It was a tour affected by the weather, so I was worried until the day of the event, but I was able to enjoy the wonderful sunset at Mauna Kea, which I couldn't have reached on foot, as well as the starry sky and the Milky Way. With the guide's explanations, I was able to clearly identify the constellations, and I found the stories very interesting.

We participated as a family of four, and my daughters were so moved that they almost cried. The temperature at the summit was low, so I couldn't take photos with my own camera or smartphone after a certain point, but the guide assisted with photography, and I was able to download the photos taken by the guide later (they responded quickly to my request), leaving me with many wonderful memories. We wear a bit Leary of scheduling this excursion- but had heard great things about it- it was a cold overcast morning and we thought that would be miserable but we had a great time! Great tour guides kept us entertained and having fun- felt super safe the entire time and glad we booked it! Nice lunch at the end and fun scenic ride on the way in and back out. We’ll be back with the family for sure.

We experienced riding through the forest and along the coast from the golf course. I think it lasted about an hour, which was just right. On the way back, we also stopped at a coffee shop for a restroom break, and I was very satisfied. I would like to participate again.

We had a horseback riding experience in the morning as a family of three. It was everyone's first time, but we had a lot of fun. The blue sky and green scenery were amazing, and we spent about two hours on a spacious ranch. At times, we even trotted, which was thrilling, and my daughter enjoyed it as well. At higher altitudes, we entered the clouds, and the guide explained everything in clear English while being considerate of everyone's situation, which made us feel at ease. I recommend the 2.5-hour plan. It was a wonderful experience! I want to go again!

While I was signing the consent form and choosing a helmet, a video about how to handle the horses and safety precautions was playing, so I couldn't watch it much, and since it was my first time riding, I felt very anxious.

I thought I would be able to ride along the beach of Kaneohe Bay as shown in the pictures, but I could only see it from a great distance. Also, it mentioned, "You must have seen that famous tree from the 'What tree is that?' commercial," and I thought I would be able to see that big tree, but I couldn't. (I also couldn't find the monkey pod tree.)

The riding itself was a bit nerve-wracking at first, but the horse was very cute and I had a lot of fun. ^_^ Other people's horses had some unexpected moments, like stopping to eat grass or going to the bathroom. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

I finally got to try skydiving in Hawaii, which was my number one thing to do! My partner, who can't even ride roller coasters, smiled and said this was something completely different—it was amazing!

We took a bus around 4:30 AM and spent about an hour on the ride while filling out consent forms. After arriving, we received a 10-minute briefing and waited about 20 to 30 minutes before being called by our assigned instructor.
*There was a food truck selling light snacks for breakfast, but since it was a one-person operation, there was quite a wait.

We received a briefing from the instructor about the dive and what to do upon landing before boarding the Cessna. It took about 10 to 15 minutes to reach the dive point. After that, you’ll just have to experience it for yourself!

By around 11 AM, we were back on the bus and arrived at the hotel before noon. I tipped the instructor $20 and the driver $10.

We had such a blast! I was a little worried that it was just going to be a float in water from point A to B. But boy was I wrong! We had the beat guide Jonny! He was so much fun and knowledgeable about the island. Going through the tunnels were more amazing than I thought and never once did we feel claustrophobic. I participated in a beginner mountain biking course. It was a tour where we rode down the mountain on mountain bikes. First, we were driven to the starting point. After adjusting the sizes of the bikes and helmets, we had some time to practice, so it was fine even if it had been a while since I last rode a bike. The downhill ride was very refreshing as I felt the wind rushing past me. The course was from 12 to 3 PM, but since we stopped at various points to take photos and rest, the time flew by. I was able to enjoy the wonderful scenery and the negative ions, which was a lot of fun, different from being at the beach. As a side note, due to the impact of COVID-19, the park where we were supposed to have lunch was closed, so we received water, sandwiches, and snacks and were taken back to the hotel about 30 minutes earlier than planned. I regret that I was so flustered that I forgot to give a tip. I would like to challenge myself with the intermediate and advanced courses next time, so I look forward to it.

マウンテンバイクの初級コースに参加しました。マウンテンバイクで山を下るツアー。まず車でスタート地点まで連れて行ってもらいます。バイクやヘルメットのサイズ調整をしたあと少し練習をする時間もあるので、自転車が久しぶりでも大丈夫でした。ダウンヒルは、風を切って走って行くのがとても爽快でした。12-15時のコースでしたが、要所要所では自転車を止めて撮影したり休憩もしつつだったのであっという間です。素晴らしい景色とマイナスイオンを感じられて、ビーチとはまた違ってとても楽しかったです。余談ですが、新型コロナの影響でランチを食べる予定だった公園が閉鎖されていたので、お水とサンドイッチ、スナックを貰って当初予定より30分ほど早くホテルに送迎してもらいました。バタバタしていてチップを渡し忘れてしまったことが悔やまれます。今度は中級・上級コースに挑戦したいと思うので、またよろしくお願いします。

釣った魚はサイズが小さいとリリース。大きいものはフレーバーソルトで味付けして焼いてくれましたが釣れなかった方たちは遠慮して食べてなかったみたいでした。
最近、催行日が減ったようで、やめないでほしいなと思い、かなり日が経ちましたが体験談を投稿しました。
今回、新型コロナがなければ、またこのオプショナルツアーに参加しようと思っていたのであきらめざる負えず残念な気持ちでいっぱいです。

We participated in a 2-hour course without transportation for 5 people. Since taking the shuttle would mean a longer wait time, we drove there with a rental car. It takes about an hour from Waikiki. This time, we went to the outlet in the morning, so we arrived in less than an hour from there. Our start time was scheduled for 3 PM, but since we arrived early, they changed it to start at 2:30 PM. Kualoa has been the filming location for various movies, and both the mountains and the ocean offer stunning views. Although there are quite a few days with bad weather, we were fortunate to have nice weather this time. It's not often that I get the chance to go horseback riding in Japan, so it was enjoyable. The horses remember the course, and they provide instructions on how to operate them, so there's no need to worry. If you want to store your belongings, there are lockers available. I think it was $5.

I had one of the best time here at the Kualoa Ranch! Although the request I had for a specific time and date was unavailable, a receptionist was able to call and inform me of so. She was able to work with me and was able to fit me and my friend in! She was very nice and informative. I would definitely advise to book in advance of atleast 5 days!

As for the whole experience during our tour was beyond amazing! The tour was beautiful and showed us different scenes of multiple films they produced with a cute little jurassic park video for us! :) Would definitely highly recommend this activity one for the books!! :)

This time, we requested to meet on-site, and after a 1.5-hour drive from Kailua Kona, we crossed off-road rivers while having conversations (in our hearts) with the wonderful horses, saw trumpet flowers, taro fields, and the mysterious valley. Three out of five people in our group went to Hawaii. I watched from below.

Since the pickup time was around 4 AM and two people weren't participating, we went by rental car instead of having a shuttle. We left around 6 AM.

It seemed the weather had been bad for the past few days, and many cancellations had occurred, but fortunately, we were able to depart right away without waiting.

We arrived at the point in about 15 minutes by plane and started diving one after another. The sound of the wind was so loud that it seems I jumped without hearing the count.

The observers asked about the color of the parachutes and watched as they came down.

It was amazing!! All three were very satisfied. However, one person said the parachute spun and made them feel unwell. They suggested telling them not to spin it before starting. One person said they saw a whale.

There are additional fees for photo and video shooting. One person was filming, and the editing was interesting and good. They started filming before we took off.

最高だった！！と３人とも大満足でした。
ただパラシュートが回転して具合が悪かったそうです。始まる前に回さないでと伝えたらいいそうです。１人はクジラが見えたそうです。

写真撮影とビデオ撮影は別途有料であります。１人ビデオ撮影をしていましたが、編集も面白くてよかったです。飛ぶ前から撮影してました。

終わったらチップの支払いがあるので現金は忘れずに持参してください。ATMも設置してあるようでした。ロッカーなどもあるようです。

I participated in the tour on February 26 after learning that the summit of Mauna Kea had reopened. The weather was perfect, and it was an incredible experience watching the sunset from the summit and observing the starry sky. The ATV tour was great! I know some people were scared to ride the vehicle, but I love a but of adrenaline. So I left wanting more! But we had to stick to the track and keep in a single file. The views are just superb and wish we had more time to soak that in.
Our guide was awesome and took some really cool pictures of us. He was from South America.

Wailua River Kayak & Secret Falls Hike - Guided Kauai Adventure

Jay was our guide and he couldn't have been more awesome. He's a local and a bit of a botanist so he was very knowledgeable and truly happy to take us on the tour. The kayak to the hike was fairly easy for two inexperienced kayakers as we were flowing down stream. The hike was fairly easy for non-experienced hikers. We went during the rainy season so it was very muddy, so it was a bit slick in spots, but that's part of what made it fun. The waterfall was astounding. So tall and powerful. Well worth the hike to see it's beauty. The lunch provided was enjoyable. The kayak trip back was a bit of a challenge as you're going upstream, but once you hit a nice flow, it becomes much easier. I would definitely recommend this excursion to anyone visiting the island looking for a little adventure!

I finally fulfilled a long-time dream of mine: skydiving, which I did while accompanying my son on his graduation trip in Hawaii. The time flew by, but the view from the sky was breathtaking and magnificent, something I had never seen before. It was truly amazing. The moment of freefall was incredibly scary, though!

Since the Cessna flies backward against the direction of travel, those who are prone to motion sickness should definitely take anti-nausea medication. You'll also need some small cash (bills) for tips. Since it's early in the morning, if you get hungry, there are food trucks selling hamburgers and other items, but they are cash only.

It was a vast and sacred place, a movie filming location, and horseback riding with wonderful scenery was the best. The horse was smart and seemed experienced, so I could trust it completely without giving too many instructions; it was such a lovely horse. Just one thing… after two hours of riding, my backside started to hurt.
