One of the best experiences ever. Amazing views, amazing staff, amazing horses, amazing waterfall...I couldn't have asked for a better experience for our wedding party.

Family trip we stayed at King Kamehameha’s Beach Resort. We researched other Kona area Luaus and found this one to be well rated. We really liked the convenience of just walking over from the hotel. The Luau was very well organized in checking people in, helping you find your assigned seats. Great idea on that! Really simplified what could be mass chaos without assigned seating. Food lines and offerings were well organized and kept well stocked. Food was fresh and tasteful. Drink lines moved quickly. The music and show was very entertaining . Lots of fun. Again, well organized and presented well. Very enjoyable evening.

This tour was everything I was hoping for, and more. Our tour guide Henry was amazing. His storytelling was so engaging and entertaining and we didn’t just get to see beautiful places, we also learned a lot about the history of the people and the island. If you are looking for a safe and fun way to get to experience several highlights from the Big Island, learn more about the culture and just have an overall insanely enjoyable and memorable experience, I highly recommend this tour.
We were staying on Oahu and they made all of our flight arrangements, provided a delicious local meal and plenty of snacks and somehow made it back in plenty of time for our evening flight back over to Oahu. We were amazed at how much we were able to see and do all in one day. It is an experience that my family and I will treasure.
Also, one note in case you are concerned - there are plenty of bathroom stops along the way.

We moved by boat to board the submarine that was anchored offshore. The staff seemed very friendly, but they didn't understand English... We were able to see a lot of fish, but perhaps our expectations were too high, as we found it a bit lacking.

沖合に停泊している潜水艦まで船で移動して乗船します。スタッフの方はとてもフレンドリーな感じでしたが、英語がわからないので…。魚もたくさん見ることができました。が、期待値が高すぎたのか私たちには物足りなかったです。

The boat was beautiful. The workers were attentive, kind, and the caption was experienced and did a great job. The only thing that made me feel uncomfortable was the prayer they did and it was not short. They asked us to give an offering a leaf (they gave us) from a plant to put in the ocean. I do not practice polytheistic religion and did not want to partake it this. It’s a snorkeling tour I found it to be an over reach.

The whole experience was extremely memorable, from the minute we arrived. Our tour guide, Derrian, was absolutely amazing. Even though it was just my daughter and I on this experience, she provided a lot of history of the ranch, took us to the top where we got to see some amazing views, and gave us the opportunity to gallop with our horses (never done that before). Overall, I would recommend this adventure to all my friends and family that travel to the Big Island. Not only do you get to experience horseback riding, but you also get great service, which is worth the money.

Over the years we have brought our grandchildren here to swim with the Dolphins. Each time it has been a great experience for them and we end up spending the day there.

My husband, who loves horseback riding, and my son were both eager to try this activity. The weather was perfect on the day of our ride, with clear skies and a lovely atmosphere. They chose a horse for me based on my riding level. Since I was almost a beginner, they assigned me a very gentle horse. I later learned that this horse had previously appeared in a JAL commercial with Jun Hasegawa. The two staff members were very attentive, so I didn't feel unsafe at all and had a great time. I would love to participate again if the opportunity arises.

乗馬の好きな夫、息子が絶対やりたいと言っていたアクティビティ。
当日天気も快晴でとても気持ちが良かった。
乗馬のレベルで乗る馬を決めてくれました。私は乗馬はほぼ初めてだったのでとてもお利口さんの馬にしてくれました。
後から聞いた話ですが、以前長谷川潤さんとJALのCMに出た馬だったそう。
お姉さん2人がよく見てくれたので特に危ないと言ったこともなく楽しめました。
また機会があれば参加したいです。

I experienced it for the first time. Everything was wonderful, and it was a lovely show. The buffet was also very delicious. For guests with children, there were high chairs available, so I think families can enjoy it too.

子連れのお客さんには幼児用の椅子もあって、家族連れでも楽しめると思います。

No Big island adventure is complete without this Stargazing experience!!! These guys did an excellent job of accommodating our party of 20 - ranging from 4 to 63. They recommended and we rebooked for a 3 AM time due to the new moon and cloud cover - DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Even at that time the kids were alert and engaged. The hospitality was amazing and the pictures are breathtaking.

I was a bit confused because there were supposed to be Japanese staff, but they were not present. It might have been part of the performance on the way to the location by boat, but it was quite intense, and my wife injured her finger on the boat. I also ended up with a whiplash-like pain in my neck and back. On the water, a female staff member was very helpful. We were able to see the manta rays rolling, but if the position of the lights had been adjusted a bit more, I think we could have observed them up close without clustering in one spot.

居るはずの日本語のスタッフがいなかったので少し戸惑った。ボートで現地に行く途中パフォーマンスかもしれないが激しかったので妻が船上で指をケガした、自分も首と腰がムチ打ちのようになった、
海上では女性の方が丁寧に補助してくれた。肝心のマンタのローリングはよく見れたが、照らすライトの位置をもっと工夫したら、1ヶ所に片寄らず近くで観察出来たと思う。

The tour had just over 20 people, and my friend and I were the only Japanese, which really felt like being abroad!!!

The captain and the guides were also focused on environmental protection, balancing nature conservation and tourism on the Big Island of Hawaii. Although the stories about Hawaii were in English, I enjoyed listening to them.

They paid attention to the participants' dangerous behaviors, allowing us to enjoy the experience with peace of mind.

The water was very clear! However, I think it's unique to Hawaii, but there weren't a lot of colorful fish; the main ones were yellow fish.

Both breakfast and lunch served on the boat were delicious! I wonder why potato chips taste so good after playing in the ocean!

I would love to participate again when I come back to the Big Island.

総勢20名強のツアーで、日本人は友人と私の2人きりで、まさに海外！！！という感じでした。

船長さんはじめ、ガイドの皆様は環境保護にも注力しており、ハワイ島の自然保護と観光を両立されていらっしゃいました。途中のハワイのお話も英語ではあったものの楽しく拝聴しました。

ツアー参加者の危険行為にも注意を払っており、安心して楽しむことができます。

海は透明度も高かったです！ただ、ハワイ特有かと思いますが、色とりどりの魚というわけではなく、イエローフィッシュがメインでした。

船上でいただく、朝食、ランチともにおいしく頂きました！
海遊びのあとのポテトチップスってなんであんなに美味しいんでしょう！

また、ハワイ島に来る時には参加したいと思います。

My fiancée and I had such an amazing time on this trip. The crew was fun and added to the whole experience.

I didn't understand half of the explanations in English, but I was very satisfied with the guide's performance, including gestures and body language. Interacting with wild horses, the 400-meter waterfall, and plenty of highlights made it a great experience.

英語ガイドのため、説明の半分もわかりませんでした。しかし、ガイドさんの身ぶり、手ぶりをふくめたパホーマンスで十分満足できました。野生の馬とのふれあい、400メートル級の滝、見どころ満載でした。

The Mauna Kea Stargazing Tour with Epic Tours was an unforgettable experience and one of the most memorable nights of our Hawaii trip. The set up telescopes and explanation of everything was an engaging and easy-to-understand way of seeing Mauna Kea

It seems that only residents are allowed, and it looks tough to go without a powerful 4WD and skills for driving on steep slopes. Therefore, I think it's better to join a tour.

The driver was kind and provided various explanations. However, since he wasn't fluent in English, there were many things I didn't understand, but I still had a great time.

The area below the cliffs was much larger and more magnificent than I expected. It was a pity that there was no water flowing over the waterfall, but I was satisfied with the grand view.

Driving through the river and stopping the car when wild horses approached made the tour enjoyable for the guests. I think this is a recommended tour where you can enjoy wonderful scenery and a wild drive.

住民以外はＮＧのようだし、行くにも強力な四駆と両急斜面の運転に長けていないと厳しそう。なのでツアーに参加するのがベターだと思います。
ドライバーは親切だし、色々と説明もしてくれます。ただし、英語が堪能でないので、判らないところだらけでしたが、それでも充分に楽しめました。
断崖の下は思ったよりもずっと広く、壮大でした。
滝に水が流れ落ちてなかったのは残念でしたが、その雄大な眺めに満足できました。
川の中を車で走ったり、野生の馬が近づいてくると車を止めてくれたり、ツアー客を楽しませてくれました。
素晴らしい景色とワイルドなドライブを楽しめるオススメのツアーだと思います。

Tour guide and driver, Forrest, was fantastic! His knowledge of the current setting and its history was incredible. I am recommending this tour to anyone visiting the island of Hawaii.

The weather was beautiful that night, but instead of doing it outside next to the ocean as advertised it was in a hotel ballroom.
The food felt like I was at a convention with catered food. They brought up a pig on stage on a wood platter. It looked like it was plastic, plus the meat was already on the table so what we ate is not what they showed. The chicken tasted way more fresh than the kalua pork , the beef was dry. No glass noodles, or anything I would imagine as authentic Hawaiian food.
It was hard to understand the announcer as the sound system was muffled and he mumbled.
I heard other people complain around me as well how bad it was. One guy said, wow, I could have done this better in my backyard. I agree with him. Not worth the price or wasting your time.
Every restaurant we went too was better than this event.

Anyway, they are dedicated to entertaining the guests. It's really fun. There's nothing to worry about.

Great atmosphere wonderful staff really good show. The fire guy is the best food was really good. Even the kids buffet was great all seating at an excellent view of the performances good interactive activities with the audience.

We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide Marc Hughes was really a great guide. He explained so much history of the Hawaiian people and ancestors. Marc is an avid diver and knows the marine life around Hawaii. He can explain a lot about the marine life. He knows the Hawaiian words for so many things. Marc knows a tremendous amount of history. We enjoyed trying great Kona coffee, Volcano national park, black sand beach where Turtles come up, the valley of the kings and so many other sights.

Had an absolutely wonderful time was a little apprehensive about whether or not to do this tour. It is a long tour all day however I wouldn’t change a thing. It absolutely was awesome didn’t even feel like it was 13 hours and it was learned more about the island and the history of the big island that I could possibly have learned anywhere else in a day.

Our driver, Felix was extremely informed patient and of course, a very good driver. To be honest, the driver makes the trip extremely value added. Our driver, Felix takes personal pride and knowing an enormous amount of history and details to be able to not only deliver a good tour guide informational delivery while you’re driving, but is able to answer most questions and yes, even when some of the other clients did some fact checking Felix was spot on on everything that he told us.

This tour is long, but I don’t know of another way that you can actually see so much and learn so much. We went to a coffee farm pastry shop several waterfalls Lookout point a black sand beach so sea turtles saw multiple other wildlife goats, hogs, chickens, ferrets, and the recommendations on things to do places to eat trails to hike. We very much so appreciated.

I would highly recommend this to her to anyone the greatest part about it if you’re writing and not driving, you actually get to see all the beauty that you’re passing up as you drive when you drive you missing an awful lot so let Felix do the driving

Bummed we missed the eruption by just over a day, but that's nature.
Saw many craters & went in a Lava tube.
Again nature thwarted us for the stargazing as the moon was too bright.

Can't believe how many Manta Rays & how close they were.

Excellent trainers bring dolphins right up to you to pet, splash, and swim with. The view of the dolphins underwater is amazing. The power and athletic ability of these amazing creatures is beautiful.

Seeing the Waipi’o Valley was a highlight of an otherwise already amazing week on the big island. The view of the sea cliffs is stunning, but so is the waterfall, river, taro fields, and other beautiful features of this location that you can only see on this tour.
Our guide was remarkably knowledgeable and articulate in sharing his firsthand experience growing up and living in this valley. It was a culturally educational, and aesthetic experience to visit and I would highly recommend it.

After researching several options, we chose the Ultimate Hawaii Circle Island Sightseeing tour from Veltra for our mid-April 2026 trip, and it did not disappoint. Our guide, Marcus, was total pro, wWith 15 years of experience, his knowledge and storytelling made the 10-hour journey fly by.

The Highlights:

1) Coffee Farm: Stunning views and a great tasting session in the gift shop.

2) Punaluu Black Sand Beach: We were lucky enough to see sea turtles basking on the sand!

3) Volcanoes National Park: Seeing the steam vents and the scale of the active volcano was easily the highlight of the day.

4) Rainbow Falls: The best panoramic view is actually from the side of the park; the hike to the top isn't strictly necessary for the best photos.

5) Waipio Valley Lookout: Absolutely breathtaking photo opportunities.

The logistics were seamless with a prompt pickup at 7:20 am from the Fairmont Orchid. While it is a long day covering 2/3 of the island, Marcus kept us entertained throughout. Lunch, dinner, snacks, and water were all provided, making for a stress-free experience. Highly recommended!

My kids, ages 11 and 13, were thrilled with meeting and engaging with several of the dolphins! We were impressed by the care given to them and the expertise of their trainers. We will be taking part in Dolphin Quest upon our next visit.
