Overall the trip was what was expected however I feel like there should be more time allowed to snorkel. You arrive to the dock and get on the boat. They have a small muffin style breakfast available. - The drive to the spot is about an hour, you get maybe an hour to snorkel and eat, then you head back which is about an hour. I wish we would have more time to snorkel and relax. It feels very rushed, rightfully so maybe, but for the money you figured you would have a little more time to just be and relax. The lunch is nice and plentiful. The equipment is fine enough and they give you options to purchase a top half wet suit, for cash only so bring some if you want to do that. You can also rent camera's if you would like. There was someone there who took professional style pictures so that was a nice bonus. Of course they cost but not as much as I figured. - The crew knows their information and is fun with their jokes and fun on the boat. The glass bottom is only open when you stop to snorkel and between snorkeling and eating I forgot to look and when I remembered we were leaving and it was closed. You have only a small amount of space to snorkel at once you're at the crater. It's very packed full of people and other boats so it's not really a relaxed snorkel. It feels crowded and time is limited. For our first experience it was a good time but we just which we had more time. This excursion doesn't go to the turtle part either. We picked it for the glass bottom over the turtle snorkeling and we wish we wouldn't have done that.

The time spent at each location was short and felt insufficient. I thought the name "Maui Island Highlights" might not be appropriate. There wasn't enough time to stroll around the town of Makawao, and after lunch, I could only manage to hurriedly buy coffee. We disbanded at the meeting place by 2 PM. I think it would have been better to have a bit more time to look around. Just when I was feeling that the experience wasn't worth the price, the guide asked for a tip, which was even more disappointing.

マカワオの街も散策するほど時間がなく昼食後急いでコーヒーを買うのが精一杯
14時には集合場所で解散になった。
もう少しゆっくりと見て回れても良いと思う。
値段の割にイマイチだなと思っていたところでガイドさんにチップを要求されて、さらにがっかりした。

This time, I rode a helicopter for the first time with my 10-year-old son. At first, I was anxious, but the pilot provided a safety briefing with gestures, which made me feel a bit more at ease. The passengers included us, two couples from the mainland United States, and a lady who seemed to have flown multiple times, making for a full cabin of seven people. The seats were assigned in advance based on weight, and we were in the second row by the window and in the middle next to each other.

A few minutes after takeoff, we reached the area above Haleakalā and enjoyed a view of the crater from the sky. On our way to Hana, we passed a small island shaped like a dinosaur, which appeared in the scene where the protagonists first land on Isla Nublar in the movie Jurassic World. The view from the helicopter, just like in the movie, was breathtaking and moving!

We also got to see Hana, a hidden gem that takes nearly three hours to reach by car, from the air. Finally, we approached several waterfalls, which are famous spots in Hana. The weather was a bit rainy, and the helicopter shook a little, which was a bit scary. On the way back, it cleared up, and we were able to see a beautiful round rainbow, which was very moving.

I took motion sickness medication, but my son, who didn’t take any, felt a bit nauseous. They sold motion sickness medication at the reception, so it seems advisable to take it beforehand. I would definitely like to participate again if I have the chance.

今回10歳の息子と二人で初めてヘリコプターに乗りました。
初めは不安でしたがパイロットから安全に関する説明が身振り手振りで行われ、少し安心しました。
乗客は私たちを含めアメリカ本土からのカップル2組と何度も乗っているらしい一人のご婦人7人の満席状態。
シートはあらかじめ体重の関係などで指定され、私たちは二列目窓側と隣中央に。
離陸後数分でハレアカラ上空に差し掛かりクレーターを空から見物。
ハナに向かう途中、映画ジュラシックワールドで主人公達が恐竜の島イスラヌブラル島にヘリコプターで初めて上陸するシーンに登場する小さな恐竜の形をした島を通過、映画と同じヘリコプターからの眺めは迫力満点で感動しました！！
車で行くと三時間近くかかる秘境にあるハナも空から見物。
最後にハナの名所でもある数カ所の滝に迫りました。
ここは少し雨で天候が悪く不安定に揺れるヘリコプターが少し怖かったです。
帰りは晴れて途中美しいまん丸の虹も見れてとても感動しました。
私は酔い止めを飲んでいましたがやはり飲まなかった息子は少し酔ってしまったので受付にも売っていましたが酔い止めは必ず飲んでおいたほうがよさそうです。
また機会があれば是非参加したいと思います。

The weather was great, perfect for snorkeling. Kanako, the Japanese staff member, started with a thorough boarding announcement during the reception meeting and also informed us about the best seating positions on the boat, allowing us to have a comfortable experience. Throughout the boat ride, all announcements were in English, but she provided explanations in Japanese and took care of participants who felt seasick, showing exceptional attention to detail. I was able to enjoy the tour with peace of mind. Although I didn't see as many fish while snorkeling as I had hoped, I would like to join this tour again when I come back to Maui. Thank you very much.

お天気もよく絶好のシュノーケル日和でした。日本人スタッフのかなさん、受付のミーティングで、丁寧な搭乗の案内から始まり、船での座席のベストポジションも教えて頂き快適に過ごすことができました。また船中は全て英語の案内の中、日本語で説明してくれたり、途中船酔いした参加者をケアしてくれたり至れり尽くせり、とても細やかな気配りで助かりました。安心してツアーを楽しむことができました。思ったより、シュノーケルで魚は見ることが出来ませんでしたが、またマウイに来た際にはこのツアーに参加したいと思います。ありがとうございました。

I participated in a snorkeling tour to Molokini Island. I requested a pickup, but a taxi came, and the driver didn't get out, so I didn't realize it was the pickup for the group tour, which caused a few minutes of delay. Fortunately, the hotel bellman was considerate and helped me get on the ride. The tour registration was in English only, but there was a Japanese staff member on board who kindly explained everything. We arrived at Molokini Island in an hour. The weather was nice, and the sea was beautiful, but there were fewer fish than I expected, so it wasn't as exciting as I had hoped. The one-hour snorkeling felt a bit long, and we got out early. I heard from the staff that the water temperature was somewhat low, so renting a wetsuit (just the top) for $10 was a good decision. Without it, I think we would have been very cold. We had lunch while moving to the next spot, Wailea Point. The visibility here is not as good as Molokini Island, but it's a spot where you can see turtles. At the place the staff pointed out, we were able to see three turtles up close, which was quite fun. Overall, I think it was worth going, but it might be better not to expect too much in terms of swimming with cute fish. Also, the boat does rock quite a bit. Since you can't land on the island, you are either in the water or on the boat, so it's best to take motion sickness medication as early as possible.

モロキニ島シュノーケルツアーに参加しました。送迎を頼んだのですが、迎えにきたのがタクシーで、運転手さんも降りてこなかったし、まさかそれがグループツアーの迎えとは思わず、数分ロス。ホテルのベルマンが気を利かせてくれたので、無事に乗車できました。ツアーの受付は英語のみでしたが、乗船スタッフに日本の方がいらして、丁寧に説明して下さいました。1時間でモロキニ島に到着。お天気はよく、海も綺麗でしたが、思ったよりも魚が少なく、わー！という感じにはなりませんでした。1時間のシュノーケルはちょっと長く感じ、我々は早めに上がりました。スタッフの方に水温はそこそこ低いと聞いたので、10ドル出して借りたウエットスーツ(上着のみ)は正解でした。それが無ければ我々は寒くて仕方無かったと思います。昼食を食べながら移動し、次はワイレアポイント。こちらは透明度はモロキニ島に劣りますが、亀が見られるポイントで、スタッフの方が教えてくれたところで、三匹の亀を近くで見ることができました。これは結構楽しかったです。総じて行く価値はあったかと思いますが、あまり可愛い魚と泳げる！と期待し過ぎない方が良いかもしれません。また、結構船は揺れます。島には上陸できないので、海の中にいるか、船に居るかなので、酔い止め薬は出来るだけ事前に飲んだ方が良いと思います。

Our driver Judy wasn't the most pleasant of people. When we first got on the bus we sat in the handicap set behind her. My sister in law has a knee brace on so it was easier. Judy told us we couldn't sit there. We moved and a little bit into the ride she asked if anyone was prone to motion sickness. She said they could come up front. That made me mad. Then when we stopped to order our dinners a couple complained they couldn't understand her. We couldn't either. She got better speaking after that. She also told use we had 15 minutes and then disappeared for a half hour leaving us in the hot van. People start getting off so they could get air. Just not the greatest of drivers.

We've been ziplining at most of the lines on Maui. This is one of the top two. Great money for the price. Views were great. I'd go back.

Unfortunately, we couldn't go snorkeling at Molokini this year due to the strong winds, but thanks to our attentive guide (a Japanese woman named Takako), we had a wonderful time. Her kindness was not pushy, and her quick and detailed movements were a pleasure to watch! Just seeing her in action made the boat trip worthwhile.

The space on the boat, even just enjoying burgers and spending time there, felt blissful. I think we will be relying on your services again next year. Thank you very much!

今年も風が強く残念ながらモロキニへのシュノーケリングは出来ませんでしたがきめ細かいガイドさん（日本人女性のタカコさん）のおかげで
楽しい時間を満喫できました。

A chance to see some of the beauty of this location. Caution, you lose approximately 3 degrees F per 1,000 ft of altitude. You must also expect to experience wind chill as they wind is blowing.

On the morning of the day, it was unfortunate that we couldn't go to Molokini Island due to strong winds. However, at one of the two snorkeling spots, I was able to swim with sea turtles, which was very satisfying. The hamburger for lunch after the first snorkeling session was one of the best I've ever had, perhaps because I was tired after coming out of the sea. Additionally, after the second snorkeling session, there was an all-you-can-drink service for beer and Mai Tais, which was also fantastic. It became a wonderful memory of Maui. Thank you very much!

当日の朝、風が強いとのことでモロキニ島には行けなかったのが残念でした。ただ、2か所でシュノーケリングしたうちの1か所では、ウミガメと泳ぐこともでき、とても満足できるものでした。1本目のスノーケリング後のランチのハンバーガーは、疲れて海から上がった後だったからか、これまで食べたなかでも最高ランクの美味しさでした。また、2本目のスノーケリングの後には、飲み放題のビール、マイタイ等のサービスもあり、これも最高でした。とても良いマウイでの思い出になりました。どうもありがとうございました！

Our guide was informative and was really great about giving us all time to see things and ask questions. We really enjoyed our trip and would recommend to friends

During my solo trip to Maui, I participated in a snorkeling tour to Molokini Island. A taxi arranged by the tour picked me up from my condominium. When I arrived at the meeting point, a Japanese guide welcomed me. There are people working here as Japanese guides, as well as those handling tour operations and assisting Japanese guests. The guide dedicated to Japanese tourists was with us almost the entire time during the tour. On the day I participated, both guides were present, and since there were only five of us Japanese guests (two couples and myself), the guide was always nearby, providing tips on the best seating positions on the boat and the timing for meals (if we didn't go right away, we would have to wait in line and wouldn't be able to relax). However, I was lucky because this guide only works twice a week.

There were two snorkeling spots: Molokini Island and Wailea (I'm a bit fuzzy on this one...). At Molokini, we enjoyed the clarity of the water, and at Wailea, we enjoyed the fish. We even encountered sea turtles at Wailea! I got so caught up swimming with them that I drifted too far from the boat, making it difficult to return. I hope others will be careful and enjoy themselves (laughs).

Since Japanese is not spoken in Maui, having a Japanese guide was very significant and reassuring. I was filled with anxiety as it was my first solo trip and my first time in Maui, but when I shared my concerns, the guide told me to contact them if I needed anything after the tour, which made me feel very supported during my stay. I am very grateful to this guide.

The scenery, the beauty of the ocean, and the atmosphere of the staff were all wonderful, so I definitely want to participate again when I visit Maui next time.

ひとり旅でマウイを訪れた際にモロキニ島シュノーケルツアーに参加しました。
コンドミニアムまでの送迎はツアーで手配されたタクシーがピックアップしに来てくれました。
集合場所に着くと、日本語ガイドさんが迎えてくれました。
こちらには日本語ガイドとして働いている方と、ツアー運営（ツアー中の諸々の作業）と日本人対応をする方がいるそうです。
日本語ガイドとしての方は、ツアー中はほぼ日本人観光客につきっきりで対応してくれます。
私が参加した日は両名ともいらして、なおかつ日本人はご夫婦二組と私の5人しかいなかったので、ガイドさんは常に近くにいてくれて、船の席のベストポジションや食事のタイミング（すぐ行かないと並んでしまってゆっくりできないので）など色々教えてくださいました。
ただし、このガイドさんは週2回の勤務なのだそうで、ラッキーでした。
シュノーケルスポットは二箇所。モロキニ島とワイレア（ちょっとうろ覚え…）。
モロキニ島は透明度を楽しみ、ワイレアでは魚を楽しむという感じ。
そしてワイレアではウミガメにも会えました！
夢中になって一緒に泳いでいたら船から離れすぎてしまったので、戻るのが大変でした。。
そこは気をつけて楽しんでいただきたいです（笑）
マウイ島だと日本語が通じないので、日本語ガイドさんの存在はとても大きく、安心できます。
私は初めてのひとり旅、初めてのマウイ島で不安いっぱいだったのですが、それをお話しするとツアー後も何かあれば連絡して〜と仰ってくださり、とても心強く滞在することができました。
このガイドさんには感謝でいっぱいです☆

景色も海の美しさもスタッフさんの雰囲気も、全て素晴らしかったので、またマウイに行った際には是非参加したいと思っています。

Der Sonnenaufgang über dem Haleakala ist definitiv einen Ausflug wert. Wer nicht mitten in der Nacht eine unbekannte und kurvenreiche Strecke fahren will, sollte diese Tour buchen. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass alle Busse auf den Parkplatz am Visitor Center halten und es entsprechend voll dort ist. Außerdem ist eine organisierte Tour die einzige Möglichkeit den Sonnenaufgang zu sehen, wenn man keinen Parkplatz mehr über die Website des Nationalparks buchen kann... Ohne reservierten Parkplatz kein Zutritt!

Did the half day snorkel on the trilogy lll. Captain and crew were great. Saw many sea turtles. Book with trilogy and you wont be disappointed!

Really enjoyed our luau experience! The event is well organized. Our section's server was very friendly and funny, and very quick to bring rounds of drinks from the bar. Our section was one of the last to be dismissed to get food but there was still plenty of food as new trays were continually being refreshed. Location of the luau is very picturesque but bring a jacket/sweater as our night (end of April) was very windy/chilly - some people were in winter parkas!

We had a great crew on this sunset tour which really added to the fun.
The food was also super delicious. Loved everything - what a perfect way to end our evening.

Unfortunately the day we went it was raining, very cloudy and very windy at the top so no sunrise. It is the risk you take when you book the trip. The guides were good to hang around hoping for some sun to come out. The breakfast was pretty good but could have been a little better organized. Overall, an ok day but nothing you can do about the weather. The company was nice to offer pants and jackets to everyone so it kept our clothes dry and us warm at the top, a nice feature I didn't realize we were getting.

My first experience with snorkeling was thrilling, and it became an unforgettable, amazing memory!

We had a full hour at two locations: Molokini Island and a spot where we could encounter sea turtles, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful ocean with its different expressions.

The meals, including breakfast, lunch, and the final bar time, were also satisfying! The lunch burger and Maui beer were especially delicious!

Our Japanese guide, KANA, was very kind and accompanied us into the water, which made me feel secure throughout the experience.

If I ever go to Maui again, I would love to participate once more!

シュノーケリングは、モロキニ島と、ウミガメに出会えるスポットの２か所でたっぷり１時間ずつの時間があり、それぞれ違った表情の綺麗な海を堪能できました♪　

朝食、昼食、最後のバータイムの食事も充実！
特にランチのハンバーガーと、マウイビールは美味！

日本人ガイドのKANAさんがとても親切にご案内してくれて
一緒に海にも入ってくださるので、終始安心して参加出来ました。

またマウイに行くことがあったら、もう1度参加したいです!!

I participated with my wife and our two elementary school children. We visited two snorkeling spots with abundant coral and high visibility, where we saw many tropical fish and even sea turtles. The kids were very excited, and I think it became a memorable part of our trip.

The Japanese staff kindly taught us the procedures and how to use the equipment, and they also recommended spots in the water and informed us when we spotted sea turtles, allowing us to have a safe and fulfilling time.

The hamburgers we ate on the boat, along with the beer, cookies, and coffee during our return trip after snorkeling, were all fantastic and highly recommended under the refreshing blue sky of Maui!

It was unfortunate that we couldn't go to Molokini Island due to strong winds, but as mentioned, we saw plenty of fish and sea turtles, which adds to the excitement for next time.

家内と小学生の子供二人を連れて参加しました。
珊瑚が多く透明度の高いシュノーケリングポイントを２つ回ってくれて、そのどちらでも沢山の熱帯魚、そしてウミガメにも会えました。
子どもたちも大興奮で旅の想い出に出来たのではないかと振り返っています。
日本人スタッフさんが親切に手順や道具の使い方を教えてくれて、更に海の中でもオススメのスポットや海ガメ発見時に場所を教えてくれたりで、安心かつ充実した時間を過ごすことが出来ました。

船の上で食べるハンバーガーや、シュノーケリング後の帰港中のビールにクッキー＆コーヒー。爽やかなマウイの青空の下でその全てが最高でオススメです！

風が強くてモロキニ島へは船が出せなかったのは残念なのですが、上述の通り沢山お魚にもウミガメにも会えましたし、次回へのお楽しみ。ということで。

The local tour with an English guide (including myself, there were three Japanese passengers and about ten foreign passengers) was well explained, and as a one-day tour, it was good. Unfortunately, the view from the visitor center near the summit was completely obscured by fog, which was disappointing, but later at the second viewpoint, I was relieved to see the entire crater beautifully. I was moved by the majestic views, including the scenery along the way. I’m not sure if we passed through the town of Paia as scheduled (I don’t think it was a particular issue), but the towns of Makawao and Iao Valley were also nice. Initially, it was stated that drop-offs were not allowed except at the pickup hotel, but after the Iao Valley tour, we split into a shuttle bus heading to Kahului and a bus going to Lahaina, so I was able to be dropped off at my desired destination of Lahaina, which was very helpful. Thank you very much.

英語ガイドの現地ツアー（乗客のうち私を含めて３人が日本人で、残り10数名は外国人）で、私の語学力ではドライバー兼ガイドの説明がその２割程度も聞けたかどうかわかりませんが、よく説明されており、１日ツアーとして良かったです。残念ながら、頂上近くのビジター・センターからの眺めは霧で全く見えず、これで終わりかとガッカリしましたが、その後、少し下がった第２展望台ではクレーター全体がきれいに見れてホッとしました。途中の景色も含めて、雄大な眺めに感動しました。予定にあったパイアの街 を通ったかどうかは不明でした（特に問題とは思っていません）が、マカワオの街、イアオ渓谷も良かったです。
当初、迎えのホテル以外への送りは不可とされていましたが、イアオ渓谷観光後にカフルイ方面へのシャトルバスとラハイナ方面への本バス移動に分かれたため、目的のラハイナまで乗せていただき、これも助かりました。

I was recommended this show by the taxi driver I took from the airport and made a reservation. The tables are shared, and everyone chats in a friendly atmosphere.

Not only does it feature relaxed Hawaiian hula dancing, but it also showcases various Polynesian dances from Tahiti, Samoa, and more. There are several interactive performances as well (like children dancing on stage together), making it a show that families, couples, and people of all ages can enjoy together.

One thing to note is that there are many moments where English proficiency is helpful. This includes communication at shared tables and understanding explanations, such as going to the buffet to get food for your table; if you don't catch it well, you might find yourself confused.

ハワイアンのゆったりしたフラダンスのみならず、
タヒチやサモア等の様々なポリネシアンダンスを披露してくれます。
参加型の演目もいくつかあり(子ども達が舞台で一緒に踊る等)
家族連れやカップル、様々な年齢の人が一緒に楽しめるショーだと感じました。

注意点といえば、英語能力が欲しい場面が多々あります。
相席でのコミュニケーションもですが
ビュッフェで食事をテーブルごとに取りに行く等の説明が、よく聞き取れてないと「あれっ」てなるかも

I participated in this tour last year, and it was so wonderful that I invited my sister to join me again. Even though it's already mid-April, we were met with unexpected cloudy weather... Unfortunately, on the day of the tour, the heavy clouds lingered. I was worried about how it would turn out, but the underwater scenery was incredibly beautiful, enough to blow away the gray skies! I was able to swim leisurely with the sea turtles, creating great memories.

I want to thank Kana from the crew for all her help. It was really fun to hear various stories during our travels. Thank you very much!

The "fresh broccoli" that was served as a salad will definitely be something I try at home too (laughs).

Oh, be careful with the environmentally friendly sunscreen provided; it can be a bit too much. It turns you very white. Those with shaved heads ended up looking like a character from "Skikeiyo." As for me... I ended up looking like a foolish lord!

去年このツアーに参加し、忘れられないくらい素敵だったので、姉を誘って再び参加。
四月も半ば過ぎなのに、まさかの曇天続き・・・願い虚しくツアー当日もずっしりと重い雲。
どうなることかと思いましたが、海の中は抜群に綺麗で曇り空を吹き飛ばすほど美しかったです！ホヌさんとものんびり一緒に泳げて、いい思い出になりました。
クルーのカナさんには何から何までお世話になりました。いろんなお話が聞けて、移動中もとても楽しかったです。ありがとうございました。
サラダで登場した「生ブロッコリー」　我が家の食卓でもやってみますね(笑)

あ、備え付けの環境に優しいポンプの日焼け止めは、取りすぎ注意です。
めっちゃ真っ白になります。

I drove clockwise from Kapalua with a rental car. Since the roads are quite steep and narrow, it might be better to leave with plenty of time to spare. If you go the other way, the distance is longer, but the roads are easier, so I recommend that route if you're not confident in your driving.

The restroom is clean, but this is the last restroom before horseback riding. After receiving a brief explanation in English, we started riding right away.

We walked up a steep slope from the beginning, but the horses are well-trained and responsive, so it’s not scary at all. The course is varied, the scenery is amazing, and the staff were kind and communicated in broken Japanese.

The basic pace is walking, but they invite those who want to run the horses to give it a try, and there were even two opportunities to do so. I participated in horseback riding tours on other islands, but running was often prohibited there, so I really appreciated the chance to challenge myself here!

I definitely want to participate again when I come to Maui!

カパルアから時計回りでレンタカーで来ました。かなり険しく細い道を通るので、時間に余裕を持って出発した方がいいかもしれません。反対周りならば、距離は遠いですが、簡単な道なので、運転に自信がなければ、そちらをお勧めします。
トイレは綺麗ですが、ここが乗馬前、最後のトイレです。英語で簡単な説明を受けた後、すぐに乗馬開始です。
始めからかなり急坂を歩いて行きますが、馬は良く訓練されていて、言うことを聞いてくれるので、全く怖くありません。
コースは変化に富んでいて、景色も最高、スタッフも片言の日本語で親切に対応してくれました。
基本は歩きですが、馬を走らせたい希望者を募ってくれて、挑戦させてくれます。しかも二回もチャンスがありました。他の島で乗馬ツアーにも参加しましたが、走るのは禁止のところが多かったですが、ここは挑戦させてくれました‼︎
マウイに来たらまた絶対参加したいです‼︎

Beautiful drive to Haleakala! Our driver, Judy, was both pleasant and extremely informative. She is truly an attribute to the company? She made the trip to and from the crater a good one.
Sunset was awesome!! The dinner at the golf course was more than we expected!

I continued to persuade my wife, who cannot swim, to join a snorkeling whale shark tour in Cebu last year, saying, "You can float!" This year, we challenged ourselves with snuba. My wife kept saying, "I'm so nervous! My heart is racing!" even before we left the hotel in the morning.

After about an hour of being rocked by the waves while having breakfast on the catamaran, we arrived at Lanai Island. As for my wife, she kept putting her face in the water and saying, "Buhh!" and then "Pahhh!" After 10 minutes of floating, she couldn't dive. However, thanks to Todd, our snuba instructor, who encouraged her with "You can! Believe me!" she finally went underwater.

She was deeply moved by being able to breathe underwater and, when it was over, she exclaimed, "Ahh, that felt so good! Why haven't I done this before?!" just like she said after last year's whale shark tour.

After snorkeling, those who wanted to could join a short tour of the island. Then we enjoyed a barbecue before heading back to the boat. The return trip had higher waves due to the wind. The catamaran stopped its engine and began sailing. I thought about getting tipsy on beer before getting seasick, so I enjoyed a Hawaiian beer. By the way, alcohol is all-you-can-drink.

The crew's hospitality in trying to entertain the participants was wonderful. We had a great time from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. I think the cost performance is excellent.

Thank you, Captain Turtle, Crazy Cat Mario, Diving Todd, Balance Ninja Boy Brandon!! We would like to join the tour next year too, with you as the crew.

　泳ぎのできない妻を説得し続けて（昨年はセブ島で「浮いてられるから」とシュノーケリング・ジンベイザメ・ツァーに参加）、今年はスヌーバに挑戦。
　妻は朝ホテルを出る前から「緊張する! ドキドキする!!」と言い続けていました。
　カタマランで朝食を頂きながら波に揺られること1時間少々。ラナイ島到着。
　扨て、妻はと言えば、顔をつけては「ブフゥー」。顔をつけては「パフゥー」。浮くこと10分、潜れません。が、スヌーバ担当のTODDの「You can! Believe me!」洗脳(?)で漸く海中に。
　海の中で呼吸できることにいたく感動して、終わってみれば「あぁ〜気持ちよかったぁ。今まで何でやって来なかったんだろう!?」と、去年のジンベイザメ・ツァーの時と同じこと言ってました。
　シュノーケリング後、希望者は島内ショートツァーへ。
　そしてバーベキューをしこたま食べて船に。
　ここからの帰りは風の具合で波が高くなります。そして、カタマランはエンジンを止めてセイリングを開始。船酔いする前に酒酔いしてしまおうかと、ハワイビールを頂きました。因みに、アルコールは飲み放題です。
　参加者を楽しませようとするクルーの気遣いは中々のものです。
　09:00から18:00まで、たっぷりと楽しみました。CPはバッチリだと思います。

Most of the participants were foreigners, and there were only a few Japanese people, but it was reassuring to have a Japanese guide. They were very friendly, which made me feel at ease. The meals and drinks were plentiful. At the snorkeling spot, I was able to see sea turtles clearly, and I made some great memories.

日本人のガイドさんなので安心です。
とても気さくなかたで安心しました。
食事も飲み物も充実しています。
シュノーケルスポットではしっかりとウミガメをみることもできましたし、いい思い出ができました。

We headed to Mendes Ranch from Kahului by rental car. There are many curves, but I don't think it's particularly dangerous. Mendes Ranch is easy to find, but I recommend registering your destination on Google Maps.

We went during Golden Week, and apart from us, everyone else was foreign visitors. The instructions are only in English, but I think you can manage the horseback riding just by watching the gestures.

The road has a lot of ups and downs, and the horses seemed a bit difficult to walk, but they were skillfully avoiding rocks as they walked. Some horses slipped, but they seemed accustomed to it.

For experienced riders who wish to, they allow the horses to trot uphill. My previous horseback riding experiences were just walking, so this was a great experience. The scenery was also wonderful.

レンタカーでカフルイ方面からメンデスランチに向かいました。カーブがたくさんありますが、それほど危なくはないと思います。
メンデスランチはわかりやすいところにありますが、グーグルマップで目的地を登録しておくとよいと思います。

ゴールデンウィークに行きましたが、自分達の他はみんな外国の方でした。
説明も英語のみですが、身振り手振りをみているだけで乗馬には支障がないと思います。

アップダウンが激しい道で馬も少し歩きにくそうでしたが、岩なども上手に避けながら歩いていました。
脚を滑らせている馬もいましたが、それも慣れた感じでした。

経験者で希望者には、登り坂で馬に駆け足させてくれます。これまでの他の場所での乗馬は歩くだけでしたのでよい経験ができました。
景色も素晴らしかったです。

The morning pickup was delayed beyond the scheduled time, and since the van was over capacity, we were told to wait for a taxi, which made me very anxious. The taxi was arranged by the tour company, but it arrived more than 30 minutes after the meeting time. However, we made it in time for the ship's departure.

We were fortunate with the weather, so during snorkeling at Molokini Island, we could see all the way to the bottom. The second planned spot, Keawalai, was changed due to poor weather, but we were still able to see two turtles there.

After snorkeling, they provided us with beer and other alcoholic beverages. We enjoyed those while returning to the port.

Even with many clouds, you can still get sunburned while swimming, so don't forget sunscreen for your back! The water temperature isn't very high, so I think it's better to have a wetsuit or something similar.

On the way back, you'll get on the van immediately after getting off the boat, so if you want to change, it's better to do so in the boat's restroom.

朝のピックアップが予定より遅い到着だったうえにバンが定員オーバーだからタクシー待つように言われ、とても不安でした。タクシーはツアー会社が手配してくれましたがタクシーがきたのは集合時間から30分以上経ってからでした。船の出発には間に合いました。

お天気には恵まれたのでモロキニ島でのシュノーケリングでは底の方まで見ることができました。
２箇所目に予定されていたケアワライは天候がよくないということで別のポイントになりましたが、そちらでも２匹のタートルをみることができました。

シュノーケリングが終わるとビールなどのアルコールを提供してくれます。それをいただきながら港に戻りました。

雲が多くても泳いでいる間に日に焼けするので背中への日焼け止めも忘れずに！
水温はそれほど高くないのでウエットなどがあった方がいいと思います。

帰りは船から降りたらすぐにバンに乗るので着替えたい方は船のトイレで済ませた方がよいです。

You don't need to worry about Japanese at all. Our guide, Takako, took care of everyone! She is the best guide I've ever had in the world. It was a fun day of snorkeling. She accurately pointed out the spot where we could see sea turtles. Meeting Takako on Maui was the highlight. I'm looking forward to seeing her again.

日本語の心配は、全くいりません。ガイドの(たかこ)さんが全ての人に気をかけてくださいます！今までのガイドさんで世界一の方です。
楽しいスノーケリングが出来た一日でした。
ウミガメのいる場所も、ピタリと当てられました。マウイ島で(たかこ)さんに会えたのが、最高でした。また、たかこさんに会えるのを楽しみにしております。
