I was able to see a giant manta up close! The manta was so close that it almost touched my wetsuit, and it spun around slowly several times. The sight of its wide-open mouth was so impressive that I felt like I might get sucked in. I also participated in a dolphin tour in addition to this one, and both were amazing experiences!!

On the tour, we arrived at the manta spot by boat before sunset, and we were able to see a beautiful sunset as well. After sunset, we entered the water and waited for the manta to come while holding onto a bar with LED lights. First, a lot of plankton gathered, and then, after a while, a large manta appeared to eat the plankton. I was moved by the intensity that was different from an aquarium!! Although the sea was dark, the captain was always watching from the boat, and since we were holding onto the bar, I was able to enjoy it with peace of mind.

The night sea can get cold even with a wetsuit, so it might be a good idea to bring a warm hoodie or light down jacket to wear after swimming. If you're worried about seasickness, it might be good to have some motion sickness medication as well.

The fantastical sight of the large mantas is still etched in my memory. My husband was also very surprised that something he had only dreamed of and thought could only be experienced through diving could be experienced while snorkeling! I’m really glad I participated in this tour on the Big Island.

巨大なマンタを本当に間近でみることができました！マンタは私のウエットスーツに触れそうなほどの距離で、何度かゆっくりと回転しました。マンタの大きく開いた口に吸い込まれるのではないかと思うほど大迫力でした。このツアーの他にイルカツアーにも参加しましたが、どちらも最高の体験でした！！

ツアーでは、日が沈む前に船でマンタのスポットに到着し、美しい夕陽もみることができました。日没後に海に入り、LEDライトがついたバーに掴まってマンタが来るのを待ちました。まず最初にたくさんのプランクトンが集まってきて、その後しばらくするとプランクトンを食べに大きなマンタが現れました。水族館とは違った迫力に感動しました！！このツアー中、Goproで撮影した動画（中盤にマンタが登場します。https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAtyJxeQiUw）を参考に載せておきます。

暗い海ですが、船長さんが常に船から見ていてくれますし、バーにつかまっているので、安心して楽しむことができました。

夜の海はウエットスーツを着ても冷えてくるので、泳いだ後に羽織れるよう暖かいパーカーかライトダウンなどを持っていくといいかもしれません。船酔いが心配な方は酔い止めもあるといいかと思います。

大きなマンタ達の幻想的な光景が今も目に焼き付いています。主人もこれまで夢にみていたこと、ダイビングでしかできないと思っていたことが、シュノーケルで体験できたことにとても驚いていました！ハワイ島でこのツアーに参加して本当によかったです。

We enjoyed the kayak and snorkel tour. The guides were very knowledgeable and helpful, etc... The morning tour has an early start, but the bonus of the dolphins was well worth the effort.

I participated in the Captain Zodiac rafting cruise, and as we started cruising on the rafting boat, we first encountered a large pod of dolphins! Despite it being summer, we were also able to see whales. The luckiest moment was when I saw a manta ray swimming right beneath the rafting boat, which is usually only seen while diving. This is rare, and I was truly lucky, but if you're fortunate, you might get to see a manta ray too.

The snorkeling at Kealakekua Bay, where the main Captain Cook monument is located, allowed us to see beautiful coral on the lava cliffs and many different types of fish. The point was stunning with its high transparency and beautiful emerald green waters! After snorkeling, sandwiches, snacks, and juice were prepared for us, and we enjoyed lunch while looking out at Kealakekua Bay.

Above all, the highlight of this tour was the captain's exciting performance. As he explained the nature of the Big Island while navigating the sea, he was very cheerful, making us feel like we were part of a pirate crew. On the way back, we enjoyed the sight of deer standing on the cliffs, wild birds, and the rock known as the goddess Pele of the Big Island, keeping the fun going until the very end. It was an exhilarating tour that condensed the great nature of the Big Island, and I would love to participate again!

キャプテンゾディアックのラフティングクルーズに参加して、ラフティングボートに乗ってクルージングを開始すると、まずはイルカの大群に遭遇！また、夏の時期にも関わらずクジラを見ることもできました。そして一番ラッキーだったのは、通常ダイビングなどでしか見れないマンタが、ラフティングボートの真下を泳いでいく姿に遭遇したことです。これは稀だそうで、本当にラッキーだったようですが、運が良ければマンタに会えてしまうかもしれません。メインのキャプテン・クックの記念碑のあるケアラケクア湾でのシュノーケリングは、溶岩の岸壁の綺麗なサンゴやたくさんの種類の魚達に会えました。とても透明度が高いエメラルドグリーンが綺麗なポイントでした！シュノーケリングの後はサンドイッチとスナックとジュースが準備されていて、ケアラケクア湾を眺めながらのランチ。そして何よりこのツアーのポイントはキャプテンのエキサイティングな演出です。ビッグアイランドの自然を説明しながら海を進んでいくキャプテンは、とても陽気で海賊船の船員になったような気分で楽しめます。帰りの道のりも岸壁の上に立つ鹿や、野鳥、ビッグアイランドの女神ペレと言われている岩を眺めたりしながら最後の最後まで楽しませてくれました。ビッグアイランドの大自然を凝縮した大興奮のツアー、また参加したいです！

Two years later and I am still thinking about how much fun we had snorkeling and sailing. Some of the best memories we have from our time on the Big Island. We'll be back as soon as possible!

More dolphins then I had ever imagined. The guides knew what they were doing and were polite enough to ask whether they could fish while heading out to the spot.

We sped across the ocean for about 30 minutes in a rubber boat that holds around 14 people. I could see the speedometer, and it seemed we were going about 40 mph, which felt similar to driving on the road.

We were able to snorkel at Keauhou and Kealakekua. Both locations had beautiful coral reefs and high water clarity. At Keauhou, we were able to see sea turtles swimming leisurely, making it a very satisfying tour.

However, it seemed that the reception and guides had no knowledge of Japanese, and since we are not very proficient in English, we could hardly understand the guide's explanations. That said, they did communicate the essential information (like safety tips for snorkeling) using simple words that we could understand, which was reassuring.

14人乗りぐらいのゴムボートで30分ぐらい、海の上を疾走します。スピードメーターが見えましたが、40mphぐらい出ていたため、車で道路を走っているのと同じぐらいのスピードが出ていたようです。
シュノーケリングはケアウホウとケアラケクアでさせてもらえました。どちらもサンゴ礁が広がり、水の透明度も高く素晴らしかったです。ケアウホウではウミガメがゆったりと泳ぐ姿を見ることができ、とても満足のいくツアーでした。

ただし、受付やガイドの方は日本語が全くダメなようで、英語が得意でない私たちはガイドの説明がほとんど理解できませんでした。とはいえ、本当に伝えないといけないこと（シュノーケリング時の注意事項など）はちゃんとこちらが分かるように簡単な単語で言ってくれるので、その点は安心できました。

It's no surprise that the Big Island is called Hawaii Island! Seeing Kilauea Volcano and Waipi'o Valley from the sky, I was overwhelmed by the greatness of nature and the majesty of the land. While the roads weave through the volcanic terrain and renting a car for sightseeing is a good option, I highly recommend taking an aerial tour, even though it may be a bit costly.

Kilauea Volcano, where you can witness the Earth's breath (smoke) up close, along with the green valleys and various waterfalls created by nature, is truly breathtaking.

You too will surely develop a sense of awe for nature and find yourself immersed in the beauty of Hawaii Island.

Unfortunately, I couldn't understand much of the guide's commentary due to the foreign pilot, but just watching the scenery from above made the 40 minutes fly by, and I had a wonderful time.

空からのキラウエア火山とワイピオ渓谷を見て、自然の偉大さ、
大地の雄大さに圧倒されて、大変感激しました。
縦横に道路が火山大地の間を縫ってつなっがていて、レンタカー
で観光するのも良いかと思いますが、多少費用は掛かりますがぜ
ひとも、空からの遊覧観光をお勧めします。

地球の息使い（噴煙）が目の当たりに観えるキラウエア火山、自
然が作った緑の渓谷や流れ落ちる様々な滝とその滝壺。

あなたもキット自然に対する畏敬の念を持ち、ここハワイ島に溶
け込むことになってしまうことでしょう。

惜しくも外人パイロットのため、ガイドの内容はあまり理解出来
ませんでしたが、空からの景色を見ているだけで、４０分あまり
がアッと過ぎてしまい、大変楽しみました。

What a fun time we had. The captain was so awesome! It was a blast for us all.

I participated on June 15th. The weather was a mix of cloudy and sunny, which was just perfect for heading out to sea.

From the meeting point at the marina, we boarded a 16-person inflatable boat (although once the engine started, it felt more like a large motorboat zooming along). The captain and a female assistant explained the safety instructions (all in English). Japanese participants were given a written guide in Japanese beforehand, but once you're out at sea, you won't have the luxury of reading it, so I recommend checking in a bit early to read it over.

The captain explained things with gestures, saying things like "put your feet here" and "hold on to this," so you don't need to worry too much if your English isn't great. The crew was very friendly.

As we departed the marina and picked up speed, the boat bounced over the waves, sending up sprays of white water—truly exhilarating! It felt just like being on a theme park ride.

Along the way, we stopped near a hotel where mantas could be seen, and got close to the lava cliffs, where they explained how these cave-like holes formed along the coast. I've participated in several snorkeling tours like this before, but this time on the ZoaTic, the small, agile boat allowed us to get close to the cliffs and see the stunning scenery up close, which was fantastic.

I had thought we would enter the caves, so I was a bit disappointed that we only viewed them from the outside. I wish we could have gone a little further inside.

After that, we went to Kealakekua Bay, where we anchored the boat for some free snorkeling time. I was hoping the dolphins would swim by, but unfortunately, they didn't come close.

Underwater, there were colorful fish and turtles swimming around, making it very mystical and beautiful. Hawaii Island has many power spots, and the ocean is truly healing as well.

Since it was a small group, I felt reassured that the crew was keeping an eye on us, and they provided all the necessary equipment, so you can go with just yourself. In fact, since the boat is small, it might be better not to bring large bags (it's best to leave unnecessary items in the car).

I brought a quick-dry towel and an underwater camera. When entering the water, I wore a long-sleeve rash guard and gloves. Even after getting out, while enjoying sandwiches, fruit, and water, my rash guard dried off.

Even with a hat and all that protection, being out on the sea for nearly five hours can lead to quite a sunburn.

As we were getting ready to head back, some cute dolphins appeared and jumped around. Although I couldn't swim with them, I had a wonderful time.

The return boat ride was thrilling and fast. I would love to participate again if I go back to Hawaii Island. Next time, I definitely want to swim with the dolphins!

６月１５日に参加しました。天気は曇ったり晴れたりと、海に出るにはちょうどいい感じでした。
集合場所のマリーナから１６人乗りのゴムボート(とはいえエンジンかかるとびゅんびゅん飛ばしていくのでモーターボートの大きいのって感じです）に乗り込み、キャプテンとアシスタントの女性が注意事項を説明(すべて英語）してくれます。日本人にはあらかじめ日本語に書いたものを渡してもらえますが、いったん海に出るとそんなものを読んでいる余裕は全くなくなるので、少し早めにチェックインして読んでおくことをお勧めします。
キャプテンが「ここに足を入れて」、とか「ここにつかまって」など身振り手振りつきで説明してくれるのでそんなに英語がわからなくても大丈夫。とてもフレンドリーなクルーでした。
マリーナを出発して、スピードを上げると、波にバンバンとボートが乗っかって白い水しぶきがバサ~っと上がり、迫力満点！！まるでテーマパークのアトラクションに乗っているようです。
途中、マンタの見えるホテルの近くに寄ったり、溶岩の岸壁の近くまでよってどんなふうにこんな穴の開いた洞窟みたいなものが海岸にできたのかなど説明をしてくれます。
今まで何回かこの手のシュノーケリングツアーに参加しましたが、今回のゾアティック号は小回りのきく小さな船だったので、岸壁近くに寄ったりと迫力ある景色をまじかに見られてとてもよかったです。
私は勝手に洞窟の中にも入るのかと思ったので、見るだけだったのがちょっと残念。もう少し中まで入れたらよかったのになと思いました。
その後ケアラケクア湾にいって船を停泊して、思い思いにシュノーケリングタイム。
ここに、イルカたちが泳いできてくれること期待して待っていたのですが、残念ながらイルカたちは近寄ってきませんでした。
海の中は、カラフルな色の魚たちや亀が泳いでいて、とても神秘的できれいでした。ハワイ島はパワースポットが多くありますが、海の中も本当に癒されます。
少人数制なのでクルーがちゃんと見ていてくれるという安心感もあり、必要な道具はすべてかしてもらえるので、身一つでいっても大丈夫。むしろ船が小さいので、大きな荷物を持っていかないほうがいいかもしれないです。(必要ないものは車の中においてきたほうがいいです）
私は海用の速乾性のバスタオル、水中カメラを持ちました。
海に入るときも長袖のラッシュガードと手袋もしました。そのまま上がってもサンドイッチやフルーツ、お水をいただいているうちに、ラッシュガードも乾いてきます。
帽子をかぶってこんなにガードしていても、５時間近く海の上だとかなり日焼けします。
かえる頃になって、かわいいイルカたちが姿を見せてジャンプしてくれました。
一緒に泳ぐことはできなかったけど、とても楽しい時間を過ごせました。
帰りのボートはすごいスピードでスリル満点でした。
またハワイ島に行ったら参加したいと思います。次回はぜひイルカと泳ぎたいので！！

I boarded the "Hawaii Island Ocean Rafting & Kealakekua Bay Snorkel" adventure on the Captain Zodiac. It was truly fun. Before boarding, I was worried, thinking, "What if I get seasick?" and "I'm not confident in my swimming, but can I really snorkel?" However, all those anxieties were blown away by the exhilarating fun.

After a brief explanation from the captain, we set off immediately. I thought it was unbelievable not to wear life jackets, which is unthinkable in Japan! But I realized that it was indeed safer to hold onto the handrails and ropes rather than awkwardly wearing a life jacket and relying on it.

As the boat started moving, it bounced vigorously, but the wind felt pleasant, making it feel like I was on a roller coaster. Along the way, we encountered dolphins and admired the lava cliffs as we headed to the snorkeling point. For those who are not confident swimmers, life jackets were provided, and for those who can swim a bit better, there were inflatable tubes and boogie boards available for rent. Once we put on our goggles and snorkels, we were ready to hit the sea.

Unfortunately, I couldn't swim with the dolphins, but I was able to see them from the boat. After getting back on board, we were treated to fruits, sandwiches, cookies, and potato chips, and the sweet fruits were incredibly delicious after swimming.

If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to receive a translated version of the captain's explanation before boarding. Since we left right away, I didn't have time to read it. If I had received it when I signed up, I would have read it thoroughly.

Things to bring:
1. Rash guard or windbreaker (especially after getting out of the water, it gets cold on the way back)
2. Sunglasses
3. Sunscreen
4. Waterproof case for your smartphone (the type that hangs around your neck is recommended)

Lastly, there was one mystery... The straps of the hats worn by passengers were quickly blown away, and everyone soon gave up on wearing hats, but the captain's hat (not a cap, but a hat type) seemed to stick to his head and was not blown away at all. It was very strange...

If I have the opportunity to go to Hawaii Island again, I would definitely like to participate in this tour.

「ハワイ島 オーシャンラフティング&ケアラケクア湾シュノーケル 溶岩の岸壁を行くスリル満点アドベンチャー！ by キャプテン・ゾディアック号」に乗船しました。
本当に楽しかったです。「乗船前は船酔いをしたらどうしよう？」 「泳ぎに自信がないけれど、シュノーケリングは出来るだろうか？」などと思っていましたが、そんな不安など吹き飛ばしてくれる勢いのある楽しさでした。
乗船後、キャプテンから説明があったあとすぐに出発です。救命胴衣もつけず、日本ではアリエナイ！！と思ったのですが、下手に救命胴衣などつけるより、自分の身は自分で守るとばかり、しっかり手すりやロープにつかまる方が確かに安全なのだと思いました。
船が走り出すと、激しくバウンドしますが、風が心地よく、まるでジェットコースターにでも乗っているような気分。途中イルカに遭遇したり、溶岩の岸壁を眺めたりしながらシュノーケルポイントへ。
こちらも、泳ぎに自身のない方は救命胴衣が用意され、もう少し泳げる人は、浮き輪代わりのウレタンのパイプ、ビート版などの貸し出しがあります。ゴーグルとシュノーケルをつけたらいざ海へ。
残念ながらイルカと一緒に泳ぐことは叶いませんでしたが、船の上からは見ることが出来ました。
船に上がるとフルーツやサンドイッチ、クッキーやポテトチップスなどが用意され、泳ぎ疲れた体に甘い果物が最高に美味しかったです。
唯一改善点をお願いするならば、キャプテンの解説を翻訳したものを乗船前に渡してもらうのですが、すぐ出発だったので読む暇がありませんでした。
申し込んだ時点でこれをもらっていたら熟読したのに。と思います。

持っていった方が良い物
１．ラッシュガード又はウィンドブレーカー（特に海から上がったあと、帰りは寒いです）
２．サングラス
３．日焼け止め
４．スマホの防水ケース（首から下げておくタイプがオススメです）

最後に一つだけ謎が･･･。乗船者は帽子の紐をしっかりと締めていたのがあっと言う間に吹き飛ばされ、全員すぐに帽子を被るのを諦めたのですが、キャプテンの帽子（それもキャップではなく、ハットタイプ）は頭に張り付いたかのようにまったく飛ばされませんでした。とっても不思議でした。...
またハワイ島に行く機会があれば是非参加したいツアーです。

Above all, we got to see so many dolphins!

We went on moonlight snorkeling tour and saw four manta rays, two quite big, they are so graceful dancing in the water below the light and passing inches from our bodies without touching us and without any fear. This experience is one to be remembered for the lifetime.
Said that, the service given is below expectations.
Let's start from pricing, no reduced price for the one that is not going off board snorkeling.
We arrived on time for the check in and the boat wasn't in the water yet, due to a problem with the truck. Maybe the info on the tour had been already given to the other participants, but nothing more for us. I recieved the wet suit, even though there was no locker room to change, only the marina restrooms.
Anyhow the boat went in the water just in time to go onboard, no gangboard, assuming people is used to jump on and off board.
We went quite fast to the point where manta rays are usually seen, there was already another boat from a different charter, we stood just aside them.
Gear provided by them, good quality, no water entered during all the visit.
Just few basic rules, do not dive, do not touch them, do not kick them, lay horizontally and stay attached to the plastic board, which hosts lights to attract plancton.
As said at the beginning, the experience is really wonderful and makes me almost forget the service part.
Returning onboard, just a minute to remove the wet suit, get dry, have a glass of hot soup and go back as fast as possible to the harbour.
A formal and quick goodbye and that's it.
Overall you cannot miss the mant rays snorkeling experience, but consider also other service providers with respect to this one.

On the fourth day of our stay on the Big Island, we participated in a tour. I was hesitant about the speedboat and the English tour, but I enjoyed it thoroughly.

In our tour, my wife and I were the only Japanese participants; the others were travelers from the mainland United States. The Americans were cheerful, and there was a lot of excitement among the staff and the guests, as well as among the guests themselves. My wife and I are not good at English, so we felt a bit out of place, but we were prepared for that, so it didn't bother us too much.

On the way to the bay, we were able to see not only dolphins but also a false killer whale (I couldn't understand the English name, so I looked it up after returning to Japan, and I think that's what it was), which was nice to see. The snorkeling at Kealakekua Bay was enjoyable because the terrain is better than at Kahalu'u Beach Park or Hanauma Bay on Oahu. There are some deep areas in the ocean, so my wife said she was scared in places where she couldn't touch the bottom, but they lent us a flotation device, so she was able to snorkel with peace of mind.

The view of the Big Island from the sea was also wonderful, and I believe this tour is worth participating in.

　ハワイ島滞在４日目に参加しました。
スピードボートと英語ツアーに尻込みしていましたが、十分楽しめました。

　私達が参加したツアーは、やはり日本人は私と妻だけ、他はアメリカ本土からの旅行者の方々でした。
　アメリカの人たちは陽気なので、スタッフとツアー客、ツアー客同士でかなり盛り上がってました。
　私と妻は英語がぜんぜん駄目なので、アウェイ感が強かったですが、元々覚悟していたのであまり気になりませんでした。
　湾に行く途中、イルカだけでなく、コビレゴンドウクジラ（英語が分からなく聞けなかったので、日本に帰ってから調べたので、多分そうだと思う）がゆっくり見られて、良かったです。
　ケアラケクア湾でのシュノーケリングも、カハルウビーチパークやオアフ島のハナウマ湾よりも地形が良い為に楽しめました。海が深い場所もあるので、妻は足が付かないところは怖いと言っていましたが、浮き棒を貸してくれたので、安心してシュノーケリングをやってました。

　海から眺めるハワイ島の景色も素晴らしく、参加する価値のあるツアーだと思います。

This is an amazing snorkeling adventure. The staff is very knowledgeable - very attentive - and everyone of them went out of their way to make this a memorable (and safe) experience for us. One of the guides brought up sea urchins and starfish for everyone to enjoy! Highly recommend!

We had a great time. The guides, Jesse and Kevin, were great and informative. Eventhough we were first time snorkelers, they made us comfortable and we had great fun.

I was amazed at how close I could see the manta rays! I was told not to touch them, but the manta rays came close on their own, and I ended up touching them… it really felt like an exhilarating attraction! However, on the way back, I felt like I was going to freeze to death from the wind hitting my wet body after getting seasick. I think it would have been nice to have a bit more explanation about the manta rays from the guide.

びっくりするほどマンタが近くで見れました！触らないようにと言われてましたが、マンタが勝手に近づいてきて触れてしまうことも…ほんとに迫力満点のアトラクションのようでした！
ただ帰りは船酔いと濡れた体に風があたり極寒で死にそうでした。
ガイドからマンタに関する説明がもう少しあってもよかったかなと思います。

We chose this tour after seeing a feature on TV about the staff member Daisuke.

I usually don't give perfect scores, but to put it simply, choosing this tour was definitely the right decision. It became the best memory. It’s worth more than five stars.

When we entered the sea, Daisuke and Captain Nawata coordinated to predict the dolphins' path and guided us to the pod of dolphins.

We were able to swim with the dolphins several times during one dive. You can really swim close to them.

Even when searching for dolphins from the boat, they kept the conversation enjoyable, so I never felt bored.

If I have the chance to go to the Big Island again, I will definitely repeat this experience. Thank you so much, Nawata, Daisuke, and Yuko!

このツアーにしました。

普段、評価で満点を付ける事はないのですが
結果を言えば、このツアーにして大正解でした。最高の想い出になりました。

海に入るとダイスケさんと船上からキャプテンの縄田さんとの連携で
イルカの通り道を予測し、先回りをしてイルカの群れまで誘導してくれます

１度のダイブで数回、イルカと泳ぐ事ができました。
ホントに間近でイルカと泳げます。

船上からイルカを探す時も楽しい会話をしてくれるので
退屈しませんでした。

次回にハワイ島に行く機会があるなら絶対リピします。

I felt lucky to have Daisuke as our guide. I was able to see dolphins right in front of me. When they jumped in front of me, it was very moving. Thank you, Daisuke. If I go to the Big Island again, I would like to request you.

The guides were very kind! We even saw a whale by chance✨ We also saw a manta ray do a full circle right in front of us! However, I wonder if April was not the right season... I almost lost consciousness on the way back due to the cold and seasickness. 案内してくださる方々は、とても優しいです！クジラも偶然見れました✨マンタも目の前でグルっと二回！しかし、4月は時期ではなかったのでしょうか…寒さと船酔いで帰りは意識を失いかけました。車中でも本が読めるほど、酔いなどには強い方なのですが、、
ただ、マンタがあまりに近かったので、その時だけは感動で酔いは吹っ飛びました。
海が穏やかで暖かい時期はおすすめです…

We had the best time! We would do it again for sure!!!

I wanted to go snorkeling, so I joined this tour. I was a bit worried because I brought my 85-year-old mother, but the cruise staff prepared various swimming equipment so that anyone, regardless of age, could enjoy themselves. My mother was able to see tropical fish and coral reefs for the first time without getting her face wet, and she was very moved. I felt it was worth bringing her along, and I'm really glad I participated. I was also concerned about seasickness, but it turned out to be completely fine. In fact, my husband took motion sickness medication and ended up feeling sleepy, and I later thought I shouldn't have given it to him. Anyway, the fun time passed in the blink of an eye, and I wished we could have enjoyed it a little longer.

シュノーケリングがやりたくて、このツアーにに参加しました。　ただ８５歳の母を連れてなので、少し心配していましたが、年齢関係なく、楽しむ気があれば誰でも楽しめるように、クルーズのスタッフの方がたが、いろいろな水泳用具を用意してくださり、母も顔に水をつけずに、熱帯魚やサンゴ礁を初めて見ることができ、とても感激しておりました。　私も母を連れて行った甲斐があり、本当に参加して良かったです。　船酔いも心配しましたが、全く大丈夫でした。むしろ、主人は酔い止め薬を飲んで反対に眠くなってしまい、飲ませなければ良かったと後で思いました。　とにかく、楽しい時間があっという間に過ぎた感じで、もう少し楽しんでいたいぐらいでした。

After snorkeling, as the reviews mentioned, my body got really cold, and I had to give up on the second snorkeling session. On the way back, the wind felt chilly, so I recommend that women wear a thick hoodie or windbreaker, or even layer up.

During rafting, the sun was strong, and the wind hit my eyes, so wearing sunglasses was definitely the right choice.

On the way back, the waves got particularly high, and the boat bounced quite a bit. It was fun in its own way, but it might be tough for those with back issues (this was also mentioned in the Japanese instruction manual).

We drove from the Marriott Hotel, and it was easy to find; it took less than 30 minutes.

This is a tour I highly recommend and would like to use again.

I will definitely use it next time.

ラフティング中、日差しが強く目にも風が強く当たるのでサングラスをかけてて正解でした。

帰りは特に波が高くなり、かなりボートが跳ねます。それはそれで楽しかったので最高でしたが、腰の悪い方は確かに キツイかも・・・（日本語の説明書にも記載してありましたが）

マリオットホテルからレンタカーで行きましたが、解りやすく３０分も掛かりません。

また利用したいお薦めのツアーです。

At 60 years old, my spouse and I participated. It was our first time snorkeling, and I was worried about our age, but we signed up after being encouraged by comments from those with experience. We were the only Japanese participants, but the staff and other participants were kind, so we managed even without understanding English.

We received a Japanese instruction manual in advance for the history and location, as well as how to use the snorkel and goggles, but we left without having time to read it. The snorkeling experience was sufficient with just a brief lesson from the instructor. Apparently, Kealakekua Bay is the best snorkeling spot on the Big Island, and there were so many types of fish and coral that we could have watched them forever. I was surprised by the size of the purple sea urchins and the black sea urchins. We were also able to see dolphins perfectly. The rafting on the military rubber boat was thrilling, and I was very satisfied. We made wonderful memories.

However, you really need to be careful about sunburn. Once you get on the rubber boat, you can't let go of the ropes, so it's essential to apply sunscreen all over your body before boarding. I forgot to apply it on the underside of my feet and ended up with a bad sunburn on my unprotected calves. I brought a cream-type sunscreen from Japan, but all the foreign participants were using spray sunscreen. There are super strong sprays with SPF 100 available, so I recommend buying sunscreen locally. It's a good idea to read the instructions, consider the time needed to apply sunscreen perfectly, and check in early. I would like to participate again when I come to the Big Island.

６０歳、夫婦で参加しました。シュノーケリングは初めてだし年齢的にも心配しましたが、参加経験者のコメントに後押しされ申込しました。日本人は我々２人だけでしたが、スタッフも他の参加者の方々も親切にしてくれたので、英語はわからなくても何とかなりました。

歴史や場所について、シュノーケルやメガネの使い方は、日本語の説明書を事前にくれましたが、読む間もなく出発。シュノーケリングは、インストラクターのワンポイントレッスンだけでも十分でした。アラケクア湾はハワイ島で一番のシュノーケリングポイントらしいですが、魚も珊瑚も種類が多く、いつまで見ていても飽きません。ムラサキウニやバフンウニが大きいことにびっくり。イルカもバッチリ見ることができました。軍用ゴムボートでのラフティングもスリルがあり、大満足。楽しい思い出ができました。

しかし、日焼けには本当に注意が必要です。ゴムボートに乗ってからは、ロープから手を離せなくなるので、乗船前に日焼け止めを全身に塗ることが必須です。私は、足の裏側に塗り忘れ失敗しました。シュノーケリング中に、無防備だったふくらはぎがひどく日焼けしてしまいました。私の日焼け止めは日本から持参したクリームタイプですが、外国の参加者は皆さんスプレー式の日焼け止めを使っていました。SPF100という超強力スプレーもあるので、日焼け止めは現地で買うのがお薦めです。説明書を読み、日焼け止めを完璧に塗る時間を考え、早めにチェックインするのが良いですね。また、ハワイ島に来たら参加したいと思います。

I wanted to show my 10-year-old daughter dolphins on the Big Island, so we joined this optional tour. We tried three times and encountered large groups of dolphins each time.

It was my first time snorkeling, but with the support of Daisuke and Yuko, I was able to challenge myself with confidence. We kept encountering groups of dolphins, and I was constantly amazed by the wild dolphins I was seeing for the first time. I became quite exhausted after the second round, and I apologize to the M family who joined us. (I'm sorry, M family...)

Honestly, I didn't expect to see so many dolphins, so I was truly moved! As a bonus, we were lucky enough to see whales before encountering the dolphins, making it a lucky day.

I chose this optional tour based on other people's experiences, and it was definitely the right choice! Daisuke's love for dolphins is really passionate and impressive.

Lastly, thank you to Taka for being a conversation partner for my mother. She didn't go snorkeling, but she said she could see a lot from the boat and had a great time.

ハワイ島で10歳の娘にイルカを見せてあげたいと思い、このオプショナルツアーに参加しました。3回トライして、3回とも沢山のイルカの群れに出会うことができました。
シュノーケリング初めてでしたが、ダイスケさん、ユウコさんのサポートで安心してチャレンジできました。次から次へとイルカの群れに遭遇し、初めて見る野生のイルカたちに感動しっぱなしでした。私は2回目終了後グロッキーになってしまい、一緒に参加していたMさん一家にはご迷惑おかけしました。(Mさん一家、すみません…)
正直こんなに沢山のイルカに出会えるとは思ってなかったので、ほんとに感動しました！
おまけに、イルカに遭遇する前にクジラの姿も見ることができて、ラッキーな一日でした。
他の方の体験談を参考にこのオプショナルツアーを選びましたが、大正解でした！ダイスケさんのイルカ愛、ほんとにアツくて、凄いです。
最後にタカさん、母の話し相手役、ありがとうございました。母は潜らなかったのですが、船上からでも沢山見えたようで、楽しかったと言ってました。

The Japanese guide spoke brokenly and had difficulty communicating. The participants were just my spouse and another young woman who seemed to speak English well, so there didn't seem to be any issues there. However, even though we were in Hawaii, it wasn't warm after the sun set, and the manta rays didn't appear. We had to float in the water for a long time waiting, and the only item to warm our chilled bodies was a single blanket. There seemed to be hot cocoa available if you didn't get seasick, but I felt nauseous and couldn't accept it. I was invited to join again the next day for free since I couldn't see anything, but I declined. To be honest, I wanted a refund for the participation fee. I felt unwell throughout the trip and couldn't enjoy my meals, and planning the manta night at the beginning of the trip was a mistake. As a professional, they should have considered the sea conditions and the needs of older guests better. The guide was overly excited and it became awkward.

日本語ガイドは片言で会話も不自由、参加者は私たち夫婦ともう一人若い女性でその方は英語が話せるようで問題なさそうでしたが、うねりがあってハワイといっても日が沈むと暖かくはなくマンタが現れないので、海の中に長い時間漂って待、冷えきった身体を温めるアイテムもブランケット一枚。船酔いでなければホットココアがあったようですが、吐き気がして受け付けません。見る事ができなかったので翌日無料で参加できますと誘われたけど、断ってきました。はっきりって参加費返してもらいたいくらいでした。旅行中ずっとグワイが悪くて、食事も美味しく食べる事ができず旅行の最初にマンタナイトを計画したのが間違いでした。プロなんだから海の状況でマンタが現れないとか、高年齢のお客への配慮が足りない。ガイドだけが勝手にキャキャハイテンションでしらけてしまった。

I have a fear of heights, so I was hesitant at first, but I'm really glad I participated. I was able to enjoy the ocean, islands, volcanoes, and valleys from angles I had never seen before. Especially around the volcano, I could feel the heat from the ground, which I think is a unique experience of the Big Island. I definitely want to participate again!

高所恐怖症でもあるので最初は迷っていたのですが、参加して本当によかったです。見たことのないアングルで海や島、火山や谷を楽しむことができました。特に火山周辺では足もとから熱も感じることができて、これはハワイ島ならではの体験だったとおもいます。また是非とも参加したいです！

It was a series of great excitement.
I was thrilled to see the dolphins dancing and even flying above the water's surface (about 2 meters away)!
I wished I could swim freely.
I was also able to hear the dolphins' calls.

海の中に入るなんて何十年ぶり(笑) ご心配ありません。大丈夫です。
上手く泳げなくても、手を引いてポイントに連れて行ってくださいます。
スタッフの方々の細やかな気遣いに助けられ、イルカちゃん達に 出会えました。

どうやら、この日は大量発生(表現がおかしい?)だったようで…
ダイスケさんをはじめスタッフの方は「いつもこんなにたくさん出会えると思わないで。年に数回の大量の日ですよ」
と、言っていたほど !! 大興奮の連続。
イルカのダンスも、、水面を飛んでる姿(2m位の至近距離)も見ることが出来 感激!!
自分が自由に泳げたら と 思いました。
イルカちゃん達の鳴き声も聞くことができました。

ダイスケさん、YUKOさん、スタッフの皆さん 素敵な出会いに感謝いたします。

We set sail on the Zodiac and within less than 20 minutes, we unexpectedly encountered a family of whales. It was an astonishing surprise when a baby whale swam beneath the boat, and both the participants and the guide were thrilled. We could even hear their calls through the underwater microphone. After playing with the whales for about 30 minutes, we moved the boat forward for about 10 minutes and encountered another family of whales. It was an unexpected experience. After finishing snorkeling in the beautiful sea with Captain Cook's monument, a large pod of dolphins appeared, swimming around the boat, and we lost track of time as we all cheered together. It’s rare to have such encounters with whales and dolphins, but we had an unexpected experience, making it a wonderful tour.

ソディアック号で出港して20分足らずで何と鯨の家族とバッタリ遭遇。子鯨がボートの下で泳ぐというビックリするようなハプニングで参加者はじめガイドさんも大興奮。水中マイクで鳴き声まで聞けました。30分程鯨と遊んでから10分ほどボートを進めると別な鯨の家族と遭遇。思いがけない体験ができました。キャプテンクックのモニュメントがある綺麗な海でのシュノーケリングを終えると今度はイルカの大群が現れボートの周辺を泳ぎ、時を忘れて皆で歓声を上げました。今回ほど鯨やイルカと会えることは珍しいとのことですが、思いかけない体験ができ、素晴らしいツアーになりました。

Fabulous time, saw young humpbacks repeat breeches very close to the boat. Best part was when the sails were up. Well worth it.
