Got one this time

Posted on: 2014/03/28

This is my second year in a row that I went shark fishing. Last year
3 of 6 caught but not me so I had to give it another try. There were 3 of us on the shark hunt. At the first spot no bites so we moved to deeper water and bingo I got a bite and landed about a hundred pound pacific gray shark. Unfortunately I could not get a picture as the shark was not being very co-operative.

Lost Hummer Tour

Posted on: 2009/04/08

We highly recommend this tour, especially if you are a Lost fan. Our driver Jeff took us to many of the Lost locations, especially in the Kualoa Ranch. It was cool to be riding in the hummer as you would not get to some of the locations on the ranch without it. We also got to see where parts of Jurassic Park, 50 First Dates and Mighty Joe Young were filmed. Jeff's knowledge and enthusiasm made this tour a must see.
A funny thing happened to us the week after our tour. We went out to Michel's for dinner and at the next table I recognized one of the men and I was sure he was involved with Lost. When I got home I searched and found that 2 of the men at the table were involved with the show. Damon Lindelof who is one of the creators, executive producers and head writer and Carlton Cuse who is a writer and executive producer. We now watch Lost in anticipation of seeing some of the places that the Hummer tour took us.
Thanks again Jeff for making this a great day and we will definately do

Pearl Harbor & Flea Market

Posted on: 2009/04/06

This was our first time to Pearl Harbour and we really enjoyed the film and the Arizona Memorial. Even though we are from Canada we could sympathize for all those that perished that fateful day. After this we were dropped off at the flea market for 2 hours. We bought lots of t-shirts, towels and trinkets and even drank from a real coconut. Our driver Johnathan was very knowledgable and provided us with alot of great information. Since we had about 20 minutes extra on our tour, Johnathan took us to where President Obama lived, went to school and worked his first job (Baskin Robbins). We also got to see where Dog the Bounty Hunter's office was.

We want to thank Johnathan for this awesome tour.
