I enjoyed the Snorkeling tour. It was my first time snorkeling and had the peace of mind that I would not miss anything and I was in good hands. Dan picked us up from the hotel and made us feel very welcome and gave us ideas on other activities to do around the area. Throughly enjoyed it!

We wouldn't have been able to see the turtles on our own, so swimming alongside the turtles and schools of fish was a precious experience, and we were very satisfied with the snorkeling. Additionally, the photos taken in the ocean were beautiful, and I was moved again when I returned home! It was truly a wonderful bonus to have memories of the ocean in Hawaii captured in such a way. Thank you very much!

自分たちだけではカメに会うこともできなかったですし、カメや魚の大群と一緒に泳ぐなんて貴重な体験をできて、大満足のシュノーケリングでした。

As expected, the town of Kailua was quiet on January 1st.

The beach was lively, but it was a bit windy, making it too cold to swim.

Kayaking looked like a lot of fun! (^_^)

It was a shame that Boots & Kimo's was closed.

But I definitely want to go back!

流石に1月1日は、カイルアの街も静かでした。

ビーチは賑やかでしたが、ちょっと風が強くて泳ぐのは寒かった。

カヤックなどは楽しそうでしたよ(^_^)

ブーツ&キモズがお休みだったのは、残念でした。

でも、また行きたいと思いました！

First time to go snorkeling. We had a great time. Guides were excellent and good teachers. Took us on a route Around the bay We saw 3 turtles and too many different fish to count. Great trip. I would recommend this service.

I participated on Christmas Day. It was a tour that included only beach items and lunch, but I was able to rent a bicycle on-site and also visit Lanikai Beach.
It seems you can also bike to Kailua town, but I was told that there are no shops open on Christmas, so I fully enjoyed the beach.
There was enough time to enjoy just the beach.
There were many Japanese staff members, and they kindly helped me with anything I didn't understand, which was very helpful.

クリスマス当日に参加しました。ビーチアイテムとランチのみ付いているツアーでしたが、現地で追加で自転車をお借りしてラニカイビーチにも行くことができました。
自転車でカイルアの街にいくこともできるようですが、クリスマスに開いているお店は無いということだったので、ビーチを満喫しました。
ビーチだけ満喫するには十分な時間でした。
日本人スタッフの方がたくさんいらっしゃって、分からないことは丁寧に教えていただけたのでとても助かりました。

We participated as a family, and thanks to the very kind and attentive support from the two of you, we were able to enjoy a wonderful half day, for which we are grateful (๑>◡<๑). We were lucky enough to see turtles, which made us happy♬. I highly recommend it!!!

Swimming with two sea turtles was amazing!
There were so many beautiful fish, and the scenery was fantastic.
I think it’s better to take motion sickness medication just in case you might get seasick.
Wearing a wetsuit provides buoyancy and keeps you warm, so I recommend borrowing one.
The tour guides were very kind, making it the best tour ever.
At first, when I was swimming away from my son, they helped bring me back to him, so thank you for that.
Holding hands with my son while swimming with the sea turtles became a lifelong memory. Also, when I got seasick, it was really reassuring to swim back to shore together.

綺麗な魚がいっぱいいてとても良い景色でした
波酔いをするかもしれないので酔い止めを飲んで言ったほうがいいと思います。
ウエットスーツを着てると浮力もあるしあたたかいので借りた方がいいと思います。
ツアーの人もとても優しくて最高のツアーでした。
最初、息子と離れて泳いでいたら、息子のところまで、連れて行ってくれてありがとうございました。
息子と手を繋いで海亀と泳いだことは一生の思い出になりました。また、波酔いをしてしまったら、岸まで一緒に泳いで頂き本当に心強かったです。

We both cannot swim but dan and Jan made us so comfortable that we forgot our worries and went for it. They gave us a lesson before the activity and it helped us a lot. During the activity, Dan was always there.. literally holding my wife's hand through out so that she doesnot panic. We had a beautiful experience to remember. Highly recommend Dan and Jan.

I chose a small group activity since my mother can't swim. The instructor, Dan, held my mother's hand the whole time to reassure her, and she was overjoyed, saying she never thought the day would come when she could go snorkeling! She mentioned that she wants to go snorkeling again on our next trip. Thank you so much, Dan! 😊

泳げない母と一緒と言うことで、少人数のものを選びました。インストラクターのダンさんが、ずっと母の手を握り安心させてくれたとのことで、まさかシュノーケルができる日が来ると思っていなかった！！と大喜びでした。次回も旅行に行ったらシュノーケリングしたいと言っていました。ダンさん本当にどうもありがとうございました＾＾

We had very exciting time. We were kind of scared since that was our first time and we are not good swimmers. But it was very safe and we enjoyed very much. Chieko and Dan, they are very professional and they led us to a sea turtle!
We definitely are coming back again!

It had rained, so the waves were high and the sea was murky, but I was glad to meet a sea turtle! Next time, I want to go when the weather is nice!

what a wonderful tour. snorkeling for a beginner or someone with a little experience. our tour guide made us feel safe and made sure we saw lots of fish and turtles as he knew where they were often seen. going without a guide, I don't think I would have ventured as far from shore as I did.

My first time in Hawaii, and thanks to the support of our guide, all five of us were able to enjoy snorkeling, especially my friend who was trying it for the first time. We were able to see sea turtles twice, which I believe was thanks to our guide's assistance. The comfort of being able to speak in Japanese and the information about local shops that we received were also great. If I ever go to Hawaii again, I would love to request the guide again.

Hanauma Bay was filled with cats, almost like a cat island, which was perfect for me as a cat lover.

初めてのハワイ、シュノーケリング初体験の友人にずっとサポートしてくださり5人全員で楽しむ事が出来ました。ウミガメに2度も会うことが出来たのも、ガイドさんに案内していただいたからこそだと思います。日本語で話せる安心感、教えていただいた現地のお店の情報も良かったです。ハワイに行くことがあったら、またガイドをお願いしたいです。

I experienced this on December 4th. The guide was incredibly nice. It had been raining in Hawaii for a long time, and finally, it cleared up on this day. We were told that it was cold and the chances of seeing a sea turtle were low, so my family and I had given up on that idea, thinking it would be fine just to see various fish. However, miraculously, we were able to encounter one sea turtle! It was truly wonderful. Overall, I was very satisfied because the guide was such a great person!

とーっても感じの良いガイドさんでした。
ハワイはずーっと雨が降って居て、この日にやっと晴れてくれました。寒いしウミガメに会える確率は低いよー。と言われ、いろんなお魚に出会えるだけでいっか。なんて家族で断念していましたが、奇跡的に１匹だけ出会うことができました。
ほんとうに、素敵でした。
とにかくガイドさんがとても良い方だったので大満足でした！

I chose this tour after reading the other reviews and we were definitely not disappointed. The good reviews are all true. Dan is very experienced and friendly. He is very patient and kind with beginners and answered all our questions. The hour long snorkel is definitely enough time. This is a excellent tour for both beginners and experienced snorkelers. We saw so a huge variety of fish and the whole experience met and exceeded our expectations. Thank you Dan for a great day. We recommend you and your company without any hesitation.

My wife and I had a wonderful time on our snorkeling trip. Dave was very patient with us, especially me, as we learned the basics.

My experience was wonderful. It was the first time I had ever been snorkeling and the instructors were fabulous. I would definitely do it again.

I searched for a snorkeling tour where I could see turtles and chose one. I was half-expecting to encounter turtles, but I actually did! It was truly a wonderful memory.

I can't swim at all, but I've experienced snorkeling with a life jacket about ten times both domestically and internationally. They taught me how to wear the mask very carefully, and the equipment was really clean. The mask didn't fog up at all during the experience, which was comfortable!

When they told me to swim from one end to the other, I honestly wondered what I should do, but I managed to swim all the way across thanks to the supportive instructor and the lovely fish.

For the first time, I panicked when I couldn't breathe and ended up swallowing a lot of seawater when I tried to take a breath. That fear lingered for a while, but I was able to enjoy myself, so I was very satisfied.

Even in the morning, the beach gets crowded, and the number of people snorkeling increases, so by the second half, I felt like there was a lot of sand stirring in the water, which made visibility a bit worse.

I highly recommend this for those who want to try snorkeling for the first time or enjoy it safely overseas, as they are very attentive. I definitely want to use their services again when I go to Hawaii next time.

亀が見れるシュノーケルツアーを探して選びました。亀に出会えるかな？期待半分でしたが亀に出会えました。ホントにいい思い出です。
わたしは全く泳げないですが、ライフジャケットを着用してのシュノーケルは国内外で10回ほど経験あります。
マスクのつけかたなど本当にとても丁寧に教えていただけて、道具もとても綺麗でした。マスクも途中で曇るなんてこともなく快適！
ここを端から端まで泳ぐのよ〜と言われたときは正直どうしようかと思いましたが、見事に泳ぎきりました。
サポート上手な先生とすてきなお魚のおかげです。
今回初めて、息が吸えず、次吸ったときには海水を大量に飲んでしまいパニックになりました。その恐怖感からその後は不安も消えませんでしたが、無事に楽しむことができたのでとても満足です。
午前中利用でも、ビーチにはどんどん人も溢れ、シュノーケルされてる人数も増えるので
後半には、海のなかも砂がたくさん舞っていて少し視界が悪くなるような気がします。
初めてのシュノーケルや、海外でも安心して楽しみたい方にはとっても丁寧なのでおすすめです！
次回ハワイに行くときも必ずお世話になりたいです。

The weather was great that day, and the waves were calm, allowing us to have a wonderful snorkeling experience. They guided us to spots that we wouldn't have been able to reach on our own, making it a fantastic tour to join! The two guides took many photos for us, and thanks to them, we were able to capture beautiful memories with the sea turtles.

この日は非常にお天気も良く、波も穏やかだったため、楽しいシュノーケリングを体験させていただけました。自分たちだけでは辿り着けなそうなスポットまでしっかり案内してくださり、参加して大正解のツアーでした！

As a Solo Traveler, I always worry about being the odd man out. Dan was excellent about making me feel like one of the crew. This was an amazing experience and I will definitely do it again.

I was very nervous about this as I had never done it before. Dan is a great instructor, very patient and informative. I would do this again.

It is like an island in island. Beautiful location, beach & fishes...

Driver was on time and very good with quick explanation with equipment and what to do.

During the break in our company trip schedule, five women in their 40s and 50s participated. After watching a video about environmental awareness, we were mindful of our impact on fish and coral as we headed to the sea. With guidance from Dan and Chieko, we felt very safe and enjoyed snorkeling. Some of our group hadn't been in the ocean for years, but with the wetsuits we borrowed in advance, we swam close to the rocky areas without feeling anxious, allowing us to relax and enjoy swimming. We even encountered two turtles! We left the sea feeling very satisfied. Thank you for accommodating those who wanted to stop by Diamond Head along the way. While we were anxious about how President Trump's visit would affect our schedule, you provided various advice, and everyone was able to return safely to the hotel. Thank you for everything.

女性40代から50代の5人で参加しました。環境に配慮するビデオ観てから、魚とサンゴへの配慮をしっかり意識していざ海へ。
ダンとチエコの案内でとても安心して、
シュノーケルを楽しめました。
何年かぶりの海に入る仲間も居ましたが、事前に借りたウエットスーツで
岩場ギリギリに泳ぐ時も、ハラハラせず、
リラックスして、泳ぎをたのしめました。
亀2匹にも遭遇！大満足で海を後にしました。途中、ダイヤモンドヘッドへの途中下車組にも対応下さりありがとうございました。トランプ大統領訪問にスケジュールがどうなるかとハラハラしながら
色々アドバイス下さり、皆無事ホテルに戻ってこれました。

This excursion was our first snorkeling excursion in the Pacific Ocean, and it was our first excursion during our trip to O'ahu. The whole experience was outstanding. Veltra called us the day before to confirm the reservation and advise us where to meet the van and when. The driver from Kaimana Tours arrived within the allowed time period, and he was courteous and informative. He told us exactly what to expect when we arrived--including paying the $7.50 park admission fee (per person) completing the conservation education presentation (10-15 minutes, tops), and meeting him afterward (where and when). He passed around a chart of the types of sea life we would see in the bay. The view was breath-taking. The beach was beautiful. The staff were helpful and friendly. The snorkeling was great. Lifeguards were attentive--even using amplified sound at one point to caution some poor swimmers that they needed to move closer to the beach. Afterward, the driver met us when and where he had told us, and we were all on our way back to our hotels.

Due to a change in the trade winds a few days ago, my son was stung by a Portuguese man o' war (electric jellyfish) that washed ashore. It was quite a situation, but the beach is truly beautiful and a wonderful place. After receiving first aid, my son relaxed on the grassy area.

I think many Japanese people are not very aware of the dangers of the Portuguese man o' war, so for those with children, it's important to do some image searches beforehand and be cautious not to touch them. It seems that they can wash up not only in Kailua but also in Lanikai and Waikiki. Additionally, jellyfish warnings are issued about 9 to 12 days after a full moon.

貿易風の流れが数日前から変わった影響で流れ着いたカツオノエボシ（電気クラゲ）に息子が刺されて、大変でしたが、ビーチは本当に綺麗で、素敵なところです。
刺された息子は応急処置後、芝生の広場でのんびり休息していました。
日本人はあまりカツオノエボシの怖さを知らないと思うので、お子様連れの方は、事前に画像検索などをして、触ったりしないように注意が必要ですね・・・。
カイルアだけでなく、ラニカイ、ワイキキでも漂着することがあるそう。
また満月の9～12日後はクラゲ注意報が出るそうですよ。

So much fun! Would highly recommend this to both inexperienced and experienced snorkelers. Dan and Chieko knew the reef well and guided us to spots where we were gaurenteed to see the fish and sea turtles. Dan also takes pictures with his GoPro so you don't have to worry about bringing your own camera. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Two years ago, I went to Hanauma Bay on a different guided tour, but my 4-year-old daughter was unhappy, and we didn't get to see any turtles, so this time we made a comeback! The guides took great care of my daughter, and we were able to enjoy snorkeling with peace of mind! We also got to see turtles, which was amazing! I highly recommend it!

二年前にハナウマ湾へ別のガイドツアーで行きましたが、4歳だった娘は嫌がり、亀さんも見られず残念だったので、今回リベンジしました！娘のこともしっかりフォローしてくださり、安心してシュノーケリングを楽しむことができました！亀さんも見られて、最高でした！オススメです！！

I had a very luxurious time! You can dive individually, but I think it's much more enjoyable and reassuring to join a tour with a guide like Chieko. I got to see colorful fish and even met two turtles. It's great to receive photos later since it's not easy to take pictures while you're in the water.

とても贅沢な時間を過ごせました！
個人でも潜ることが出来ますが、ツアーに参加してチエコさんのガイドがあった方が安心で、何倍も楽しめると思います。色とりどりのお魚たちと、カメにも２匹会えました。海に入っている時の写真は普段なかなか撮れないので、後から写真を頂けるのも嬉しいです。
