The 2-hour excursion with lunch was outstanding. The scenery of the entire East side of Maui, from Haleakala through Kahului to the three waterfalls of Mt. Eke was breathtaking. The opportunity for the horses to trot & gallop was a pleasant surprise that I was not expecting. The Paniolo lunch of barbecue chicken & ribs was very delicious.

Mendes staff, Rocky, Butch, and Frenchi were wonderful--so friendly and helpful! These folks made the experience even more fun and enjoyable. The views during the ride are spectacular. Plus, the guides provide interesting information at the two photo opportunity stops; the information and the photo ops are quite thoughtful. I've been on three other horserides on different islands, and this one is my favorite because of Rocky, Butch, and Frenchi, and the views. The BBQ lunch is also very tasty and much enjoyed after a beautiful ride.

I participated in a tour on October 6th, and I'm a banker with a henna tattoo on my arm.

The clarity of the water at Molokini is amazing! I signed up for the snuba as an add-on, but I couldn't go deep because I couldn't use the ear plugs. However, I recommend it because you can see different scenery compared to snorkeling. The sea turtle spot was truly filled with turtles (laughs). I lost count of how many I saw... While I was popping my head out of the water, trying to find my friend, people around me gestured, "Next to you, next to you!" When I looked over, there was a turtle that had come up for air right next to me! I hurriedly moved away, but I was so excited and moved to see it breathing and moving its eyes up close.

The staff member Takako was very helpful, accompanying me since I was anxious about swimming and taking many underwater photos with my friend. The luau show she recommended was really great!

I also encountered a pod of wild dolphins, making it an incredibly rare experience. I highly recommend this tour! ★

10月6日にツアーに参加させていただいたタトゥー（ヘナで描いたやつ）を腕に仕込んだ銀行員です。

モロキニの透明度はすごいですね！追加で申し込んだスヌーバは耳貫ができなかったので深くまで行けませんでしたが、シュノーケリングとは違った景色と出会えるのでお勧めです。
ウミガメスポットは本当にもうカメだらけ（笑）何匹見たことか・・・。私が海面から顔を出し、アップアップしながら友人を探していると周りの人が「となり、となり！」とジェスチャー。「ん？」と見ると、呼吸をするために上がってきたカメさんが真隣に居たんです！慌てて離れましたが、呼吸をするところや目を動かしているところが間近で見れて大感動・大興奮でした。
スタッフのタカコさんには泳ぎが不安な私に付き添ってくださったり、友人との海中写真をたくさん撮ってくださったりと色々お世話になりました。教えていただいたお薦めのルアウショー本当に良かったです~!

野生のイルカの群れにも出会えたし、大変大変貴重な体験をすることが出来ました。絶対お勧めのツアーですよ★

The snorkeling tour at Molokini, which I was looking forward to the most, was amazing. Waking up a bit early was tough, but it was no problem. The clarity of the water and the abundance of fish completely made me forget my sleepiness. I even got to see sea turtles, which was the best part!

一番楽しみにしていたモロキニシュノーケルツアー。ちょっと朝早いのが辛かったけど問題なし。海の透明度や魚影の濃さで眠さもすっかり飛んでいってしまいました。海亀にも出会え最高です。

My wife though this was one of the best activities we did while in Maui. Great job by the staff.

This was the smoothest ride I've ever taken in a Helo. Pilot knew the island and tried to make it as interesting as he could in the time allowed. Courteous staff. Overall, just a real good flight!.

The snorkeling experience was breath taking,literally!! I hadn't snorkeled in years and had a hard time not breathing through my nose. The team worked with me to get be back in the water and snorkel. The team was very friendly and connected with everyone in a personal level. The boat was smooth ride, which surprisingly didn't get my husband sea sick. We had a great time snorkeling Molokini crater and searching for sea turltles along the shore. We weren't able to snorkel turtle town due to the murky waters, however, snorkeling the back of Molokini crater was also a unique experience. We would definitely take this snorkeling tour again and recommend it to anyone!!!

I participated on October 14, 2009.
In the morning, the pickup was at 8:04, so it didn't feel too early, and I wasn't too sleepy, which was great!
The boat was very sturdy, the lunch was delicious, and above all, there were two Japanese instructors, which made me feel very reassured and supported!
And the clarity of the sea! It was much more amazing than I had imagined, and I couldn't believe I was in the water! The water temperature was around 25 degrees, and my child and I went in without renting wetsuits, but if you're really not good with the cold, you can rent one for about $10, so I recommend that. If you're not a strong swimmer, you can borrow a floatation device, and the guides will watch over you in the water, so it's very safe.
One disappointing thing was that we couldn't see any sea turtles. Some people in our group were able to see them, so I guess we were just unlucky... If we had seen the sea turtles, it would have definitely been a five-star experience!
I was blown away by the clarity of Molokini, and I definitely want to go diving next time!
Overall, I think this tour is perfect for making memories!

朝は8：04にピックアップでそれほど早いとかんじることもなく朝早く眠くて大変だったということもありませんでした(＾＾)
船はとてもしっかりしたものでランチもおいしかったし、なにより日本人のインストラクターの方が２人もいてとても安心しましたし心強かったです！
そして海の透明度！！これは想像していたよりずっっっとすばらしいもので水の中にいるとは思えませんでした！水温は２５度くらいで、私達親子はウェットスーツは借りずに入りましたが、寒いのがすごく苦手！という方は確か１０ドルくらいで借りることができるのでそちらをおすすめします。泳ぐのが苦手という方も体を浮かしてくれる棒を借りれるしガイドの方が海の中で見ててくれるので安心です☆
１つ残念だったのが海亀を見ることができなかったこと(＞＜)
一緒に行った人の中では見れた人もいたようなので私達は運が悪かったんだと諦めてはいますが・・・もし海亀が見れていたら珍しさも☆５つでした！
モロキニの透明度にやられてしまい、次は絶対ダイビングをしたいです！！
とにかくこのツアー思い出作りにはもってこいだと思います

I participated on October 6th as a nurse. Molokini is absolutely wonderful. That blue color is truly special. I usually can't be without my glasses due to my eyesight, but the world I saw in that ocean was completely different from my everyday life. I think it's because of the high transparency, but above all, the blue! The moment I entered the water from the boat and dipped my face in, the blue was just mesmerizing. The freshly made cheeseburger with a patty was delicious too!

I was feeling very satisfied, but then a pod of dolphins suddenly appeared, and I was not just satisfied, but extremely excited! They swam alongside the boat and showed off their spin jumps; the surprise of encountering wild dolphins is unforgettable.

The turtle spot afterward was also incredibly exciting! Even though you're not supposed to touch them, they come so close that it's thrilling, yet I found myself thinking, "Don't come so close!" many times! The staff member Takako was also very kind to us.

While chatting about some adult topics (laughs), I went to the luau that you recommended, and it was absolutely fantastic. I mean, it was just the best! There's no way you can go to Maui and not visit Molokini! I absolutely recommend it!

１０月６日に参加させていただきましたナースです。
モロキニ、素敵すぎます。あの青さはホント特別です。
私は普段からメガネの手放せない視力なんですが、あの海で見渡す世界は、完全に普段と別物です。
透明度も高いせいなんだと思いますが、なんといっても青さ！船から海に入って、ちょっと水に顔をつけたところから始まる青さはたまりません。
お昼に焼きたてのパテをはさんだチーズバーガーもおいしかったです♪
満足満足~と思ってたら、突如現れたイルカの群れに満足どころか、大興奮！！船に伴走したり、スピンジャンプを見せてくれたり、野生のイルカちゃんたちの、嬉しいサプライズは忘れられません。
その後のウミガメスポットは、また大興奮o(>▽<)o
触っちゃだめなのに、触れちゃうくらいにくるから、ものすごく嬉しいのに「そんなに近くに来ないで！」って何度思ったことか！
スタッフのtakakoさんにも、大変よくして頂きました。
ちょっと世知辛い大人の話もしつつ（笑）
教えていただいたルアウに行きましたが、最高によかったです。なんていうかもう…最高に良かったんですよ！
マウイまで行ってモロキニ行かないなんてありえません！絶対お勧めですｖ

My husband and I just went snuba diving at the Molokini Crater. This was my first time being in the ocean yet alone dive 20ft under the ocean. It was way better than snorkeling! Now I'm hooked on snuba and willing to do it again in the future! I recommend this to everyone who wants to experience a whole different world!

During this trip to Maui, we had to give up snorkeling because a certain someone brought a hammer, and instead, we decided to endure a submarine experience. However, it turned out to be more exciting than we expected.

We took a boat from Lahaina Harbor to the submarine, and after watching it surface, we boarded the submarine and descended to the ocean floor. The boat captain's wife is Japanese, and she graciously welcomed us in her limited Japanese. The Japanese narration we heard through the headsets inside the submarine was actually her voice. The sight of colorful small tropical fish swarming around the coral reefs and near the sunken ship was breathtaking. The only disappointment was that the depth of the water absorbed the red colors, making them less vibrant. After about 30 minutes of diving, we surfaced and transferred back to the boat. This time, we watched the Atlantis submarine dive before heading back to Lahaina Harbor.

I hadn't considered this before participating, but I think the timing set for Alan1 is perfect for sightseeing. This is because, being my second time, I could enjoy watching the Atlantis surface and dive from the boat, and since it was getting sunnier, the ocean floor was bright. Plus, being in the morning, the sea was calm. I was truly impressed with Alan1.

　今回のマウイ島旅行グループに何故かかなづちが迷い込んでいた為、スノーケルは諦め、潜水艦で我慢する事にしました。ところが、予想以上の面白さに大興奮でした。
　ラハイナの港からボートで潜水艦付近まで行き、浮上してくる潜水艦の様子を見た後、その潜水艦に乗り込み海底へ。ボートのキャプテンの奥様が日本人なのだそうで、かたことの日本語で精一杯もてなしてくださいました。潜水艦の中で貸してくれるヘッドセットから聞こえてくる日本語の案内は彼の奥様の声なのだそうです。海底の珊瑚礁、沈没船付近に色鮮やかな小さな熱帯魚が群れなしている光景は圧巻でした。残念な事は、水深が深すぎる為に赤い色が吸収されてしまい、赤みに欠けてしまっていることくらいでしょうか。３０分位の潜水の後、浮上し、再びボートに乗り移り、今度はボートから潜水していくアトランティスを見送った後、ボートはラハイナ港へ。
　参加する前には考えが及ばなかったのですが、Alan１で設定されている時間が観光にはベストだと思いました。何故かというと、２回目なので、ボートからアトランティスが浮上してくるところ、潜水するところ、が眺められる事と、日差しが強くなって来る時間なので海底が明るい事、午前中なので海が穏やかな事、さすがアランワンちゃんと思いました。

An absolutely incredible experience!!!

My girlfriend and I used Aqua Adventure on the 14th of August and it was great. The crew was easy to get along with and they were very helpful with the snuba part of the adventure. I would recommend them to anybody who wants more of a one on one experience they had a small group so it was a lot easier moving around on the boat. The only thing is they need to seperate the twosomes more on the tie line during the snuba dive so they don't run it to each other or get tangled. I was worried about the underwater breathing but it was very easy to do. Hope you give them a shot they are well worth it.

On August 9, 2009, I participated with my family of three. We had seen shows in Waikiki before, but this was our first time attending an outdoor luau show. Most participants were from the mainland or foreign countries, and we were the only Japanese group that day. There were about 3% of people of Asian descent, but everyone spoke English fluently, and we communicated in English with those sitting next to us. We also did our best to enjoy ourselves with our limited English. Communication is all about the mindset... I learned how to give tips to the staff by watching others. The show started as the venue was bathed in the orange glow of dusk, and I thought it was a wonderful performance, ranging from traditional hula to fire dancing. On the way back, taxis were waiting outside the venue, so we called one over to take us to our hotel. It became a great memory.

０９年８月９日に家族３人で参加しました。これまでワイキキでショーなど見てきましたが、野外で行われるルアウショーへの参加は初めてでした。参加者は本土の方や外国の方がほとんどで、この日参加した日本人は我々１組でした。東洋系の人が３％程度いますが、皆英語が流暢で、隣になった人達と英語でコミュニケートしています。私達も片言の英語でがんばり楽しみました。コミュニケーションは気持ちのもちようですから・・・。　ボーイさんへのチップの渡し方なども見様見真似で覚えました。ショーは夕暮れのオレンジに会場が色づくころ始まり、伝統的なフラからファイアーダンスまで素晴らしいショーだと思います。帰りは、タクシーが会場の外で待っているので、適当に声をかけて宿泊先のホテルまで送ってもらいました。いい思い出となりました。

We had a wonderful time with this group! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The snuba instructor was very patient and competent. We had fun with the videographer on board who made a disc for us by the end of the trip. Fantastic! Highly recommended!!

This was at the top of our list as far as the Activities we did in Maui. It was FUN, the people were sooooo Friendly and the VIEWS were AMAZING!!!!!! It is a little on the pricey side, but worth it.

Overall we had a pretty good time at the luau. The food was pretty good. Better than just decent, but not the best or anything. The hostess was great, very funny and sincere. Most of the luaus are sound pretty similar when you read the descriptions, but this also included unlimited drinks and was a little less expensive. The show itself seemed really short, because I was very intrigued by the different dances. Get there early! there was a long line, and they were sold out of the $15pp "VIP" option. i'm not really sure it's worth it anyway. you get up front seating and get in line for food first, but we had a decent view from our seats in the back and the food line went pretty quick! My mom used to dance hawaiian and tahitian, so i was familiar with costumes, props, etc and they seem pretty authentic.

My wife was having difficulty adjusting to breathing with the regulator and was on the verge of a full blown panic attack. I had actually thought she was heading back to the boat but the next thing I knew, she was swimming right beside me. The diver/guide had removed her weight belt to let her get used to breathing underwater and then put it back on. She absolutely did not give up on my wife and had her underwater in no time. It would have been real easy to just let her go back to the boat, but she just wouldn't take no for an answer and we are glad she didn't. The dive was the one of the highlights of our trip!!! Many thanks to the staff!!!

This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Maui. We had a group of five for this trip, ranging in age from 8 to 73 and everyone had a blast. It was something completely new and unique for us and the memories of my son's face and he was swimming with the turtles and fish will always be with me. It was priceless and I would highly recommend it. The staff were great and gave me complete confidence that they would take care of my son as they encouraged him with the Snuba-ing. They were very patient and explained everything with a sense of humour and made the day completely memorable for us all. Thank you!

I joined this tour based on my suggestion that horseback riding would be a great way to connect with nature, something we don't usually get to do.

My child just turned eight, which is the perfect age for horseback riding, so I hoped it would be a good experience as we headed to the ranch. It was my daughter's first time seeing a real horse, and she was quite excited. The horseback riding was relaxed and felt like a leisurely stroll, making it perfect for her, and it was really wonderful.

I'm truly glad we could have this kind of interaction with nature and animals during our trip to Maui.

普段できない自然との触れ合いには、乗馬がいいのでは？っという私の提案からこのツアーに参加させてもらいました。

子供もちょうど８歳になり、乗馬できる年齢だったので良い体験になればと思い向かった牧場。本物の馬を見るのがはじめての娘は興奮気味。
ゆったりとお散歩感覚での乗馬だったので、娘にもぴったりですごくよかったです。
こういう自然や動物との触れ合いが、マウイ島旅行の間にできて本当によかったです。

Since I'm traveling alone, I wanted to spend some relaxing time, and I found horseback riding at Mendes Ranch. The scenery of Maui Island while gently swaying on the horse is truly wonderful. This kind of leisurely horseback riding is perfect for solo travelers.

一人旅なんで、まったりとした時間を過ごしたいなって思って見つけたのが、このメンデス牧場での乗馬。
馬にまたがって、ぽっかぽっかと揺られながら見るマウイ島の景色は、また良いもんですね。
こういうゆったりとした時間を過ごせる乗馬は、一人旅にもってこいです。

I hadn't gone horseback riding since I did it a few times as a child, but since I came to beautiful nature-filled Hawaii this time, I decided to give it a try.

Riding slowly and leisurely on a horse is wonderful. It allows you to forget about everyday life, breathe in the delicious Hawaiian air, and feel the grandeur of nature. It was a valuable experience.

I think I might want to go horseback riding again when I want to enjoy some slow time.

乗馬って、子供の頃に数回いったっきり、それから全然行ってなかったんですけど、今回せっかく自然のきれいなハワイに来たんだからってことで、乗馬体験してみました。

馬にまあがってゆ~~っくりのんびりとできる散歩いいですね。日常のことを忘れて、ハワイのおいしい空気を吸って、雄大な大自然を感じる。貴重な体験をさせてもらいました。

またゆ~っくりした時間がほしいときには、乗馬をしようかなって思ってます。

This was our 2nd luau during our trip. Unfortunately, it was only mediocre. With the setting beside a Hotel, it lacked any cultural flavor. The emcee was just that. We felt like we were watching a performer. The food was lack-luster but the performers were amazing ! The mai tais barely qualified as "cocktails". Would not recommend this luau unless it's your best choice for convenience.

Trip was very fun for first time snorklers. Crew was good and food was delicious

My husband and I, had a great time in this Molokini Snorkel Cruise. The crew was super friendly, the food was super good, and overall the time we spent there was super fun.
They give you food all the time, drinks, water, a super yummy lunch.
The crew there was super friendly and helpul, and when you go snorkel is awesome where they take you... we saw sharks (from far and they were small), dolphins, turtles... was super cool... 100% recommended.

When I see the ocean, I remember. Especially in summer!!!

There is a Japanese staff member, so even first-timers can participate with peace of mind.
I'm not a strong swimmer, so I thought I might just wait on the boat, but I was amazed by the beauty and clarity of the ocean and decided to give it a try!!
They provide life jackets and long sticks to help, so as long as you're not a complete non-swimmer, you'll be fine.
On our way to the spot where the sea turtles are, we were lucky enough to encounter a pod of dolphins!! The staff were so excited by the large number of dolphins; it seems to be a rare occurrence.

Of course, we got to see the sea turtles!
Their eyes were so beautiful... they were close enough to touch, but I held back out of fear of a fine.

I want to go to Maui again this year~.

海を見ると思い出すのです。特に夏！！！
ツアー参加は昨年の９月でした。古くてすみません。
主人と２人で参加しました。
スタッフに日本人の方がいるので初めての方でも安心して
参加できます。
私は泳ぎが得意ではないので船で待っていようかな？
なんて思いましたが、あまりの海のきれいさ、透明度に驚き頑張って海へ！！
ライフジャケットもあるし、長いスティツクなども貸してくださるので、よほどのかなづちでなければ大丈夫です。
海がめのいるスポットへ移動中、ラッキーな事にイルカの群れと遭遇しました！！すごい数のイルカにスタッフの方も興奮するほどで、珍しい事のようです。

もちろん海がめに会えました！　
目がきれいで・・・触りたくなるほど近くにいたのですが、罰金が怖くて我慢しました。

今年もマウイに行きたいな~。

This was my first visit to Hana on my seventh trip to Maui. I had heard about it, but it truly is a wonderful place. The road to get there is quite challenging if you're driving a rental car, so I recommend joining a tour. Although there was no Japanese-speaking guide on the tour, I realized that some experiences are beyond words. My husband and I participated, along with a newlywed American couple, making four participants in total. I was worried about the narrow and steep road with many hairpin turns, especially since my husband is sensitive to car rides, but we enjoyed a comfortable drive in a limousine. We were told in advance to wear swimsuits, but there was no swimming. I wondered why, but later learned the reason. I won't write it here as I want it to be a surprise for those who participate. We had a delicious lunch, homemade cookies, a beautiful driver and guide, and enjoyed not only the stunning scenery but also a wonderful day.

After this, something strange happened. When I returned to Japan, I noticed something unusual in the photos I took with my digital camera. If anyone who participated in this tour has had the same experience (regarding the photos), please share your story. It might just be my imagination, so I’ll hold off on writing about it for now. Next time I go to Maui, I want to join this tour again to confirm it.

Maui is a fantastic place with many sights to see. If you have the time, I highly recommend visiting Hana. You will understand why it is said to be "the closest place to heaven." There is untouched, beautiful nature here.

マウイ7回目にして初めて訪れたハナ。
話には聞いていたけど、本当に素晴らしい所です。レンタカーで行くには、大変な道なので、ツアーの参加をお薦めします。日本語ガイドのいないツアーなので、内心、不安もあったのですが、素晴らしいものに言葉はいらないと実感しました。私は夫と二人で参加、一組のアメリカ人の新婚カップルとで4人の参加者でした。片道3時間位の細く険しい道でヘアピンカーブも多く車に弱い夫と一緒だったので心配していたのですが、乗り心地のよいリムジンで、道中心地良いドライブを満喫させていただきました。事前に水着着用と言われていたのに、海水浴はありません。ど~して？と思っていたのですが、後で、そのわけを知りました。あえて、ここに書きません。参加するときのお楽しみとしたいと思います。美味しいランチ、ホームメイドのクッキー、美人のドライバー兼ガイドさん、美しい風景だけでなく、素敵な一日を過ごさせていただきました。
このあと、不思議なことがありました。
　日本に戻ってデジカメで撮った写真に不思議なものが写っているのがわかったのです。もし、このツアーに参加されたかたで、私と同じ体験（写真のことです）をされたかたがみえたら、体験談で紹介してください。私の思い過ごしなのかもしれないので、今書くのはやめておきます。今度マウイへ行ったら、もう一度、このツアーに参加し、確認したいと思っています。
　マウイは素晴らしいところで、観光するところが沢山あります。もし、時間がゆるされるのであれば、一度ハナを訪れてください。「いちばん天国に近い地」と言われる所以がよくわかると思います。手付かずの美しい自然がここにあります。
　
　

This was my eighth trip to Hawaii, and I've been to Maui seven times. I love Maui, and I’m currently a 53-year-old lady. Since my third trip, I've enjoyed horseback riding. This time, I visited Mendes Ranch for the first time, and I think it was the best ranch I've been to so far. The difference from other ranches is, without a doubt, the amazing views. It's a shame I can't show you photos because I'm not good with computers. You don't need to worry at all if you can't speak English. The staff at the ranch are very kind and teach us how to ride in a way that we can understand, even without English. The food was also very delicious; we had barbecue beef and chicken. I had never seen Mendes Ranch mentioned in Japanese guidebooks, but it was far more wonderful than the other ranches listed in guidebooks. Since there was no shuttle service, we used a rental car to get there. I found the location a bit tricky to navigate, but if you allow enough time, I think it won't be a problem. The horses are well-trained, so there are no safety issues, and even complete beginners will be fine. You can see all the beautiful sea, mountains, and valleys of Maui. I highly recommend this activity. My husband and I participated together, and on another day, my newlywed daughter and her husband joined, and they were thrilled, saying it was a wonderful honeymoon.

8度目のハワイ旅行。その内の7回はマウイです。マウイ大好きの私、現在、53歳のオバチャンです。3度目の旅行から、乗馬を楽しんできました。今回参加したメンデス牧場は初めて訪れたのですが、今まで参加した牧場の中で、一番素晴らしいと思いました。他の牧場との相違は、なんと言っても、眺めの素晴らしさです。パソコンが苦手で写真をお見せできないのが残念です。英語が話せなくても、全く心配はいりません。牧場の人も大変親切で、英語のできない私たちにもわかるように、乗り方を教えてくださいます。また、食事も、とっても美味しく、ビーフとチキンのバーベキューでした。日本のガイドブックでは掲載されてるのを見たことのなかったメンデス牧場ですが、ガイドブックに掲載されている他の牧場とは、比較にならないくらい素晴らしかったです。送迎がないので、レンタカーを利用して行きました。少し地理的に分かりにくく感じたのですが、時間的に余裕をもって行けば、問題ないと思います。また、馬がよく調教されていますので、安全面でも問題ないし、全くの初心者であっても大丈夫です。マウイの美しい海、山、渓谷すべて見ることができます。是非、お薦めしたいアクティビティです。私は夫と二人で参加、別の日に新婚の娘夫婦が参加したのですが、娘たちは、素晴らしいハネムーンになったと喜んでいました。

The staff were very funny, attentive, and just friendly. They made sure everyone is having a good time for the entire trip. From the start to the end, they were constantly working hard! They were serving foods for everyone, fitting snorkel gears, giving instructions, and just talking to the guests.

We were very fortunate to have 100ft+ visibility at the Molokini, so we were able to explore the rim part of the spot. We saw a lot of fish. We loved the Turtle Town where we spotted at least 5 sea turtles.

Great time. Great food. Great crew. Highly recommended!

My husband and I were amazed at the professionalism. We were picked up promptly at our hotel, taken to the airport, where we were met by another member of your staff, got our boarding passes, and were on our way. Our tour guide Ed, in Oahu was delightful--funny, informative, and knowledgeable. When our plane landed back in Maui, a driver was waiting to return us to the Hyatt. Great trip, great time!
