At the end of March, we took a daytime departure. What we saw was a mother and baby whale swimming alongside us and spouting water. Since we participated during spring break, the morning and evening trips were fully booked. If you're expecting to see the dynamic whales that you often see in photos, it might be better to consider the timing and season.

We enjoyed a beautiful day out on the water! We didn't catch any fish but the crew was excellent and we had a great time!

We have been on a couple different Snorkeling trips, and I have to say that going on the Molokini Snorkeling trip with the Trilogy Team is the Very Best. Why??? The Dolphins that join the boat on the way to and from Molokini. The location that the Trilogy docks so you can see so many species of fish, eels and coral. The Fantastic Team and Captains, and the delicious food, drinks and ice cream sundae!!! It is well worth the cost. Try it once and you will understand how Awesome this trip is.

If you love snorkeling, a fun boat ride, delicious food - then you have to try this trip at least once so that you can experience the Very Best Trip to Lanai!!! Do it!! You will not regret it.

We went out after the storm and the sea was calm, the sky was grey. The staff members were professional and friendly and the boat is perfect with different levels for spotting whales. We saw lots of momma and baby whales for this late March and were happy with our trip! Mahalo to all!

Our family had the best, and most gracious experience on our whale tour! This company truly cares about the species and their environment and it shows. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. We can’t wait to come again!

Seating is first-come, first-served, but when a whale appears, everyone stands up and moves around, so it doesn't matter much. If you have a preference for sitting at the front of the second deck, I recommend getting there early. It can get direct sunlight in that area, so it's a good idea to have some protection against it. The back of the second deck has a roof, and the breeze there was pleasant and comfortable.

About ten minutes after departure, we quickly spotted a whale, and after that, we moved to different points and encountered whales multiple times. I highly recommend it. Soft drinks are free, while alcohol is available for a fee.

座席は早い者勝ちですがクジラが出るとみんな立ち上がって移動するのであまり関係ないです。2階デッキの先頭に座りたい、とかのこだわりがある場合は早めに行って乗るといいと思います。そのあたりは直射日光が当たるので対策はあったほうがいいと思います。2階後方デッキは屋根があり風も気持ちよく快適でした。
出航後10分ほどですぐにクジラが見られ、その後もポイントを移動しては遭遇、という感じで何度も見られました。おすすめです。
ソフトドリンクは無料でアルコールは有料という感じでした。

Brian was a very experienced guide, and his driving was excellent, allowing us to enjoy the tour with peace of mind. Thank you very much. When I mentioned that I was worried about needing a restroom, he told me to let him know early if I thought it was urgent, which relieved my worries!

Trolling was a bust but the day was filled with catching small fish and seeing whales up close

Had an amazing time out fishing with the crew, my husband caught a couple fish and we saw so many whales up close. The crew and captain are very engaging and quick to help out, they cleaned our fish and gave us pointers on how to cook it. Such a great experience, would definitely do it again! Thank you!

We could not have asked for a better experience in the water and on the boat. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. Would highly recommend booking with Trilogy to anyone going to Maui!

Clive was like an old friend you're visiting for one day. One who doesn't mind talking about everything about his life and home. Takes you by the local coffee hangout. Points out the axis deer herd on the plain. Waves to all the people he knows. Drops by the Garden of the gods. Shows off the shipwreck beach nearby while pointing out the turtles under your feet. Even harvests a coconut from the beach and takes you by his home to shuck so you can taste the real thing. Can't imagine a better morning.

All round positive experience, on the boat and lanai

It's an aquarium in Maui where you can only see small and medium fish. Despite the high admission fee, there are few exhibits that are particularly impressive or captivating. If the price were a bit lower and parking were free, I think it would be a good place to learn about Maui's fish.

We had a great time on our Trip to Lanai! Our guide, Clive, was awesome. He took us around and let us spend as much time at each place as we wanted. He has lived on Lanai a long time and was able to give us insights into life on the island. We visited Garden of the Gods and Shipwreck Beach among other sights. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide or tour. He dropped us off at the Blue Ginger restaurant in Lanai City at the end of the tour at our request, where we had an excellent lunch. Then we toured around Lanai City for the rest of the afternoon.

We went back to the port early in order to visit the beach near the port (Hulopo’e beach), which is a 10 minute stroll from the port. Very nice beach. In order to do that we called the shuttle company, Rabaca’s limousine service (808-559-0230) who was able to send a van early to pick us up. No guarantee they will be able to do that, but worth giving them a call if desired.

I saw whales many times. The meeting place was easy to find, which was great. I participated in the whale watching cruise on Maui in January, and I'm glad I went during the season when whales can be seen.

Tour organizers were excellent, great communications. Captain Larry and first mate Zach were great, excellent hosts and put us on a bunch of fish.

Started slow, trolling until we reached the bottom fishing sites . Caught a few fish, including small barracudas. Finally hit a spot where the actions was wild, at one time five fish on at the same time. Zach ably handled it all, including taking our pictures with the fish. If you wanted to bring them home, Zach had some good recipes.

On the way into the harbor, saw over a half dozen whales. Great experience!

We had such a great time! This was our first fishing charter and it didn’t disappoint! We not only got to fish but we also seen whales, dolphins, and a shark! It was the best part of our trip. The captain and the crew are AMAZING and entertaining. Totally give them 10/10!

We had 25 people on the boat and had plenty of room. The crew was great. We caught fish, snorkeled and saw so many whales. This boat comes highly recommended!

Josh was an excellent tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about the island and it’s history.

I didn’t think the under water tunnel to be the same as the advertised.

Great experience with all parties in my family. Make sure to bring a professional camera to capture the whale closely.

This was my first time on Maui, and since it was whale watching season, I prayed for a chance to see them and made a reservation. I was filled with anxiety due to the strong winds from the day before, and on the day itself, the weather was gloomy and the sea was rough.

After about 10 minutes of setting out, I spotted a whale's spout! From there, we encountered whales continuously! Since it's nature, you never know what to expect, but I think it's a tour that can be greatly enjoyed!

出向する事10分程度で鯨の潮吹きを発見！
そこからは引っ切り無しに鯨に遭遇！
自然相手なので何とも言えませんが、大いに楽しめるツアーだと思います！

I think it can be summed up in one word: amazing. This time, I experienced multiple activities on the Big Island, Maui, and Oahu, but without a doubt, the most fun was this tour.

- I chose a plan that allowed me to experience both snorkeling and snuba. There were about 20 participants on the boat, and around 80% of them opted for this plan. The water clarity around Molokini Island was fantastic, and it would be a shame to just stick to snorkeling.
- I believe anyone can do snuba as long as they listen carefully to the pre-activity instructions.
- We were able to see whales a few times while on the boat heading to Molokini Island.
- The guide was wonderful, and their attentiveness and ability to energize the group were top-notch. Many of the other crew members were also a lot of fun.
- Since the guide was in English, it might be challenging for those who aren't proficient in English.
- The rental for a wetsuit is $10. Additionally, snorkeling and snuba at Turtle Town require an extra $50 payment. Both payments were made in cash after getting off the boat (definitely worth it).

最高の一言に尽きると思います。今回私はハワイ島→マウイ島→オアフ島の3か所で複数アクティビティを体験しましたが、間違いなく1番楽しかったのがこのツアーでした。

・シュノーケルとスヌーバの両方を体験可能なプランにしました。船内には20人程度の参加者がいましたが、8割程度がこのプランでした。モロキニ島水域の透明度は素晴らしく、シュノーケリングで終わらせるのはもったいないと思います
・スヌーバは事前の説明さえちゃんと聞いていれば誰でも出来ると思います
・モロキニ島に向かう船上でクジラも数回見ることができました
・ガイドさんがまた素晴らしく、気の配り方や盛り上げ方も最高でした。他のクルーも楽しい方が多かったです
・英語ガイドさんなので、英語がからっきしの方は難しいかも知れません
・ウェットスーツ貸し出しは10USDです。また、タートルタウンでのシュノーケリング・スヌーバは追加で50USD払う必要があります。いずれも船を降りた後に現金で支払いでした（支払う価値ありです）

Really great day trip. Super convenient and comfortable ferry ride to Lanai. Our rental car canceled our Jeep at the last minute, claiming they did not have one, even though we paid in full months in advance, but a second company, “cheap jeeps “, came to our rescue, saying that they had to do the same thing for other people. Lots of fun for a day trip from Maui.

10/10 highly recommend this tour! Best bang for your buck. Great staff and accommodations! Loved all the food and beverages as well as getting to know the captain and his crew. The snorkel gear and wetsuits were top notch, too. We will definitely do this again next time we visit.
