Oli was fantastic and I was in tears by the we got to Pearl Harbor for our tour because he so vividly told of the events before the attacks and then the attack itself. I'll never forget the experience and so very glad I made this resevation.

I was waiting at the hotel for the bus to arrive, but no other guests (other than Japanese) were there, and the driver was looking for them to pick them up. I had the impression that we were waiting for the same bus, but I hesitated to speak in English, and since I was going to a completely different hotel, I made sure to confirm and wait properly. The grounds are beautiful and larger than I expected. We allowed an hour to explore the grounds but could have easily spent 2-3 hours looking at all of the scenery. The luau was a lot of fun. There were some hands-on activities before we were seated which were fun. Once seated, we had a great meal and were offered seconds. I could barely finish my 1st plate:)
The entertainment was truly fun. Lots of stories, dancing, singing and some comedy. The closing of the show had fire dancers and one was a 10-year-old boy who could twirl the fire stick outrageously fast. Overall, this was a great experience which I would do again if I were in Honolulu with a car.

Since this was likely the last hotel in Ala Moana for the pickup, I thought the car might arrive late, but it came right on time. The driver was friendly and provided thorough explanations.
