what a wonderful tour. snorkeling for a beginner or someone with a little experience. our tour guide made us feel safe and made sure we saw lots of fish and turtles as he knew where they were often seen. going without a guide, I don't think I would have ventured as far from shore as I did.

My first time in Hawaii, and thanks to the support of our guide, all five of us were able to enjoy snorkeling, especially my friend who was trying it for the first time. We were able to see sea turtles twice, which I believe was thanks to our guide's assistance. The comfort of being able to speak in Japanese and the information about local shops that we received were also great. If I ever go to Hawaii again, I would love to request the guide again.

Hanauma Bay was filled with cats, almost like a cat island, which was perfect for me as a cat lover.

I experienced this on December 4th. The guide was incredibly nice. It had been raining in Hawaii for a long time, and finally, it cleared up on this day. We were told that it was cold and the chances of seeing a sea turtle were low, so my family and I had given up on that idea, thinking it would be fine just to see various fish. However, miraculously, we were able to encounter one sea turtle! It was truly wonderful. Overall, I was very satisfied because the guide was such a great person!

I encountered a turtle for the first time in Hawaii! 初ハワイで亀に出会えました！

I searched for a snorkeling tour where I could see turtles and chose one. I was half-expecting to encounter turtles, but I actually did! It was truly a wonderful memory.

I can't swim at all, but I've experienced snorkeling with a life jacket about ten times both domestically and internationally. They taught me how to wear the mask very carefully, and the equipment was really clean. The mask didn't fog up at all during the experience, which was comfortable!

When they told me to swim from one end to the other, I honestly wondered what I should do, but I managed to swim all the way across thanks to the supportive instructor and the lovely fish.

For the first time, I panicked when I couldn't breathe and ended up swallowing a lot of seawater when I tried to take a breath. That fear lingered for a while, but I was able to enjoy myself, so I was very satisfied.

Even in the morning, the beach gets crowded, and the number of people snorkeling increases, so by the second half, I felt like there was a lot of sand stirring in the water, which made visibility a bit worse.

I highly recommend this for those who want to try snorkeling for the first time or enjoy it safely overseas, as they are very attentive. I definitely want to use their services again when I go to Hawaii next time.

わたしは全く泳げないですが、ライフジャケットを着用してのシュノーケルは国内外で10回ほど経験あります。
マスクのつけかたなど本当にとても丁寧に教えていただけて、道具もとても綺麗でした。マスクも途中で曇るなんてこともなく快適！
ここを端から端まで泳ぐのよ〜と言われたときは正直どうしようかと思いましたが、見事に泳ぎきりました。
サポート上手な先生とすてきなお魚のおかげです。
今回初めて、息が吸えず、次吸ったときには海水を大量に飲んでしまいパニックになりました。その恐怖感からその後は不安も消えませんでしたが、無事に楽しむことができたのでとても満足です。
午前中利用でも、ビーチにはどんどん人も溢れ、シュノーケルされてる人数も増えるので
後半には、海のなかも砂がたくさん舞っていて少し視界が悪くなるような気がします。
初めてのシュノーケルや、海外でも安心して楽しみたい方にはとっても丁寧なのでおすすめです！
次回ハワイに行くときも必ずお世話になりたいです。

I was glad that I could enter without waiting in line, and that I was taken to a spot where sea turtles are present despite the rough waves. If I had come on my own, waiting in line would have drained a lot of my energy, and searching for sea turtles would have been quite difficult.

Additionally, during the return shuttle, I was able to hear information about sea turtles in another location from the instructor. That day, sea turtles actually appeared at that spot, and I was able to swim with them! Thank you very much.

After watching a video about environmental awareness, we were mindful of our impact on fish and coral as we headed to the sea. With guidance from Dan and Chieko, we felt very safe and enjoyed snorkeling. Some of our group hadn't been in the ocean for years, but with the wetsuits we borrowed in advance, we swam close to the rocky areas without feeling anxious, allowing us to relax and enjoy swimming. We even encountered two turtles! We left the sea feeling very satisfied. Thank you for accommodating those who wanted to stop by Diamond Head along the way. While we were anxious about how President Trump's visit would affect our schedule, you provided various advice, and everyone was able to return safely to the hotel. Thank you for everything.

This excursion was our first snorkeling excursion in the Pacific Ocean, and it was our first excursion during our trip to O'ahu. The whole experience was outstanding. Veltra called us the day before to confirm the reservation and advise us where to meet the van and when. The driver from Kaimana Tours arrived within the allowed time period, and he was courteous and informative. He told us exactly what to expect when we arrived--including paying the $7.50 park admission fee (per person) completing the conservation education presentation (10-15 minutes, tops), and meeting him afterward (where and when). He passed around a chart of the types of sea life we would see in the bay. The view was breath-taking. The beach was beautiful. The staff were helpful and friendly. The snorkeling was great. Lifeguards were attentive--even using amplified sound at one point to caution some poor swimmers that they needed to move closer to the beach. Afterward, the driver met us when and where he had told us, and we were all on our way back to our hotels.

I was a little anxious about whether I could properly dive during my first snorkeling experience, but on the day of the event, I couldn't contain my excitement in front of the great outdoors and the ocean! The weather was a bit chilly with occasional light rain in the morning, so I was really glad I requested a wetsuit!

I personally think it's important to get used to the seawater, especially since I wasn't familiar with it. We practiced with a lecture and learned to put our faces in the water and dive in shallow areas, which allowed us to swim with schools of fish and enjoy snorkeling until the end! There was a little mishap where I lost my wedding ring underwater, and I regretted not taking it off before participating! I apologize for causing concern to the guide! The guide was very reliable and kind, quickly addressing anyone who wasn't feeling well. I would love to participate again when I come back to Hawaii!

We participated as a family of three, including our 5-year-old child. Although our child attends swimming school, this was their first time swimming in the ocean. Given the saltwater and waves, I was a bit anxious about whether they would manage with the snorkeling gear, but with their strong desire to "swim with turtles," we decided to go for it and signed up.

Despite my worries, our child was full of energy and excitement! There were two guides for our group of three families, totaling nine people. We started with a video about the formation of Hanauma Bay, the creatures that inhabit it, and the rules for enjoying the bay. Although it was in English, the visuals made it easy for children to understand, and there was a multilingual audio guide available.

After that, the guides carefully explained how to put on the gear, making it especially easy for the children to understand. They demonstrated how to breathe and what to do if water got into the goggles. The guides stayed at the front and back of our group, leading us to spots where we could see schools of fish and areas where the honu (sea turtles) live. We were able to encounter the honu at quite a close distance! Both adults and children were thrilled!

The honu moved gracefully through the water, occasionally surfacing to breathe, showing us their adorable appearance. After about an hour of snorkeling, even adults felt tired, but our child, despite it being their first time, managed to keep going without complaining! By the time we reached the beach, they exclaimed, "I'm tired!" and "I can't do it anymore!" but with the guides' support, they completed the experience beautifully.

Afterward, we rested on the beach with some snacks (which were delicious) and hydrated before being taken back to our hotel. We were blessed with great weather and knowledgeable guides who knew Hanauma Bay inside and out, making for a very satisfying snorkeling experience.

If you're worried about whether you can bring a preschooler (ages 5-6), don't worry! It's a lot of fun. Even if your child wants to come out early, the guides are there with you, so it's reassuring.

そのあと、ガイドさんが用具の装着について、丁寧に教えてくれ、こどもにはよりわかりやすく、呼吸の仕方やゴーグルに水が入った時の対処方法などを説明してくれました。
グループの先頭と最後尾にガイドさんが付いてくださり、魚の群れがいるスポット、ホヌ（ウミガメ）が生息しているスポットへと案内してくれ、かなりの至近距離でホヌに遭遇できました！！これには大人も子供も大はしゃぎ！
ホヌは私たちにかまわず、ゆったりと水中を移動したり、時折海面に出て呼吸したりと、とってもかわいらしい姿を見せてくれました。
約1時間のシュノーケリングで大人でも疲れるのですが、こどもは初めてにもかかわらず最後まで弱音を吐かず、やり遂げることができました！！さすがに浜辺にあがるころには「疲れたー」「もう無理ー」と言って、ガイドさんにサポートしていただきながら見事完走しました。
そのあとは、浜辺で水分補給とスナック菓子（これがまた美味しい）をいただきながら、からだを休め、ホテルへと送り届けていただきました。
良い天気とハナウマ湾を知り尽くしたガイドさんに恵まれ、大満足のシュノーケリングでした。
未就学児（5-6歳）連れでできるかどうか心配な方、大丈夫ですよ！！とっても楽しいです。
もしお子さんが途中で上がりたくなっても、ガイドさんが一緒なので、安心です。

So much fun! Would highly recommend this to both inexperienced and experienced snorkelers. Dan and Chieko knew the reef well and guided us to spots where we were gaurenteed to see the fish and sea turtles. Dan also takes pictures with his GoPro so you don't have to worry about bringing your own camera. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

I participated with my 5-year-old granddaughter, who only has experience in swimming pools. I was a bit worried about snorkeling, but after a thorough briefing, my granddaughter was thrilled to see a variety of colorful fish and turtles eating, as well as experiencing the sensation of swimming alongside them! Thank you so much for taking care of her the entire time until she got cold and we returned to shore. I regret not borrowing a wetsuit. I have previously experienced both scuba diving and snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, but this was the first time I saw turtles up close. I was really looking forward to this snorkeling during my trip to Hawaii. However, once I got into the water, I became scared of the waves and felt weak. After just a few minutes, I declared that I would wait on the beach, but they kindly taught me and I was able to enjoy snorkeling safely. Throughout the snorkeling, they held my hand, and I can't find words other than gratitude.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see any turtles, but I'll save that for next time. When I go back to Hawaii, I definitely want to do this again.

The weather was nice, and thanks to our guide, we were able to enjoy ourselves until the end. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any sea turtles, but we were able to see quite a variety of colorful fish.

Unfortunately, the waves were strong and the water was murky, so I couldn't see the fish very clearly. However, the guide found a sea turtle towards the end, and I was able to swim with it for quite a long time.

As expected from a master guide, it seems there's a high probability of encountering sea turtles. I've heard that people from other tour companies also follow that guide.

Additionally, I had a reservation mistake just before the trip and had to cancel, but the staff at Veltra responded quickly via email, and I was able to successfully change my schedule and participate in the tour.

Next time I come to Hawaii, I would like to make a reservation through this site again.

あいにく波が強くて水が濁っている日だったので、あまりはっきりと魚は見えなかったのですが、ガイドさんが最後の方でウミガメを見つけてくれて、結構長い時間ウミガメと一緒に泳ぐことができました。

達人ガイドというだけあって、かなりの高確率でウミガメに会えるようです。他のツアー会社の人もそのガイドさんの後をつけてくるのだとか。

また、今回、直前に予約ミスしてキャンセルしないといけない状況になったのですが、veltraのスタッフの方がメールで迅速に対応してくれて、無事に日程を変更してツアーに参加することができました。

Two years ago, I went to Hanauma Bay on a different guided tour, but my 4-year-old daughter was unhappy, and we didn't get to see any turtles, so this time we made a comeback! The guides took great care of my daughter, and we were able to enjoy snorkeling with peace of mind! We also got to see turtles, which was amazing! I highly recommend it!

I had a very luxurious time! You can dive individually, but I think it's much more enjoyable and reassuring to join a tour with a guide like Chieko. I got to see colorful fish and even met two turtles. It's great to receive photos later since it's not easy to take pictures while you're in the water.

個人でも潜ることが出来ますが、ツアーに参加してチエコさんのガイドがあった方が安心で、何倍も楽しめると思います。色とりどりのお魚たちと、カメにも２匹会えました。海に入っている時の写真は普段なかなか撮れないので、後から写真を頂けるのも嬉しいです。

This tour exceeded our expectations, Dan & his wife were amazing tour guides! They were patient especially since I had never snorkeled before & made sure we were comfortable before letting us venture on our own. Best part was that we got to swim with a sea turtle which was icing on the cake. There are a lot of tours out there advertising the same thing but I would highly recommend to book this tour you will be glad you did!

On the last day of our honeymoon, we booked a snorkeling trip at Hanauma Bay, which we were most looking forward to. It was absolutely amazing! We were able to spend a truly happy time meeting lots of fish and sea turtles. Chieko-sensei's kind and attentive guidance was also very good. Thank you so much! Next, I want to try diving!
