Hawaii
This was a unique experience and is a great way to get underwater if you are afraid to scuba dive or want to try something other than skorkel.
The only downside was the service was a bit below par compared with some of the other services we were getting. They were not rude, but definitely not that friendly. They acted like they didn't want to be there and seemed to rush everything. The exception is the young man, who appears to be Hawaiian. He took interest and appeared to enjoy his job.
Kids (aged 14 and 15) went up while my 11 year old and I rode along. Seas were a little choppy, but not horrible, yet I still got a little motion sickness. The crew took awesome care of me and showed genuine concern. They took nice photo's of the experience (not of me, thanks) for the kids to enjoy. Huge success for the kids, but if you think you might get the least bit of a queasy stomach, take a pill before boarding! :)
We had a wonderful time on our Keauhou Sea Cave Kayak Adventure. Our main guide, Kevin, was wonderful. He was very concerned about our safety and enjoyment of the outing. We were able to kayak into a large sea cave before paddling over to our snorkeling destination. Many were adventurous and jumped off the 25 foot high cliff into the water, including my husband! One of our daughters and I snorkeled away from the main group a bit and I saw a few hundred yellow tang - more than I've ever seen before! There were many other kinds of fish there as well as Hawaii's state fish. Our oldest daughter had her snorkeling cut short when she got stung by a small jelly fish on the foot, as did one or two others in our tour, but that's a risk when in the ocean. Kevin and another Ocean Safari staff member who was there with his own tour both checked on our daughter after getting her back in the kayak. When you arrive at the establishment, everyone is very helpful. You watch a video of what to look forward to. Only thing I would have wished was for a small map that we could have taken with us, instead there's a big one on the wall. So what I did was take a picture of it with my camera. It's an easy walk to the beach, then you depart. It's great!! We opted for the bag, definitely do it, you can put everything you don't want wet in there. The views are great and you get a great workout for your arms, always a plus. Once you get to the islands, you get amazing views!! Some you can even snorkel in. Would be visiting again soon!
My 15 year old son and I had an awesome time and would love to go again! Everything went well, from the online registration to on site check in to the parasailing itself. What really made the trip for us were the two guys that ran the show. They were friendly, polite and put you at ease right away. They totally made the experience. We got the photos and are so glad we did - they turned out great and captured the experience even better than we hoped.
The boater was kind of rude because he intentionally indirectly exaggerated on tips. I thought I paid enough for the ride but well..
I was really scared to do this but my 14 year old son wanted to try it. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and professional with the equipment. They are also really funny and nice. They tell you exactly what you need to do. It was fabulous! We had the best time, and loved the experience. The crew is great. They will even take pictures for you for an extra fee of $15 (you take the film home.) Don't forget to bring money for a tip. You don't really need the extra towels, change of clothes, and you can buy water there. If I return to Hawaii I will do this again!

One of the most enjoyable activities that we did while we were in Hawaii! My eight year old daughter loved it and wants to go again. The boat crew was fun and very safety conscience. Highly recommended for everyone: Don't miss out!
This was soooo much fun. The Best part of our trip. We had a blast snorkeling, jumping off the cliff, and even the kayaking wasn't so bad. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a way to spend a fun 3 1/2 hrs enjoying the water, catching some rays, and learning about the Island. It was GREAT!
My daughter and her friend parasailed and my husband and I were observers. The girls had a great time and the staff was great! This is the second time we have used Extreme Parasailing and we would definitely use it again. I highly recommend them if you want to parasail in beautiful Oahu!
This was an awesome experience for my wife and I on our honeymoon. It was great exercise and you get to see Hawaii from a whole different perspective. The snorkeling was amazing and we even were able to jump off some cliffs into the water. Mike, the tour leader, was awesome and extremely nice. We would recommend this to anyone!
You don't even get your hair wet, and fish swim right up to you and pick at the bread in your hand. You breathe normally. You can see them perfectly clearly and they come to you. This was really fun. Then you can snorkel around the boat while the other people take their turns, in couples, riding the little underwater scooters. Don't do this if you're prone to seasickness. But if you don't want the hassle of SCUBA, this is the best way to be underwater with the bright little fish.
This was the biggest challenge of my trip as someone with a fear of heights. Until it was my turn, I was so scared that I felt like crying. However, once I took off into the sky, I was moved by the beauty of the scenery that I could never see from the ground. I'm glad I decided to try it. Also, the staff was good and didn't insist on tips.

We just returned from an awesome trip to Kauai and this was by far our favorite activity! It had a little of everything...kayaking, hiking, ziplines and cooling off in a stream fed pool. I was a little concerned about our kids, ages 9 and 11, but they handled the kayaking, hiking and ziplining with ease. We thought it was definitely worth the money. The 1800' zip was the best! We would do it again in a heartbeat!
What an incredible experience diving with all of you!!! I've never learned so much about a dive site in so little time with so much pleasure as I have with Vici, Jennifer, Andy and Pauline. Your dives have awakened my sense of wonder and ignited an insatiable curiosity about marine life everywhere. I'll be back in a heartbeat.
Our dive with you was the best we've ever experienced. Your dive master did an excellent job. Before each dive he reviewed all of the minute details that he expected us to see. Then we saw them in the order that was described. I especially like the speed of the dive; 2 speeds: slow and stop. The field of eels at Molokini and the Devil Scorpionfish were the highlights of our dives in Hawaii. We have been all over, from Tahiti to Cozumel and the Caribbean. Each area has it's pluses and minuses, but we have never had the insight into the dive that you and Dave brought to us from the naturalist/biologist point of view. We don't dive for the parties afterward, we are there for the wildlife. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Our favorite part of the whole vacation was the day on your jet skis. We all had such a blast! Many thanks!!

I went on a trip with my family to Hawaii for our wedding ceremony, and my sister insisted on doing parasailing as a memorable experience, so I decided to join. To be honest, I’m really not good with roller coasters and had no idea what to expect, so I was extremely nervous.
On the day of the event, I was anxiously waiting, but the pickup was delayed by about ten minutes, which made me uneasy.
We got on the boat and headed out to sea, wearing life jackets... and then it was our turn!!!
However, with every rise into the sky, my anxiety disappeared, and I felt an incredible sense of joy and excitement!
It was the best feeling. I chose the standard course, but I think I would have enjoyed going higher.
If my sister hadn’t invited me, I probably wouldn’t have had this experience in the future, so I’m really glad I did it.
I would definitely want to do it again if I have the chance.

I participated with my middle school daughter and our family of three. I was quite worried about our physical stamina, but once we decided to join, the instructions were very kind and easy to understand, which quickly dispelled my anxiety. It was definitely a plus that everything was conducted in Japanese. Our whole family was able to stand on the board, and we even had a video taken. It became a wonderful memory for our family.

Hi were posting another review. Book this activity!!!!!! You'll have such an awesome time. The shuttle ride the staff, and the location is great. Couldn't ask for a better time.
A close friend and I decided that we would each pick an event while visiting Oahu for 5 days. She wanted to do something under the ocean, and I wanted to do something OVER the ocean. After our parasailing trip, we both were AMAZED at how much fun and relaxing it was.
The staff were extremely helpful and comforting when it came to loading/unloading passengers, and they asked everyone if they wanted a brief "dip" towards the end of the flight. (You never get fully submerged in the ocean with the 'dip' but just get a little wet from the waist down.. it is WORTH IT). Everyone on the boat had a blast and on our way back to shore it started pouring rain.. which I LOVED. It was the epitome of a Hawaiian vacation. 82 degree weather and pouring rain with a rainbow.
As for the flight itself, it was extremely relaxing and the views were spectacular. I wouldn't have originally thought that flying 42 stories high would be soothing, but it was. VERY romantic idea for couples.

Our entire family had a wonderful time surfing! We cannot wait to do it again. Thanks for taking us out!
Thank you so much for my surfing experience! Four days was definitely not enough for me and I miss it already. You all were so kind and helpful. This was, by far, the best surfing experience I've had in all my attempts to learn. Because of that, I'm planning on picking up some classes out here in California once the weather gets better. So hopefully by the time I return next year, I'll be on a much smaller board =). You guys are awesome!
My two hours with Mito were such a highlight of my time on Oahu I am telling lots of people who are going to the islands that this is a "must do" activity. We had so much fun together and I actually was able to stand, sort of. I have balance problems and thought this was something I would try and enjoy, no expectation of success. I am still not the best in the balance arena, but I did stand on two feet without hands--an accomplishment for me and a credit to Mito's skill as a teacher.
For those who don't know scuba diving but yet wish to experience the life under the sea, need to do this. Very nice experience and enjoyed it. Try feeding the fish and you are surrounded by them ... various colors of fishes ... would recommend to those who wish to go underwater and don't know swimming like me. A bit discomfort to the ears at the beginning but gets fine soon. Good Instructors and the divers shall be with you throughout your stay in the water. Go for it!!
