Great way to start vacation

Memorable experience
Reviewed by: Peter, 2013/12/07My mother's one wish on visiting Maui was to have a lei greeting so I arranged it with Veltra without her knowing.
What a fantastic experience for her. The rep was waiting by baggage claim, easy to find with her name on a clipboard.
He could have just done his job and presented her with the lei but no, a wide smile, a hug, a warm welcome to the island. He then chatted with her for a few minutes and a final hug before giving us directions to the car rental counter.
Worth every penny, she will cherish this for the rest of her life.

Promise comes true

When we stepped of the plane on Maui Rebecca was greeted by a Veltra rep who presented her with a a beautiful Lei. My wife got one too. A great way to start her 2 week vacation! Just perfect.

A little disappointing

There also was not much to the greeting. I barely got photos before it was over. On a good note, they were prompt and easy to find.

Maui flowers

The leis were really fragrant and pretty and the greeter was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction for our rental car. Almost missed out

Our plane landed a little early so we missed our greeter. Finally caught up with him as he was getting in a car to go home! He didn't know we landed early. (I thought they were supposed to check on that?) The leis were beautiful and my brother and his wife were nicely surprised. I would do this again.

Reviewed by: Cactuspal, 2012/06/06The wife and I joked about having matching outfits like so many tourists do and so as a surprise I ordered the Honeymoon set of duplicate premium leis. We were met at baggage claim and recieved our leis. We wore them to a luau and were asked by many people where we got them and that they hadn't seen any that nice! We kept them damp and in a plastic bag in the hotel room refrigerator and got extra use out of them. Was the best deal from many lei greeting sites.

My wife and I don't move as fast as we once did; so my wife had no idea why she was being paged in the airport when we weren't at the baggage claim soon after landing. Imagine her surprise when the greeter put a lei around her neck. Now imagine my surprise when the greeter (I don't remember her name) helped with our luggage and took us to the rental car shuttle! I'm not saying that luggage wrestling will necessarily be part of your greeting, but that they will be very hospitable. I also opted for the snack basket and had that delivered to the hotel room as an additional surprise; my wife loved that also. A great start to a memorable vacation.

Lei Greeting

I told her no and would have loved to have been there to see her expression when she received hers. I received a call from them expressing their thanks and how lovely the leis were. They really enjoyed that little bit of aloha.
