あまりにたくさんのイルカがいたので、どっちを見たらいいのか、すごく忙しかったです（笑）。予想以上のイルカにすごく感動しました。
ツアーが終わってからも、ウミガメに会えるビーチを教えていただき、無事ウミガメにも会え、去年のリベンジができました。ありがとうございました！
今回３人で参加させていただいたのですが、３人ともまた参加したいねと言うくらい、
大満足のツアーで、本当に参加してよかったです。

Since I was a child, I dreamed of swimming with wild dolphins, and that dream came true on the Big Island of Hawaii!!!!

When Daisuke said, "I think you'll meet them soon today," I was so excited that I felt like jumping up right there. Since they are wild dolphins, I knew that whether I would actually see them was uncertain, but still, I was filled with the desire to meet them.

It had been a long time since I last snorkeled, and I was a bit anxious about whether I could breathe properly underwater. When I first entered the sea, I felt a bit flustered, but once I felt the reassurance of Daisuke being right beside me and providing solid support, all my fear and anxiety quickly disappeared.

And soon after we got into the water, we encountered dolphins!!! I was so excited to see the dolphins swimming slowly. I couldn't help but tense up. However, Daisuke told me that the most important thing was to completely relax, so from the second half of our time, I swam with the dolphins multiple times, feeling relaxed and at ease.

Of course, since they are wild dolphins, their swimming speed varies at different times. But I think that’s part of the fun of being with wild dolphins.

Anyway, the dolphins are just too cute. I could even hear the sound of dolphins "quee-quee" underwater. It was so moving!!!!

Above all, I was amazed by Daisuke's incredible ability to love and understand dolphins, catching their presence even when they were out of sight. When he said, "Get ready to enter the water," we were able to encounter dolphins just as he said. It felt like magic.

It seemed like Daisuke could really communicate with the dolphins, as they always came close to him and danced together. I realized that love truly gets conveyed. The dolphins looked like they were having fun swimming with Daisuke, and of course, he radiated happiness. And we participants felt it too. It was a space filled with love and happiness. I felt the healing power of the dolphins deeply, and Daisuke's aura naturally energized me. When we got out of the water, I felt warm-hearted thanks to the captain's kindness in helping us up from the boat. It was a tour filled with laughter and excitement.

In the end, we encountered a scene where the captain quickly spotted a boat that had engine trouble and called out to help with the rescue. Daisuke's words, "It's normal to help each other in times of trouble," reminded me of something so obvious yet so important. I am filled with gratitude that we were able to meet so many dolphins thanks to guides like Daisuke and the captain.

I want to refer to the method Daisuke taught me for surely realizing dreams and continue to pursue my dreams one by one. I hope to swim with the dolphins again someday under Daisuke's guidance.

Thank you so much, Daisuke, the captain, and all the participants who shared such a happy time with me!

ダイスケさんから、「今日はすぐに出会えると思うよ～」と言われた時、
もう嬉しくてその場で飛び上がりそうに。
野生のイルカだから、本当に会えるかはその時にしか分からないというのは
念頭に置きながらも、でもやっぱり、会いたい気持でいっぱい。

シュノーケリングは小さいころやった以来で、
海の中で呼吸ちゃんと出来るかなぁという不安で、最初海に入った時は
ちょっと焦り気味だったんだけど、ダイスケさんがそばにいてくれて、しっかり
フォローしてくれる安心感を感じてからは、怖さや不安なんてすぐに吹っ飛んでいました。

そして、海に出てから早々にイルカと遭遇！！！
ゆっくりと泳いでくれるイルカたちに、もう興奮MAX。
つい力がはいっちゃう。
でも、ダイスケさんに一番大切なことは、力を完全に抜くことだと言われたので、
後半からは、力を抜きリラックスした気持でイルカと何回も一緒に泳ぎました。

当然、野生のイルカ達なので、泳ぐスピードはその時々違う。
でも、だからこそ野生のイルカなんだなぁと感じれることも楽しさの１つな気がします。

とにかく、イルカちゃん可愛すぎる～。
ちゃんと海の中で、「キューキュー」と泣くイルカの声も聞こえます。
感動！！！！

そして、何よりイルカを愛し、イルカのことを知り尽くし、
姿が見えないのにイルカの存在をすぐにキャッチするダイスケさんの凄さに圧巻。
はい、海に入る準備して～と言われて入るとダイスケさんの言った通りに
イルカに遭遇することができる。もう魔法にかかったみたい。

ダイスケさん、本当にイルカと会話出来るみたいで、ダイスケさんのそばにはいつも
イルカが寄ってきて、一緒にダンス♪
愛する心は、ちゃんと伝わるんだなぁと実感しました。
イルカちゃんも、ダイスケさんと泳げて楽しそう♪ダイスケさんももちろん
HAPPYオーラ全開♪そして私たち参加者も。
愛とHAPPYしかない空間。
イルカの癒し力を心から感じ、ダイスケさんのオーラに自然とこっちまで元気になって、
海からあがる時、船上から手を伸ばしてあがるの手助けしてくれるキャプテンの優しさに
心が温かくなり、もうずっと笑いっぱなし、興奮しっぱなしのツアーでした。

最後、エンジントラブルで海の上で動けなくなった船をキャプテンがすかさず見つけて、
声を掛け、救助活動といった場面にも遭遇。
ダイスケさんの「困った時は助け合うのが普通だからね」といった言葉に、
当たり前の事なんだけど、再度その大切なことを再認識させられました。
こういうキャプテンや、ダイスケさんがガイドしてくれるツアーだから、
今回たくさんのイルカちゃんたちに出会えたんだろうなぁと感謝の気持でいっぱいです。

ダイスケさんが教えてくれた、夢を確実に叶えていく方法を参考に、
これからも１つ１つ夢を追っていきたいなぁと思います。
またいつか、ダイスケさんのガイドのもと、イルカちゃんたちと泳ぎたいな。

The female tour guide lacked in friendliness and almost seemed irritated at the beginning and the end of the tour. She also complained a lot about men and her personal life.

On October 12th, I went on an adventure aboard the Captain Zodiac. The weather was incredibly nice, hot, and the sun was strong, but as a result, the sea and sky were beautifully clear and blue. Aside from us, there were two couples of foreign tourists, and everyone was friendly, creating a cheerful atmosphere from the moment we set off.

First, we headed out to sea at an amazing speed that made me feel like we might be blown away. Suddenly, we stopped in the middle of the deep blue sea, and the captain said, "Everyone, feel free to jump into the water," as he lowered the ladder. Everyone joyfully jumped into the sea. My husband dove in headfirst. I was a bit taken aback and stayed on the boat. Soon everyone returned, but when the captain asked, "Is there anyone who has any regrets?" one man pointed at me and joked, "She hasn't gone into the water!" I laughed and said, "Oh, I'm a little scared!" and everyone laughed along with me.

After that, we went snorkeling at the Captain Cook monument. The water was very clear, and we were able to see so many fish. Right nearby, there were many wild dolphins swimming, coming close to the boat, suddenly jumping, and swimming at incredible speeds; they were so cute. On the boat, we enjoyed sandwiches, fruits, and snacks while chatting happily, and we had a wonderful time. I thoroughly enjoyed the waters of Hawaii.

10月12日キャプテンソディアック号のアドベンチャーに行ってきました。天気は良すぎるくらいに良くて、暑くて日差しも強かったですが、その分海と空は真っ青に澄み切って綺麗でした。私達以外は外国人のご夫婦が2組でしたが、みなさん気さくで、出発した時から和気あいあいとした雰囲気でした。まずは吹っ飛ばされるのではと思うぐらいの物凄いスピードで沖に向かいました。そして突然どこまでも深く青い海のど真ん中で停止し、キャプテンが「みなさん好きなように海に入って下さい」と言って梯子を下ろしました。みんな喜んで海に飛び込んでいきます。主人も頭から飛び込みをしていました。私は少々面食らってしまい、船の上に留まっていました。すぐにみなさん戻って来ましたが、キャプテンが「みなさん思い残すことはない？」と質問すると、一人の男性が私を指さし「彼女が海に入っていない！」と冗談を言いました。私は「え～、ちょっと怖くって！」と言って笑ってごまかすと、みんなも一緒に笑っていました。その後はキャプテンクックの碑のところでシュノーケリングをしました。透明度が良く本当にたくさんの魚を見ることができました。すぐ近くでは野生のイルカたちがたくさん泳いでいて、船の近くまで寄ってきて突然ジャンプして見せたり、すごいスピードで泳いだりしてとてもかわいかったです。船上ではサンドイッチや果物、スナックなどを皆で楽しく話しながら食べて、とても楽しい時間を過ごすことが出来ました。ハワイの海を大満喫しました。

We participated in the morning tour as a couple. Three days before the tour, I made a reconfirmation call from the front desk of our hotel (King Kamehameha), but we struggled to communicate (neither of us speaks much English), so we had to ask a hotel staff member to assist us.

On the day of the tour, we took a taxi to the meeting point, which cost about $30 (including tip). After checking in, we received some instructions from the tour guide in front of the boat, but since there was no roof, it was very hot, and I was worried about getting sunburned.

It took about an hour to reach the snorkeling spot. During that time, we could help ourselves to breakfast items like muffins, croissants, and fruits. After that, the tour staff came around to lend us fins, so we communicated our shoe sizes (in US sizes).

When we arrived at the Captain Cook Monument, there was a brief explanation before we started snorkeling. I brought anti-fog solution for my snorkeling mask from Japan, but there was some available on the boat as well.

The water was more transparent than I had imagined, and I was thrilled. There were various fish, and we swam while holding hands. Before participating, I was concerned about the depth of the ocean, but perhaps because we were wearing flotation devices, I didn't feel scared even when we went deeper.

After about an hour of swimming, we had lunch when we heard a signal of "ding ding ding." I think we were able to snorkel for almost another hour after lunch. The return boat was quite rocky, so I was glad I took motion sickness medication.

We chose seats on the first floor, so we didn't have to worry about the sun on the way there, and the breeze felt nice, but on the way back, it was cold because we were wet. The women's restroom on the boat had a broken lock, but it was clean.

On the way back, we encountered a pod of wild dolphins, and the boat stopped for a while to let us see them. We even got to see the dolphins jump. I would love to participate again.

シュノーケリングスポットまでは約一時間。その間、マフィンやクロワッサン・フルーツなどの朝食がセルフで食べられます。そのあとフィンの貸し出しのためツアーの人たちがまわってきてくれますので、自分の足のサイズ（アメリカサイズ）を伝えます。
キャプテンクック記念碑の前につくと、また少し説明があった後シュノーケリングスタートです。日本からシュノーケリングマスクの曇り止め液をもっていきましたが、船内にもありました。
海の中は、想像以上に透明で感激しました。いろんな魚がいて、二人で手をつなぎながら泳ぎました。参加する前は海の深さが気になっていましたが、浮き具をつけていたためか、深めの方へ行っても怖さは感じませんでした。
一時間ほど泳ぐと「カンカンカン」という合図とともに昼食の時間になります。
食後も一時間弱はシュノーケリングできたと思います。
帰りの船は結構揺れたので、酔い止めを飲んでおいて良かったです。
私たちは１階の席にしたので、行きは日差しを気にする必要がなく風も気持ちよかったのですが、帰りは体が濡れているため寒かったです。船内の女子トイレは鍵が壊れていたけどキレイです。
帰りがけに野生のイルカの群れに遭遇し、しばらく船をとめてみせてくれました。イルカのジャンプもみれました。
また参加したいです。

My husband, mom and I went on the Fair Wind Kealakekua Bay Snorkeling Sail. We had a great time the staff was awesome. The boat was very clean and beautiful. My mom is 75 and didn't snorkel but the crew was very nice and made sure she had everything she needed. When we return to Kona we will take this cruise again. The crew was very knowledgeable and made sure we knew everything we were seeing. The families with kids looked like they were having a great time especially on the high dive and slides. The area we went to was beautiful. We saw a shark hiding in the reef and many beautiful fish and coral. The food was great.

The snorkeling point had quite high waves, so families with small children seemed to have a tough time. After about three attempts, we encountered a lot of dolphins! It was truly moving ♡ While in the water, I could even hear the dolphins' calls, and I was very satisfied!! For those who get seasick, I think it's essential to take motion sickness medication. Also, since we were snorkeling in a place where we couldn't touch the bottom, they provided floaties for those who couldn't swim. I wouldn't recommend it for those who feel anxious.

結構波が高いポイントでシュノーケルだったので、小さなお子さん連れていたご家族は大変そうでした。
3回くらいアタックして、沢山のイルカに出会えました！とっても感激♡

My wife and I participated together. Before joining, I heard great things about Daisuke, and I thought if I was going to swim with dolphins, it had to be with him. After the tour, we all agreed it was "the best!" and it became a wonderful memory.

Before departure, they mentioned it would take about 40 to 50 minutes to reach the dolphin encounter point, but luckily, we encountered a pod of dolphins just 5 minutes after setting off! We quickly dove in and had the best time with the dolphins. Throughout the experience, I was very satisfied to feel Daisuke's passion for dolphins and his energy to share their charm! When I go to Hawaii again, I will definitely participate again!

We participated as a couple. Neither of us is good at English, but we thought we could manage with snorkeling and enjoying the scenery, so we decided to join. When we arrived at the office for check-in on the day of the tour, they provided us with a Japanese explanation sheet detailing the day's precautions and points of interest, which was very helpful. Additionally, there was a Japanese family of three with us, which made us feel a bit more at ease. The tour included nine people in total (five Japanese and four Americans), along with two American women, the captain, and a crew member.

We were excited about the thrilling rafting and the chance to encounter dolphins. The captain sped us out to sea, which was thrilling and fun, but unfortunately, we didn't see a single dolphin that day, which was very disappointing.

The snorkeling at Kealakekua Bay was fantastic; the water was clear, and we could see beautiful corals and various fish. For those who are not confident swimmers, they provide floatation devices, which I think is reassuring.

It was great to see the Captain Cook monument, which can only be accessed by trekking from land, while snorkeling. When we got a bit tired of snorkeling at Kealakekua Bay, they provided light snacks, sandwiches, and drinks, followed by a fruit service with pineapple and oranges, allowing us to refuel before snorkeling again. I think we stayed anchored for quite a long time.

After that, we got close to the cave cliffs (where they also offered a bit of snorkeling service) and visited a spot that resembles the sleeping form of the fire goddess Pele. The five-hour tour flew by in no time.

On the return boat ride, they also provided snacks and drinks, which was nice. One thing to note is that the boat does not have a restroom, and there is no roof, so you will be directly exposed to the sun. The sunlight can be intense, so be careful of sunburn (especially on your ears, lips, and the backs of your thighs) and make sure to apply sunscreen frequently, as you can get burned in just a few hours.

二人共英語はだめですが、シュノーケルと景色を見るなら大丈夫と思い参加しました。でも当日受付をする事務所に行くと、その日の注意事項や行くポイントについて書かれた日本語の説明書をくれたので凄く助かりました、それにこの日は、親子三人の日本の方もご一緒だったのでちょっと安心しました、アメリカの女性二名とキャプテンとサブの方含め9人(日本人5人・アメリカ人4人)でのツアーでした。
スリル満点のラフティングとイルカ遭遇に期待しました、キャプテンが沖の方にスピードをかけて走ってくれたのは、スリルあり面白かった、でも、この日は運悪く一匹のイルカにも会うことが出来ず凄く残念でした。
ケアラケクア湾でのシュノーケルは、水も綺麗でサンゴや色々な魚も見ることが出来凄く良かったです。泳ぎに自信のない方には、浮き棒を貸してくれますので安心だと思います。
陸からならトレッキングでしか行けないキャプテン・クックの記念碑をシュノーケルをしながら見ることが出来良かったです。
ケアラケリア湾でのシュノーケルに飽きた頃に軽食のサンドイッチとドリンクの提供もあり、その後、パイナップルとオレンジのフルーツサービスもありちょっと腹ごしらえをして又シュノーケルも出来、結構長い時間停泊してくれていたと思います。
その後、洞窟の岸壁に近寄ったり(ここでもちょっとだけシュノーケルのサービスをしてくれた)火の神ペレの寝姿に見える場所に寄ってくれたり5時間のツアーは、あっと言う間に過ぎました。
帰りのボートでも、スナック菓子やドリンクのサービスもあり良かったです。
注意するのは、ボートはトイレがないのとボートには屋根がないので直に日差しが当たります、日差しがきついので日焼けには(耳や唇・太ももの裏等)注意してこまめに日焼け止めを塗らないと数時間でしっかり焼けます。

I am a complete beginner at snorkeling, but I was really immersed in it. I was amazed by the clarity of the water and the number of fish. There were a few moments of anxiety, but it was such a wonderful experience that it made up for everything.

I participated with my child. My child seemed a bit anxious and was looking around, wondering if there were any Japanese people, but there were quite a few Chinese people, and we were the only two Japanese. Everything was in English, so I couldn't understand anything and just followed the movements of those around me. Well, once you're in the water, there are no problems at all (*^-^*).

One little issue was that I made the reservation on my smartphone while traveling, but I had to bring a printed reservation instead of just showing the smartphone screen. I managed to get it printed at the hotel front desk, thanks to a kind front desk staff member who understood a little Japanese.

Also, regarding the snorkeling at Kealakekua Bay, please make sure not to confuse the meeting point, which is at Keauhou Bay.

あと、ケアラケクア湾シュノーケルですが、集合はケアウホウ湾なので、つい間違わないようにして下さい。

The clarity of the ocean was outstanding, and there were plenty of fish, which made it very enjoyable. Since it was a plan without transportation, I thought the directions to the parking lot and from the parking lot to the boat were a bit unclear, but it was manageable.

The explanations were in English, but they provided written instructions in Japanese regarding snorkeling precautions, so that was also manageable. The meeting point before the boat departs only has one restroom, so there might be a bit of a wait, but there is a restroom on the boat as well, so it's fine.

送迎無しのプランでしたので、駐車場の場所と、駐車場から船までの場所の案内が、少しわかりづらかったかなとも思いましたが、まあ、何とかなります。
説明は英語のみですが、シュノーケリングの注意事項等は、日本語で書いた説明文を見せてくれますので、これも、何とかなります。
船が出るまでの待ち合わせ場所になっている所には、トイレが１つあるだけですので、ちょっと並んだりもしますが、船にもトイレはありますから、大丈夫。
船に乗ったら、自分たちの座りたい席は、早めにキープしないと、ゆっくり座って食事が出来なくなりますので、注意が必要です。
朝は、マフィンが美味しかった。ランチのハンバーガーも美味しかったです。
シュノーケリングの時のベストや浮き輪は、「自分のレベルに合わせて、好きな物を使って下さいね」という程度の説明。以前、オアフで利用したツアーは、ライフベスト必ず着用でしたので、泳ぎにくくて辛かったので、これは私達にはありがたいなと思いました。
シュノーケリングに慣れている人ならば、ベストは必要無いと思いました。フィンを付けていれば、身体は浮くので。
到着して１時間程度のフリータイム。ランチをはさんでもう１時間程度、たっぷりシュノーケリングが楽しめて、良かったです。
帰る前の船に上がるタイミングで真水のシャワーを浴びる事が出来ましたが、そのタイミングを逃すと、戻っても近くにシャワーの設備等がありませんので、そのままホテルまで戻るしかありません。
それでも、透明度の高い海で泳ぎたい方には、本当におすすめできます。

I wanted to go snorkeling at Kealakekua Bay, and I was drawn to this tour because of its packed itinerary. My husband, our two daughters (in 6th and 4th grade), and I participated as a family of four. We brought our own snorkeling gear from Japan. The kids were nervous about their first rafting boat ride, so they put on their life jackets before boarding and chose seats at the back where the rocking was relatively mild. However, as soon as we set sail, we encountered dolphins, and we were thrilled to see a pod of seven or eight swimming around the boat. When the staff invited us to move to the front, we eagerly did so. The staff supported our daughters from behind as they squealed with joy at the bouncing of the boat and the splashes of water. Once they got used to it, the boat made turns and created G-forces, making it feel like an amusement park ride! We even encountered a rare mother and baby whale during the summer. They came so close that we could almost touch them, which was moving.

The long-awaited Kealakekua Bay had high transparency, and we were able to swim to our heart's content among the coral and tropical fish. The kids were very happy to take off their life jackets and dive into the water during the middle of the snorkeling time (something that wouldn’t be allowed on tours in Japan), and they borrowed noodles (floating sticks) to play with, looking very satisfied. The location of the shop was a bit hard to find, and we got lost, but the staff were very kind, which made us feel at ease. The rafting boat was faster and more thrilling than I imagined, but it felt great and was a lot of fun! We stopped at a point where we could see dolphins, and they explained the history of Hawaii (in English). The snorkeling spot was also wonderfully beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. My mother, who said she would wait on the boat, ended up enjoying snorkeling as well, and our whole family was very satisfied!

For lunch, we had turkey sandwiches on the boat, and afterwards, they cut up fresh pineapple right there, which was a big hit with all the guests. After snorkeling, on our way back to the port, we stopped by some lava cliffs to take pictures.

Since you can get quite sunburned, it's better to apply sunscreen frequently. Our family got so caught up in snorkeling that our backs got completely burned (laughs).

Since we met at the location, I wish there was a more helpful map for the meeting point; otherwise, it was such a wonderful experience that I would give it a perfect score. I want to go again!!

The staff were kind and entertaining, which was great, but overall, the experience felt lacking. I participated in snorkeling for the first time in the Hawaiian islands, with many repeat visitors promoting it, so I had high expectations. However, there were few fish in terms of both quantity and variety, and I felt it wasn't worth the time and money spent. The waters in Okinawa and Asia are definitely much clearer and have more fish! Is this what Hawaii is like? I also had high hopes for the luxurious BBQ, but aside from snacks, the only real meal was a hamburger. The burger they grilled on-site was indeed delicious, but I felt that Americans have a rather limited diet during this trip. By the way, we were the only Japanese people there, and no one spoke Japanese at all.

From 8 AM to around 2 PM, you can leisurely enjoy the waters of Hawaii. I participated with my 7-year-old daughter (who had a rental life jacket and brought her own goggles), my mother (who had a rental float and a rental snorkeling set), and my father (who also had a rental snorkeling set). We were able to relax more than we expected.

The crew was cheerful, bright, and kind, and the onboard restroom was spacious and clean. For lunch, the crew cooked hamburgers and hot dogs on the boat (with smoke billowing), and we could choose our favorites to put in buns. Since we were on a boat, it was a bit bumpy, but the open atmosphere made it enjoyable.

The boat doesn’t sway much, and the sea breeze is truly refreshing. However, if you're concerned about sunburn or are traveling with children, it’s better to line up a bit early to secure indoor seating on the first floor. It can get hot, though. About 30% of the seats are indoors on the first floor, while 70% are on the second floor (the central part has a vinyl roof for shade, but the first floor is more reliable). The first floor also has all the windows open, allowing the breeze in and providing a nice view. I think it would be good for the kids and mothers to have long-sleeve rash guards and UV hats that can get wet (my daughter got a sunburn on her scalp after just two hours of snorkeling).

We didn’t have any issues with English, but the crew explains everything in English, so if you feel anxious about that, it’s good to prepare yourself a bit. However, I think you can understand what’s happening by observing those around you. There were only a few Japanese participants.

The snorkeling area was calm, with almost no waves and high visibility, allowing us to see many fish. However, there were also people from other tours, which felt a bit crowded compared to the Hawaiian vibe.

I highly recommend it.

７歳の娘（貸し出し用ライフジャケット＋持参ゴーグル）と母（貸し出し用浮き輪＋貸し出し用シュノーケルセット）と父（貸し出し用シュノーケルセット）での参加でしたが、思った以上にリラックスして参加できました。
クルーも陽気で明るく親切、船内のトイレも大きくきれいです。ランチのハンバーガーとホットドックも船上でクルーが調理してくれ（煙モクモク出てました）好きなものをパンに挟んでいただく形式です。船の上なので多少ガサガサしますが、開放的な雰囲気で楽しいです。
船はそんなに揺れませんし海風は本当に気持ち良いですが、日焼けに気を付けたい方やお子さん連れの方は１階の屋内の席を確保する為、少し早目に乗船の列に並んだ方が良いです。これが暑いんですけど。座席は３割が１階屋内、７割が２階（中央部分はビニールの屋根がついているので日よけにはなりますが、１階の方が確実です）。１階も窓全開なので風が入って景色も見えて気持ちいいですよ。でもお子さんとお母さんは長袖ラッシュガード＆お子さんは濡れても良いUV帽子があるといいと思います（娘は２時間のシュノーケリングであっという間に頭皮日焼けです）。
私たちは英語の心配はなかったので問題はなかったのですが、クルーは英語ですべてを説明しますので、ここに不安を感じる方は少し心の準備を。ただ、周りの方の動きを見ていれば何が起こっているかはわかると思いますが。日本人は２，３組の参加でした。
シュノーケリングポイントのエリアは波もないと言っていいぐらい穏やかで透明度も高く沢山の魚を見ることが出来ます。ただ、このツアー以外のツアーの人々も勿論いらして、ちょっとハワイの感覚からすると人口密度が高く感じますけれども。
お勧めです。

I stayed at the Sheraton Kona, and it was very close to the meeting point, just a 2-3 minute walk from the hotel entrance, which made me feel secure about participating.

Although the staff only spoke English, they were very kind, so I didn't feel particularly anxious about reconfirming over the phone on the day of the event. I was the only Japanese participant at that time, and most others seemed to be from the mainland United States. There were elderly individuals who needed canes to walk, as well as a few babies just a few months old, but everyone was enjoying themselves in their own way. They provide everything you need for snorkeling, such as fins, goggles, and flotation devices, so you can go hands-free without any issues.

The boat was larger than I expected, accommodating over 50 people. It had a diving platform and a slide, allowing for various ways to enjoy Kealakekua Bay.

船は思ったより大きく、50人以上は乗っていました。飛び込み台や滑り台もついていて、ケアラケクア湾ではさまざまな遊び方をすることができます。

朝食はマフィンやフルーツなど軽いものですが、昼食は船の上で焼いてくれたお肉でバーガーかホットドッグを自分で盛り付けて食べるスタイルで、バーガーを食べましたがおいしかったです。

I was moved by the experience of rafting and being able to see dolphins up close! It's a rare opportunity in Japan to see them that closely, so I think it was a very valuable experience.

At first, I was scared because of the speed, but the guide was so entertaining that it turned out to be a great experience. On the way to snorkeling, I was moved by how many dolphins we encountered. I even got to see them jump up close. Snorkeling was great too, as I saw many coral reefs and schools of fish.

Lunch was fulfilling, and the guide cut fresh pineapple and oranges right in front of us. On the way back, we went near an area where we could see various layers of earth and received explanations. I am very satisfied with the experience, which is something I can't do much in Japan.

I have participated in a wild dolphin tour on Oahu before, but I could only see the dolphins far away and had given up on the idea of seeing them up close. However, believing in Daisuke's words from last year, this year I was finally able to meet many dolphins right beside us!

We participated with a friend because the monitor fee was applicable! Since we didn't rent a car during our stay, we took a taxi from Kailua-Kona and arrived at the meeting point, the harbor, for about $20.

There were about 20 participants, so we split into two boats for departure. There were no other Japanese participants, only Westerners. Everything was explained in English, but since there wasn't anything particularly special to do, I think it's fine if you don't speak much English. (They asked if we could speak English at the reception, so if you mention it there, you might receive written explanations. However, the tour is primarily in English.)

The tour itself lasted from around 10 AM to 1 PM, and we went around the Big Island on a high-speed boat. Along the way, we stopped at various points of interest, and the captain provided explanations. We were also told we could jump in when we spotted dolphins. When we found them, it was after the other dolphin tour groups had left, so we were able to see the dolphins up close and at a leisurely pace! We also spotted turtles and fish, and thoroughly enjoyed both rafting and snorkeling. By the way, lunch was just a sandwich, but after swimming, the sandwich and cola were incredibly delicious!

On the way back, our hotel happened to be right in front of the dock, so we were able to get dropped off there, saving on taxi fare. The staff were all very friendly, and overall, it was a satisfying tour.

参加者が20名くらいだったため、２隻に分かれて出発でした。他に日本人の参加者はおらず、欧米人のみ。説明等全て英語でしたが、何か特別なことをするわけではないので基本的にはそんなに英語が話せなくても問題ないかと思います。（英語が話せるか受付時に聞かれたのでそこで言えば説明書き等もらえるのかも知れません。が、基本的にはツアーは全編英語です。）
ツアー自体は10時～13時くらいまでで、ハワイ島の周りを高速ボートで回る感じです。途中いろんな見どころに寄って船長さんが解説をしてくれます。またイルカを見つけると飛び込んでいいとのこと、他のドルフィンツアーの人たちがいるところで一緒に潜るのに加え、帰り道に見つけた際にはツアーの人たちはもういない時間だったのでかなり近くでゆっくりイルカを見ることが出来ました！他にもカメを見かけたり、魚をみたり、ラフティングとシュノーケル、どちらも満喫できました。ちなみにランチはただのサンドイッチですが、泳ぎ疲れたあとのサンドイッチとコーラは最高においしかったです！
帰りはたまたま滞在しているホテルが船着き場の目の前だったので、そこで下ろしてもらうことができ、タクシー代も節約できました。
スタッフもみなさん親切で、全体的に満足のいくツアーでした。

I participated in a tour with Mr. Nawata on July 23. For three years, I have wanted to join a dolphin tour every time I go to Hawaii, and I finally got the chance to participate.

At first, there were many other tour boats out at sea, and I thought the dolphins might avoid our boat, making it hard to see them. However, we entered the water for practice. After that, Mr. Nawata and the captain diligently searched for the best spots where the dolphins were, repeatedly going in and out of the water and moving the boat. In the second half, we were able to swim right next to a pod of dolphins! It was so moving!

I was impressed not only by the dolphins but also by Mr. Nawata and the captain's efforts to ensure that every participant got to see the dolphins up close. I realized I was more exhausted than I expected, which made me feel my age and the decline in my stamina. However, the potato chips we had after returning to the harbor were incredibly delicious (laughs).

It was a tour that left me deeply moved by the dolphins, the staff, and the Hawaiian sea. I would love to participate again next year if I can.

ハワイに行く度にイルカツアーに参加したいと思って早3年、やっと参加することができました。
前半は他のツアーの船が多く海に出ておりこれではイルカがツアーの船を避けてしまいなかなか見れないかもと思いましたが、とりあえず練習の為1回目の海に入りました。その後繩田さんとキャプテンが一生懸命イルカがいるベストポイントを探し回って下さり、何回か海へ入ってはあがって船で移動を繰り返し後半はイルカの群れが泳いでるそばで一緒に泳げました！感動です！
イルカはもちろんですが、参加者一人一人に気を使いなんとか参加者全員にイルカを間近で見せてあげたいという繩田さんとキャプテンの気持ちにも感動しました。
思ったより体力を消耗しあらためて体力の衰えと歳を感じてしまいましたが、その分港に戻った後頂いたポテチが最高においしかった（笑）
イルカとスタッフとハワイの海に感動した大満足のツアーでした。また来年できたら参加したいと思います。

I participated with my husband and our first-grade daughter, making it a family of three. We stayed at the Marriott Hotel in Waikoloa and arrived in just under 40 minutes. We were told to look for the blue roof of the Honokohau Marina, and as soon as we entered the marina, we found several shops with blue roofs lined up on the right side. The tour shop was easily identifiable with the sign that read "CAPTAIN ZODIAC" (it was the shop at the far right).

When we joined, there were six of us in total: our family of three and three American girls. With Captain Colin and his assistant Paul, we set off with a total of eight people! First, we sped across the surface of the sea. The waves were relatively calm, so I didn’t experience the seasickness I was worried about; instead, it felt refreshing with the wind in my face!

After about five minutes of racing across the water, the boat suddenly slowed down. Captain Colin was looking around, and just as I was wondering what was happening, he shouted, "Dolphins!" When I looked in the direction he was pointing, I saw several dorsal fins surfacing and diving. There were dolphins jumping like in an aquarium, and even a baby dolphin! My daughter was so excited, shouting, "Dolphin! Dolphin!"

At that point, the captain stopped the boat and began preparing the snorkeling gear. My daughter was quite nervous since it was her first time snorkeling and going out to deep water on a boat. Honestly, I thought, "Snorkeling in such deep water?! No way!" But it seemed her curiosity about the wild dolphins won out. She put on her new snorkeling set (which we brought, although they provide rentals) and borrowed a long foam noodle from the captain to use as a float.

Then, with her dad holding her hand, she peered into the water and saw a school of dolphins swimming right below us. Overjoyed, she squealed, "Yay! Dolphins!" and pointed excitedly. I was also amazed; I never expected to see so many dolphins up close.

We then changed locations and enjoyed a total of three dolphin swims.

After that, we had about 30 minutes of free snorkeling in Kealakekua Bay. My daughter was scared of the urchins and almost returned to the boat, but when Captain Colin threw some cookies into the water, the fish came close, and she was thrilled. Thanks to that, she was able to continue snorkeling.

I was worried that my daughter might end up scared and not able to do anything during the tour, but thanks to Captain Colin's thoughtfulness and the dolphins and fish, both my daughter and husband had a great time!

I definitely want to participate again the next time we come to the Big Island.

1. For those who will be participating, it might be a good idea to hand the captain your camera and ask him to take pictures while snorkeling.
2. I recommend reapplying sunscreen during the trip. Even though I thought I had applied a lot, I ended up getting really sunburned (crying).

ワイコロアのマリオットホテルに滞在しており、40分弱で到着しました。
ホノコハウマリーナの青い屋根が目印とのことでしたが、マリーナの入り口入ってすぐの右手側に、青い屋根の何軒かのお店が長屋のように連なっていました。このツアーのお店は、看板に「CAPTAIN　ZODIAC」と書いてあるのですぐにわかりました。（向かって一番右端のお店でした）

私たちが参加した時は、私たち家族３人とAmericanGirls３人の計６人。そこに、キャプテンコリンと、助手の？ポールを合わせて８名で出発！
まずは、ビュンビュン飛ぶように海面を走ります。比較的波がなく海面が穏やかだったので、懸念していた船酔いにはならず、逆に風を受けて爽快でした！

５分ほど？海面を走り急にボートがゆっくりに。。キャプテンコリンが何やら周りを見回しています。？？と思っていると、「ドルフィン！」と叫ぶので指さす方を見ると、何頭もの背びれが浮かんだり沈んだり。そのうち、水族館のようにクルリとジャンプをするイルカがいたり、ベビーイルカがいたり、娘も「イルカさん！イルカさん！」と大興奮。

そこで、キャプテンがボートを停め、シュノーケルギアを準備し始めました。娘は、シュノーケルも初めて、ボートで深い海に行くのも初めてということでかなり緊張をしており、正直「こんなに深い場所でシュノーケル?!無理だよーー」と思いましたが、娘は野生のイルカのジャンプを見て好奇心が勝った模様。新しいMyシュノーケルセット（貸してもらえますが、私たちは持参しました）を装着し、キャプテンに浮き輪代わりにヌードルというウレタン製の細長い棒を借りて、プカプカ。
その後、パパに手を引いて貰い海を覗き込むと、真下にイルカたちの群れが泳いでいます。歓喜のあまり海の中で「キャーキャ－イルカーーー！！」と指をさして喜ぶ娘。
私も、こんなに沢山のイルカ達がこんなに間近に見られるとは思ってもいなかったので、大感激でした。
その後場所を変え、計３回ドルフィンスイムを楽しみました。

その後はケアラケクア湾で３０分ほど自由にシュノーケル。娘はガンガゼを怖がり、ボートに帰りかけましたが、キャプテンコリンがクッキーを持ってきて海に投げると、近くまで魚が寄ってきてくれて大喜び。おかげでシュノーケルを続行することができました。

娘が怖がって何もできずに終わったらどうしよう？？と思いながらツアーを申し込みましたが、キャプテンコリンの気遣いとイルカや魚たちのおかげで娘・パパともども楽しむことができました！

次回ハワイ島に来た時にも是非参加したいです。

追記：
①これから参加される方は、シュノーケル時にキャプテンにカメラを渡し、撮影をお願いすると良いかもしれません。
②日焼け止めを途中で塗りなおすことをオススメします。かなり塗りたくって参加したはずなのに、真っっ黒に焼けてしまいました（泣）

そうした様子を察したキャプテンコーリンが一緒にシュノーケルに来てくれて、
魚を見つけては娘に教えてくれたり、ハワイでのお魚の呼び方を教えてくれたり
と優しく接してくれました。すると、すっかり恐怖心の薄れた娘は自由自在に
楽しむことができました。

残念ながらクジラを目撃することはできませんでしたが、クジラが近くにいるせいで
ぴょんぴょん飛んでいる小魚を目撃。２ノットの範囲の海面下のどこかにいるらしい、
とのことでした。

帰りには、海岸沿いのラバ・チューブでのペレのお話などを説明してくれました。

中学生レベルの私の英語でも十分分るように説明してくれるし、子どもには優しく
接してくれるので本当に安心です。

良いツアーに参加できたなー、と心から思いました。
