First Timers vs. Veteran Luau
Reviewed by: Cynthia Haynes, 2022/03/20For those of us who had been to previous luaus this experience was amazing. The attention to history and story telling was very interesting. The costumes, dances and national history was educational as well as entertaining. (Especially the fire dancer!) Some of our friends had never been to a luau before and also thought it was wonderful. The food was presented beautifully and delicious. (The drinks were excellent too!) We even tried the poi because this was the first time it had ever been explained to us how to eat it and with what food combination. The location was easy to find and parking was ample. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great experience for our group of six and would highly recommend this event.

Fun First Night on the Island
Reviewed by: Wendy, 2022/03/08Going to the luau was a great way to kick off our trip to Hawaii learning about the history and culture, traditions and customs. Staff were attentive, meal was varied to allow for local cuisine and picky eaters in the group ( who knew Chick nuggets and Mac was customary but a fan fav for the kids!). Banana bread delicious. The show entertaining and ambiance pretty overlooking the water.

It was perfect: the food was fine , not Grand but I just am a picky eater so I think it was fine. The show was awesome !!! Well done! The host of the show did a good job also : getting old so his voice wasn’t fantastic but who cares .

Family fun
Reviewed by: Karen , 2022/03/02Overall, this was a good experience for my family. We went with 3 kids and 6 adults including grandparents. The food was tasty, but not a lot of choices for picky eaters. The show was fun and the kids were thrilled by the fire dancer! Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, they did not have any pre-event activities to keep the kids engaged. My daughter really wanted to learn to hula dance as advertised, but they did not have it the night we went. I cannot fault them for taking Covid precautions. Again, overall, the whole family walked away from this happy and with good memories.

excellent experience for those with disabilities.
Reviewed by: Joline, 2022/02/28Incredible experience. Was concerned about the cost but definitely well worth it. They went above and beyond to make the to her accessible for my daughter who has cerebral palsy and challenges walking. The pilot was phenomenal with his knowledge base and engaging us in answering questions. Doing the early morning tour was also great as we did not have a whole lot of clouds and the weather was great.

Nice ride but watch the front seat upgrade.
Reviewed by: Mike, 2022/02/12No doubt the ride itself was amazing! We were able to see a ton of the Big Island and our pilot was great.
However, the interaction at the desk was a little shady. When we arrived we had four in our party plus another passenger who was also assigned to our group. As we checked in the receptionist asked if we wanted to upgrade as the two front seats were still available. First off, that seems strange since there are only four seats across the back - obviously someone in a group of five would need a front seat. The problem came when one in my group wanted to upgrade to the front. They charged the full amount for both front seats. Then the receptionist pulled the single passenger to the side, giving her a "free" upgrade to the other front seat... great for her! If it would have been explained that the full price for both seats would be charged then another from my group would have taken the other front rather than give it away. I understand they have to distribute weight, etc. but the way it was handled was less than desirable. It's unfortunate that a shady sales experience soured an otherwise great day.

Such a great experience!

Perfect birthday celebration

The staff was wonderful, the waiters were attentive and friendly. There will definitely be a next time to the island. The acknowledgment of birthdays, anniversaries and honeymooners was a joy to see. I met one of the birthday girls and a newly married couple it was a pleasure to celebrate with them all. ALOHA!!

Majestic Oceanfront Celebration

Reviewed by: eburatto, 2021/10/20This was our first luau experience and it did not disappoint! We were all very pleased with the friendliness of the staff, the beautiful location, the delicious food, and the spectacular show. It was really entertaining!
Just one thing I found odd was that the Mai Tais felt "virgin". I am a very light drinker, and I get tipsy with 2 glasses of wine, but I had 5 Mai Tais and I was completely sober... weird. They were delicious though! That's why I had 5 :)

The staff went above and beyond to make sure that Covid restrictions were in place and the experience was not compromised. Each party had their own table that was 6 feet apart. The food was fantastic and fresh! The drinks were good as well! And the star of the show was the music, dancers and the master of ceremonies! They all really put their aloha into the show! Thank you for a great experience.

Not what I expected

Food but thanks for trying. The deserts were soggy and lacked flavor. For the total experience, this was way over priced and disappointing.I don’t think I would recommend this luau to my friends due to the food.

family fun

The staff were so accommodating to my daughter (1.5yo). She loved the show and even tried to Hula. We were also celebrating my moms 77th birthday and she loved it too. The best buffet of hawaii's essential plates and desserts too. I would definitely would go back.
