What a way to spend a day !

Reviewed by: Magoo, 2013/11/25

So we took a catamaran instead of a jet boat. WHO CARES. A much more relaxing way to travel.
Of course, having the right crew can sure make a big difference. Especially if you have Yoshi (skipper), Mark (aquatic expert) and Koma (terrific, knowledgeable guide) who are all very professional and seasoned sea-salts (sailors, for you landlocked unfortunates).
Of course, there's the delicious Hawaii style breakfast and the barbeque lunch all served ON-BOARD.
Can anyone say 'where are the dolphins'? Are you kidding me. You know, pictures really are worth thousands of words. Check them out.
Not once, but twice during our adventure.
Naturally, there is snorkeling in Shark Fin (Hummm) Bay. You'll just have to take the tour to find out.
Then, for the landlubbers, there's a wonderful tour of the very scenic, quaint privately owned island (Does the name Ellison ring a bell?) of Lanai with no traffic lights and only one gas station. No traffic cameras either. All orchestrated by none other than 'Auntie Mo' who is truly quite a lady and guide.
Then, the grand finale on the return voyage by raising the sail. Take the tour and see the sail totally unfurled.
What a way to spend a day!

  • Anyone for relaxing over the water?

  • What a crew !

  • Look what we have here.

  • Words seem inadequate,

  • Snorkeling anyone?

  • Barbeque. Hawaii style.

  • Seconds anyone? You guessed it, a second group.

  • Looks pretty scenic to me. What do you think?

  • Me and 'Mo". Auntie Moana until you meet her.

  • Hoist the sail. You'll just have to take the tour to see the end result.

Fun Snorkel Trip

Reviewed by: Kary, 2013/07/21

Been on many snorkel trips but this one billed itself as going to exclusive spots that no one else could go. While they could not control the conditions, no wind and very choppy water, I think we should have gone somewhere more exclusive as billed. On the good side the crew were great and served us breakfast lunch and drinks on way back. To help make up for lack of wind the Captain stopped out about 15 minutes from Lahina and dove and swam in some of the most beautiful blue water I had ever seen. All in all and given the conditions it was a good day. And the tour of Lanai was also a real plus. Snorkeling not so much.

MMMM and MMM HMM!!!

So, I know one shouldn't really just focus on food, but MAN was the food in this tour good. The cinnamon rolls started out the day (on cloud 9!) and the lunch was definitely nothing short of fantastic as well.

I could have gone on the tour just for those two benefits alone! But food aside...the tour was everything I expected it would (and should) be....fun, unique, and for my first time on Lanai...I feel like me and my wife made a great decision with this pick. two very satisfied customers here.

The Best!

We really liked the friendliness and professionalism of the entire staff. CaptGabe and Jason and all the rest were a class act from the start to finish. Of all of our Excursions: Helicopter, road to Hana, Zip Line, this was the best, hands down. We will do this again!

This trip blew us away.

The staff was very friendly and polite. The service on the boat was well above what we expected. The boat was in excellent shape and clean. The trip was a lot of fun. We saw dolphins several times on the trip.

The island tour part of the trip was not exactly what we expected, and not quite sure it lived up to what you advertise, but none the less it was very fun. This was probably due mostly to our tour guide. She was a riot. Very funny. Also very informative as she had been on the island her whole life and her family line goes back 700 years on the island.

The snorkeling on the east side of the island was great.

Food served both on the boat and for lunch on the island were great. It was fun seeing the boat staff changing shirts to a more professional appearance while cooking and serving this meal.

I would recommend this adventure to anyone. It was the highlight of our week long stay on Maui. We did many things while there, but this was by far the best and

It was a lovely but pricey experience. The on line voucher process is a little difficult to negotiate.

This was a great way to begin our vacation in Hawaii. We relaxed, enjoyed being on the water, and had the added bonus of seeing a new place. The crew was great!

This was a really fun trip. The staff was excellent and went out of their way to make the trip memorable. The food was the best that we had been served compared to the other trips that we took on the island.
