We Took This Snorkeling Trip Over The Molokini Crater Because We Wanted Something Different And Less Crowded. Well This Trip Was Right On The Nose. Our Guide Peter Was AWESOME. He Was Very People Friendly And Knowledgable About The Things He Showed Us And Talked About, It Was Nice To Not Be Sitting On An Over Crowded Boat But Instead In A Kayak With A Group Of 7 Other People. 4 Kayaks Total. We Went To 2 Different Snorkel Sites And Were Out On The Water For A Total Of About 3 Hours Or So.We Saw MANY Turtles And Lots Of Different Fish, Peter Even Showed Us An Octopus And Let Us Hold And Touch It. My Husband And I Really Enjoyed Ourselves On This Trip And Would Totally Recommend It To Anyone Thats Wanting Something Less Crowded. Sorry I Dont Have Any Photos, Were Still Here In Hawaii!

Haleakalā Volcano is a mountain that rises over 3,000 meters, with its summit above the clouds. The sunset viewed from there is a breathtaking sight as it sinks beyond the clouds, leaving a lasting impression.
Additionally, listening to the guide Yamapee's stories while gazing at the starry sky was heartwarming and intriguing, making me feel incredibly positive.
The tour was very satisfying, as we were shown the moon and star clusters through a telescope, heard stories about constellations, and enjoyed everything from the sunset to the starry sky.

First of all, I have a complaint. I was hoping for staff who could speak Japanese, and since I hadn't received any communication, I went out feeling at ease, only to find that all the guests and staff were foreigners. The staff welcomed us with smiles and assured us everything was fine, but I couldn't understand anything from the lengthy greetings to the explanations. However, the staff were considerate and made an effort to engage with us, so I didn't feel uncomfortable. In the end, my husband and I decided to just enjoy ourselves with our dialect, and it turned out well.
As for the tour content, I was very satisfied. Time flew by quickly.

I participated in a sunset tour. Everything was in English, which might be tough for those who don't understand it at all. Personally, I dislike tours that are only for Japanese people, so I found it interesting. Also, since it's quite an expensive tour, there weren't many young people who looked like students (Maui itself is a luxury resort, so there weren't many young people like that).
The food and service were very attentive, and I think the cost performance is quite good. Cinnamon rolls, burritos, and fruits were served on the boat, along with a BBQ dinner, and on the way back, alcohol and ice cream desserts were provided. Of course, drinks were included as well. I think it was quite generous.
The staff answered various questions, and their explanations about the island and the boat were interesting. However, if you're a beginner at snorkeling, the sunset tour might be a bit challenging. Since the winds are strong in the afternoon in Maui, I recommend the morning tours over the sunset ones. It seems that morning is the best time for snorkeling in Maui. Therefore, I hardly saw any fish on this tour... Additionally, when we landed on the island, there were options for exploring the island by car or snorkeling at the beach, which was nice because we could do what we wanted.
I didn't feel seasick at all. People from other tour companies also said that Trilogy's tour is the least likely to make you seasick and that the service is good.

I have climbed Haleakalā twice during the day, but experiencing it from sunset to night for the first time created wonderful memories.
First of all, since it's a high-altitude mountain, some people may feel unwell if they ascend too quickly, so we gradually climbed with appropriate breaks. The selected rest stops were great, including a light snack at Krispy Kreme and a visit to a town where artists gather, reminiscent of the hippie movement. The shops felt natural and were not the typical forced tourist traps, making the drive before the main event enjoyable.
The sunset at the summit was stunning, with the clarity of the air enhancing the colors in a way that exceeded my expectations, changing beautifully over time and keeping my eyes glued to the view. (For those taking photos, a DSLR with exposure correction might be ideal.) The starry sky was breathtaking, especially since it was a night with a dim moon, creating an overwhelming sense of presence that felt almost tangible. At night, they set up chairs in the empty parking lot, allowing us to comfortably observe while they provided warm coats and blankets for those who needed them. The explanations with a laser pointer were clear and engaging, making it feel like we were in a planetarium. Children were fascinated to see constellations and the Summer Triangle up close, which they had only seen in books.
Our tour guide, Mr. Yamauchi, received high praise from many others as well, and he truly lived up to expectations, entertaining us with natural conversation from departure to return without being pushy. The only minor issue was that getting in and out of the last seat in the van was a bit challenging due to the number of participants during summer vacation (though my size contributed to that), but overall, it was a very satisfying tour.

The show consisted of a variety of Polynesian dancing, including fire-dancing. All the dancers were very talented and put on a high-energy show. The layout at the Royal Lahaina provides a perfect view of the sunset over the ocean which is incorporated into the show.

I haven't ever SCUBA'd and this is as close as one could get with little to no experience snorkeling or diving. The staff was top notch in their customer service. There are some other tours out there for a bit less money but they have so many people on their tour. Aqua Adventures was amazing in that the smaller tour (mine was about 20 some people) allowed for a more personal experience. I would do it again. I had plenty of time at two locations to SNUBA and snorkel. The fresh sandwiches and not too sweet mai thais (sp?) were great. Thanks AA for the awesome time!

This was my first stay on Maui for our honeymoon, and it was also my first time at Haleakalā Volcano. There were other tours available, but I found this one online and chose it. In the end, it was truly great.
What was wonderful was not only the content of the tour but, above all, the guide was amazing. Unlike other tours, we stopped for a restroom break on the way to the volcano, but it wasn't just a restroom stop; we got to visit a town, do some shopping, and the guide introduced us to souvenirs, making even the restroom break enjoyable.
Additionally, the guide took a lot of photos for us and offered warm tea... And the most memorable part was the presentation during the star-gazing and the guide's storytelling. It felt like, as we were starting our new life together, I learned a lot from that story, and it motivated me to strive for a fulfilling life.
I will never forget that starry sky and what I felt at that moment. Thank you for the wonderful experience. I would love to join again with my parents next time.

My wife is a sweet tooth and she could not stop raving about the cinnamon rolls! And I was partial to the lunch. I don't know if it was because we had been out swimming and snorkeling around, but everything tasted just so good, and I ate enough for four of me it seemed! ha.

My family and I attended on Saturday, 7/16/11. I have been to quite a few magic shows, being an amature magician. I know what to expect, and what to look for. There are many magicians, and Jody is certainly one of the world's best, but where he and his family stand out is in the presentation, and the smoothness of their craft. I think with the dinner, the table magic performed by his understudies, the Hawaiian dancing between sets, and the atmosphere of the club, there is not a better value for entertainment on the island. Along with a great magic show is the comedy woven in with his presentations. The audience was laughing the entire time. I would go again without hesitation.

But the kids loved it...and it was really a short trip...done before they even had a chance to get grouchy or fidgety too much.
Added to the relatively short duration, were the views from the water that always gave us all something pretty to look at from all sides. A hassle free way to get between islands.

There were so many turtles at the "cleaning stations" for the second dive site. They were popping up to breathe near the boat before we even got in the water! We got underwater cameras on the boat as well. The diver guiding us through the snuba snapped some closeup pictures of the turtles for us! Such a great experience!
The crew was fantastic. It was a smaller boat, so it wasn't like a cattle call getting on and off the boat. The captain even went out of his way on the way back so that we could see some whales! We got to see 6 whales total on the trip! Great experience! Great crews! I couldn't recommend this particular tour enough. Tremendous value for the money and a crew that was so much fun!
