Enjoyed the show. The entertainment was very good. We paid to be picked up. I am so glad we made that decision. Traffic was bad but our driver Johnny handled it like a pro. Greg checked us in and then narrated the trip. He had a great sense of humor and made the ride very enjoyable. The chief also had a great sense of humor and made the stories very interesting. We were also surprised with flowers for our anniversary. They were all very courteous and made you feel like part of the family. We will definitely go again if we are ever back in Hawaii.

This is my fifth visit to Hawaii after four years, but it was my first time at Hanauma Bay. Having experienced snorkeling in Miyako Island and the Great Barrier Reef, I underestimated it. Perhaps due to my age, I struggled with breathing through my mouth and even got seasick, so I was very grateful for the guide's assistance. The guide held my hand the whole time and helped me see a lot of colorful fish. Because Hanauma Bay is protected by nature, you can observe the fish eating the food stuck to the rocks. Even at over 60 years old, I felt safe with the guide's support. However, I recommend taking motion sickness medication for those who are concerned.

I reserved tickets for the show on June 4th (Sunday) the night before using my smartphone and attended. The luau dance was overwhelming. In particular, the fire dance was powerful and breathtaking. There was also hula dancing, and we enjoyed a packed show. The leader's talk was witty and engaging, and he was great at keeping everyone entertained for a long time.

Both my wife and I were very satisfied with the show itself, but we hope for some improvements in the dinner. However, I also think that unless it's a hotel luau dinner show on Oahu, one shouldn't expect much from the food. The actual jet ski experience was exhilarating, racing across the sea. Although the speedometer showed around 30 kilometers per hour, it felt much faster. 実際のジェットスキー体験は海の上を大激走、メーターでは時速30キロ前後ではあったもののかなり体感速度が速く感じた。太陽の下、海洋の上、吹き上がる水飛沫を受けながら走り抜ける爽快感は見事だった。設置された4つのウキを時計回りに周回するのを繰り返すというものだが、ジェットスキーを手軽に楽しめるという点では申し分ない。当日は波が高く、ジェットスキーが大きく揺られたりハンドルをとられたりすることもあり、運転には少し慣れが必要と感じた(2〜3週すれば慣れると思うが、環境や人による)。自分は妻とタンデムで乗ったが、妻は2週だけ運転して怖かったとのことで、残りはずっと自分が運転した。波を越えるのは楽しいが、何度も連続していると体勢を崩してじい、少し怖いかも。
同時に周回するジェットスキー(参加者)は6台ほどで、基本は20〜30m空けて走行、外側からなら追い越し有り。ジェットスキーの走った後は独特な波が生まれるため、前の人が近いと自然に波に揺られることになる。自分が運転した時は、前にいた青年がわざと蛇行運転をし、波が不規則に立ってしまってとても運転しづらかった。マナーは守ってほしかった...。
ちなみに運転中、GoProをボートのハンドル部分中心につけ、写真や動画を撮ってくれる。ツアーが終わって受付の施設に戻ると写真等を見せてくれるが、購入するには50ドル以上のお金がかかった。
全体としては十分に楽しめるマリンスポーツとして最高の思い出となった。とにかくスタッフがみんな優しく丁寧で好感を持てる。
※乗る前に勧められるゴーグル購入(10ドル)は、ほぼ必要ないと思われる。

The ocean, river and all around area where we kayaked were beautiful - and the icing on the cake was the abundance of turtles! I went on the 5-Star cruise. I made a reservation with the Celebration Plan (guaranteed window seat) and paid for it, but I was booked under the regular plan. While the manager was confirming my reservation, I couldn't eat the food in front of me for about 30 minutes after being seated. In the end, it turned out that the reservation from VELTRA to Star of Honolulu was under the regular plan, and I was treated as such until the end. I never expected something like this to happen. I'm very disappointed.

Also, it seems that the shuttle bus got caught in traffic, so by the time we arrived, dinner had already started, and other guests who arrived earlier were enjoying their meals.

I thought there might be a separate entrance for the 5-Star guests, but there wasn't anything like that. We all lined up at one entrance to board the ship.

The schedule mentioned that there would be a welcome reception by the captain on the exclusive deck on the top floor for 5-Star guests, but there was nothing of the sort. We were just guided to line up and proceed into the ship.

The food wasn't particularly delicious; it was average. It was mentioned that the meat could be cut with a fork, but it was more like something you could manage to cut with a knife.

I have been to Hawaii several times, and regarding the Hilton fireworks, I've seen them from various places, but sitting on the beach south of the Rainbow Tower is the best spot. Watching the fireworks from the cruise ship was an experience, but since it was from a distance, it lacked impact.

Additionally, guests from the lower deck were casually coming up the stairs to the 5-Star deck. There was a rope at the top of the stairs, but they seemed to know how to unhook it to get in and then rehook it. These were regular guests, not staff.

I was considering this might be my elderly mother's first and last overseas trip, so I regret spending a lot of money and time on this optional tour. I hope this review can be helpful to someone.

結局、VELTRAからスターオブホノルルへの予約が通常プランだったそうで、最後まで通常プランとしての扱いとなりました。
こんなことが起きるなんて、思いもしませんでした。非常に残念で仕方ありません。

また、恐らく送迎バスが渋滞に巻き込まれたせいで、私たちが到着した頃にはすでにディナーは始まっており、先に着いていた他のお客さんは食事を楽しんでました。

乗船する際に5スター用の入口でもあるのかなと思ってましたが、特にそのようなものはなく、大勢で列に並んで一か所の入り口から乗船しました。

5スターだと「最上階の専用デッキでキャプテンによるウェルカムレセプションがある」というスケジュールが記載されていますが、そんなものは一切ありません。列になって船内に進むように案内されました。

料理も、特別おいしいものではなかったですね。普通です。お肉がフォークで切れるという記載がありますが、ナイフでがんばって切れるぐらいの感じでした。

私自身は何度かハワイに行ったことがあり、ヒルトンの花火については、いろいろな場所から見てますが、レインボータワーの南側のビーチに座って見るのが一番ですね。
クルーズ船から花火を見れたことは一つの経験にはなりましたが、遠くから見ることになるので、全然迫力はないです。

From the beginning the crew made us feel completely comfortable. The trip out to the sandbar was relaxing yet exciting at the same time as we looked back upon the shoreline admiring the greenery that the island presented. The sandbar was just breathtaking!!! It was so amazing to think that we were standing in the ocean on a beach....crazy! The cruise around afterwards presented not only some sea turtles, but two large schools of manta rays feeding on the surface.
Overall trip was completely enjoyable and we plan on bringing all of our friends and family when they visit!!!!
On a side note, parking is extremely difficult in/on the marina, so just park on the side of the highway (everyone does) and it's just a short walk to the boat.
Make this one of your excursions when you visit!!!!!

It was absolutely amazing. I chose the 150m option, and it was the right decision. There were no Japanese people in the same group, but someone from Mexico talked to me, and we exchanged our smartphones to take pictures and videos of each other. I was also able to buy photos taken by the photographer for $40. There are so many pictures and videos from various angles, and just looking back at them is enjoyable.

What an exciting adventure for our first-time parasailors! Our 8 & 5 year old granddaughters had the time of their lives parasailing with their Grammy! They loved seeing a green sea turtle as well as all the wonderful scenery of Oahu! The crew was kind and humorous. We had a wonderful experience!

I participated for the first time with my parents and aunt, and since it was Friday, we were able to see the fireworks at the Hilton, which was very nice. The food was delicious as well. However, I had heard that the lobster would be shelled for easier eating, but when I asked, the person in charge didn’t know how to do it. They asked someone else for help, and while they did shell one portion, the rest I had to do myself, which was a bit challenging. Also, the person who came to pick us up from the hotel couldn’t speak Japanese, and it seemed that some Japanese guests didn’t understand why they were receiving stickers. The stickers were for the bus number for the return trip, and I was told repeatedly that if I lost it, I wouldn’t be allowed on the bus. I was advised to take a photo with my phone. All the staff were cheerful, and we were able to have a great time.

両親と叔母の5人で初めて参加しましたが、金曜日だったのでヒルトンの花火も見ることができてとても良かったです。料理も美味しかったです。ただ、ロブスターは食べやすいように殻を剥いて貰えると聞いていたのですが、お願いしたら担当の方もやり方を知らず、また違う人にやり方を聞いて殻を剥いてくれたものの、一人分だけで後は自分でということだったので、ちょっと大変でした。後、ホテルに迎えに来る方が日本語が話せない人で、何人かの日本人の方達は何でシールを貰うのか理解していなかったようです。シールは、帰りのバスの番号で、無くしたら乗せてくれないと何回も繰り返して言われました。携帯で写真を撮ることを勧められました。スタッフの方々は皆んな明るくて、楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。

Everything was great, staff was friendly. We went first thing in the morning so we got the boat to our selfs. Definitely not as scary as it seems! And I was SUPER scared at first, but I think I would definitely do it again! Recommend to get the pictures, they came out great!

It was the best experience for my first time. The crew members were fun and really helped to create a lively atmosphere. It became a wonderful memory of Hawaii for both my wife and me. There was also a photo session (for an additional fee), and we are still enjoying it after returning home.

I had been thinking about going to Kualoa Ranch for a while, and finally went with my mother.

It seems that if you sign up on-site, there are one-hour and two-hour courses available, but this tour was the two-hour course. The two hours flew by in no time. If you're going to do it, I definitely recommend the two-hour course.

You can explore every corner of the vast Kualoa Ranch and fully enjoy Hawaii's magnificent nature. We even got to drive among a herd of cows, which was quite fun.

They provided confirmations before boarding in Japanese, and the guide was friendly, taking videos and photos when we handed over our smartphones. My elderly mother was also thrilled, and it was a fulfilling day! I highly recommend it.

クアロアランチ、いつか行こうと思いつつなんとなく「また今度」になっていましたが、母と参加してきました。
現地申込み？だと１時間コースと２時間コースがあるようですが、こちらのツアーは２時間コース。
あっという間の２時間でした。
せっかくやるなら絶対２時間コースがよいです。
広大なクアロアランチの隅から隅を巡り、ハワイの壮大な自然を満喫できます。
牛の群れの間を走行したりもできました（これがなかなか楽しかった）。

乗車前の確認などは日本語でしてくれ、ガイドさんもフレンドリーでスマホを渡すと動画などの撮影もして下さいます。
高齢の母も大興奮の充実した１日でした！
とてもオススメです。
