Maui
Our family of eight, included two 18 month olds. This trip was so accommodating. The entire crew seemed to love their jobs and were very helpful. The snorkel equipment fit perfect with no fogging up. They even had some little rafts that had a window into the ocean that was perfect for kids, including the toddlers. One of our kiddos was still not comfortable on the raft so he was able to view the fishies from the glass bottom. Breakfast and lunch hit the spot.
The on board photographer did a great job capturing our group even though we seemed to all go in different directions. And the cost of our album was very reasonable. It was nice to just focus on the snorkeling and not worry about the camera.
Although we didn’t need it, the crew also offered a short class on snorkeling for beginners.
It was the best day of our vacation.
Thank you for joining us Krier family! We are thrilled to hear you had a great trip with us. We would love to see you all again!
Aloha,
Nikki
Saw tons of gorgeous fish in the colorful Maui waters
Let me start by saying I was a little nervous about booking this dinner cruise because I didn't know if the price would be worth it. I also saw in the fine print when booking that you were only allowed 3 alcoholic beverages the entire trip, which confused me since it says open bar.
I have never been on a dinner cruise and this was my boyfriends' first trip to Hawaii so I wanted everything to be perfect! We were picked up from the hotel and I immediately asked about the drink limit. He said there wasn't one so that was a relief! It was even nicer knowing that we were getting dropped back off at the hotel so we could drink as much as we wanted. We shared the bus with another couple and had some nice conversations.
We got to the boat and it was raining a little bit but it stopped almost as soon as we left the harbor. We did some sailing since the weather was nice and we watched a beautiful sunset. The food was served buffet style so you could go back as many times as you wanted and it was all delicious. The crab cakes and ahi sashimi were my absolute favorites and my boyfriend really enjoyed the tri tip and ahi as well. The dessert was excellent and even accompanied by Bailey's and an amazing raspberry dessert wine that I wish I knew the name of so I could buy some back home.
There was a photographer on board and she really tried to get pictures of everyone that wanted pictures. She posed us and we were able to get some beautiful pictures in front of the sunset. She was very nice and so was the entire crew. They were attentive, fun, joking, and all around seemed like wonderful people. The bathrooms were clean which is always nice, especially when you're on a boat.
We had an amazing night and really loved the fact that it was a small intimate setting. We've already discussed it and will be booking this sail again on our next trip to Maui.
YOU WON'T REGRET BOOKING!!!!!!!
Perfect time to go snorkeling with my partner.
We had a blast that day. I recommend this activity, a lot of information.
Very helpful crew and captain, made the experience awesome!! Molokini crater and turtle garden are amazing places to go snorkeling
Breakfast and lunch tasted good as well which is a bonus!
The staff were so awesome, helping us with everything
We were the only Japanese participants on the English tour, but the staff were friendly, which eased our worries and allowed us to enjoy the experience. I was also concerned about seasickness, but the boat didn't sway as much as I had anticipated. The food was delicious. It would have been even better if the meeting and disbanding locations were closer to the Kaanapali area, as having transportation included would have been ideal.
We were totally impressed with the crew. We chose to be picked up at our resort which was much better than trying to drive to dock and find a parking place and then drink during cruise and drive home.
Alii Nui was a great craft, smooth sailing and comfortable.
Choices of tastes and drinks were fine. Foods for the "Feast" were outstanding, including roast beef sliced as you requested, crab cakes, pork ribs, and more.
Sunset was outlined by clouds and then the moon came up. WOW.
Bruce and Kendra were amazing guides! We loved our Lana’i tour, we are so glad we did it. It was great learning about the history and seeing more of the island than just the city and beach. We’d highly recommend this tour and we have told everyone we have encountered about it!
The crew on the Trilogy IV were unbelievably accommodating and welcome. The service on the ship and on the beach was unparalleled. Every part of the trip was an absolute blast from the snorkeling, the beach, and a last minute swim party to top off the ride. The Captain truely knows how to host a party; just when you thought the service couldn’t get any better, he would come by and clean your sunglasses.
If you’re debating between a trip to Molokini Crater or this trip to Lana’i, trust me; these guys put every other excursion to shame.
It was a great day boat trip to Lanai, and we saw dolphins. We enjoyed the snorkeling and swimming. The crew was professional and fun, and we were taken care of. In addition, the lunch was delicious, and they made sure had enough to eat. This is a trip that we will do again, and we highly recommend it for all.
The crew was very nice and helpful and kept our glasses full. Food was excellent as well. Weather was great, although not much wind to put the sails out. Recommended A++
The tour is probably the best way to see Lana’i. Our tour guide was very personable; he provided snacks and water, and even had a packet of pictures of the sites we saw and then some that we could take home with us. He went above and beyond. I was surprised how many people take the ferry to Lana’i for the day but have no plan for what they are going to do once they get there. We gave a few of them a ride to the only town on the island, which cost us a little bit of time. Highly recommend taking the tour vs. renting a keep and doing it yourself, since many of the roads that contain key sites are not paved.
Overall the onboarding was smooth, there were clear instructions sent over email, there were enough (paid but cheap) parking spots at harbor. The boat was quipped and left on time. We all were free to roam on boat + take pick where needed as long as 3 point of contacts were maintained all the times.
They have plenty of noodles, snorkel mask cleaning gel. If you want life vests, carry yours. They even had prescription mask(mine was -5) and it made overall experience much better. The day we did tour, there weren't many variety of fishes, may be because it was cloudy. Food was good and served in buffet style.
After spending ~1hr at Molokini, the boat went to Turtle Town, where there were fishes and beautiful reef. They even let us jump from boat :)
Once you get past all the sign in and sign up stuff it was a breeze, the crew was pleasant and organized the boat was very clean. Totally doing it again!!!
Good food, beautiful views, great staff, smooth sailing!
Great experience with a nice boat host. The food was good and drinks okay.
Great experience! Highly recommend!
The crew was very professional, they checked to see if you needed anything regularly. The food was great as well.
My family had a great time snorkeling. The staff was very supportive, friendly and helpful. Service was all quick, on time. I definitely will book with you guys again.
Mahalo for joining us!
Totally loved the whole experience, from the friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff, the wonderful amenities, great food and drinks, to the beautiful place. Loved all the information that was given throughout the trip. We all felt safe and had the best time. All the crew members were very attentive to the guests. I was a little worried about feeling sea sick, but the sail was great. They even offered motion sickness over the counter medication and natural options if needed. 10/10 recommended. Trilogy is the best!
This cruise is truly a 5-star event! Not crowded like many other dinner cruises, the embeance, the crew, the vessel, the food was top notch!
We loved the cruise so much that we booked another dinner excursion at the end of our stay at Maui!
Mahalo, Alii Nui and crew!
Well worth the cost. Crew was fun and attentive. Swells were a bit high but passengers were under the watchful care of the crew. Raquel was the best. Will recommend to friends and family.
We arrived early and were greeted by staff. Once we set sail, the waitress did an outstanding job at making sure we didn’t need anything. The food was delicious. I will definitely be back and will attend another dinner cruise.
This is the first time I went to Lanai even though I have been to Maui many times and very happy I took the Ferry. They were very punctual, organized and seats for everyone. I liked it so much more than going on the very crowded snorkeling boats. Definitely worth taking.
The shuttle from Lahaina Harbor to Lanai and back was a seamless, wonderful experience. All of the directions/instructions were easy to follow and extremely helpful. We had a large party, but didn't experience any problems. I highly recommend using this service as well as making the trip from Maui to Lanai.
Saw some local fish, the state fish and a turtle! Would go agian
Reservations and boarding was easy, the round trip ride was timely and smooth. I would do it again. The crew was outstanding.
Tour guide Joshua was amazing and would recommend this activity with him.
We had an awesome experience. The crew was totally professional and helpful in every way. Couldn't have been more pleased. Thanks
Thank you for joining us on the Four Winds II! We are thrilled to hear you had a great time.

Nikki
