There was a bit of trouble with the operating company at the meeting point. We arrived at the meeting location more than five minutes before the scheduled time. Then, a flashy bus with the "Dolphin & You" logo passed right in front of us, and thinking we had been left behind, we hurried to chase after it, but it just kept going. Since we had minimal luggage and didn't have our smartphones, we had no choice but to return to the hotel, where we received a call from the operating company... They said they had come to pick us up at the meeting point but since we weren't there, we could no longer participate in the tour.

Actually, the bus we chased after was a different bus picking up Western guests, while Japanese guests were supposed to be picked up by a smaller van (a plain white bus without the operating company's name or logo), which apparently arrived quite late on the day of the tour. Despite this, the operating company said, "Since this is a cancellation on your part, we cannot issue a refund. If you want to participate, please take a taxi to the harbor." I thought it was unreasonable to ask us to take a taxi to a location that takes an hour by car, and when I expressed my frustration asking, "Is this really our responsibility???" they reluctantly agreed to send someone to pick us up.

On the morning of the tour, a confirmation call was made to the hotel, but the staff member was not fluent in Japanese and did not provide detailed information during the prior call. Therefore, I recommend confirming what kind of bus will come to pick you up on the day of the tour.

Once we got on the boat, I thought the staff members were very kind and helpful. There were also staff members who spoke Japanese fluently. They were very high-energy, which might be a bit overwhelming if you’re feeling unwell. In my case, I think the strong winds contributed to my discomfort, and I felt that snorkeling might be tough for small children... My child cried a lot during the first attempt and couldn't handle it. Dolphins can only be seen underwater as dark shadows, so it might be better for children to see them from the boat.

I also brought an underwater camera, but it's quite difficult unless you're a good swimmer. Regarding clothing, I wore a rash guard and tights, and I think that was sufficient without needing to rent a wetsuit (the rental wetsuits are short types). As for belongings, you should definitely borrow a bath towel from the hotel and bring it with you. It can get a bit chilly on the way back, so it's better to take off wet rash guards and dry off with the bath towel before putting on a dry shirt.

As for tipping, which can be confusing for Japanese people, it didn't seem like it was strictly enforced. The Q&A section on the operating company's website also mentions that a small gesture is sufficient. I hope this information is helpful to everyone.

集合時に運営会社と少しとトラブルになりました。
私たちは集合場所に待ち合わせ時間の5分以上前から来ていました。
すると「ドルフィン＆ユー」のロゴが描かれた派手めのバスが目の前を通り過ぎてしまったので、置いて行かれたと思い、慌てて追いかけたのですが、そのまま行ってしまいました。
荷物も最小限で、スマホも持っていなかったので、仕方なくホテルに戻ったところ、運営会社から電話が・・・。集合場所にピックアップにきたが、いないのでもうツアーには参加できないとのことでした。
実は我々が追いかけたバスは、欧米人客を拾っていく別便のバスで、日本人客はそれよりは小さいバンのようなバス（運営会社名もロゴもない、真っ白なバスです）が拾っていくことになってたらしいのですが、当日それが待ち合わせ時間よりもかなり遅れてきたのです。
・・・にも関わらず、運営会社がいうには、「そちらの都合のキャンセルなので、返金には応じられない。参加したければ、タクシーでハーバーまで来てください。」とのことでした。
車で1時間もかかるところに、タクシーで来いというのもどうかと思いますし、さすがに「それってこちらの責任なのですか？？？」と憤ったところ、渋々なんとか迎えにきてくれました。

当日の朝に確認の電話がホテルに掛かってきますが、そのときのスタッフは日本語が堪能ではなく、事前の電話でそこまで詳細な情報までは教えてはくれませんでした。
ですので、当日はどんなバスが迎えにくるのかを必ず確認された方がいいと思います。
　
船に乗ってからは、スタッフの皆さんとても親切で良かったと思います。
日本語がとても流暢なスタッフもいました。
とてもハイテンションなので、気分が悪くなるとちょっとしんどいかもしれません。
私の場合は、結構風が強かったのも原因かと思いますが、シュノーケリングは小さいお子さんは厳しいかも・・・という印象でした。
うちの子は、1回目で大泣きでダメでした。
イルカは水中で見ても、黒い影のようにしか見えないので、子供は船上で見た方がいいかもしれません。
あと水中カメラを持っていきましたが、泳ぎが得意な方でないとなかなか難しいです。
あと服装ですが、私はラッシュカードとタイツをはいて行きましたが、ウエットスーツ（貸しウエットスーツは短パンタイプです）を借りなくても、これで十分だと思いました。
荷物としては、バスタオルはホテルで借りて必ず持っていくべきでしょう。やはり帰りはちょっと寒いので、ぬれたラッシュガードなどは脱いで、バスタオルで体を拭って、乾いたシャツ等を着る方がいいと思います。

日本人が戸惑うチップですが、そんなにきっちり払っている感じはなかったです。運営会社HPのQ&Aにも書いてありますが、気持ち程度でいいと思います。

The view was absolutely beautiful. Upbeat background music was playing, and there was an all-you-can-drink option (including alcohol) along with some simple snacks. You can choose your seat in the order you lined up, but every seat offers a great view, and you can freely stand up or move around, so honestly, any seat is good. (For those who are afraid of seasickness, the back is the least bumpy.) If you're at the very front, you might get splashed by the waves! The sunset was stunning! Seeing the Waikiki beach hotels and Diamond Head from the ocean was also wonderful! The breeze felt nice! It was the best.

景色が非常に良かったです。
ノリノリなBGMが流され、飲物飲み放題（アルコールも有り）、簡単なスナック菓子付。並んだ順に席を選べますが、どの席でも景色は良いですし、好きに立ったり席移動も自由なので、どこの席でも正直良いと思います。（船酔いが怖い人は一番後ろが一番揺れません）一番前だと、波をかぶって濡れてたかも？
夕日がキレイ！ワイキキのビーチホテル群もダイヤモンドヘッドも沖から見るのもまた良い！風が気持ち良い！最高です。

We participated as a family of four and enjoyed wonderful sailing in great weather. We took in the stunning views of the hotels along Waikiki Beach, Diamond Head, and the beautiful sunset sinking in the west. The captain and all the staff only spoke English, but they were very attentive with boarding, disembarking, and serving drinks. Also, the popular Mai Tai initially feels like juice, but be careful as the alcohol kicks in after a while.

家族4人で参加、天候に恵まれ素晴らしいセーリングを楽しみました。海からのワイキキビーチのホテル群、ダイヤモンドヘッドの絶景そして西に沈んでいく素晴らしい夕日を堪能しました。船長はじめスタッフは全員英語しかしゃべらないのですが、乗船下船や飲物サーブもしっかり対応してくれます。また、人気のマイタイは最初はジュースのように感じますが、そのうちアルコールが回ってきますのでご注意を。

Staff were amazing. Helpful and fun. Had an awesome sail and saw the sun set capturing the most amazing photos. It was relaxing and chilled. People were friendly and we all enjoyed the music as we watched the horizon. Thanks for a great experience

I participated alone on short notice this time. Mieko, who was in charge, explained how to ride the SUP very clearly and took a lot of photos, so I was able to relax and enjoy myself! Although the waves were strong and we couldn't go out to sea that day, going down the river was a great choice! I enjoyed SUP while chatting slowly among the lush greenery and trees bearing various fruits. The lunch was also amazing; the pizza was delicious. In the afternoon, I rented a bike and went to Lanikai Beach to play in the ocean. It was a very fulfilling day! Thank you, Mieko! I want to go again next time when the sea is calm!

今回急遽ひとりで参加しました。
担当してくださったミエコさん、とてもわかりやすくSUPの乗り方の説明してたり、写真を沢山撮ってくれたり、とにかく安心して楽しめました！
当日は波風が強く海には出れなかったのですが、川下りで大正解！
緑豊かでいろいろなフルーツがなってる木々の中をゆっくりとおしゃべりしながらSUPを楽しめました。
ランチも、ピザがめちゃ美味しかった。
午後は自転車借りてラニカイビーチまで行き海遊び。
とても充実した一日でした！

The weather was wonderful, and the color of the sea was just as I expected! I was worried if my elderly mother would enjoy it, but when we got off the boat and walked in the shallow water, she was satisfied to see sea turtles and fish up close.

I was the only one who went snorkeling, but the sea turtles came so close that I could almost reach out to them! It was a happy moment where we could gaze at each other without touching.

If I have the chance to go to Hawaii again, I would love to participate!

お天気にも恵まれて、思った通りの海の色でした！高齢の母が楽しめるか心配でしたが、船から降りて、浅瀬を歩くと、海亀や魚がすぐ近くで見れて満足してました^_^
私だけスノーケリングしましたが、海亀は本当に手が届くところまで近づいてきてくれました！触らないように、でも見つめ合える幸せな時間でした。
また、ハワイに行く機会があったら、参加したいです！

I couldn't board the bus I had reserved due to an unexpected event, so I called the Japanese-speaking phone number. When I explained the situation and requested a time change, they responded quickly! Thank you very much. I would like to make a reservation again when I go to Hawaii. The driver was also a wonderful person! The bus was full, with all the other passengers being foreigners except for us.

We arrived at the scheduled time and greeted by our NASA ambassador, astronomer, Greg.
He was so enthusiastic and pointed so many amazing things to see in the night sky. My favorite was seeing Saturn! The GPS telescope was very impressive.
It was a beautiful location to learn about the stars, planets, and our solar galaxy as the sun went down over the horizon.
We will be back!

I was picked up about 15 minutes later than scheduled, but they made sure to take me to the airport safely. I was also happy when they spoke to me with a smile while unloading my luggage at the airport.

予定時刻より15分くらい遅れて、迎えがしましたが、しっかり空港まで送って下さいました。
空港について荷物を降ろしていただいた時にも笑顔で話しかけてくださって嬉しかったです。

Not only did I get to see the long-awaited sea turtles, but they also came up to me. I was told that since they are an endangered species, touching them would result in a fine, but the turtles were so friendly that they came up to me, and I couldn't avoid touching them.

For lunch, we had croissants filled with ham and cheese, macaroni salad, meatballs, and pineapple, which was okay. I was worried about motion sickness, so I paid $20 for a wristband. Its effectiveness was questionable. I would like more detailed information about Kailua Town. The shower was cold.

待望のウミガメが見れただけでなく、私によって来てくれて、絶滅危惧種だから触ったら罰金と言われていましたが、ウミガメの方から触れて来てくれて避けれなかったくらい人懐っかかったです。
お昼はクロワッサンにハムやチーズが挟んでいる物や、マカロニサラダ、ミートボール、パイナップルとまあまあ。酔い止めというリストバンドを心配だから20ドル払って買いました。効果は微妙。カイルアタウンは内容を詳しく書いて欲しい。シャワーが冷たい。

I had a great time snorkeling, kayaking, and enjoying lunch, with plenty of free time to relax. I appreciated the staff's thoughtful attention to ensure we had fun. They even laid out towels on the bus for our return trip. My family, who joined me, also said they had a wonderful time, which was great to hear. We were able to see many turtles, and of course, the ocean was incredibly beautiful. I'm glad I went.

シュノーケリング、カヤックなどで遊んだり、ランチを頂いたり、十分な時間を自由に過ごせるのが楽しかったです。楽しく遊べるようにスタッフの方の心遣いもうれしいです。帰りのバスにはタオルを敷いてくれてありました。
一緒に行った家族も楽しかったといってくれていたので、よかったです。
亀もたくさん見ることができました。いうまでもなく、海はとても綺麗でした。行ってよかったです。

At first, I was worried about getting wet from the waves and the rocking of the boat, but it was fine. I held back a bit on the all-you-can-drink option since there were no restrooms, but the Mai Tai on board was delicious. There were no snack appetizers.

最初は波で濡れることやゆれる事を心配しましたが、大丈夫でした。飲み放題もトイレがないので少し抑え目にしていましたが、船上のマイタイはおいしかったです。おつまみスナックはありませんでした。

Captain Bob’s Trip was awesome!! Top notch! It started with a beautiful catamaran ride and really fun energetic exciting crew! These people made you feel very safe and welcome and ensured everyone was having an exceptional time!
The sand bar and volleyball were breathtakingly beautiful and so much fun! Whether you are a professional volleyball player or a 5 year old, it all seemed to work out just as it should and everyone had an amazing time!
The BBQ was delicious, drinks, bar, everything was perfect! Grilling off the side of a catamaran on a sandbar in Oahu! What more could you ask for!
Seeing the turtles was amazing and the snorkeling was fantastic as well! Plenty of really nice equipment, instruction, safety always a priority with this crew! I would recommend this excursion and experience 100%! Also- a nice tour bus picks you up at your hotel or close to it if you need a ride! Fantastic transportation. Very well run and organized! We met some really nice people on the excursion and the crew was the best! Enjoy!

The wind was strong, so the boat swayed more than I expected, and it felt like I was on a roller coaster! The scenery was also very beautiful, and it was a valuable experience. However, when I got off the boat, I found that the stroller I had left at the reception (or rather, I was told to leave it there and it was propped up at the reception) had been stolen. It was careless of me to bring it along.

風が強かったので、想像以上に船が揺れて、ジェットコースターにでも乗ったような感覚でした！景色もとても素敵で貴重な体験だったのですが、船から上がると、受付に預けていた(というか、ここに置いておいてと言われて、受付の所に立て掛けていた)ベビーカーが盗まれていたという。。持って行ったのは不用心でしたね(>_<)

It was the best sailing experience, enjoying a Mai Tai in hand! Shortly after departure, we were able to see turtles swimming.

This time, I participated with my mother, but it seems like it would be perfectly fine to join alone as well. There were just under 40 people on board, with only two other groups of Japanese participants. Most of the attendees were not Japanese, which added to the overseas atmosphere and made it even more enjoyable. It's completely fine if you don't understand English. Before boarding, we took a group photo, which can be purchased for $20 after disembarking for those who wish to.

You do get quite wet when boarding and disembarking. Those at the front of the boat (the side where you get on and off) got splashed directly by the waves and were pretty soaked. The sun was strong on the boat, but once we set sail, the wind felt really nice. As long as you apply sunscreen properly, sunburn shouldn't be an issue.

The boat does sway quite a bit during the trip, so if you're prone to seasickness, it's definitely a good idea to take some motion sickness medication to ensure you can enjoy the experience. A few people were struggling with seasickness.

It was so much fun and felt great, so I would like to participate in the sunset sailing next time.

マイタイ片手に楽しめる最高のセーリングでした！出航してまもなく亀が泳いでいるのを見ることができました。
今回は母と2人で参加しましたが、1人でも問題なく参加できそうです。
乗船人数は40人弱で他の日本人参加者は2組。日本人じゃない方がほとんどなのも、海外に来ている雰囲気をより味わえて楽しいです。英語はわからなくても全く問題ないです。乗船前にグループごとに記念撮影をし、希望者は下船後に20ドルで購入できます。
船に乗り降りする時に結構濡れます。また船の前方(乗り降りする側)にいた人達は波が直接かかるのでかなり濡れていました。船上は日差しが強いですが、出航してしまえば風がとても気持ち良かったです。日焼け止めをしっかり塗っておけば日焼けも問題なかったです。
船は途中結構揺れるので、船酔いが気になる方は酔い止め薬を飲んでおいた方が確実に楽しめます。何人か船酔いに苦しんでました。
とても楽しくて気持ち良かったので、今度はサンセットセーリングにも参加したいと思います。

- Since the tour arrives in the afternoon, the sea was high tide and the sandy beach was not visible. It might be better to think that this tour is not one where the sandy beach is exposed.

My family and I were very impressed. We were able to see a kaleidoscope of fishes even a shark and leopard stingray. We were even able to see large leather back sea turtles. Definitely worth it

The staff, boat, and experience was awesome! The only thing I wish was a bit more clear is the check in time is actually 30 minutes before you load the boat. We walked and had to kill 30 minutes in the heat.

The first time I learned to surf was at Ala Moana, the second time in Lahaina on Maui, and this time I took lessons in Waikiki. There were so many people that I almost collided with others, and since I couldn't avoid them, I had no choice but to jump off my board, which was a bit scary. Well, since this is the birthplace of surfing, I guess it's to be expected. The waves were also higher this time, making it tough for the students. I definitely want to try again.

1回目はアラモアナで、2回目はマウイ島のラハイナ、そして今回はワイキキでサーフィンを習いました。人が多くてぶつかりそうになったり、よけられないからボードから飛び降りるしかないので少し怖かったです。まぁサーフィン発祥の地なので仕方ないかな、波も今回は高めなので、レッスン生にはきつかったです。またリベンジしたいと思います。

The guide, who was fluent in Japanese, taught us various things and made everything easy to understand! That guide was also fluent in English and Chinese. It was my first time on a submarine, so I was excited the whole time. However, I felt there were a bit fewer fish than expected, but I was very satisfied because I got to see a sea turtle! Being able to see the depths of the ocean at 30 meters was truly mystical! I highly recommend this tour!

日本語がペラペラなガイドさんがいろいろ教えてくださり、分かりやすかったです！そのガイドさんは英語、中国語もペラペラでした。
潜水艦は初めてだったので終始興奮でした
ただ、お魚がちょっと少なかったかなという印象でしたが海ガメにも出会えたのでとっても満足です‼️３０メートルも深い海の中を見ることができてとても神秘的です！おすすめツアーです！

It was my first experience with ziplining. There were no other Japanese people in the team I zip-lined with.

I thought it would be an English guide, but since it's Hawaii, I wondered if Japanese would be understood. There was one lady who could speak a little Japanese, but that was about it. Well, we managed somehow (laughs).

I was a bit worried since I'm not good with heights, but it wasn't that high, so I was okay.

The price is a bit high, so I wish it were a little cheaper. Also, I think it would be great to have a waterproof cover to hang around your neck so you can take photos.

ジップライン初体験でした。
一緒にジップラインしたチームには、日本人は他に居ませんでした。

英語ガイドということでしたが、ハワイだし日本語通じるかなぐらいかな？って思ってましたが、1人少し日本語が話せるお姉さんが居たくらいでした。まぁ何とかなります（笑）

高いところが苦手で少し心配でしたが、そこまで高いところではなかったので大丈夫でした。

値段が少したかいのでもうすこし安ければいいなと。
あと、首から下げる防水カバーみたいなのがあると、写真を撮れていいと思います

The pickup from Waikiki Beachcomber to the airport was on time and included the tip, so it was easy without worrying about the tip.

The tour was conducted with two boats, one of which gathered Japanese participants and provided guidance in Japanese. The guide was a Japanese person who was always smiling and very attentive.

When we arrived at the sandbar, we spotted two sea turtles, and several more came by afterward.

Next, we moved to the snorkeling point, where we were able to see about five sea turtles from the boat.

The snorkeling point didn't have strong waves, so if you can swim reasonably well, I recommend trying it without a life jacket!

The deeper areas had more fish and were beautiful! Additionally, I was able to find a sea turtle resting in the coral, and I managed to take an amazing photo! I had to dive about 4 meters, which was quite challenging, but it became my best memory in Hawaii.

I want to go again!

2隻の船でツアーを行い、1隻に日本人を集めて日本語でガイドを行ってくれました。
ガイドをしてくれたのは日本人の方で終始笑顔で丁寧な対応をしてくれました。

サンドバーに着いた時にもウミガメが目視で2匹確認できて、その後もサンドバーに何匹か来ていました。

その後はシュノーケリングポイントに移動するのですが、船から5匹くらいのウミガメを見つけられました。

シュノーケリングポイントは波もそこまで強くないので、泳ぎがある程度できる人はライフジャケット無しでチャレンジしてみてください！

深いところの方が魚も多くて綺麗でした！
また、サンゴの隙間で休んでいるウミガメを見つけられて最高の一枚を撮ることができました！
4mくらい潜らなければならなかったので、結構大変でしたがハワイで1番の思い出になりました。

また行きたいです！

The service was good. However, there was a delay of more than 15 minutes on the return trip. Since the voucher stated to contact them if we were 5 minutes late, I was quite anxious.

ただ、復路で15分以上の遅れがありました。
バウチャーに5分遅れたら連絡をと記載があったので、焦りました。

This is the second time I have booked a limousine transfer on this site, and the limousine was newer than the last time. The staff was also very kind, so my whole family is happy. I would like to request a transfer through this site again next time.

I participated with my partner. We traveled out to sea by boat, and the outstanding location for parasailing from there made for a precious moment. I highly recommend it, so definitely give it a try!

We had a fabulous day on this tour. You do need staying power as it starts early and ends late but it is worth it. The bus tour of the Volcano Park was interesting but it was the helicopter ride that made the day. The professionalism of the company chartered for our ride was outstanding and our pilot had everyone feeling safe, secure and excited for the whole flight. Flying over the volcanos was amazing, even without any red lava on our day.
The one thing that was missing from the day was a little bit of time to explore Hilo itself - it looked so interesting and non touristy that we would have loved half an hour there.
This is not a cheap day, but certainly a once in a
lifetime experience we won’t ever forget and worth every cent.
