skies and intermittent rain, but when the sun peeked through for a moment, it was absolutely beautiful! We played beach volleyball, and even though we couldn't communicate with people from other countries, it felt like we connected through sports, making it a really enjoyable time! The hamburger we had for lunch was also incredibly delicious! We were able to see a lot of fish while snorkeling! I think it would be stunning on a sunny day, so I would love to participate again!

I don't think I would have been able to swim that far on my own. Additionally, I received proper instruction on how to wear the mask, clear water from it, maintain posture, and stand in the water, which allowed my husband, who isn't a strong swimmer, to enjoy the experience until the end without worry! We participated as a couple. The boat had people from various countries, not just Japanese. There were about two Japanese couples. There were mostly Caucasian people. Although the weather was nice that day, there were really few plankton to serve as bait, so we only managed to see them towards the very end. We had to stay in the water the whole time, which made it quite tough as our bodies got cold. I think it would be better to wear a long wetsuit and to go in good health.

We were picked up from the hotel and after a short drive, we boarded the cruiser at the port and headed to the sandbar. There was a lovely Japanese woman among the staff, which made me feel completely at ease. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The tide wasn't too low, and the water was up to my waist, so it didn't quite feel like a sandbar, but the stunning scenery more than made up for it! We saw several sea turtles floating around. While enjoying delicious hamburgers for lunch, we moved to a different spot where we could leisurely snorkel and see beautiful fish living around the large coral reef. It was truly an enjoyable tour. I recommended it to acquaintances going to Hawaii!

We had plenty of time to see fish and turtles at two spots. On the way there, we encountered a pod of dolphins and even saw them spin. At each spot, we saw many fish, and we were able to see six turtles and an octopus as well. However, since I participated at the beginning of July, there were some areas where the water was a bit cold. This might have been due to a typhoon approaching a few days later.
On the way back, it was a great experience to enjoy a hearty barbecue chicken while sailing.
【Others】
We were the only Japanese couple, but the staff were all cheerful and friendly sea men and women who interacted with us warmly. The other participants were mainly families and couples. The explanations in English were delivered quite quickly, so honestly, it was hard for me to catch everything, but I think it’s fine as long as you mimic those around you (laughs). I was worried on the day of the activity because I completely forgot about the reconfirmation phone call the day before, but it turned out to be okay.

前日リコンファームで電話ということでしたが、完全に忘れており当日心配しておりましたが、大丈夫でした。
また、チップは、下船時にお一人に20ドルをお渡ししました（周囲の方も同様な形でした）

総じて大満足のアクティビティでした。

I was looking forward to Sandbar, but at the time close to high tide, the sand wasn't exposed, and it was just a shallow area with splashing. Since it was shallow, there were no fish at all. Well, I did choose to depart a bit later in the morning.

In the afternoon snorkeling, we swam around the coral reef, but the fish were just average to sparse. The water clarity was low, but the coral was magnificent.

The cruise guide, Yumiko, was very enjoyable and considerate, and the hamburger for lunch was delicious, creating a very nice atmosphere.

I participated with four friends. Three of them are not very good at snorkeling, but they enjoyed it nonetheless.

I joined the sandbar tour about eight years ago, but this time there was no sandy area in sight at all. Being 160 cm tall, the water level was almost up to my waist. It might have been high tide, but it felt just like a regular sea.

Still, I was able to see a lot of sea turtles, which I was very satisfied with. I also felt that it would have been better if there had been an explanation of the snorkeling masks and other equipment on the boat rather than after entering the water.

友人4人で参加しました。3人はシュノーケリングが得意ではありませんが、それなりに満喫しておりました。
サンドバーは8年ほど前に参加してますが、今回は砂地が全くなく見当たらず、160㎝の背の高さの私は、ほぼ腰あたりまで水面が来ていました。満潮だったかもしれませんが、それにしても普通の海としか感じませんでした。
それでも、沢山のウミカメを見ることができました。その点はとても満足しました。
また、海に入ってからではなく、船上で、シュノーケリングマスク等の説明があったらよかったなと感じました。

Everything was amazing! First of all, Mr. Gaito's guidance was very thorough, which made me feel secure participating in the tour. The BBQ hamburger was also juicy and incredibly delicious! Above all, I was able to fully enjoy the ocean in Hawaii! At the sandbar, I took photos right in the middle of the sea and admired the beautiful water. During the sea turtle watching, although they were a bit far away, I encountered two sea turtles. While snorkeling, I was able to swim alongside a sea turtle! If I have the chance to go to Hawaii again, I would definitely love to participate once more!

I could see how the lava flows that poured into the sea expanded this island. The awe of nature's power is evident. And the black sand beach that formed is perhaps a joke-filled gift from the gods to humanity. Next, at Kobaruyama, time transformed the lava into fertile soil that nurtures lush trees, and erosion created breathtaking canyons and waterfalls that drop 400 meters—these stunning views were experienced by the helicopter guests. Finally, the awareness and proactivity of the island's people in coexisting with the volcanoes, as shared by pilot Mochizuki, will likely stay with me for life, as I lead a rather ordinary existence. Moreover, this first helicopter tour of my life allowed me to witness the Earth's activities from a bird's-eye view. It may sound a bit exaggerated, but it changed my perspective on life.

This was an excellent way to explore the ocean without having experience in scuba diving. Kevin was patient, informative, and an overall great guide. My only advice is to consider the excursion before committing. The water can be a bit rough and there is a good deal of information to consider. My wife backed out at the last minute but she was also on the fence about going in the first place. My 15 and 11 year old had a great time as did I.

I participated with my daughter. The staff members were very kind and fun people. We were able to go to places we couldn't reach on our own and met many turtles, even swimming with them! It was a wonderful tour. However... I am very prone to seasickness, and I forgot to bring motion sickness medication to the hotel (tears), so I wasted half of the tour (free time) unable to do anything. I am really disappointed about that. I truly think the tour itself, including the staff, was absolutely amazing! I plan to take revenge next time (^o^)/

娘と二人で参加しました。スタッフの皆さんがとても親切で楽しい方々でした。自力では行けない場所に行け沢山の亀さんにも会え、一緒に泳ぐ事が出来る！とても素晴らしいツアーでした。ただ…私がとても波酔い船酔いしやすいのに、ホテルに酔い止め薬を忘れて（涙）ツアー半分（自由時間）を何も出来ない状態で無駄にしてしまいました。その事が残念でなりません。ツアーは自体はスタッフの方々含め本当に本当に最高だと思います！次回またリベンジするつもりです(^o^)/
