It was cloudy and a bit cold in the morning, but... I was really happy to meet the sea turtles, which I thought I wouldn't be able to see today. The kids were also very happy, and we got to see a lot of other fish as well, which was amazing. I want to try it again on a sunny day next time! (^o^)／

Waikiki was in the rainy season, and on that day, it was pouring rain on and off. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great, but my parents (in their 60s) and my 10-year-old child really enjoyed snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. The water temperature was low and a bit chilly, so we rented suits for $10 on the day. The guide, who also provided transportation, was very kind, and the three of us, being first-time snorkelers, were very pleased with the attentive service. I definitely recommend going with a guide!

I stayed at Hilton Hawaiian Village and mistakenly misunderstood the meeting place until the day of the event, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. I was unsure of what to do, so I was grateful to receive a call on the day. I would like to try again when I travel next time, hopefully in clear weather!

ワイキキは雨季か伸びており、当日も土砂降りの雨が降ったり止んだり・・生憎のお天気でしたが、両親（60代）と10歳の子供はハナウマ湾でのシュノーケルをとても楽しめたようです(^^) 水温が低く肌寒かったので、当日10ドルでスーツをお借りして潜りました。送迎兼インストラクターの方がとても親切だったようで、シュノーケル初の3人は丁寧な対応にとても喜んでいました。皆さんにも是非ガイド付きをおススメします‼︎ 当方、ヒルトンHVに宿泊し当日まで集合場所を勘違いしており、大変ご迷惑をお掛けし申し訳ありませんでした。どうしていいかわからなかったので、当日連絡を頂けて助かりました。また渡航の際、快晴の時に再チャレンジしたいと思います‼︎

Our guide was cheerful, efficient (this is important when getting novices into a wetsuit!), and informative. She asked us what we wanted to see, and when my daughter said turtles, she took us straight to two turtles after an introductory snorkel lesson. This was my second trip to Hawaii, and I was so glad I finally took a lesson. For the next week, I was able to finally relax, enjoy, and see a lot of interesting sea life. The snorkel at Haunama was spectacular also.

I wasn't able to swim as well as I thought during my first snorkeling experience, but they taught me very kindly, and I was able to enjoy it.

Hanauma Bay was also very beautiful, and I am very satisfied.

The photos were really beautiful, and I took a lot of them. Since returning to Japan, I often reflect on the experience! Thank you very much.

We enjoyed the snorkel tour so very much! Our tour guide was Dan and he was very methodical through the whole process of making us comfortable in water and a short lesson for the boys. They had a whale of time snorkeling the Hanauma bay! Thank you!

This review is more for the Hanauma Bay. Such a beautiful place and all-around outstanding experience. I would definitely recommend a visit even if you don't plan on snorkling. I am grateful to have found this tour to take.

The weather was cloudy with some waves, and the visibility wasn't great, but thanks to Dan and Chieko's excellent guidance, we encountered a honu (sea turtle) twice. We also came across large schools of fish and saw many colorful and rare fish.

Since my older child is 12 and my younger one is 6, they took breaks along the way. When my younger child's glasses slipped and caused a panic, they quickly helped out. My wife, who can't swim because she's afraid of water, was kindly taught how to manage. We encountered the honu again.

We ended up retiring partway through because my younger child got tired, but he seemed satisfied. I would love to do this again if the opportunity arises.

For those considering snorkeling, I highly recommend it. However, it seems there are days when the weather and waves can be challenging, so users need to understand that aspect.

天気は曇りで波も少しあり、透明度は良くなかったけどダンさんとチエコさんの抜群の案内でホヌに2回も遭遇しました°ʚ(*´꒳`*)ɞ°.
魚の大群にも遭遇したり、カラフルな魚や珍しい魚をいっぱい見ましたꉂꉂ(ᵔᗜᵔ*)笑
上の子12歳、下の子が6歳だったので途中で休憩しながら進んでくれました。途中下の子のメガネがズレてパニックになってる時もすぐに対応してくれ、しかもウチの嫁さんはｶﾅﾂﾞﾁで泳げないのに優しく教えていただき。ホヌにも遭遇しました‎|•'-'•)و✧ 途中でしんどくなり、下の子とリタイヤしましたが本人は満足そうですꉂꉂ(ᵔᗜᵔ*)笑
また機会があればお願いしたいです。

ただし天気や波でどうにもならない日もあるみたいなので、そこだけ利用者も理解は必要です。

Dan was super friendly and informative. We had no trouble getting picked up and into the reserve. He ensured our comfort, safety and overall quelmed the anxieties of a first time snorkeler. He also carried a go pro which meant that my awesome first experience was documented. I’d absolutely recommend it as well as do it again.

I was able to snorkel without any anxiety because they explained the methods and sea conditions in detail in Japanese. I hadn't reserved a diving suit in advance, but they suggested that it could help prevent cold and injuries, so I borrowed one on the day. Even with the suit on, I got quite cold after about an hour of swimming, so I was really glad I could borrow it. I was moved to see not only a variety of fish but also a sea turtle up close. They picked me up from the hotel and dropped me back off, which made for a comfortable experience. They also shared various information about Hawaii during the car ride, which was helpful. Thank you for the valuable experience!

シュノーケリングの方法や海の状態を日本語でひとつひとつ丁寧に説明してもらえたので、不安なく行うことができました。ダイビングスーツを事前に申込んでいませんでしたが、寒さや怪我を防ぐことができると提案していただき、当日急遽お借りしました。スーツを着ても一時間ほど泳ぐとかなり寒くなったので、借りることができて本当によかったと思いました。たくさんの種類の魚だけでなく、ウミガメを間近で見ることができ、感動しました。ホテルでピックアップしてもらい、帰りもホテルまで送っていただけるので、快適でした。車中でもハワイのことを色々と教えてもらい、参考になりました。貴重な体験をありがとうございました！

The weather wasn't very good on the day we experienced it, and the water temperature was low. We hadn't applied for a wetsuit in advance, but the guide recommended that we rent one on the spot for an additional $10. I'm really glad we borrowed the wetsuits! It was cold, and since we swam in shallow water, if we hadn't had them, I think I would have been shivering from the cold and scraping my knees.

Although the weather was bad and the water clarity was low, we were lucky enough to encounter turtles twice.

The guide spoke fluent Japanese, and I was able to casually ask various questions.

It was a very good experience!

体験した日はあまり天気も良くなく、水温も低かったです。
私たちは、事前にウエットスーツの申し込みをしていなかったのですが、ガイドさんに勧められてプラス10ドルでその場で借りることが出来ました。
ウエットスーツを借りてよかったと思います！！
寒かったし、水面が低いところを泳いだので、もし来てなかったら、寒さに震えながら、膝を擦りむいていたと思います。


天気が悪く水の透明度は低かったですが、ラッキーなことに、2回もカメに遭遇出来ました。

ガイドさんも日本語がペラペラで、気軽に色々きけました。

Punctual pick up from hotel. Dan, our guide friendly and informative. Small group of 6 and 2 guides was ideal. Very well organised with no waiting around and extra options like wetsuits available if required. Bonus was photos of our experience shared at no extra cost! A great morning!

My driver was so nice and friendly ! I ended up being the only one on the shuttle ! He was so nice and friendly and told me about the island and answers all my questions ! It made my experience very good ! I also changed the time and I again was the only one to get picked up and no problem! They were very nice on the phone as well and it was a great price !

I've done snorkeling a few times domestically, but Hawaii is on a whole different scale (laughs). The fish are larger, and I even got to meet a sea turtle! It was truly moving!! It's definitely better to have a wetsuit! The rocks and coral can hit your feet. The snorkel was also the type that doesn't let water in, so I didn't end up drinking seawater even after swimming for a long time♪ The guide was very kind, and I definitely want to go again.

シュノーケリングを国内で何度かやってきましたが、ハワイはやはりスケールが違いました(笑)魚は大きいし、ウミガメにも会えました！本当に感動です！！ウェットスーツは絶対にあった方が良いです！岩場とか珊瑚が足に当たります。シュノーケルも水が口に入ってこないタイプで長時間泳いでも海水を飲むことはありませんでした♪ガイドさんもとっても優しい方でぜひまた行きたいです

It was drizzling on the day, but since it was Hawaii, the rain stopped by the time we went into the ocean. The weather was a bit chilly for swimming, but since I had borrowed a wetsuit, it felt manageable. Thanks to the Japanese staff, I was able to swim comfortably and have fun! I was thrilled to encounter three sea turtles. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to go snorkeling in Hawaii.

当日は小雨だったのですが、ハワイの天気なので海に入る頃にはやんでいました。海に入るには寒い天気でしたが、ウエットスーツを借りていたのでそこまで、まだ入れるなという感じでした。日本人スタッフのおかげで、安心して楽しく泳ぐことができました！なんとウミガメに3匹も遭遇することができ感動しました。ハワイでシュノーケリングをしたいと思っている人はおすすめです。

The day before, there was heavy rain, so they kindly lent us bicycles for free since we couldn't swim at Kailua Beach. We were originally planning to go to Lanikai Beach, so this was a great help. However, unlike in Japan, the bicycles didn't have brakes; they used the pedals for braking, which was a bit scary at first.

Additionally, the tour included mats and snorkeling, so there were no inconveniences.

前日が大雨でカイルアビーチで遊泳できなかった為、自転車を無料で貸し出して下さいました。元々ラニカイビーチに行く予定だった為、とても助かりました。けれど、日本と違い自転車のブレーキがなくペダルを用いてのブレーキだったので初めは怖かったです。
他の点としてツアーの中に、ゴザやシュノーケリングも含まれていたので不便な点はありませんでした。

I was finally able to meet a sea turtle! The instructions were very thorough, and the explanations were plentiful, making it easy to understand and feel comfortable participating. Thank you for a truly enjoyable and wonderful time!

Our initial plan was to do some snorkeling, but at Kailua Beach, the wind was strong, the waves were rough, and the water was murky with sand, so we gave up on snorkeling. Plus, it was very cold! We changed our plans and rented bicycles for $10, allowing us to head into town and enjoy the local atmosphere, which was different from Waikiki, while cycling. We rode our bikes all the way to Lanikai Beach and were amazed by the beautiful scenery. The famous Bob's Pizza was incredibly delicious.

Since you can organize your free time as you wish, I think those who want to spend their time freely will really enjoy it. We had a great time.

There are also a few Japanese staff members, which is reassuring. They provide lockers with passcodes, so you can store your valuables. We received kind assistance from a staff member named Emiko. Thank you!

当初の目的はシュノーケルのアクティビティでしたが、カイルアビーチでは
風が強く波が荒くて砂でにごってるのでシュノーケルは諦めました。しかも、とても寒い！
予定を変更して１０ドルで自転車をレンタルできるので、町に出かけてワイキキとは違うローカルの雰囲気を眺めサイクリングを楽しみました。
そのまま自転車でラニカイビーチまで出かけて素晴らしい景色と出会い
感動。評判のボブのピザはとっても美味しかったです。
フリータイムを自分で組み立てられるので、自由に過ごしたい方は
とても楽しめると思います。私たちはとても楽しかったです。

ショップスタッフの方は日本人の方も数人いますし安心です。
暗証番号付のロッカーを貸してもらえるので貴重品も預けられます。
私たちはスタッフのえみこさんに親切にしていただきました。

Well planned tour. Excellent and friendly guide. Best of all it rained and we pretty much got the bay to ourselves. Would definitely recommend it and do it again.

Great trip. Well organized, all the equipment provided. Guide knew exactly where to find some rare animals. Pickup was from a hotel a quarter mile from where we were staying in Honolulu. Try to go at high tide if possible.

The weather was great, and the sea was very beautiful! The tour guide was very kind, and even though I hadn't rented a wetsuit, they had it ready for me. I had left the money at the hotel, but it was fine to pay later! I'm really glad I rented it! I wasn't cold, and I enjoyed myself without drowning! I even saw three sea turtles! You absolutely have to go!

天気もよく海がとてもきれいでした！添乗員さんがとても親切で、ウエットスーツを借りていなかったのですが、準備してくださっており、お金もホテルにおいていましたが後払いで大丈夫でした！借りて本当に良かったです！寒くなく溺れず楽しめました！海亀も三匹みれました！絶対いくべきです！

Three women participated. Luckily, we were able to see two sea turtles, which was very exciting! Wearing wetsuits was definitely the right choice as it protected us from the cold and the coral. In fact, one of us was a beginner who couldn't swim and was experiencing the ocean for the first time. She was really scared when it came to putting her face in the water, getting water in her ears, and not being able to breathe through her nose. At one point, she even cramped up and we worried she might have to give up. However, thanks to the kind support of our instructor Chieko, she managed to complete the one-hour snorkeling session. We are very grateful for all the help. She was really happy to have had a great experience. So, even those who can't swim can participate with peace of mind, and there's no doubt that you'll feel glad you joined!

女3人で参加。ラッキーな事に2匹のホヌに会うことができてとっても興奮しましたウェットスーツ着用により、寒さやサンゴから身を守ることができたのでお借りして正解でした(^^)/ 実は今回、泳げない＆海水浴初体験者がひとりいて、本人は顔をつけることや耳に水が入ること、鼻から呼吸ができないことから、浸水時にとっても怖がり、また、途中、足がつったり…と一時はリタイヤか⁈と心配しましが、インストラクターChiekoさんの親切なサポートにより、初体験の彼女も何とか1時間のシュノーケリング を終えることができました。大変お世話になりありがとうございました。本人も、良い体験が出来たことをとても喜んでおりました。ですので、泳げない方も安心して参加できますし、参加して良かった！と思えること間違いなしです。

There were five of us in total, including ourselves. The guide was really kind and entertaining! It was my first time snorkeling, and without the guide, I would have had no idea how to swim while putting on the gear. During the experience, we were able to see sea turtles twice, and we even got some photos taken. They asked if we needed wetsuits (for $10) when we participated. The guide strongly recommended it, so we decided to get one, and I truly believe I would have been cold and caught a cold without it. While it would be fine for just playing in the water at the beach, they mentioned it was necessary since we would be swimming for over an hour, and I am really grateful for that.

If I have friends going to Hawaii, I would definitely recommend this tour!

ガイドの方が本当に親切で面白く案内をして下さいました！
初めてシュノーケルをしましたが、ガイドさんがいなければ器具をつけながらの泳ぎ方など、全く分からずだったと思います。
また、参加中にはウミガメを2回も見ることができ、写真も撮って頂けました。
参加の際にウエットスーツがいるかどうか聞いて下さいました(10$)。ガイドの方が強く推して下さったのでお願いしましたが、もしなければ寒くて風邪をひいていたと思います。。
ビーチでの水遊び程度であれば無くても大丈夫だが、1時間以上泳ぐので必要と言ってくださり、本当に感謝しています。

またハワイに行く友人などいれば是非オススメしたいツアーでした！

I went on the shuttle bus knowing that the bay was beautiful from above. Quick however thorough instructions on the equipment. Once you get used to it the beauty you find in the clear waters are amazing. After this outing everything was stress free for me. All I can say is if you can swim you had not miss this.

Great experience overall. It was amazing to see all of those beautiful fish swimming in and out of the reef. I would absolutely recommend this experience to friends.

I participated with my mother on January 5th. It was our first time, and my mother, who is 65 years old and had a past experience of almost drowning in the ocean, was quite anxious at the start.

However, thanks to Dan and Chieko's assistance, we were able to enjoy the experience until the end and see beautiful fish and turtles.

I apologize to the other participants for monopolizing Chieko, but both my mother and I were very satisfied!

My mother, who experienced snorkeling for the first time at 65, gained confidence from it and says every day that she wants to go again soon, haha.

This is an activity that both beginners and experienced individuals can enjoy. While you can visit Hanauma Bay on your own, Dan and Chieko know the best spots, so if you're going, I highly recommend this option.

1/5に母と二人で参加しました。二人とも初めてで、65歳になる母は昔海で溺れたこともあり、不安いっぱいでのスタートでした。

でも、DanさんとChiekoさんの手助けのおかげで最後まで楽しむことができ、綺麗なお魚や亀を見ることができました。

Chiekoさんを独り占めしてしまい、一緒に参加した他の方には申し訳ありませんでしたが、母も私も大満足でした！

65歳にもなって初めてシュノーケリング体験した母は、自信にも繋がり、早くまた行きたいと毎日言っております笑

初めての方も経験者の方も楽しめるアクティビティです。ハナウマベイは個人でも行けますが、ベテランのお二人だからこそ見どころスポットを熟知されてますので、せっかく行かれるのでしたらこちらがおススメです。

I was a bit anxious about snorkeling for the first time since I'm not a strong swimmer, but Chieko and Dan kindly and patiently taught me, allowing me to enjoy observing the underwater world. I got to see sea turtles and a lot of fish, and the weather was great, making it truly the best experience. I participated alone, but I had a wonderful time, and on the way back, they recommended some great places to eat, which was very helpful. Thank you so much! I will definitely join again!

Although we were a bit anxious as it was our first experience with snorkeling, we were able to encounter the wonderful underwater world of Hanauma Bay thanks to the appropriate and courteous guidance of our Japanese instructor.
