I participated in a company trip. On the day of the trip, the wind wasn't too strong and it was warm, which was great. Additionally, we saw more whales than expected, and I was especially moved when I saw a whale dive up close. I have participated in dolphin watching tours before, but this was my first time swimming with dolphins, and I definitely wanted to try it out.

My impression was that it was more wonderful than I had imagined. I could see the dolphins swimming up close, and their faces were clearly visible. I was surprised by how many there were! When I looked around, there were so many everywhere!

I had heard that swimming with dolphins is healing, and it truly was. I wanted to swim with them forever.

On top of that, we saw a lot of whales that day as well. It was my first experience seeing such large whales up close. The captain and Daisuke, who is from the same hometown, were very kind, and it was a fun tour.

Before participating, I thought the price was a bit high, but it was worth it, and I realized that such an experience is hard to come by.

If I have the opportunity to go to the Big Island again, I would definitely like to participate again. Thank you very much.

If you're Japanese and not very confident in English, it can feel a bit daunting, so I recommend actively trying to communicate even if you don't understand everything!

I’m not good with fast vehicles, so I hesitated, but I participated at my daughter's request. It was less bumpy than I expected, and I enjoyed the feeling of running over the lush blue sea. Along the way, I looked around and saw the horizon was round. The captain found and retrieved a floating bottle, which impressed me. We were lucky to encounter whales and dolphins both going and coming back! When they were spotted, they slowly approached us, and the boat stopped for a while.

I wasn't confident about snorkeling, so I borrowed a life jacket and a kickboard, which allowed me to swim with peace of mind. The seawater was very cold. I was glad I wore a rash guard, but those who only wore swimsuits quickly returned to the boat. I was satisfied with the clear sea and many fish.

Back on the boat, there were snacks, fruits, and drinks. However, as soon as I got back on the boat, I suddenly needed to use the restroom, and I struggled to hold it in on the way back. It was tough.

For those who need to use the restroom frequently, I think it's better to choose a large boat with a restroom. We snorkeled in the same area. トイレが近い人は、大型ボートでトイレつきの船を選んだほうがいいと思う。同じ場所でシュノーケリングをします。洞窟の中に入るのか・・と勘違い。洞窟の近くに行き、説明を受けるだけでした。これは英語能力がないので、何を言っているのか分からなかった。最初に日本語の紙をくれるのでシュノーケリングには困りませんが。
　　日焼け止めは何回も付けたけど、耳や頬の出っ張り、鼻が焼けてしまいました。つけすぎ！と思うぐらいにしたほうがよい。　最初の不安がすぐ消える、楽しいオプショナルでした。

This month (January 2013), I participated with my husband.

On the day of the event, I was worried that it might be canceled due to high waves, but we drove to the meeting point with a rental car.

Regarding the waves, there was absolutely no problem. After signing in at the reception, I changed into my swimsuit. I slathered on sunscreen because the Hawaiian sun can be intense.

Once on the Zodiac, they kept asking if I had applied enough sunscreen. The guide had sunscreen available, so it was okay to borrow some there. In fact, I did borrow it. Thank you!

As we left the harbor, we were waved off by a sea turtle floating in the harbor.

ガイドさんが、魚や島のことについて色々教えてくれるのですが、風音と英語が苦手なせいで、殆どわからんちんでした。でも、ナイスガイでしたわー。

さて、話が逸れましたが、港からシェラトン方面にずっと南下して、シュノーケリングは、うねりの影響を受けない、ケアラケクア湾で行いました。

シュノーケリングは、殆ど初めてでしたが、浮き輪みたいなものも貸してくれたし、岸や船からも近いし、ガイドさんも見ててくれるので安心感があり、全然怖くなかったです。
色とりどりの熱帯魚がサンゴにかくれんぼしている姿が間近に見れて、大満足でした。ウニ超でかいです。

お腹が空いたら、サンドイッチとスナックとジュースが貰えます。ペロリでした。

帰りは、いるかに加えて、くじらにも遭遇。数十メートルの距離でまで、近寄ってきて、みんな、大興奮でした。

ボートはすごいスピードなので行きはロープや主人にしがみついて落ちないように緊張していましたが、帰りには踏ん張るコツというのを発見しかなりリラックスして乗船できました。


最後は、お世話になったガイドさんにチップを渡しましたが、渡してない人も多数いたので、どちらでも良いですね。気持ち気持ち。

私は寒がりなので、移動中は、タオルとパーカーで風を防御していました。
あと、日焼けが気になる方は、風で飛ばされないように、手で押さえなければならないですが、帽子もあったほうがよいかもですね。

We've done this trip a few time, and it's always great. The food is good. Staff is Great. Boat is still tip top. Had some high surf that limited where we could go, and we had to deal with some of the new regulations by Capt Cook Monument, but the staff was on top of it, and we didn't miss a beat. Well worth it.

I participated in the monitor campaign with Aran1 and boarded the Zodiac. The tour was a 5-hour trip with a lunch included, departing at 10 AM. We took a taxi from our hotel in Kona to the meeting point at Honokohau Harbor and arrived without any trouble. Besides the two of us, there were no other Japanese participants, and the group was quite international, with members from various countries visiting for tourism. Therefore, all the procedures and interactions during the boarding were in English. However, I don't think those who are not confident in English will have too much trouble, as difficult English is hardly necessary. Additionally, they provided supplementary materials in Japanese during the initial procedures, so I think you'll have a general understanding of what is being said.

At first glance, the boat surprised me as it was just a rubber boat. It was my first experience with rafting, and I was excited to see what ocean rafting would be like, but it was even more intense than I expected, racing across the sea with great excitement. You can experience thrills like a roller coaster, hitting waves and falling off them. However, this rubber boat is said to be military-grade, so it was very stable.

While it's easy to focus on the rafting part, the basics are also well covered. First, we snorkeled in Kealakekua Bay, where Captain Cook's monument is located! Just a little below the surface, there was a beautiful expanse of coral reefs and tropical fish. The water clarity was excellent, probably around 25 meters. Since it was January, the water temperature felt a bit chilly, but the foreigners didn't seem to mind the cold too much. 今回Aran1さんのモニターキャンペーンを利用しゾディアック号に乗船してきました。コースは10時出発ランチ付の5時間ツアーです。コナのホテルからタクシーに乗って集合場所のホノコハウハーバーまで向かいましたが迷うことも無くすんなり到着しました。参加者は私たち2人以外日本人はおらず、いろいろな国から観光に来ている国際色豊かなメンバーでした。ということで、もちろん手続きや乗船中のやりとりは全て英語となります。ただし、難しい英語はほとんど必要ないので英語が苦手という人でもそれほど困ることはないと思います。また、最初の手続き時に日本語で書かれた補足資料を渡してくれるので、何を言っているのか大体の見当はつくと思います。
ボートは最初見て驚きましたが本当にただの（？）ゴムボートです。ラフティング経験は初めてで、しかもオーシャンラフティングということでどんなもんかワクワクしていましたが、予想以上に激しく海の上を走り迫力満点でした。波にぶつかったり、波から落ちたりさながらジェットコースターのようなスリルを味わえます。しかしこのゴムボートは米軍仕様とかで安定感は抜群でした。
ラフティング部分に注目しがちですが、それ以外の基本もばっちりおさえています。まずはクック船長のモニュメントがあるケアラケクア湾でのスノーケリング！水面から少し潜るとそこは一面のさんご礁とトロピカルな魚達がとてもきれいでした。海の透明度も抜群で25mはあるかと思います。1月ということもあり水温は肌寒く感じられましたが、外国人の方々はあまり寒そうではないようでした。しかし、海から船に上がると太陽の日差しがとても強いのでとても暖かいです。というより強すぎるので日焼け止めは十分に塗っておかないと火傷をします。スノーケリング後のランチはサンドイッチでしたが、これがまたおいしかったです。
帰りはハワイ島西海岸の各スポットについて説明してくれました。また、ラフティング中にクジラやイルカの群れを見ることもできお得でした。
ただスノーケルに行くだけでなく、船での移動そのものがアトラクションになっている本ツアーは1粒で2度おいしいというかんじです。とても楽しむことができました。ただし、船にはトイレがないので乗船前に済ましておかないと大変だと思います。またゆっくりスノーケルだけを楽しみたいということであれば大きな船に乗っていくツ

I went to the port without knowing much about the Zodiac boat, and it turned out to be just a black rubber boat with an engine. I was surprised that 18 people would fit on it! Since Hawaii Island is a small island floating in the Pacific, the waves were very high, and I felt a bit anxious about whether we could really go out on this. The cheerful captain revved the engine, lifted the Zodiac onto the sea, and made it glide over the waves. The speed was just like a jet ski. We could tilt the boat and turn just like surfing. Being lightweight, it could do anything! It felt like we were on a pirate ship. Sitting on the edge of the boat, we genuinely flew over the waves like flying fish!

We snorkeled near Captain Cook's monument. The water was really cold!! But it was so clear, and we enjoyed seeing beautiful tropical fish. While diving, I heard popping sounds, as if dolphins were communicating or something. After enjoying snorkeling for a while, we got cold and were the first to get out of the water, but the foreigners swam for over 10 minutes longer without any problem. The lunch on the boat after snorkeling was delicious. Then, the captain took us to a spot where we could see dolphins. I was moved, but after seeing the dolphins swim quickly, I felt exhausted just watching from the Zodiac. I was really glad to be back on land.

You can get the instructions in Japanese, but the language is in English. I didn’t feel like reading the instructions on the boat, so it’s definitely more fun if you understand English. You can really enjoy the cheerful activities with the foreigners.

シュノーケリングはクック船長の碑の前あたりで行いました。水がとってもつめたい！！でもすごく透明で、綺麗な熱帯魚が楽しめました。潜っているとぱちぱち音がしていて、イルカかなんかが交信してたみたいです。
十分シュノーケリングを楽しんだ私たちは、体が冷えてしまって一番に海からあがりましたが、外人さんは平気で私たちより１0分以上長く泳いでいました。シュノーケルの後の船の上のランチは美味しかったな～。それから、船長さんが、「いるか」がいる場所に連れて行ってくれました。感動したのですが、ゾディアック号でへとへとの私は、いるかの高速な泳ぎを見ているだけでどっと疲れが出ました。陸にもどってこられて、本当に良かったです。
説明書は日本語版をもらえますが、言葉は英語。船の上で説明書を読む気がしないので、英語がわかる方が断然楽しいです。まさに陽気な外人さんのアクティビティーが楽しめましす。

We participated in the morning plan on February 2, 2012, and all three of us were very satisfied!! I've been to Hawaii about ten times, but since coming to the Big Island, I've fallen in love with this place and have been coming here for four consecutive years. I usually stay at a condominium in Waikoloa, but this time we also spent two nights in Hilo and were satisfied after seeing the red flames of Kilauea at night before returning to our "home" in Waikoloa.

I usually play around snorkeling in the nearby sea. I was interested in this tour and wanted to go, but I thought it wouldn't be right to go alone while leaving my wife and grandmother behind. However, I reconsidered because:

1. The boat is large and stable.
2. It has clean restrooms.
3. Breakfast, lunch, drinks, and fruit are included.

With these conditions, my grandmother could just enjoy watching from the boat.

The sea was clear, with coral reefs and schools of tropical fish. Most of the guests seemed to be Americans, and everyone, young and old, was lively and friendly. There was no need for words...

Honestly, I wish I understood more English. The beautiful and clean boat eased my grandmother's initial worries, and she even asked, "When are we going again?"

Even without getting in the water, she enjoyed watching everyone play in the beautifully clear coral reef from the boat. The staff filmed the experience, so I quickly purchased the video and watch it from time to time.

ハワイ旅は10回位ですが、ハワイ島に来てからここが大好きになって4年連続で来ています。いつもワイコロアのコンドミニアムがメインですが、今回はヒロにも2泊して夜のキラウエアの赤い炎も見て満足してからワイコロアの「我が家？」に。
何時もは近くの海でシュノーケルしたりして遊んでいました。私はこのツアーに興味を持って『行きたい』と思っていましたが妻とお婆ちゃんを残して一人で行ってもナー。とあきらめていましたが、
1.この船は大きくて、揺れない。
2.きれいなトイレが付いている。
3.朝食、昼食、飲み物、果物付き。
この条件ならお婆ちゃんは、船の上で見ていればイﾂカー。
と、初めて参加してみて感激、感動。
私の英語は、中学の義務教育のみで心配、たまたま若い姉妹の日本の方がいらしたので「わからない時は、助けてネ」とアプローチお願いしましたが何とか自力でクリアー出来ました。
途中、鯨も見えて、現場に付く直前にイルカの群れの歓迎です。

海に入らなくても、船上から綺麗に澄んだ珊瑚礁で遊んでいる皆を見ていて楽しんでいます。
スタッフがビデオを撮ってくれていたので早速購入して時々見ています。
これを一緒に見ていた弟も、今年定年退職なので記念に皆で行きたいということで、
2013年2月14日また、予約してしまいました。楽しみでーす。
冬でも夏でも、・・・海の中は良いのですが船に上がった時寒いときがあるようなので大きいタオルや、ヨットパーカーなど忘れないように気をつけよう。
一番大切なことは、「皆で思い切り楽しむ」ことかな。
このツアーにも、持って行くものの中にサングラス等と一緒に
【冒険心】と書いてあります。

Since the ocean entry of lava is currently unavailable, I opted for a helicopter tour. I was worried because it had been cloudy until the day before, but we were blessed with clear skies and were able to see breathtaking views. There were past craters scattered around, allowing us to witness the remnants of previous lava flows and observe how lava changes over time. The contrast between dry and rainy areas was also visible, giving us a sense of nature's dynamism. いっぱい写真も撮りましたが、帰って見た写真と実物の迫力がこれほど違うかとびっくりするぐらいでした。
laveの活動が活発になったら、もう一度ヘリで飛びたいと思う印象的なフライトでした。
迎えに来てくれた人や、ヘリの整備士の活動も見れたし、受付の人、パイロットはみんな親切でとても楽しいフライトでした。

　ただ、目的の火山があまりアクティブでなく、のんびり溶岩が流れている様子が何カ所か見られるのみでした。それも上空からだと動いているかどうかは実感できません。今（今日？）溶岩はスリーピーとのこと。溶岩が噴出していたり、海には落ちていたりする様子はありませんでした。熱い溶岩がない訳ではないのですが午前中のフライトなので、溶岩がところどころ赤くなっていることが分かる程度で、夜だったら見え方は多少違うのかもしれません。2ヶ月くらい前に予約したので、火山の状態がどうかは運によるところが大きいのでしょう。この状態ならハイキングと星空ツアーの方が、より近くで流れる溶岩を見られてよいかと思いました。火山の状態をチェックしながらどのツアーにするか考えるとよいかもしれません。
　とはいえ、ヘリコプターは天気によって飛べないことがあり、過去2回、他のツアー会社ですが天気のせいでキャンセルになっているので、飛べてよかったです。

This was my first time rafting in the ocean, and I was looking forward to experiencing the differences from river rafting. Since it has an engine, it felt completely different, almost like flying over the sea. I think it's suitable for those who want to feel the thrill of speed. However, it might not be ideal for those who are prone to motion sickness.

While on the ride, and especially at the snorkeling points, the staff were very considerate, taking us to various spots where we could see not only small tropical fish but also larger fish like bonito and even dolphins. After snorkeling, they guided us back to the port while showing us various sightseeing spots from the sea, providing detailed explanations about the history and background, making it a tour that was worth more than the price.

One issue was that since it was November, it was a bit cold, and I wasn't used to being on the water, so I had a hard time holding it until we arrived at the port. The tour was planned for four hours, and although I used the restroom before boarding, it actually took about six hours, so I think it's better to limit drinks on board.

Aside from the restroom issue, it was a fantastic and enjoyable tour. Regarding language, I believe that anyone with a basic understanding of English will be able to understand, as the staff used simple language.

シュノーケリング終了後は港へ帰る前に色々な観光スポットを海から案内してくださって、歴史やら生い立ちやらの詳しい説明をしてくれながら帰ってくれたので金額以上の体験ツアーになりました。
ただ一つの問題は、１１月だったのでちょっと寒かったのもありますが、水の上に慣れていないので途中からトイレに行きたくて港に到着するまで我慢するのが大変でした。
４時間の予定でしたので、乗船する前にトイレには行ったのですが、実際かかった時間は６時間程かかりましたので船上での飲み物は控えめにされたほうがいいかと思います。
トイレさえ除けば全く問題なく、そしてとても楽しめるツアーでした。
言葉の問題ですが、ある程度のヒアリングができる人なら簡単な英語ですので理解できると思います。

We went to the Big Island for our honeymoon.

Both of us were anxious since it was our first time snorkeling, but the captain and Daisuke were very kind, making it the best memory of our trip.

Even though they said there was a 99% chance of seeing wild dolphins, we were unsure if we would actually see them, but we were able to meet so many dolphins, which was truly moving.

Additionally, there were only eight participants, including us, so it was a small group. Daisuke took us close to the dolphins, allowing us to see them up close!

I couldn't swim, but there were floatation devices available, so I didn't have to worry.

It's definitely worth participating!!

野生のマンタ　シュノーケリングツアー ＜英語ガイド／軽食付き＞

I participated on the day I arrived on the Big Island. Since my hotel was the Kona Coast Resort, it was just a short walk to the Keauhou Shopping Center where the Sea Paradise office is located. I found it cumbersome to confirm my reservation over the phone, so I went directly to the office to do so. (Photo: Since it was from the hotel, the office was in the building immediately to the right after entering from the lower entrance of the shopping center.) You walk past the Hilton to get to the port. They give you a map, so it's easy to find. As mentioned in the reviews, I rented a wetsuit next to the office. Everyone rented one. It takes just a little over 5 minutes from the port to the location where there is an English explanation. There were no other Japanese people besides my family. It's totally fine if you don't understand English. Each person receives a buoy, and (a large foreign man received two) you tuck it under your arm and enter the sea. As noted in the reviews, the best position is near the light. I absolutely recommend it. Mantas come right away, and their power is astonishing. About three of them circle around so closely that you can almost touch them.

Points:
- Be sure to rent a wetsuit.
- Position yourself near the light.
- While you tuck the buoy under your arm on the raft, when on the raft, hold it with your hands and bring the buoy to your feet to view it horizontally. If it's near your upper body, you may get seasick after about 40 minutes.

If possible, bring a digital camera that can record video; you'll be able to capture amazing footage. You can take beautiful pictures even without a flash. Since the manta's movements are fast, photos may come out blurry. I used a LUMIX FT-20 and captured some impressive videos.

If you're hesitating about whether to participate, I can assure you it will be a wonderful memory.

ハワイ島に到着した日に参加しました。ホテルがコナコーストリゾートだったのでシーパラダイス事務所があるケアホウショッピングセンターまでは歩いてすぐでした。電話で予約再確認をするのも面倒だったので直接事務所に行って予約再確認をしました。（写真：ホテルからだったのでショッピングセンターの下側の入り口から入ってすぐの右側の建物に事務所がありました。）港へはヒルトンの前を通っていきます。地図をくれるのですぐにわかります。書き込みにあるように事務所の隣でウェットスーツを借りました。全員借りていました。港からは5分ちょっとくらいで場所につき英語の説明があります。私たち家族以外は日本人はいませんでした。英語がわからなくても全く大丈夫です。うきうき棒を一人ずつもらい、（太っている外人の男の人は2本もらっていました）脇に挟んで海に入ります。書き込みにあったようにライトの近くがベストポジションです。絶対お勧めです。すぐにマンタがやってきてその迫力にびっくり。3匹くらいがほとんど触れるくらいに何度も旋回してやってきます。
ポイント
ウェットスーツは必ず借りる。

ライトの近くに陣取る。

うきうき棒はいかだまでは脇に挟んでいきますが、いかだでは手でいかだをもってうきうき棒は足の先に持っていき水平になって見ます。上半身にあると40分くらい入っていると波酔いしやすくなります。

できれば動画が撮れるデジカメを持っていくと素晴らしい動画が撮れます。フラッシュなしでもきれいに撮れます。写真はマンタの動きが速いのでぶれてしまいます。LUMIX FT-20で撮りましたが迫力ある動画が撮れました。

Our guide, Daisuke, cheerfully declared, "I’m going to have a great time too," which made the tour really enjoyable and uplifting. He kept the conversation lively and entertaining, so the travel time never felt boring. Plus, our reliable captain accurately predicted the dolphins' movements, allowing us to see them at every spot. Both of them were the best guides. Thank you so much for a dream-like experience.

It was such a wonderful tour that I would love to participate again, even two or three times. I highly recommend it!

本当に手をのばせば届いてしまいそうなくらいの距離をイルカが泳いでくれます。機嫌がいい子は目を合わせてくれたり、一緒に遊ぼうと誘ってくれます。水中で勢いをつけてからの7回転ジャンプ、ちょっと言えないあんなことまで全部見せてくれます。

ガイドの大輔さんは明るく「自分もめっちゃ楽しみますから」と堂々と宣言していて本当に楽しく気持ちのいいツアーでした。話題も豊富で楽しませてくれて、移動時間も全然飽きません。また、頼れるキャプテンがイルカのラインをことごとく正確に言い当ててくれるので、すべてのポイントでイルカに会えました。お二人は最高のガイドです。夢のような時間を本当にありがとうございました。

二度でも三度でも参加したいくらいの素敵なツアー。オススメです！

I participated with my husband on our first trip to the Big Island.

We were really lucky that day, as we saw three manta rays before swimming with the dolphins. After that, we encountered dolphins that happened to be in a good mood, and we could hear their sounds and meet many dolphins. Our guide, Daisuke, worked hard to lead everyone to where the dolphins were, allowing us to see them up close, which was truly moving. The dolphins were also swimming around him playfully.

The weather was great that day, and we could see Maui and Mauna Kea as well. After the tour ended and we were returning to the harbor, one of the guides pointed out a whale, and when we looked in that direction, we saw a humpback whale spouting water and could clearly see its small tail.

Experiencing such a wonderful day on the Big Island has truly become the best memory. The dolphins are incredibly cute, and the guide was fantastic. I would love to participate again next time and highly recommend it to everyone.

初めてのハワイ島で旦那と２人で参加しました。

この日は本当にラッキーでイルカと泳ぐ前にマンタが３匹いて観る事ができました。
その後イルカにも出会いその日はたまたま機嫌が良く凄くたくさん鳴き声が聞こえてたくさんのイルカにも出会う事ができました。
ガイドの大輔さんも一生懸命皆さんをイルカの居る方に誘導して頂いて間近で観る事ができて感動しました。イルカも彼の近くをぐるぐる回って遊んでいました。

この日は天気も良くマウイ島やマウナケアも観れました。
そしてツアーが終了して港に帰っていると、ガイドの１人がクジラっと言って指差した方角を観ているとザトウクジラが潮を吹いてクジラの小尾までしっかりと見れました。

こんな素敵な日をハワイ島で経験する事ができて本当に最高の思い出になりました。イルカもめっちゃかわいいですし、ガイドさんも最高でした。
また次回も参加したいと思いますし、皆様にもおすすめです。

I participated on November 22nd and was very nervous at first, but I had a great time!! I was able to spend the best honeymoon on my trip.

The guide, Daisuke, explained everything very thoroughly, and even as a beginner, I was taken to the point where I could touch the dolphins, so I think everyone can participate with peace of mind. I was really moved when Daisuke dove in and played with the dolphins; it felt like he was communicating with them and interacting like friends.

ガイドのダイスケさんもとても丁寧に説明をして頂き初心者の私もイルカのいるポイントまで引っ張って頂いて触れる距離まで案内してくれるので、皆さんも安心して参加ができると思います。
ダイスケさんが潜ってイルカと遊んでいたのには感動して本当にコミュニケーションがとれていて友達みたいに接していたのには感動しました。

またハワイ島に来る時には絶対に参加しますし皆様にも凄くおすすめできます。
