This was a great hop from Maui to Lanai and we had the added benefit of seeing several whales along the way over and a school of dolphins playing alongside the ferry on the trip back. We'd do it again!

I have experienced horseback riding a few times before, but this was my first time riding in such a professional setting.

They selected a horse that suited each individual, and without any fear, I was able to spend a wonderful time in the great nature of Maui and enjoy the fresh air♪

This time, I participated in the morning course, but if I have the chance again, I would definitely like to join the afternoon course!

今まで何度か乗馬を体験しましたが、
こんなに本格的な乗馬は初めてでした。

一人一人に合った馬を選んでいただき、怖いこともなく、
マウイの大自然と美味しい空気の中、とても素敵な時間を過ごすことができました♪

今回は午前中のコースを体験しましたが、またチャンスがあれば、是非午後のコースに参加してみたいと思います！

Blue Hawaiian is the company that filmed the scenes for Jurassic Park and our pilot took us out to where the filming took place. Absolutely beautiful. Just the helicopter ride itself is a real rush but to see 2500 ft waterfalls, the tallest ocean cliffs in the world and a rock shaped like a sleeping elephant in the middle of the ocean is just a bonus. The staff was very friendly and the pilot certainly knew the history of the islands; he kept it very interesting. We purchased the DVD of our flight and the DVD of the islands from a helicopter view and both are awesome.
Do it!!

Delicious food, poor MaiTais, Corny Host, Great Dancers.

We take this excursion to Molikini and Turtle Island every time we visit Maui. The crew of the catamaran, Capt Fish, David and Gary were amazing. They kept us safe, hydrated with water (or adult beverages), and made sure everyone that got in the water, got out of the water.

They also had a professional photographer who made sure everyone had a grand time, and preserved it on a CD you will not believe. The colors light up and we are glad he was along. We didn't have to worry about taking pictures.

We saw lots of whales, beautiful fish, but were a bit short on the turtles.

The selection of meats, cheeses and salad for lunch were a surprise. The sandwiches were easy to assemble, the bread was fresh, and it was just really good.

My husband and I have been to the Old Lahaina Luau and prefer it to this one hands down. Drums of the Pacific seemed corny, as another reviewer posted. The emcee sounded like a barker for a side show..."and now the GRRREEAATT, the FaNTAAAASSSTIC, So-And-So (can't remember the name of the dancer) performing the ...whatever. My brother and his wife, first time visitors, were with us and enjoyed it. We didn't tell them any different so as not to spoil their evening. For first timers, it's OK but if you want culture and history, Old Lahaina Luau is far better.

we had a very nice new years eve. maybe we had expected something more after the show? we was sent away very quickly!

This was an ultimate favorite trip with Hawaii activities. The most interesting part for us was the star sky and our two guides Greg and Chris. They were so impressive good to tell about the stars and volcanoes. So Hawaii activities be sure to keep those two guys as loooong as possible. Worth every penny!

The sunset was beautiful, but I was also impressed by the magnificence of the night sky! The meal was a delicious makunouchi bento, which was a relief for my stomach after eating so much bread. The guide's slightly poignant stories were moving and felt like a cleansing for my heart.

However, those with a slight cold should be cautious! I ended up with acute aerotitis media and had to have my eardrum surgically opened after returning home.

Next time, I would love to see the summer night sky!

夕日もさることながら、夜空の素晴らしさも感激しました！
食事もおいしい幕の内弁当で、パン食続きだった胃にはありがたかったです。
ガイドの方のちょっとしんみりと考えさせられるお話も私的には心が洗い流されるようで感動しました。

ただ、鼻風邪気味の方は要注意！急性航空性中耳炎になってしまい、帰国してから鼓膜を切開しました。

今度は夏の夜空も見てみたいな！と思います。

We wanted to experience a Luau. It was our first time to the islands. Even though the weather was less than great we had a great time. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to have the luau experience. The food was great.

I chose the four winds II because of the glass bottom viewing. We are a family of 4 and 2 swim and 2 do not. All had a great time. Snorkeling was great and saw some whales and turtles on our way back. The pulled pork sandwiches they serve onboard after snorkeling were the best. Would do this again.

Our tour guide was very nice and a good driver, and the vehicle was clean and in good condition. My neice and I were surprised and shocked to learn of the history of the people of Lanai'i and how past decisions of a few people greatly impacted the island and how those decisions continue to impact it today. Overall the tour was very enjoyable and I recommend it.

Our guide Glenn was really great. Not only was he a excellent driver ( and the mountain driving can be challenging), he was very knowlegable about Maui, Hawaii and talked us through most of the tour. He was very polite, informative and over all was great. We were on time for everything and he kept everyone interested. I'm glad we chose to do this, because being our first time in Hawaii I would not have wanted to drive the mountain in the early hours of the morning. I would definitely go back again. The Haleakala sunrise and crater are a wonder to be seen. Thanks Glenn for making it even more enjoyable.

Unfortunately, we couldn't see the sunset, but we were able to see the Milky Way and many shooting stars! I've participated in various tours abroad, but I was surprised by the attentive service of our guide! They provide blankets, coats, and gloves, but I wish I had worn tights or long socks to keep my feet a bit warmer. There were some rocky areas, but if you're confident about not twisting your ankle, I think it's totally fine to wear heels. I highly recommend it!

残念ながらサンセットは見れませんでしたが、天の川や流れ星がたくさん見れました♪海外で色んなツアーに参加したことがありますが、当ガイドさんの丁寧なサービスにビックリしました！！
毛布、コート、手袋を貸して頂けますが、タイツかロングソックスをで足元をもうちょっと暖かくして行けば良かったと思いました。ゴツゴツした岩場も少しありましたが、足を捻ったりしない自信があれば全然ヒールでも大丈夫だと思います。お勧めです♪

Overall this was a good experience for our first luau. The setting was very nice and the fire dancer a huge hit. I thought the dancers and entertainers were great but I would have enjoyed something a little more interactive. Example, instead of just selling the crafts, allowing children to interact. The food was good but the drinks were watered down. I didn't even finish one and ended up buying a $15 drink from the bar. We would likely attend again but also might look for something a little more interactive for the kids.

The staff at the Mendes Ranch was absolutely incredible. The lunch was excellent and the view was spectacular. It was the first time we had done something like this and found it to be something we would do again. Freddy and Roberta were just the nicest people. My husband and I walked away with memories that will last a lifetime. We will be back to do this again Dec. 2013. Until then Mahalo....

Every December, I go to a remote island to enjoy snorkeling trips, but the weather is often bad during this time. However, this time the weather was fantastic, and we were able to relax comfortably on the deck of the boat.

There were some rough waves, so one person got seasick and had to sit down, but since they are generally weak on boats, there's not much you can do about that. The snorkeling at Molokini Island has excellent water clarity, but... although I wasn't expecting much, I was still disappointed by the lack of coral and fish. Having experienced Okinawa, the Maldives, and Palau, I can't help but compare.

At the turtle spot, there were several turtles, and I even encountered one that was floating while mating. However, the visibility there wasn't great, and there were no fish at all. Our group was the only Japanese people there.

Our guide, Takako, was friendly and cheerful, which made our experience enjoyable and comfortable. My father, who couldn't go into the water, was also satisfied because the weather was nice.

毎年１２月には離島に行きシュノーケルトリップを楽しみますがこの時期は天候が悪いことも多いです。しかし今回はすっごく良いお天気で船のデッキで気持ち良くすごせました。
少し波が荒かったため１名だけ船酔いしダウンしましたがもともと船に弱いためこればっかりは仕方ないですね。
モロキニ島のシュノーケルは海の透明度は抜群ですが・・・期待していなかったもののやっぱり珊瑚や魚が少なく残念でした。沖縄やモルディブ・パラオを体験してるのでそれと比べてしまいます。カメがいるスポットには何匹もいて交尾しながら浮いてくるカメにも遭遇しました。ただここは透明度は良くありませんし全く魚はいません。
日本人は私達グループのみでした。
ガイドのタカコさんは気さくで天真爛漫。おかげでこちらも楽しく快適に過ごせました。
海に入れない父も天気が良かったので満足していました。

The view from Haleakalā was truly amazing. The sunset changes its expression from day to day, and the starry sky was unlike anything I've ever seen; it's beyond words.

Also, our guide, Yamapee, had such a pleasant personality. His attentive service, guidance at the location until our arrival, and the insider tips about Maui made for an experience that exceeded my expectations.

The warm clothing provided was great, and there was nothing to complain about—both the outdoor bento and the grilled ice were wonderful!

ハレアカラの絶景は、本当に最高でした。その日その日によって表情を変えるサンセット、今まで見たことがない程の星空、言葉になりません。

そしてガイドのYamapeeさんの人柄がとても心地よいです。
気配りの届いた対応、到着までの場所でのガイド、マウイのお得情報も聞くことができ、思った以上の素晴らしい体験ができました。

防寒具も充実で悪いとこナシです～、幕の外弁当もグリグリアイスも良かった～

This was a completely unique experience. The beauty and grand experience of the sunrise over the volcano was breathtaking. Bob, our guide, was prompt, courteous and entertaining while being very attentive to the difficult road conditions. He also gave us suggestions about places to eat and things to do during our stay.We throughly enjoyed the tour and would do it again.

Get to see and touch urchins, squid, and small sharks. Also, a little description of the fishes in the area.

I went to Maui for the first time and participated in the Haleakalā sunset and stargazing tour. There were four of us: a group of three consisting of a mother and her two daughters, and me. It was nice to have fewer people, making it more relaxed. The moon was out, so the visibility of the stars wasn't great, but the sunset was beautiful. I was able to have a valuable experience. Next time, I would like to go during the new moon.

始めてマウイ島に行きましたので、ハレアカナのサンセット星空ツアーに参加しました。
参加していたのは、母と娘さん二人の３名のグループと私の４人でしたが、人が多いよりゆったりしていて良かったです。
月が出ていたので、星空の見えぐわいは、今一でしたが
サンセットは、よく見えました。
貴重な体験をする事が出来ました。次に行く時は、新月の時に行きたいと思いています。

I had a great time!!!! It was excellent. The crew was patient, hospitable, informative and comical! I will definitely come back if I go to Hawaii again!!

We have been to this show a couple times, but this last show has to be the best we have seen on Maui.

I was able to see sea turtles. They were very large, and I was deeply moved when I saw them.
At Molokini, I went snuba diving. It was easier and more casual than scuba diving, and I thoroughly enjoyed the clear waters. The cheeseburger for lunch was also delicious. Additionally, the Japanese staff were very attentive, and I had a great time.

　ウミガメを見ることが出来ました。とても大きく、見れた時は大変感動しました。
モロキニでは、スヌーバをしました。スキューバより簡単で気軽にでき、透明度の高い海を思い切り堪能できました。昼食のチーズバーガーもおいしかったです。また、日本人スタッフの方もとても気を配っていただいて、とても楽しかったです。

Loved it. Our instructor, James, was helpful and patient. The whole crew was friendly and made us feel welcome. We highly recommend this trip.

My first snorkeling experience at Molokini Island!! I was worried because there were mostly foreigners around, but thanks to the friendly support from a Japanese female staff member (I'm sorry, I forgot her name), I enjoyed it more than I expected. The ocean in October was a bit chilly at first, but once I got in, it was warm. Molokini Island had cave-like formations and beautifully colored fish, making it so much fun that I lost track of time. It was incredibly enjoyable. Even though it was October, the Hawaiian sun was strong, and it got hotter as the afternoon went on, so I ended up getting sunburned!! For those participating, please apply sunscreen generously. Even with sunscreen, you can still get burned (laughs).

はじめてのモロキニ島シュノーケリング！！
まわりは外人さんだらけで心配でしたが、日本人の女性スタッフのかた（ごめんなさい。名前忘れちゃいました）のきさくなフォローもあり思ってたよりも楽しめました。10月の海ははじめはひやっとしましたが、海の中に入ってしまえばあたたかったです。モロキニ島は洞窟みたいなのがあったり、きれいな色の魚がいたりと時間を忘れるほどの楽しさでした。時間を忘れるくらい楽しかったです。10月とはいえハワイの日差しは強く午後になるにかけて暑くなり日焼けもしました！！参加する方は日焼け止めこれでもかってくらいぬってくださいね。塗っても焼けます（笑）

Our guide Kaleo was really great! He led our snorkel, pointing out and educating us on all kinds of sea life. We saw turtles, an eagle ray, octopus, and lots of fish. The kayaking was fun, too!

Too much focus on being sexual. Didn't enjoy that, there are many families attending and it just seemed inappropriate to me. Not worth the money for the experience.

I think even those without horseback riding experience can enjoy it. You can fully enjoy the wonderful views of Maui. I went there with a rental car without a navigation system, but as long as you calmly look at the map, there are no problems. The two-hour English-only session was thrilling for me, as I'm not very good at English, but it was a valuable experience and I’m really glad I did it!

乗馬未経験のかたでも楽しめると思います。
マウイ島の素晴らしい眺めを満喫できます。私はナビ無しレンタカーで向かいましたが落ち着いて地図を見ていけば問題ありません。English　onlyの2時間は英語の苦手な私にとってはスリリングでしたが、貴重な体験が出来てとても良かったです！
