This was the number one dive experience I've ever had! The beautiful waters of Hawaii, and encountering such large mantas made for an amazing tour.

Especially the mantas swimming in the night sea were truly graceful and had a very magical feel! I believe this is a tour that you could never get tired of, no matter how many times you participate! I definitely want to join again when I come back to Hawaii.

We set off with a cheerful captain on a rafting boat! It was thrilling, like a roller coaster. Soon, a pod of dolphins welcomed us. The boat frequently stopped for breaks as we headed out to sea. During this time, the captain explained about the ocean and nature of the Big Island. Along the way, we encountered sharks, with their triangular fins circling the surface, giving us a "Jaws" feeling! Then we arrived at Kealakekua Bay! We quickly got off the boat to go snorkeling. There were fewer fish than I expected, but I still got to see various types of fish. The clear seawater made the coral reef beautiful. For lunch, after snorkeling, we enjoyed sandwiches and fruit on the boat anchored in Kealakekua Bay. It was a two-in-one activity where we could enjoy both rafting and snorkeling. I had considerable hesitation because it was an expensive tour and my first experience on a helicopter, but I decided to book it thinking I might never have the chance to come again. However, once I was on board, the views were amazing, including the inside of the Kilauea volcano crater and the sight of lava flowing into the sea, which I couldn't have seen from a helicopter otherwise. I didn't feel the turbulence at all; it was much more comfortable than riding in a tour bus on the roads. The pilot's explanations were all in English, and honestly, I didn't understand much, but the scenery didn't need any words. I took a taxi from the Royal Kona Resort, and it cost about $100 one way, including the tip, so if the tour is your main purpose, it would be better to stay in the South Kohala area.

In mid-March, my husband and I participated in a night manta snorkeling and diving tour departing from Kerama Islands. The sight of the mantas gracefully swimming, attracted by the blue light and plankton, was incredibly beautiful, and it gradually felt like we were flying in the sky. It felt like we were watching it on TV, but at one point, a manta came so close that we were worried it might bump into us! It was an amazing experience like no other—just incredible!

☆ It’s quite far from the hotel we stayed at, and there’s no shuttle service, so I think it would be convenient to stay at the Sheraton if you’re not using a rental car.
☆ After boarding, we arrived at the spot in about 10 minutes, and the boat didn’t rock too much.
☆ You can hold onto a floating pole, and since it rests against your legs and waist, I think even those who are not good at swimming will be fine.
★ Although we wore wetsuits, the water temperature was low, and gradually I lost feeling in my hands; it was so cold that by the end, it felt like a training session.
★ I managed to get by with mimicking others, but I didn’t understand the English explanations at all. Still, it was definitely worth it! I highly recommend it!

☆乗船し、10分ぐらいでポイントに到着、それほどユレは気になりません
☆棒状の浮に捕まり、棒状の浮を足や腰に当てるので泳ぎが苦手の方も大丈夫だと思います
★ウエットスーツは着るものの水温が低かったため、次第に手の感覚がなくなり、寒くて寒くて最後の方は修行のような気分に
★見よう見まねで何とかなりましたが、英語の説明がさっぱりわかりませんでした
　　それでもやって大正解!お勧めです！

The Snorkel Cruise was one of our top two activities. We very much enjoyed the cruise out to the Black Sand Beach. We saw some whales along the route. We enjoyed the snorkeling even more. This was our first ocean snorkeling cruise experience. We had snorkeled a little bit over the years but no where with as much color and marine life. Highly recommended whether you have snorkeled or not. The staff is very helpful and seem to enjoy their job. (if you can call that a job). Makes it a great experience. Very convenient launch from the Waikoloa Marriot. Very nice for us because that is where we stayed. Others were shuttled there and I am sure that was no problem either. Nice activity. Would do again.

Previously, when I took a helicopter tour on Kauai, the American guests riding with me seemed to be having a great time chatting with the pilot. We were listening to a Japanese tape during our helicopter tour... even though it was the same price!! So this time, I chose Blue Hawaiian hoping for a Japanese pilot.

It was an experience beyond my imagination. Since I had been staying for a few days, it felt like we were looking down from above at the places we had traveled by car, and the Big Island was incredibly BIG. The vast black land, lava, lush green valleys, waterfalls, and pastures, and finally the coastline... I thought I might get bored after two hours, but the pace was so fast that it was really fun.

The Japanese pilot, Toshi, was the best!!

以前、カウアイ島でヘリコプターツアーに乗った際、
一緒に乗ったアメリカ人のお客さんは、パイロットさんと会話しながら、超楽しそうでした。私達は、日本語のテープを聞きながら・・・のヘリコプターツアー・・・同じ金額なのに！！と思い今度は、日本人パイロット希望でブルーハワイアンを選びました。
創造以上に素晴らしい、体験でした。
数日滞在後でしたので、車での移動をした所を上空より見て回る感じで、ＢＩＧアイランドは、超ＢＩＧでした。
広大な黒い大地、溶岩・緑あふれる渓谷・滝・牧草地最後は海岸線・・・2時間も飽きるかなあと思いましたが、展開が速いので、すごくたのしかったです。

I participated in a night manta snorkeling and diving event at Keauhou Bay, which is about a 20-minute drive from Kailua-Kona. It's the only spot in the world where mantas gather. It seems that it's not very well-known in Japan, as I was the only Asian participant. There was no transportation provided, and of course, all the guides spoke English.

Even though it's always summer in Hawaii, it was still winter. By the end, I was shivering from the cold. On top of that, I felt quite seasick. A friendly British lady I got to know gave me a ride back. She was really nice!

スキューバチームは下から、シュノーケルチームは上から。
マンタは海面すれすれまで上がってきます。体にぶつかりそうでした。
マンタたちはまるで踊ってるかの様。水中を飛んでいます。優雅な舞です。
かわいいつぶらな目、風邪の谷のナウシカのキョシンヘイの様な口の中。
幻想的な時間でした。

I had always admired them, and to have one come so close (it felt like we might collide) was incredible!

I was screaming with my colleagues so loudly that even the divers on the seabed could hear us!

It was truly a wonderful experience. I still feel like I'm on the boat!

今夜は１２頭いたらしいのですが、大きいものでは４ｍ以上のもいて、踊るように回りながらプランクトンを食べてるんですよ!!

もぉ素晴らしい、の一言でした。
それからしばらくしたらうちら（シュノーケリングしてる人）の光にも誘われて、ホント手に持ってるライトの下まで来て、ライトを触るか触らないかの寸前にくるっとお腹を見せながら回転するんです。しかもそれを何回も何回も!!
目の前で４ｍ近いマンタがクルクルと泳ぐ姿はまさに感無量!!
憧れだったので、しかもこんなに近くに（ホントぶつかるかと思ったくらい近かったです）マンタが来るなんて!!
はぁ~~~海底にいたダイバーにまで聞こえるくらい仕事仲間とギャーギャー叫んでましたww

でもホント素晴らしい体験でした。
でもってまだ船の上にいる気分ですww

I participated in the night snorkeling at Sea Paradise where I could swim with manta rays! I was able to see the large manta rays that eat plankton. I had no idea there were tours that offered such a beautiful and wonderful experience!

One time wasn't enough, so even though it was my last day, I booked the shallow scuba diving again. It was, of course, amazing!! When I returned to the boat, a pod of dolphins was waiting for us. One of them kicked my foot! There were about 20 dolphins around the boat, so I jumped into the sea. They swam away quickly, but I think I swam with the boat for about 5 minutes.

If you want to experience snorkeling and scuba diving, you should definitely join the tour at Sea Paradise in Kailua-Kona!!

About 15 minutes by boat, two staff members held lights and illuminated from below, attracting a manta ray that approached us. Before the tour, we were warned not to touch the manta rays, but even though I didn't reach out, the manta came close and spun around, brushing against my body. Eventually, four manta rays gathered, and it was truly moving. I felt like I was able to see them up close more than when diving.

At first, I was watching from the surface, but when I got the signal that it was okay to dive, I was able to see them from below as well. Other travelers from Spain and Australia participated, and everyone was shouting "Wow! Wow!" continuously. I would love to visit the Big Island again just to participate in this tour.

船で15分ほどの所でまずスタッフが二人ライトを持って潜り下から上へライトで照らすとマンタが1匹寄って来ました.ツア−前に絶対マンタには触らないことと注意を受けましたが自分では触らないのにマンタの方から接近して来て体すれすれで回転するので体が触れるのです.
そのうち4匹集まって来て感動です.ダイビングをするよりも近くでマンタを見れたと思います.
最初は水面から見ていたのですが、潜ってもいいと合図があったので潜って下からも見上げる形でも見る事ができました.私以外にスペイン、オ−ストラリアからの旅行者が参加していました.全員ウォ−！ウォ−！の連続でした.
このツア−に参加するだけにもう1度ハワイ島を訪れたいぐらいです.
