The weather at the summit on the day was not great (blizzard), which was a bit disappointing, but... we were able to see the starry sky a little lower down. It wasn't quite a full sky, but it was moving. Masashi's tour was enjoyable and very accommodating, and I was very satisfied. However... it was unfortunate that there weren't enough rental outfits for everyone, and my partner ended up without one and looked cold.

当日の山頂の天候がイマイチ（吹雪）でちょっと残念でしたが･･･少し下ったところで星空見れました。満天･･･までとはいかなかったと思うけど感動しました。マサシさんのツアーは楽しくいたれりつくせりで大満足でした。ただ･･･貸し出ししてくれるはずのウェアが人数分なくて足りなくなってしまい、相方があぶれてしまい寒そうだったのは残念だったところ･･･。

Excellent tour. We'll worth the money. More educational than expected. We would have liked to have more time to ask questions but the two guides did a fantastic job trying to see everyone was comfortable and amazed. We would book it again just because it was one of the highlights of our vacation. A job well done.

I participated with a friend. The cold weather gear was sufficient as the reviews said, but my fingertips and toes still got cold.

At the summit, the air was thin, and I was feeling quite high-spirited, but I noticed that the guide was taking the time to remind everyone to be careful. Thanks to that, I didn’t get altitude sickness, which was a relief.

I was looking forward to the starry sky, so I was wondering how the sunset would be. It was probably my first time quietly watching it, and it left a deep impression on me.

There was a man (probably from America) who asked me to take a photo, and he said he had walked for five hours to get there. I felt that this tour is truly appreciated by ordinary people who don’t have such stamina (laughs).

By the time the stars were visible, I felt an indescribable sense of happiness. The wind was cold, but it was a great spot to see the stars, so I managed to endure it. Actually, I had stopped by a restaurant with a planetarium at Haneda Airport, so I was already prepared for the autumn starry sky! When I heard about the first magnitude star of Ursa Minor, I thought, "Oh, that one!" So, I recommend this to those heading from Haneda.

Although my night vision isn’t great, I feel like I saw about five shooting stars. They were visible to the naked eye, which was moving.

For those with a DSLR, it seemed the guide was giving detailed tips on how to take photos, so I’d definitely want to bring one along. As for me, I didn’t have one, so I left it to the guide. In any case, it’s best to leave it to a reliable professional. (Please refer to other people's photos for the starry sky.)

The guides were efficient, and I was satisfied with the photos, food, and conversation. Thank you very much, Macchan and Stefan. It was a wonderful experience that makes me want to go again.

友人と2人で参加しました。
防寒具は口コミ通り十分でしたが、やはり指先と足先は冷えますね。

山頂は空気が薄く、私の場合はテンションがハイになっていましたが、
ガイドさんは合間を見て気を付けることをみなさんに伝えているなと思いました。
おかげで高山病になりませんでした。助かりました。

星空に期待していたので、日の入りはどうかなと思っていましたが、
静かに眺める機会がおそらく初めてだったこともあり、印象深かったです。

写真をお願いと頼んできた男性（おそらくアメリカの）がいたのですが、
5時間かけて歩いて登ってきたのだとか。
そんな体力のない一般の人には、本当にありがたいツアーだなと感じました(笑)

星空が見えるころには何とも言えない幸せな気分でした。
風は冷たかったですが、星がきれいに見えるいい場所なので我慢です。
実は羽田空港で、プラネタリウム付きレストランに立ち寄っていて、
秋の星空の予習済みでした！
こぐま座の１等星と言われて「あれね！」となったので、
羽田から向かう方にはこちらもおすすめです。
夜の目がきかない方ですが、流れ星を５つぐらいは見た気がします。
肉眼で見えるんですね、感動しました。

一眼レフがある方はガイドさんが細かく撮り方のコツを教えていたようですので、
ぜひ持って参加したいですね。
そういう私は持っていませんからガイドさんまかせでしたが。
何にしても信頼できるプロに任せるのが一番ですよね。

Coming down the back side of Hana is ever so much prettier than going up, and much more challenging.

Climbing a mountain over 4,000 meters like Mount Fuji might seem daunting. However, you can actually drive to the summit of Mauna Kea. It may sound easy to just rent a car, but beyond the Onizuka Center, the road is unpaved and driving becomes quite difficult. Additionally, the oxygen levels decrease, making it dangerous to drive unless you have considerable climbing experience.

This tour reveals a world you've never seen before. While Japanese people refer to it as "goraikou" (the first sunrise), the gradually darkening sunset is exceptional.

After that, stargazing... A clear world unfolds that you can't see in the city.

富士山を超える４０００ｍ級の登山というと大変そうだと思われるともいます。
なんとマウナケアは山頂まで車で行けるんです。
じゃレンタカーでと簡単に思ってしまいますが、途中の鬼塚センターから先は舗装されておらず、運転がかなり難しい。且つ酸素が薄くなりますから、よほど登山経験でもないと運転は危険です。
このツアーで見たことのない世界が目の前に広がります。
日本人はご来光といいますが、徐々に暗くなるサンセットは格別です。

またその後の星空観察。。都会では見えないクリアーな世界が広がります。

My partner and I love stargazing, and we had high hopes of seeing the stars at the world-renowned Mauna Kea! However, since November is the rainy season, we unfortunately encountered completely cloudy skies and were unable to see almost any stars. Since this was the main highlight of our trip to Hawaii, it turned into a disappointing experience afterward. The guide was very nice and seemed well-studied, which left a good impression. Given that we are dealing with nature, it's understandable, but since the participation fee is not cheap, those planning to join during the rainy season from November should be aware that there may be days when you can't see any stars at all.

夫婦で星空が好きで、世界的に名高いマウナケアで星空が見れる!と大きな期待をしていましたが、11月は雨季ということで運悪く完全に曇ってしまい、殆ど星を見ることができませんでした。今回のハワイ旅行のメインだっただけに、その後残念な旅となってしまいました。ガイドの方はとても良い方で、よく勉強されているように見受けられて好印象でした。自然が相手だけに仕方ありませんが、参加費も安くないので、11月からの雨季に参加される方は全く星が見えない日もあることは承知しておいた方がいいですよ。

In October 2014, as usual, the Japanese tour was fully booked, so I joined this one. The guide's English explanations were at native speed, making it hard to understand, but he answered our questions slowly during meals and bathroom breaks.

While the Japanese tour seems to have meals at the Onizuka Visitor Center at an altitude of 2,800 meters to help acclimatize, this tour had meals at a "certain place" at the foot of the mountain. After a brief rest at a scenic spot, we climbed straight to the summit, so those worried about altitude sickness need to stay hydrated. Each person was given a bottle of water during the meal for this purpose.

The views of the various observatories from around the world, the sunset sinking into the sea of clouds, and the subsequent twilight were absolutely stunning. As the sun set, the cold increased, and the warm clothing provided was appreciated. After it got a bit darker, we moved near the Onizuka Visitor Center for stargazing after a bathroom break. Unlike other tours that observed within the center's grounds, we had our stargazing in a less illuminated area by the roadside.

I can't forget the beauty of the starry sky I saw at a ski resort late at night, and this sky, along with the Milky Way, was equally enjoyable. There was also stargazing with a telescope, and although the moonlight can be a nuisance for stargazing, the crescent moon this time allowed for good observation of craters through the telescope, which was actually a plus.

In this tour, out of 16 participants on one bus, only my spouse and I were Japanese. Another bus (which had the same meal location) had only one couple of newlyweds as Japanese participants. I think the Japanese tour is recommended, but this one is also a good tour overall. However, the "certain place" where we had our meal had a simple toilet, so those who are extremely particular about cleanliness should be prepared for that.

２０１４年１０月、例によって日本語ツアーが満杯でこちらに参加。ガイドさんの英語説明はネイティブスピードでほとんどわからないが、食事やトイレ時のこちらからの質問等にはゆっくり答えてくれた。
また日本語のツアーは標高２８００メートルのオニズカ・ビジターセンターで食事をしながら標高に体をならしていくようだが、こちらのツアーは麓の「とある場所」で食事をし、その後は見晴しの良いところで少し休憩はあるものの、一気に山頂まで登るため、高山病が心配な人には水分を多く取るような注意が必要だ。そのための水は食事の時に１人１ボトル配布された。
山頂での各国の天文台、雲海に沈む夕日、その後の夕焼けは文句なくすばらしかった。
日が沈むと寒さが増し、貸してくれた防寒具がありがたい。さらにすこし暗くなるとトイレの後、星空観測のためオニズカ・ビジターセンター付近に移動。こちらも他のツアーがセンター敷地内での観測になるのに対し、周りの光がより少ない道路脇の空き地での観測だった。
昔、夜中にスキー場で見た星空の素晴らしさが忘れられないが、それに匹敵する星空と天の川が堪能できた。天体望遠鏡での観測もあったが、星空観測には天敵の月の光も今回の三日月程度なら天体望遠鏡でクレーターがよく観察でき、逆によかった。
今回のツアーはバス１台に１６人の参加者中、日本人は我々夫婦２人だけでした。もう１台別のバス（食事だけ同じ場所で）も日本人参加者は１組の新婚さんのご夫婦だけでした。
日本語のツアーの方がおすすめとは思いますが、こちらも総合的に良いツアーです。
ただし、食事をいただいた上記「とある場所」は簡易トイレなので、極端に清潔好きな人はほんの少々ですが覚悟しておいた方がよいでしょう。

Just thinking that my 82-year-old mother joined this optional tour simply because she loves horses still gives me butterflies. It was truly a canyon horseback riding plan, just as described. We skillfully navigated narrow paths that barely fit the width of the horses. It's an experience I still can't believe. I wonder how we managed to return safely after walking through such a canyon with a beginner like me. We lined up for a full hour, walking slowly, but there were slopes, narrow paths, and curves, and it seemed my mother was scared until the end. She was desperately talking to the horse to keep it moving. Although they never acted up, being natural creatures, they sometimes stopped to eat grass by the side or just halted, which left us unsure of what to do. However, the horses were truly smart and safely carried us on their backs for an hour. I don't think I'll ever have an experience like this again. I highly recommend it to young people.

馬が好きだと言うことだけで82歳の母をこのオプショナルツアーに参加させたと思うと今でもドキドキします。まさに言葉通りの渓谷乗馬プラン。馬の幅も無いような狭い道を上手進みます。今でも信じられない経験です。こんな初心者を乗せてあんな渓谷を歩いてよく無事に帰ってこれたなと思います。1時間たっぷり1列に並んで、ゆっくりゆっくり歩きますが、坂道があったり細い道があったり、カーブがあったり、最後まで母は怖かったみたいです。一生けん命馬に声をかけて乗せてもらっていました。暴れたりすることは決してないのですが、やはり自然の生き物なので、わきの草を食べたり、止まってしまったりするとどうしていいかわからなくなりました。でも本当にお利口な馬たちで、無事に1時間私たちを背中に乗せて歩いてくれました。こんな経験はもうできないと思います。若い人にお勧めです。

It was great to have a relaxing morning since the activities were in the afternoon. The tour was excellent, with a knowledgeable guide and good service. The weather changed from rain the day before to clear skies, allowing us to enjoy the stunning sunset at the summit of Mauna Kea with plenty of time to spare, which was very satisfying. The stargazing after sunset was like a planetarium, with a sky full of stars. The warm beverage service was also a nice touch.

午後からのアクティビティなので、午前中ゆっくり出来て良かった。
ツアーはガイドさんの話や対応も良く天気も前日の雨から晴天になり、最高の夕日をマウナケア山頂でゆっくり時間もあり大満足でした。

星空観測もプラネタリウムかと思うぐらい満点の星空でした。温かい飲み物サービスもあり良かったです。

I signed up because I wanted to go horseback riding. There are a total of 9 participants, including the two of us. Before heading to the North Shore, we passed by the high school that Obama attended, and along the way, we were able to hear some stories that are not often shared. Our guide, Nakama, was constantly talking and was very considerate, showing that he was well-informed about history and current events in Hawaii. The horseback riding itself felt like quite a challenging course, but since an 80-year-old grandmother was able to ride, I managed to get through it safely (although I almost fell off while waiting...). I was at the front, riding behind what seemed to be the owner, a funky grandmother who was probably over 70 with long braids. She explained everything in English, but I could only understand simple words, so it would have been very educational if I had been better at English. The content of this tour was more than sufficient. More than that, meeting wonderful people like Nakama became my most cherished memory. Thank you very much.

乗馬がしたくて申込しました。私達2人含め合計9名での参加です。まずはノースショアに向かう前にオバマさんの通った高校を通ったりしながら、道中はなかなか聞けないお話をうかがえました。担当のナカマさんはずーっとしゃべりっぱなしで大変気遣いもあり、歴史やハワイの旬な情報をぬかりなくチェックしているのがわかりました。肝心の乗馬はなかなかキツイコースに感じましたが、80歳のおばあさんも乗れていたので、なんとか無事にこなせました。（待機中落馬しかけましたが・・）私が先頭で、ロング三つ編みのファンキーな70は過ぎているだろう、おばあさんのオーナーらしき人のあとにくっつき乗馬していたのですが、英語でひとつひとつ説明をしてくれているのですが、わたしには簡単な単語しかわからず、英語ができれいれば大変勉強になったはずです。このツアーの中身は充分です。それよりも、ナカマさんのような素晴らしい人たちに出会えたことが一番の思い出になりました。ありがとうございました。

I was really scared right up until the moment I jumped, but the view from 4,000 meters is exceptional! The instructor and photographer were cheerful and made the few minutes of the dive feel like a week in Hawaii! I absolutely recommend it!

Because we were off season my husband and I were the only ones that signed up for a kayaking tour - so we got a private tour with a guide. Our guide, Christian, was very friendly, familiar with the area and so helpful to have along. Being I had never kayaked before he went over safety features and the easiest way to get in and out of a kayak! The kayaking was easy (gorgeous views along the river), the hike was fun (mud up to my knees) the waterfall at the end was beautiful. It was a very successful trip and would very happily do it all again.

Last time it started to rain halfway through, but this time the weather was nice, and we were able to enjoy horseback riding at a leisurely pace. Everyone who went with me was satisfied.

前回は途中で雨が降ってきたんですが、今回は天気も良く、のんびりと乗馬を楽しむことができました。　一緒に行ったみんなも満足してました。

At first, I was anxious, but after reading the experiences of others, my husband and I thought that if they would take videos and photos, it would be worth it. Although I thought the price was high, I decided to go ahead with the purchase. It seemed that the order of the flights was determined by the combination of those who would take photos and those who wouldn’t, and we quickly got our turn. The explanations and practice were brief, which made me wonder if everything would really be okay for the actual jump. My husband’s instructor seemed to skip the practice altogether.

However, once we got on the Cessna, I was captivated by the beauty of the scenery, and my nerves began to ease. Since there were some clouds, we couldn’t ascend to the planned 4,000 meters and instead went up to 3,700 meters, but I felt it was fair that we received a cash back for that.

My instructor kept encouraging me from behind, saying things like "Beautiful, beautiful!" and "Awesome, awesome!" and called my name multiple times, which helped me relax. When it was time to take off, I was taught that the "banana position" was important, and by following that advice, I didn’t feel scared looking down and was able to let myself fall.

I was so focused on following the instructions to raise my hands and maintain the banana position that I didn’t really know what was happening. Then, the photographer waved at me, and I found myself relaxed enough to give a peace sign. Once the parachute opened, I enjoyed the beautiful scenery below, exclaiming "Beautiful! Awesome!" along the way.

I truly felt like a bird! I savored the scenery gracefully and was amazed at how long I could float in the air.

When we arrived, the photographer was already waiting below, capturing the moment perfectly. I was able to watch the video later of the moment I jumped and the blank moment during free fall, and I could see the scenery I missed at the time. It reminded me of the incredible experience I had! I can share it with my parents and friends, and I really believe it’s worth buying the video! It’s expensive, though.

However, after finishing, we had to wait for two hours for everyone who came on the same bus to finish their jumps. This downtime felt like a waste. Initially, I had signed up for another tour that didn’t have a waiting time, but it didn’t get enough participants to confirm the reservation, so I had to rebook for this tour, which made me feel like time was precious.

Also, the tip was stated to be around 10-15%, but it seemed predetermined to give $20 to the instructor, $20 to the photographer, and $25 to the bus driver. I paid that, but when I added up the video costs, I thought I could have jumped again with that amount, resulting in a significant expense. However, thanks to the video, I can relive that excitement anytime, so I am ultimately satisfied. It was a great experience. Thank you!

初めは、不安でしたが、体験談を読ませて頂き、主人も私もビデオも写真も撮ってくれるなら、価値アリだな～と思い、値段は高いとは思いましたが、購入を希望しました。写真を撮る人と、撮らない人との組み合わせで、飛ぶ便の順番が決まるようで、私たちは、すぐに順番が回ってきて、説明も練習もあっさりと終わり、これで本当に本番は大丈夫なのかと、不安がありました。主人のインストラクターは練習さえなかったようです。
でもセスナに乗ると、景色の美しさに見とれ、緊張がほぐれてきました。雲が少しかかっていたので、予定の4000メートルまで上がる事ができず、3700メートル地点からになったとの事で、その分後でキャッシュバックがありましたので、良心的だな～と感じました。
私のインストラクターの方は、後ろから声を何度もかけてくれ、キレイ、キレイ～、サイコー、サイコー、とか、名前も何度も呼びかけてくれ、リラックスできました。
いざ、飛び立つ時も、海老反りが大切と教えられたので、教え通り海老反りになってたら、下を見る怖さがなく、身を委ねる形で落ちて行きました。
もう、何が何だか、わからないままに、教えられた通り、手を前にあげ海老反りの体制を作る事に必死でした。そしたら、目の前をカメラマンが手を振ってくれ、すぐにピースサインが出来る程の余裕が出てきて、パラシュートが開いてからは、下の景色の美しさを、キレイー、サイコーと一緒にいいながら、楽しみました。
本当に鳥になった気分です！優雅な気持ちでゆっくりと景色を堪能し、こんなに長い時間浮かんでられるのか～と感心するほど、空を飛んでいるという実感を味わえました。

到着場面も先に降りて待ってくれているので、ばっちり撮れてましたし、とにかく、飛び降りる瞬間とフリーフォールの時の頭真っ白の瞬間を、ビデオで後で見る事ができ、その時みれなかった景色もビデオで見れますし、改めて、すごい事をしたんだーと思い出させてくれます！
親や友達にも見てもらえるし、最高の思い出が残るので、ビデオは買う価値ありだと、本当に思います！！高いけど。

でも終わってから、同じバスで来た人皆が飛び終わるのを待つこと２時間。
このロスタイムが勿体ないのですが。
初めはもう一つの待ち時間無しの方のツアーを申し込みしていたのですが、人数が集まらなくて、予約が確定ならず、仕方なくこちらのツアーで申し込みをし直しましたが、やはり、時間が惜しいなと感じました。
それと、チップもこちらの説明で10～15％ほどと書いてありますが、インストラクター２０ドル、カメラマン２０ドル、バスの運転手２５ドルと決まっているかのように書かれてあり、払いましたが、結果ビデオ代やらと合わせたら、もう一回飛べるじゃんと思い、結果的にすごい出費になりましたが、手元にあるビデオのお陰で、あの感動がいつでも蘇らせれるので、結果満足しています。
良い経験ができました。ありがとうございました。

The online reservation process was very smooth, so I was very satisfied. However, on the day of the event, I waited for an hour in front of the hotel at the meeting time. Since I couldn't use my phone overseas, I was really anxious while waiting to see if they would actually come. It turned out that there was a mix-up that caused the delay, but then at the skydiving location, we were further delayed and treated as if we were last in line, which made my friend and me chuckle. When I booked scuba diving with the same company, everything went smoothly, so perhaps I was just unlucky with the skydiving experience, but it was a bit disappointing.

ネットでの予約に関してはすごくスムーズに行っていただけたので、とても満足しています。が、当日待ち合わせ時間にホテルの前で待っていたら1時間待たされました。海外で電話も使えない状態だったので本当に来るのか待っている間はずっと不安でした。手違いで迎えが遅れたのことでしたが、その後スカイダイビングを行う場所でも遅れたためにたらい回し状態にされ更に遅れて来たからとの理由で現場の人にも全て後回しにされ友人と苦笑い。笑 同じ会社でスキューバダイビングを予約した時は全てがスムーズだったので、たまたまスカイダイビングの時は運が悪かったのかもしれませんが少し残念でした。

Before heading to the North Shore, we stopped by places like the Dole Plantation, enjoyed garlic shrimp, and saw turtles. The final activity was horseback riding, which was packed with fun. The horseback riding along the beach was the highlight of this trip for me. It was such a relaxing experience, and I think even beginners can participate with confidence. I would love to join again when I come to Hawaii!

ノースショアに行くまでにドールプランテーションなど立ち寄ってガーリックシュリンプも食べれてカメも見れて最後は乗馬と盛りだくさんのプランでした。
特に最後の乗馬は今回の旅行で一番楽しかったです。海辺をゆっくりと乗馬しながらの時間はとても心地いい時間で、初心者でも安心して参加できると思いました。
ハワイに来たらまた参加したいと思います！

Since there are few mentions about the bus, let me add some information.
Please take the number 55 bus from Ala Moana Center. It runs about once an hour. If you get off at Kualoa Ranch, you'll be right in front of the ranch.
If you're unsure, you can tell the driver when you get on, and they will stop for you.
The bus takes about an hour and a half, and sometimes the air conditioning can be too strong, so it's good to have something to wear.
Horseback riding is wonderful, to the point where the theme song of Jurassic Park comes to mind as a hum.
My wife found it a bit painful on her backside, though...
The 11:45 AM ride finishes, and while preparing to leave, it becomes past 2 PM.
It seems that lunch sets are available until 2 PM, but if you go even a little past that, you can only order hamburgers... I understand the staff is busy, but I wish they could be a bit more flexible.
The burgers are delicious, but one set is a bit too much for women.
For a couple, two burgers are filling enough to keep you satisfied until a light dinner.
To catch the return bus, walk to the covered bus stop and go right from the road in front.

バスについて書かれてる方が少ないので、補足しますね。
アラモアナセンターから55番のバスに乗ってください。一時間に一本くらいのペースで出てます。クアロアランチで降りれば牧場前です。
不安なら乗るときに運転手さんに伝えると停めてくれました。
バスは一時間半くらいかかって車内はクーラーきき過ぎのことがあるので羽織れるものあったがいいですよ。
乗馬は自然にジェラシックパークのテーマ曲が鼻歌で出るほどすばらしいです。
奥さんはお尻が痛くなってましたが。。
11時45分からの分は終わっていろいろ帰る準備していると２時を過ぎます。
食事は2時まではランチセットがある模様ですが、少しでも過ぎるとハンバーガーしか頼めなくなります。。。おばちゃん忙しいのはわかるけどもう少し融通利かせて欲しいものです。
バーガーはおいしいですが、女性にワンセットは少し多いですね。
夫婦で二個、満腹で夜は軽くてすむぐらい腹持ちします。
帰るバスは屋根のあるバス停で正面の道から歩いていって右へ。

Excursion was awesome. Staff was wonderful. Lots of great ziplining. Would definitely do this again.

My husband and I are both slightly scared of heights, but this was just amazeballs! Wasn't scary at all (maybe the van ride out, a bit...). It's like sitting in a swing. Had a good time with our group, and got to taste some fresh bananas, ginger nectar, and sugar cane on the farmland we were traversing. Great fun, wish we could have done more than 7 lines, though,

I participated in the Mauna Kea Summit Sunset & Stargazing Tour, and the driver, Matsuchan, started by introducing himself. He is from Noda City, Chiba Prefecture, and upon hearing that, it felt like he was someone from my own area.

Moreover, he worked hard to make the tour enjoyable, creating wonderful memories for us. During the commemorative photo session with the constellations in the background, there were a few clouds, so we couldn't see the Milky Way, but the sunset was amazing!

何か他人には思えない、近くの出身者でした。
　又、ツアーも一生懸命に盛り上げて頂き大変良い思い出になりました。
星座をバックに記念撮影時にはわずかに雲が残り、天の川を見ることは出来ませんでしたが、サンセットはさいこうでしたよ。

A few years ago, I participated in a tour with another company and it rained, so I joined this time for a revenge tour, but it rained again. I was added to the list for a free next time, and I thought the response was good compared to the previous tour with the other company. I planned to try again the next day, but I received a call just before noon that day saying there was about a 50% chance of rain, so I decided to save the revenge for my next trip. As a result, I was able to enjoy a nice dinner in Lahaina while watching a beautiful sunset. Thanks to the follow-up communication, I was able to spend a meaningful time. In the future, I think it would be good if you could inform us of the rain forecast based on the latest local weather when participating in the tour, so we can be mentally prepared. It seems that Maui's climate has also been unstable in recent years, so I plan to try again during the high probability of sunny weather from May to August.

数年前、他社のツアーに参加して雨だったのでリベンジでの参加でしたがまた雨になってしまいました。次回無料のリストにのせてもらい、前回の他社のツアーに比較して、良い対応と思いました。翌日にリベンジする予定でしたが、当日昼前に連絡があり、また雨の可能性が半分くらいあるということでしたので、リベンジは次回の旅行で期すこととしました。そのためその日はラハイナで夕食をとりながら綺麗な夕日を見ることができました。フォローの連絡のおかげで有意義な時間を過ごせました。今後はツアー参加時に、雨の見込みを直近の現地天気からお知らせいただければ心の準備ができ良いと思います。近年マウイの気候も安定していないようなので、次回は晴れの確率の高い５－８月にリベンジしようと思います。

Great tour guide amazing experience the best view on earth

Skydiving was an experience I had always wanted to try. The incredible views were something I had never experienced before. There was no time to be scared as I jumped out quickly. Once in the air, it was so much fun!! I felt amazing.

My husband, who was reluctant at first, became a different person after landing. He was so excited, saying he wanted to jump again even though he had just done it!

I think it's worth buying the photos and videos as they make great keepsakes. You can enjoy that wonderful experience even after returning home, so I highly recommend it.

For those who want to make the most of their time, participating with a rental car is a good idea. The weather can affect things, so it took quite a while.

The guide was also entertaining, and there's no doubt he will become legendary in many ways. Mr. Mickey's history is impressive!

体験したことがない素晴らしい景色。
怖がってる暇がないくらいさっと飛び降ります。
飛んでからはとっても楽しい！！最高な気分です。

写真、ムービーは記念になりますので買ったほうがいいと思います。
あの素敵な体験が帰ってきた後でも楽しめるのでオススメです。

時間を有効に使いたい方は、レンタカーでの参加が良いと思います。
天気が影響しますので、けっこう時間がかかりました。

案内人の方も面白く、色んな意味で伝説になること間違いないです。

The weather was bad, and we couldn't climb Mauna Kea. There's really no other way to express how disappointing that is. However, our guide did their best to make sure we enjoyed ourselves by finding a spot where we could see the sunset and taking us to a place where we might be able to see the stars.

If I have the chance to go back to the Big Island, I would like to try again.

天候が悪く、マウナケアには登れませんでした。こればっかりは残念としか言い様がありません。ただ、ガイドさんは私たちツアーの参加者に何とか楽しんでもらえるよう夕日が見える場所を探してくれたり、星が見えそうな場所に連れていってくれました。

またハワイ島に行く機会があればリベンジしたいと思います。

A few years ago, I experienced beach horseback riding and canyon horseback riding, and those enjoyable moments have stayed in my heart. I wanted to participate again to relive that excitement while I'm still energetic.

I was worried that the tour would be canceled since I had booked it for a weekend when a rare typhoon hit Oahu, but it ended safely despite the heavy rain. Eleven participants of various ages joined in, with the ocean waves crashing and rain pouring down.

It was a 45-minute ride while wearing the borrowed helmet and raincoat. My pants and shoes were soaked, and my makeup was washed away, making it an unforgettable experience. I appreciated the thoughtful care provided by the four women who took care of us.

もう一度、元気なうちにあのワクワク感を味わいたくて参加しました。
　めったに来ない台風がオアフ島を襲った週末日を予約していたので、きっとツアーが
キャンセルになるのではと心配しましたが、大雨の中、無事終了してよかったです。
海の波も荒々しく、吹き付ける雨の中、年齢もさまざまな11名が参加しました。
お借りしたヘルメット、合羽を着ての45分でした。ズボン、靴はずぶぬれ、お化粧も落ち
忘れられない体験になりました。
お世話をしてくださった女性達4名の細かい配慮がうれしかったです。

I chose this tour because the sunset is more beautifully crimson than the sunrise, and it was simply easier to participate at that time of day.

On the day of the tour, I was worried that it might be canceled due to the effects of the hurricane, as the view of Haleakalā from the hotel was covered in clouds. However, my concerns were unfounded. As we began to ascend the mountain by car, the clouds became a thing of the past around 2000 meters, and above that, we were greeted with a clear blue sky.

By the time we welcomed the bright red sunset, the temperature dropped significantly, and I put on the down coat provided by the tour to enjoy the breathtaking view.

At this point, the other tour guests had disappeared, leaving just us at the summit. The second part of the tour was about to begin. Our guide, Mr. Yamauchi, had advised us not to look at the sky, and I understood why. The night sky was filled with stars, the Milky Way, and shooting stars welcoming us. We observed the Andromeda Galaxy, red stars, binary stars, and more through a high-resolution telescope. Mr. Yamauchi's clear explanations sparked a sense of curiosity in me that I hadn't felt since childhood.

I climbed Haleakalā during the day 15 years ago, but I was introduced to a completely different Haleakalā by Mr. Yamauchi, and I was very satisfied.

朝日よりも夕日の方が茜色がきれいということ、そして単に時間帯が参加しやすかったことからこのツアーを選びました。

当日はハリケーンの影響で、ホテルからハレアカラ山を望むと雲で覆われ、ツアーが中止になるのではないかと心配しましたが危惧に終わりました。車で山を登り始めると、2000mを超えるあたりから雲は下界のものとなり、それ以高では碧空に変わりました。

やがて真っ赤な夕日を迎える頃になると、気温も一段と下がりツアーで準備してくれたダウンのコートを着込んで、絶景を楽しみました。

この頃になると、他のツアー客はいなくなり山頂には我々だけが取り残されました。
いよいよツアー第２部の始まりです。
ガイドの山内さんには空を見ないように注意されていましたが、その意味が判りました。
夜空には満天の星と天の川、そして流れ星が我々を迎えてくれています。高解像度の望遠鏡でアンドロメダ星雲や赤星、連星などなどを観測。山内さんの判りやすい説明もあり、子供の頃の好奇心がこの年になって芽生えました。

１５年も前に昼のハレアカラ山に登りましたが、その時とは全く違うハレアカラ山をガイドの山内さんに紹介して頂き、大満足でした。

The trip was truly amazing! We love nature, so we truly enjoyed the trip. Our guide was very knowledgeable. The road was narrow and sometimes scary, but our driver was very skilled and careful. Highly recommended!

I participated with my parents. The Mauna Kea Stargazing Tour seems to be quite popular, and although I asked a travel agency to make a reservation, they couldn't secure one, so I booked online for the first time.

At first, I was filled with anxiety about whether it would be okay, but the guide and all the staff were kind, and I was able to enjoy the experience without any problems.

Regarding my concerns, since it was a meet-up at the location, I was worried about how to get there, but I used a taxi. Once I told the driver the name of the company at the meeting point, they understood right away.

I was prepared for no return transportation, but I was pleasantly surprised to be taken back to the Keauhou Hotel. I think it would be reassuring if it were noted that "return transportation is included."

During the drive, I saw that the mountain was covered in clouds from below, but since the car passed above the clouds, it makes sense that the summit has a high rate of clear weather. Also, the road near the top was unpaved, and there was a broken-down car along the way. I really don't think it would be feasible with a rental car. I felt a little bit of altitude sickness, with a slight headache, but overall, I was fine.

We arrived at the summit just in time for sunset and were able to see the sun setting into the sea of clouds, which was very magical.

As for the stars, since it was a new moon, they were incredibly beautiful. It was my first time seeing the Milky Way so clearly. The chocolate brownies and warm drinks during the observation were also very delicious.

The only downside was that everything was in English. The most challenging part was the phone call. I had to confirm the reservation by phone before the day of the tour, but when I tried to call, I couldn't communicate, so I ended up asking the travel agency for help. Additionally, since my parents don't speak any English, I think they had a hard time understanding the guide's explanations.

However, unlike Oahu, where there are mostly Japanese people, the other participants in the tour came from various countries, which made me feel like I was truly traveling abroad. I think it’s worth participating even if it’s not in Japanese.

I'm not a spokesperson for the tour company, but I believe you'll be more than satisfied with the tour price! I highly recommend it!

両親と三人で参加しました。マウナケア星空ツアーは人気なようで旅行代理店に予約をお願いしたがとれず、はじめて、インターネットで予約しました。
最初は、本当に大丈夫かなと不安でいっぱいでしたが、ガイドさん、スタッフの皆さんは親切で、
全く問題なく楽しんで参加できました。
不安だなと感じた点について、
現地集合ということもあり、どうやって現地まで行こうか悩みましたがタクシーを利用しました。
集合場所の会社名を伝えたらすぐにわかってもらえました。
また、帰りの送迎が無いと覚悟していたのですが、しっかり、ケアウホウのホテルまで送って頂けました。「帰りの送迎あり」と記載して頂けると安心できると思います。
車での移動ですが、下から山を見たら雲に覆われていたのですが、車は、雲の上を通過していくため山頂の晴天率が高いこともうなずけます。また、頂上付近の道は、舗装されておらず、途中、故障車が停まっていました。やはり、レンタカーでは無理だと思います。高山病も、すこし頭が痛いかなと思ったりもしましたが、特に大丈夫でした。
山頂には、しっかり夕日の時間に到着し雲海に沈む夕日を見ることができ、とても幻想的でした。
肝心の星空ですが、
新月ということもあり,とても綺麗でした。天の川をあんなにはっきり見たのは、はじめてでした。
また、観測中のチョコブラウニーとあたたかい飲み物は、とっても美味しかったです。
一つだけ残念なのは、すべて英語ということです。
一番困ったのは、電話です。前日までに予約確認の電話をしなければならないため、電話をしてみたものの伝わらず、結局旅行代理店の方にお願いしました。
また、両親は全く英語ができないためガイドさんの説明が？？？だったと思います。
しかし、日本人ばかりいるオアフ島と違って一緒にいったツアーの皆さんも様々な国からお見えになっていて、海外旅行にきたと言う感じがして良かったのかなと、見方をかえれば言えなくもないです。
日本語じゃないからとあきらめず、参加してみるのもいいと思います。
ツアー会社の回し者じゃありませんが、、ツアー料金以上に満足できると思います！
オススメですよ！！
