Maui
Great staff. Good grub! Great vibe! Beautiful views smooth boat ride.
Mahalo for the review! We are thrilled to hear you had a great time on board with us.
Aloha,
Nikki
We were in capable hands with Joshua, our born-on-Lanai travel guide. His enthusiasm and pride in sharing with us his homeland on this historically fascinating island was infectious as it was a pleasure.
We were picked up promptly at the ferry dock and whisked away upcountry into the hart of the island. The small town of Lanai City was a historical treat as Joshua pointed out many informative funfacts and things only personal knowledge can regale and recount.
We had a terrific time and will likely do it again when we visit. We highly recommend this tour for a close personal look at one of the jewels of the island state.
Great ride. Easy and convenient. Wish I could park a car as well as the captain maneuvered the boat!! The reservation said I could show tickets on my phone but they insist you go to the ticket booth and get the paper tickets. No big deal but we wasted time in line so wish we had known. If you want to sit outside on upper deck, get there much earlier than they recommend to be in line early enough on a full boat ride.
The crew is exceptional! You might be turned off initially that the crew is also performing but don’t be. They’re so good and very much a steward of the culture. They’re extremely talented, entertaining and my wife and I loved every minute of it! The food was good, the atmosphere was obviously amazing (it’s Maui). The captain is a super chill guy, he does a brief education of the islands that was super interesting and informative. I can’t say enough good things about this dinner cruise. To top is off the crew involved some of the guests in the show and everyone was just having a great time.
I highly recommend this activity, you won’t regret it!
We turned around and headed back because no transportation available and everything around the dock is closed or hotel guests only.
Very, very enjoyable time! Spectacular views, beautiful boat, spectacular crew.
The experience was very good, but we had rough waters coming back from Lana'i.
Boat ride was as promised and on time in both directions!
This is by far the best snorkeling trip I have ever been on and I have been on many!!!The staff was caring and worked so hard on helping everyone!!! The food was excellent and fresh and plentiful all day like lots of food!! I cannot praise the captain and the crew enough they were all very hard working awesome individuals!!! If you ever plan to go snorkeling do not waste your time picking any other boat besides this one there is no better boat or crew!!!
Aloha Michael!
Mahalo for coming out with us! We hope so see you onboard again in the future.
Mahalo,
Shannan

I booked this tour for myself, my husband, and my six year old son. It was well worth it. Captain Travis and his crew were consistently attentive, well organized, and kind. The snorkeling spot was fantastic as well. The food was GREAT as I was expecting just a wonder bread ham sandwich, a bag of chips, and a can of soda. Highly recommend - esp. just based on the crew alone and nothing else.
A great way to enjoy an amazing sunset in Maui celebrating a Mother/Daughter trip and my 60th birthday. Tasty 3 course meal with 3 cocktails included. The Captain and Crew were pleasant and accommodating. The Captain dropped nuggets of information about the island as we cruised. The waves were pretty rocky but was no big deal for us. The only thing I took issue with was the salad greens were wilted, other than that everything was great!
Molokini Island had calm waves and high visibility, and I thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling. Perhaps I had high expectations, as there were fewer types of fish than I had anticipated. When we moved to the second spot, I encountered a large turtle. The Japanese staff were always watching over us, so I felt safe while snorkeling. The meals provided for breakfast and lunch were delicious.
We had a pleasant ride to Lana’i. The ferry had an indoor seating area with AC as well as an outdoor seating area. Make sure to get there 30min before departure time.
The captain and his crew were outstanding and made the experience amazing. They were professional, attentive, informative and fun! The snorkeling and snuba spots were so worthwhile.
The only bad part was the boat ride to the 2nd location, but it was because of the wind and the amount of water that sprayed up. The crew warned us about it and offered other places for everyone to sit.
We absolutely loved our sunset sail! We were on our honeymoon and it was the perfect activity! From the appetizers and drinks to seeing the most beautiful rainbow to having a live musical artist on board, it was truly the best experience.
Our guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. Problem is with the booking agency. We booked a half day tour that turned out to be a on day that the coast guard had required maneuvers that cancelled the mid afternoon ferry from lanai to Maui. Veltra knew this months in advance but didn’t bother to change our schedule. They informed us that we would be back by 5:00 but given no other information we assumed that the ferry ride took that long. They repeated that we had a half day tour. Big problem if you have nothing to do for hours on lanai and/or have reservations on Maui at 6:00.
That’s half of it. If you read Veltra’s description of the tour it sounds like you’ll tour the town, the garden of the gods, the shipwreck beach, and more. No way, as our guide pointed out when we told him what we expected based on Veltras description. It’s a big island and you can’t fit all those places in a half day tour
It was my first time to go to Lanai and my experience with the ferry boat was excellent. The captain and the crew did an excellent job.
Our family truly enjoyed this snorkeling trip! We've been on several and this was the best yet! The crew was super nice and took very good care of everyone on board. They fed us breakfast, a snack and lunch and it was all very good. The snorkeling at Molokini was wonderful and at the end of the trip they raised the sails and we sailed for a while. Such a pleasant experience - we'll do this one again if we come back to Maui!
We had a great time. The crew was professional and knowledgeable.
Mahalo for coming out with us Sarah! We hope to see you onboard in the future!
The ferry was just fine but once on Lana’i there is little if nothing to do. There is one restaurant “the blue ginger” with ok food but surely order takers. There is no bar to grab a much needed drink. Two laps around the park and time to get a shuttle ride back. Two couples = $240 for ferry ride $80 for shuttle up and down the mountain, $50 for lunch = $370 bucks and 7 hours I’ll never get back.
Took my wife here for our Honeymoon / her Birthday and it was one of our favorite experiences on the Islands. Food was great, nice drinks and great views. Highy recommend going on this Sunset Dinner Cruise!
It was a lot of fun and a great experience! I learned a lot about the ocean, the history, and the fishes were adorable.
had a great trip over to lanai everything went smoothly would recommend the boat and staff.
Aloha friends, we just completed our private guided tour of Lani, and we were very fortunate to have Joshua as our guide. This gentleman makes your visit an Amazing learning tour, and lets you know your are safe and welcomed on Lani.
The Island is privately owned and maintained, but is is an great tour experience in order really understand the Ancient Hawaiian culture and Survival skills. It is a beautiful place, and offers many photo opportunities.
Mahalo to Joshua!
Enjoyed grabbing a seat on the top deck. The team did a great job getting people on and off the boat. Ride was smooth as we could get given the high winds. Great experience overall.
Fast and easy, comfortable seating, and on time. Ferry is large enough so the ride is smooth. Available times are convenient for an all day visit, or for a couple hours of snorkeling. Parking at Lahaina Harbor was not easy due to construction but we found a parking lot several blocks away. Our first visit to Lana’i…very laid back and pretty.
The crew on board was friendly and efficient. Safety of the passengers was a priority. Booking the ferry was fast and easy, and a change of dates was easily done by phone. Thanks for the ferry ride!
This was a great experience. The crew of the boat was very attentive. The equipment was in excellent shape. Very nice breakfast and lunch. Unfortunately, we did not see any turtles, but this, of course, is not the fault of the tour operators. If you are looking to go to Molokini, I recommend this tour.
We had a late flight our last day in Maui so we wanted something fun and easy to do after we checked out of our condo. The MauI Ocean Center was a really fun time and educational to boot. There is a mix of outdoor and indoor spaces, an interactive show on feeding the sharks and rays, and plenty of exhibits that allow you up close views of the fish and turtles we saw while snorkeling.
The 3d video on whales was well done and the crowds were light enough to allow us good access to all the different viewing areas.
My family and I had the best experience. From the moment we stepped onto the boat, the crew was very attentive, friendly, and funny. They provided a great overview of the day activities and what we needed. They checked on us frequently and even provided a little history lesson on the nearby islands. We took about 1 hr boat ride over to Lanai. Once at Lanai, it was a 7 minute walk to the beach. The beach was amazing!!! We did some snorkeling, a short nature walk, and had some time to chill at the beach. The BBQ LUNCH was delicious! The boat ride back we enjoyed 2 cocktails and ice cream. The crew exceeded our expectations. I would definitely do this again! I felt like VIP. Book it! You won’t regret it
It was just a normal ferry ride from Maui to Lanai that took about a 45 minute ride each way. The boat was not full so it was nice that you had some room to not have to sit next to someone. Though there was a line I didn't worry because there were plenty of seats. If you prefer not to be under the sun then sit inside otherwise if you want to feel the breeze and get some sun then sit upstairs.
