I suggest to book this activity early. I wanted to book the ATV tour that is driven by us but those reservations were all gone. The only option was to be driven by a tour expert and I have to say that was the best! Our expert was very knowledgeable and friendly. If I would do it again I would definitely choose the option to be driven be an expert. The ranch is beautiful and views are breathtaking. Learning about the history was also great.

Due to strong winds, it was said that the eastern side of the island would be quite bumpy, so after takeoff, we headed north through the center of the island and then circled around to the west. The flight start time was delayed because the fuel truck took a while to arrive, but we were able to fly for a full hour.

During the experience, I was able to hold the control stick from takeoff to landing. Takeoff and landing are difficult, so I had to assist, but I still felt like I was piloting the plane. Once we successfully took off, I was able to fly the plane freely. The instructor guided me on the route, and I maneuvered along the highway and coastline. The sensation of controlling the plane up, down, left, and right was truly moving. The instructor handled the more challenging operations of the yoke and throttle, allowing me to focus on controlling the stick.

The weather was great, and seeing Oahu from the sky was breathtaking with its rich natural beauty. At various points, the instructor introduced sightseeing spots, and I was also able to take photos while the instructor handled the piloting. Both the instructor and the staff took many photos for us. They were friendly and easy to talk to, and they were very kind. This time, the instructor was Japanese, so I was able to experience everything in Japanese, which was very helpful.

It was an unforgettable experience that will last a lifetime. I am very satisfied. Thank you!

離陸、着陸は難しいので、手を添える形にはなりますが、十分操縦をしている感覚を得られます。無事離陸したら、自由に飛行機を操れるようになります。教官からルートを教えていただき、高速道路や海岸線に沿って飛ぶように操縦しました。上下左右に自分で飛行機を操縦している感覚は感動ものです。初心者には難しいヨークやスロットルの操作は教官がやってくださるので操縦桿の操作に集中出来ます。
天気が良く、空から見るオアフ島は自然豊かで絶景でした。要所要所で、教官が観光名所を紹介してくださり、また操縦を教官に任せて写真を撮ることも出来ます。教官やスタッフさんも写真を沢山撮ってくださいました。教官もスタッフさんも気さくな方で話しやすく大変親切にしてくださいました。今回はスタッフに加え、教官も日本人だったのでオール日本語で体験出来、助かりました。

一生の思い出となる体験が出来ました。
大変満足しています。ありがとうございました

During step 2, I wasn't given specific instructions to go to the Raptor Tour registration (it was in English, so I might have missed it). I waited in front of the visitor center, and by the time I realized it, the registration time had passed.

When I went to the Raptor Tour location, I was told to line up at the back of the registration line, but by the time my turn came, it was already too late to participate.

In the end, I had to join a different tour that was available. (I appreciated the flexibility in changing the tour content.)

To prevent this from happening, I believe there should be an explanation on the experience page advising participants to head to the registration for each tour according to the scheduled times. I would appreciate your consideration of this.

I had always wanted to try horseback riding, but since the youngest was 7 and the oldest was 69, it was hard to find a place where everyone could ride together. Just when I was about to give up, I found this place!

I signed up for a one-hour course that started at 8:45 AM. We left Waikiki just after 7 AM, stopped at Leonard's to buy and eat malasadas on the way, and arrived at the location just in time for the meeting. We parked in the spacious parking lot and received instructions from the staff at the reception, then signed the waiver.

Wearing helmets was optional for adults, but of course, everyone wore one! We only put our phones and car keys in the provided leather bags. After using the restroom and playing with the goats and sheep in the area, it was suddenly time to start.

Each person was helped onto a horse, and we received a brief explanation on how to ride: pull the reins to stop, turn the reins in the direction you want to go, and give a light kick to the belly if the horse stops moving. Even the 7-year-old was able to ride alone and we set off right away! At first, I was nervous, but the horses were all calm and smart, which made me feel at ease.

There were hills to climb and we weaved through a herd of cows, making it feel like an attraction, which was enjoyable. We could take pictures anytime, but since we had to hold the reins, it was a bit tricky to operate the phone with one hand while turning around to take a shot. It might be difficult for those who aren't used to handling their phone with one hand. The ranch staff took quite a few pictures for us, but they were $8 each, so we decided not to purchase any.

Since we had a child with us, we moved at a relatively slow pace, but I would have liked to ride faster if it were just adults. Also, the 7-year-old was placed at the back, so everyone had to be mindful of the pace, and it would have been best if the adults were at the back instead.

We chose the one-hour course, but it actually lasted over an hour, which was more than enough. By the end, my hips and thighs were shaking! All the staff were women, and the restrooms and animal areas were kept relatively clean, which was quite impressive (though there was a lot of dust). The kids said that horseback riding was the most fun part! I highly recommend it!

1人ずつ馬に乗せていただき、手綱を手前へ引いたらストップ、手綱を曲がりたい方向へ向けたら曲がる、動かなくなったら足で軽くお腹を蹴るなど、軽く乗り方の説明を受けただけて、7歳の子供も1人で乗って早速出発❗️
最初は緊張しましたが、大人しく頭のいい馬ばかりだったので、乗っているこちらも安心できました。
坂道があったり牛の群れの間をすり抜けたり、アトラクション的な感じもあって楽しめます。
写真もいつでも自分たちで撮れます。
が、手綱は持ったままになりますので、片手で携帯を操作し、さらに後ろに振り向いてシャッターを押さないといけませんので、片手で携帯の操作をし慣れてる人じゃないと難しいかなと。
牧場の方もかなり撮ってくれますが、1枚8ドルだったので、購入はせず…
また、子供がいたのでかなりゆっくりのスピードで進んでくれましたが、大人ばかりならもっと早いスピードでも乗ってみたかったかな〜。
それと、7歳の子供が一番後ろに配置されたので、みんなが後ろを気をしながら進まないといけなく、できたら大人を最後にしてもらえたらベストではありました。

今回1時間のコースにしましたが、実質1時間以上あり十分でした。
最後になると股関節も太もももワナワナしてきて笑
スタッフは全員女性で、トイレや動物のいる所も比較的綺麗に保たれており、かなり好感持てました。(砂埃は凄かったですが)
子供達も、乗馬が一番楽しかったと言っていました‼️
めちゃくちゃオススメです‼️

They provided round-trip transportation from the hotel, and we had such lively conversations that there was no time to feel nervous. I said my goodbyes, looking forward to next year, and it was a pleasant farewell. I've already booked my hotel, so I look forward to coming back.

I thought the hike to Manoa Falls would be easy, but the way there was all uphill, and it was quite muddy. There are several breaks along the way, but I was too focused on watching my feet to enjoy the scenery. The humidity was also quite high.

That said, seeing the waterfall was rewarding. It was truly beautiful. White shoes and light-colored pants are not a good idea.

Lunch at Tantalus Lookout was enjoyable.

I previously went to see the sunset and starry sky from the summit of Haleakalā on Maui, and it was an absolutely stunning sight that cannot be compared. However, given the location, I did feel a bit unwell (I think this is what they call altitude sickness), so I was disappointed that I couldn't really enjoy the explanations about the stars. I had heard that there are few Japanese tourists and that the guidance would be in English, but on the day we participated, everyone in our group was Japanese, so we had a guide who spoke Japanese. Thank you for taking so many photos for us.

The staff at North Shore Stables were all very friendly and attentive. The ATV’s were perfect for me and my boys. The course was diverse, interactive and provided for excellent photo opportunities. The course takes you through fields, a quick stop to see and feed animals then down to the beach for the ultimate photo opportunity. This was an excellent family friendly activity, my kids really enjoyed the whole experience. This is an outing for anyone looking for some excitement. I would definitely recommend this activity for a great way to spend a few hours while on Oahu!

I was hesitant because the tour prices have increased due to the strong yen, but my husband said, "I've already retired, and this mountain is higher than Mount Fuji, so I want to climb it while I'm still healthy," and that’s why I decided to join this time.

It was hot until we got on the bus, but I participated wearing a long-sleeve T-shirt, jeans, and sneakers. The winter gear I brought from Japan included Uniqlo's ultra-warm underwear, Uniqlo's ultra-light down jacket, ski socks, and smartphone-compatible gloves. I changed into the clothes I brought at a rest stop along the way and borrowed ski wear at the summit to wear over them. (The summit had clear skies, but it was a windy and cold day for summer, so this was just right.)

I had never climbed Mount Fuji, so I was worried about altitude sickness, but I was fine. I enjoyed delicious sandwiches and cocoa. You can easily drive to the summit and see breathtaking views. I learned for the first time what a starry sky really is. I could even see moving satellites with the naked eye.

It was a series of moving experiences. I highly recommend it.

バスに乗るまでは暑いですが、長袖のTシャツとGパンとスニーカーで参加しました。日本から持参した冬装備は、ユニクロの極暖下着・ユニクロのウルトラライトダウンジャケット・スキー用の靴下とスマホ対応手袋でした。持参した服を途中の休憩所で着て、頂上でスキーウェアの上下を借りてこの上に着ました。（頂上は晴天でしたが夏にしては風があり寒い日だったそうです。これで丁度よかったです。）
私は富士山にも登ったことがなかったので、高山病が心配でしたが大丈夫でした。サンドイッチとココアを美味しくいただきました。簡単に車で頂上まで行けて絶景の景色をみる事ができます。特に満天の星空とはこの事なのだと初めて知りました。肉眼で動いている人工衛星も見る事ができました。
感動の連続です。是非お勧めします。

The crew was super nice and explained how to do everything (we had a mixed group of experienced riders and some who had not ridden a horse in decades. It was a super fun ride with breathtaking views and we learned about the history of the ranch and the surrounding area which was really interesting. All 4 of us highly recommend the tour!

This was a great outing worth every penny. Definitely wear close toed shoes and bring clothes you are okay with getting red dirt Kauaui stained! An extra towel is a good suggestion as well. Water bottle and big spray if you are going to wear shorts.
