The boat was decent, the ride itself was lovely and very sunny. We did see whales despite it being the end of the season. However, our guide was not very knowledgeable when it came to the actual whales. Wikipedia could have done a better job informing us. Lots of "um, and stuff" and had no answers to people's questions. Maybe a brush up on information and some note cards would help?

We had a great afternoon snorkel to Coral Gardens. The crew was friendly and the fish were a plenty. Swam with a couple turtles as well. Our 1 year old enjoyed the whole trip as well, especially the glass bottom viewing (although that aspect was not as impressive as it appeared online). Would go on another Four Winds snorkel cruise in a heartbeat!

We participated in an early morning tour. Since we don't understand English, we were hoping for a tour with a Japanese guide, but we were told, "It's the next tour." I wish we had known when the Japanese guide would board.

For now, we boarded the ship. We were the only Japanese people on it.

A crew member was explaining something about whales, but we couldn't understand at all. However, we did understand when she said, "Wow! Splash!" when the whale spouted water. It was amazing to see the tail and pectoral fins flapping up close.

When we went, it was the best season, and we were able to see whales probably within 15 meters of the boat. I think we could have enjoyed it even more if we understood English.

早朝のツアーに参加。英語がわからない私たちは、日本語ガイドさんがいるツアーだ、と期待指定して行ったけど、「次のツアーです」と言われました。いつ日本語ガイドが乗船するのかわかるようになっていればよかったなぁ。と。

クルーのお姉さんが何やらクジラの事を説明してくれているのだけどさっぱりわからない。。
くじらが潮を吹く時に「うぁ〜おぉ！スプラ〜シュッ！！」と言うのはわかりました。尾びれや胸びれをばたつかせるのが間近で観れて感動☆
行った時は最高のシーズンで船のたぶん15m近くでクジラを観る事が出来ました。
英語がわかればもっと楽しめたと思います。

The departure is at 7:30 AM, and the fare is cheaper than the morning departures. The meeting time is 7:00 AM, but quite a few people are already at Lahaina Harbor, so it's better to arrive before 7:00 AM to park in the harbor's three-hour free parking. You will need to present the printed voucher at the booth, write your name, and sign a document acknowledging the risks associated with cruising to receive your boat ticket. Boats to Molokai Island and snorkeling tours also depart from the same location in sequence. The boat won't arrive until the previous one departs, so be sure to look around carefully to avoid getting on the wrong one. There is no Japanese guide for the early morning departure, but a naturalist will explain the whales' ecology in English. In early March, the peak whale season is slightly past, but we were able to see a whale approximately every ten minutes during the two-hour cruise. We could only see the dorsal fins and tails from a distance, so it might be a good idea to bring binoculars. The weather was cloudy. I had taken motion sickness medication in advance. The waves were calm, so it was fine. Bringing food and drinks is allowed, but snacks were also sold on the boat. A bottle of juice was about two dollars. The cruising experience was refreshing, but since we didn't see the whales' dynamic movements up close, my 12-year-old son (and some young Americans on board) found it a bit boring.

I was satisfied to see many whales!
Since it was an English guide, there were many explanations I didn't understand, but it was great to see the whales up close.
I didn't see any big jumps, but I was able to see them splashing their tails and jumping a little.
I definitely want to participate again during whale season.

I stayed in Lahaina and participated in the early morning plan. Although there were no whales out in the early morning, around 9 o'clock, about 15 whales appeared near the boat. I was able to see them spouting and dancing up close, and I successfully captured it on video, which made me very satisfied.

Had a rainy start to the morning, but it ended up a beautiful day. Started with a trip out from shore to try and see some whales. Sadly we didn't see any, but we were able to hear them calling under us, which was amazing! Snorkeling was great, rusty was able to point out to us some of the reef life that often gets missed and was great about getting us into the water. Great time!

Not the best snorkeling ever, but tour was fun

Molokini is not as stunning a snorkel spot as some say: there's only a select variety of fish and there's no impressive coral reef. The water is very clear though. But there are definitely much better snorkeling options elsewhere to be found.
We had a muddy water day for Turtle Town sadly, but I got to see a turtle nonetheless, which was nice.
The tour organisation was class though, well-spirited. Breakfast was decent, lunch was very good. And there were a lot of whales to be seen! I must say that even with Molokini not completely living up to its reputation I had a good fun day. Time well-spent.

My experience at the Atlantis submarine was splendid. Unbelievable experience that I would definitely repeat again amd again. Till this moment I think the trip was a dream to me. I think it was a dream, it wasn't real J.
unfortunately, Saudi Arabia is far far away from Maui and repeating the fantastic experience is somehow not easy. I strongly recommend people of all ages, all backgrounds to try the submarine. I posted all photos on my instagram and followes are so surprized that they think it was unreal !!!

When it comes to this season on Maui, it's all about whale watching. This time, I participated in an early morning plan that gathered at Lahaina Harbor at 7:00 AM. Since the tour was guided only in English, all the other passengers were foreigners except for us.

Although I couldn't fully catch what the guide was explaining due to my limited listening skills, the sunrise view from the boat was incredibly beautiful. We were able to see whales jumping here and there, and I had a refreshing and fulfilling time.

Waking up early is worth it. This early morning plan is also reasonably priced, so I personally highly recommend it! I definitely want to join this tour again when I visit Maui.

*When I arrived right on time at the Lahaina Cruise Company booth, there was already a large crowd. It's an easy place to find without any confusion.
*On the cruise ship, coffee and light snacks are also available for sale, so you can feel at ease even if you're hungry.

The waters around Maui were calm because they are surrounded by islands. There were whales everywhere, and I was wondering which one to see up close. The schedule was perfectly on time. The course we chose departed at noon, but since we had to spend a lot of time outside the boat while watching the whales, the sunlight was quite strong, so I recommend a course that finishes in the morning. It seems that more whales will be coming in mid-February. Our Japanese guide, Taka, was very kind and taught us many things. Thank you very much.

As soon as we set sail, we encountered several whales near the city, and we ventured quite far, making for a fulfilling two hours. Thanks to choosing the early morning plan, not only was the price affordable, but we also enjoyed a beautiful sunrise, and the boat was not crowded, allowing us to move around to see the whales in different directions. Additionally, we were able to easily park at the Public Parking near the dock.

The sunrise tour on Maui was great, but honestly, there wasn't much else to do, and since there were no Japanese people around and my English isn't very good, I thought I probably wouldn't come back. I joined this tour on a whim the day before... I even booked it in the evening local time and printed out the voucher at the hotel. However, I was able to have various conversations with the guide, who was very considerate, and most importantly, I got to see sea turtles and many fish right in front of me, and I spotted whales multiple times during the trip... It was moving. And the lunch was delicious too.

マウイ島はサンライズツアーして良かったけどそれ以外に何もないし日本人が全く居なくて英語が得意じゃないからもぅ、来ることも無いかなぁ〜って正直思っていたし、このツアーに参加したのもダメ元で前日に…しかも現地時間夕方に申し込みホテルでバウチャーのプリントアウトした程でした……が、ガイドさんとは色んな話ができたし細やかな配慮して頂いたし何よりも海亀や沢山の魚が凄い目の前で見れて移動中に何度も何度も鯨が見れました……感動的です。そしてランチも美味しかった

At the time, I didn't know that the whale watching season runs from December to May, so I was really worried whether we would actually see any since it had just turned December. As expected, no whales appeared no matter how long we waited. The guide also mentioned that we might not see any, but in the end, a mother and baby whale showed up. Ultimately, it turned out to be a satisfying tour.

We participated as a couple on November 20, 2014. There were only one other Japanese couple besides us, but the Japanese staff member Takako was very attentive. She provided careful assistance with everything from the boarding process, snorkeling gear rental, diving into the sea, to the meals. The water clarity was amazing, and you could easily see the seabed. There weren't many fish, but I think it was sufficient for those who haven't experienced scuba diving. We were also able to see sea turtles. At Black Rock, we could only see "floating" turtles, but here we saw "swimming" turtles. The meal was delicious hamburgers, and beer and Mai Tais were all-you-can-drink. On the way back, we also enjoyed some cookies. It was a wonderful tour, so I highly recommend it to those who haven't experienced it yet.

For those participating in the tour, I think it's important to keep the following points in mind. It's better to have motion sickness medication. Both my spouse and I got seasick... I underestimated it because there weren't many mentions of seasickness in other reviews. Next, it's better to bring or rent a wetsuit. Honestly, the sea is cold. Having a wetsuit makes it much warmer. You can borrow goggles and fins when you receive them (I think it was $10), so it's okay if you don't bring your own. Also, I think there are some jellyfish (we both got stung), so it could serve as protection.

Regarding transportation, it was fine. I felt that many other tours had local meet-ups, but this tour provided proper pick-up (we stayed at the Westin). The other participants were a couple from America and France.

Finally, my experience: the foreign participants were very kind, and I had a lot of fun with them, for which I am very grateful. They helped me with translation when boarding (from difficult long English sentences to short broken English). They also took care of me when I got seasick... I don't think you can have such experiences on a tour with only Japanese participants. If you're coming to Maui, I think such experiences are great.

船の乗船手続き、シュノーケルセットの貸し出し、海へのダイブ、食事まで、全てに丁寧な対応をしてくれました。
海の透明度は素晴らしく、楽勝で海底が見えます。
魚はそれほど多くはいませんでしたが、スキューバ体験していない方にとっては十分だと思います。
ウミガメも見ることができました。
ブラックロックでは「浮いている」亀しか見ることができませんでしたが、ここでは「泳いでいる」亀を見ることができました。
食事もおいしいハンバーガーで、ビールとマイタイは飲み放題でした。
帰り道ではクッキーのつまみも頂きました。
素晴らしいツアーですので、未体験の方にはぜひおすすめです。

これからツアーに参加する方は以下の点に注意した方がいいと思います。
酔い止めの薬はあった方が良いと思います。夫婦で船酔いになりました・・・。
他の方の書き込みであまり船酔いについて書いてなかったのでナメでました。
次に、ウエットスーツは持参かレンタルした方が良いです。
正直、海が冷たいです。ウエットスーツがあるとかなり暖かくなるので。
ゴーグル、フィンを支給されるときに一緒に借りれるので（10ドルだったかな）持参していなくても大丈夫です。
またクラゲが多少いると思いますので（夫婦で刺されました）防護服代わりにもなるかと思います。
送迎についてですが、大丈夫です。
他のツアーでは現地集合が多いように感じましたが、こちらのツアーはきっちり送迎してもらえました（宿泊はウエスティン）。
なお同乗した方はアメリカ、フランスの夫妻でした。

最後に体験談です。同乗した外国の方々が大変優しく、ご一緒してとても楽しく、感謝感激でした。
乗船の際に通訳してもらいました（難しい長文英語から短い片言英語に）。
船酔いした時に介抱してもらいました・・・。
日本人ばかりのツアーではこういった体験はできないと思います。
せっかくマウイに来たのであればこういった体験も良いのではないでしょうか。

The tour is mainly in English with many non-Japanese participants, but staff member Takako provides explanations in Japanese, which is reassuring. Breakfast is light with cakes, sweet bread, and fruits, but there are plenty of drinks available, and lunch seemed delicious (I couldn't eat due to seasickness!). You can choose one item from several options like hamburgers and hot dogs. Drinks like cola and beer are plentiful. There are separate restrooms for men and women. There are also three types of floatation devices, which is comforting. The boat is fairly large, but three Japanese participants turned green from seasickness, so it might be a good idea to take medication beforehand. Overall, it was very good, but one downside was that the docking location was at the far end on the left side of the harbor, and there was no explanation, so I had to search around. During busy times, the parking lot is at the aquarium above the harbor. In December, the weather seems to be bad, and we couldn't go to Molokini due to strong winds, so we went to a different spot, but everyone seemed to have a good time.

日本人以外が多く、英語が主のツアーですが、スタッフのタカコさんが日本語で丁寧に説明してくれるので安心です。朝食はケーキや甘いパンとフルーツで軽くですが、飲物は十分出してくれますし、ランチは美味しかったようです。（私は船酔いで食べられず！）
ハンバーガー、ホットドック等、数種類から１つ選びます。飲物はコーラ、ビール等十分にもらえます。トイレは男女別に１つづつあり。浮具も３種類あり、安心です。まずまず大きい舟ですが、日本人は３人船酔いで青い顔になりましたので、薬飲んで行ったほうがいいかも。とても良かったのですが、１つ難点としては、舟の停泊場所がハーバーの左手一番奥で、説明がなかったので探し回りました。混み合う時は駐車場はハーバーの上にある水族館のところを使います。１２月は天気が悪いようで、モロキニは強風で行けず、別のポイントとなりましたが、みなさん楽しそうでした。

We were blessed with good weather, and it was a fun tour that we could participate in with peace of mind. I was surprised by the phone call the day before regarding the change in tour time (all in English), but I managed to understand and get through it. On the day of the tour, it was great that a Japanese staff member was on board to provide detailed advice.
