Nice and comfortable helicopters. Pilot (Geoffrey) was awesome and had excellent choices in music selection to fit the scenery.

Must do activity for Kauai! The only way to see all of Kauai.

Inter-Island Trip Kauai to Oahu - Complete Pearl Harbor Day Tour with Airfare & Lunch Included

Took my 80 year old parents with us and was worried about too much walking. No worries with this trip. The tour provide enough in Pearl Harbor without over doing it. Great drive through the city with ample time to shop downtown. Our tour guide Ed was fabulous. Great sense of humor and very knowledgeable. Flights on Hawaiian Air were great and the tour rep who met us at check in was prompt and had all our boarding passes. Over all a great trip!

Smiths Family Garden Luau in Kauai - Authentic Hawaiian Dinner & Show

This is a MUST on the island!

The cruise was extremely relaxing and scenic. Seeing Fern Grotto was totally magical, it's unlike anything we'd ever seen before. The botanical gardens at Smith's are breathtaking, and the food at the Luau was to die for! We really enjoyed ourselves, and the show was the perfect ending to our Hawaiian Luau experience!

Kauai Movie Sightseeing Tour - Roberts Hawaii

Great tour for getting familiar with the island!

We had a great time on this tour - It was also nice that they picked us up from/dropped us off at our hotel. We saw a ton of sights, got some AMAZING scenery shots, learned a lot, and it familiarized us with the island. The tour guide was funny, knowledgeable and really nice. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

Best Luau Ever

This luau was beyond our expectations. We went for the gold seating (worth it). We had a table right up front. Upon entering we were able to learn a few hula moves with the poi balls and do some shopping with local vendors. Open bar! All you could drink all through dinner. Hula dancers before and during dinner. Group hula lesson - fun! Buffet food was good - dessert delicious. Show after dinner was spectacular!! We also went to the plantation a couple of hours before the luau started to enjoy a tour of the old plantation house (with shops) and did some run tasting. Definitely worth the money. I would highly recommend this event.

Luau Okay Train Ride a Waste of time.

I've been to a lot of luaus. This one was okay. Food was average but nothing special. Buffet was hot and line went quickly.
Show was very good although not what most people would expect for a Luau. The show was a portrayal of how the first people came to Kauai. Very good but would have liked to seen more traditional dances.
The train ride is a waste of $18 and 45 minutes. would not recommend taking it at all unless you like to see pigs and chickens.

Staff was efficient and friendly.

Probably would not go back to this luau again.

Inter-Island Trip Kauai to Oahu - Complete Pearl Harbor Day Tour with Airfare & Lunch Included

Overall trip itineray was well organized beginning with plane tickets to and from Kauai. Plane ride was ~20 minutes to Oahu. Tour supposed to begin at 9:30am didn't start ontime due to 2 people being late. That alone did not make us late for 30 minute film presenation at 10:30am at Pearl but did cut into free time to observe rest of memorial. The film presentation was excellent! Trip out to Memorial was all good and quite humbling. All was well organized and went fine. Next went to battleship Missouri and all went fine ( except it rained - no one's fault there )
Next we were out to Memorial Cemetary and that was very interesting as well. Last stop after leaving Cemetary was our free time in Waikiki. Traffic was horrendous and lost alot of freetime to walk around due to travel to downtown.
For my wife and I we felt the cost of trip was reasonable and very glad we took the trip. But the one ingrediant that made the whole day memorable and quite enjoyable was our guide - Mr Garfield. He was engaging, he was extremely knowledgeable not only about Pearl but about ......everything. Not taking away anything from other guides available but having Mr Garfield was a huge positive to making the day an absolute success. I recommend that if you are contemplating taking a trip that you request Mr Garfield. You will not be disappointed.

Smith’s Fern Grotto River Cruise with Live Hawaiian Music & Hula

Absolutely loved the cruise!

The cruise up the river on the barge was well narrated and very enjoyable. A great deal of history and general information about the area was shared with us, and various landmarks were pointed out.

Once we reached the Fern Grotto, we were entertained by the Smith family as they played the traditional wedding song, and we were given additional information about the Fern Grotto itself - including it's history and how it was made famous.

The return ride on the barge included the entertainers joining us and continuing the music and dancing. Visitors were encouraged to learn to hula and taught various moves.

As someone who tends to get very seasick, I had no issues at all on the cruise. Not even in the slightest.

The tour was great and the guide had a lot of knowledge about Kauai. I was pleased to see how much of the south shore was covered in the tour. I wish they would have gone to the two other lookout points on the canyon before turning back but otherwise the stops were great. The river cruise was a little disappointing and the fern grotto, even though beautiful, wasn't worth the time spent getting there. If I had to do it again, I would just do the tour.

Brisk but a great time

The day started off cooler than expected but the staff was extremely motivating and friendly so I'm glad we did it. A long bumpy ride to the entry site and then they put the tubes in the stream and it was a go from there. The water was brisk but once your butt was numb you hardly noticed anymore. Going through the tunnels was awesome and it felt like and adventure through the jungle. Nothing to worry about as the guides are with you the entire time. A nice healthy lunch in the sun to warm back up and then it was back to the shop. All in all, it was a lot of fun!

Deluxe Na Pali Experience Snorkel Tour, Breakfast & Lunch - Holo Holo Charters

Fun Day and Amazing Scenery

This trip was really good, there were a few little downfalls, but overall we really had a great time! The only negatives were that we had to snorkel as soon as we went out that morning because the captain had warned us it would be too rough by the afternoon, so it was a little chilly at 9 am and our snorkel spot didn't have much to see. When we got back on board, there was a really nice breakfast waiting for us and drinks flowing. We saw some sea turtles and whales and dolphins, and the captain always slowed down and let us get pics, etc. The ride out to the Na Pali Coast was awesome...(got really rough towards the end, and a few people were a little green), but when we stopped at the coast.....we all felt it was totally worth it for those views....amazing!!! We had lots of time for pics, the crew was awesome...full of interesting info and facts, and so quick to get you drinks or take your pic...they made it really great!! Lunch was also really good and we rode on the nets on the way back with the waves splashing up on us....really had a great day!!

Kipu Safari Adventure - Zipline, Hike, Kayak & Waterfall Swim with Lunch

Unfortunate weather put a damper on the trip

We were in Hawaii for our 25th anniversary and this was our first trip we had booked. My husband was really looking forward to the kayaking and I was really looking forward to the ziplining. Unfortunately because of the weather (nothing the staff could have done about it - they were really great people!), but we ended up kayaking down a mud river in pouring rain. Hiking through a muddy forest. Lunch was great (sun came out and beautiful spot), but we were super disappointed that there were only 2 ziplines and then the waterfall swim was more like a mud puddle splash. Unbelievably...the weather got worse and we hiked what seemed like 5 miles out of the wettest, muddiest conditions we've ever experienced and took an open boat ride back. Soaking wet, really cold with wind blowing on you from boat ride. Our whole group all tried to keep our spirits up, after all, we're in Hawaii, but you could tell that everyone just wanted it over by the end. An unfortunate shame...probably would have rated it a 4 if it had been a sunny day.

Mario was an excellent driver and tour guide. We got to see so much of Kauai on this day-long tour. He gave us many hints beyond the tour if what to see, etc. We too the tour the first day we arrived. The information we gained helped orient us on our first trip to the Garden Island. Wonderful sites and LOTS of stops, well spaced and paced. We enjoyed the 24 passenger van and all the participants too.

Beautiful ... and muddy

This was a great adventure and our guide was very good!
I do think one should be warned a little more of how muddy the trail to the falls is, but even with that it was beautiful and fun. I would recommend this to anyone younger and in decent shape...if you have bad knees or are excessively heavy you would be much more prone to injury on the hike.
Overall experience was fabulous!

So much fun! You enter and receive a shell lei and then take a ride on a tour through the beautiful botanical gardens. We watched as they dug up the traditional kalua pig steamed beneath large banana leaves. The buffet was delicious! don't hold back on the fried rice!! All you can drink mai tai's too! The botanical gardens were even more enchanting as dusk set in and you can walk across bridges to small islands on the grounds. Through dinner we were entertained by the Smith Family singing island music and hula dancing. Also sang happy birthday and the wedding song to all those celebrating honey moons and birthdays! Afterwards we all headed to the outdoor theater to watch many different traditional island dances and songs. It was beautiful, including a fire show! Highly recommend the entire experience. Well worth the cost. WE even paid for the $20 picture that they took for us when we entered with some of the crew members. We have it hanging on our wall!

The cruise was not too long, about two hours in total. The Wailua River is beautiful! The crew did a great version of the island "wedding song" while at the Fern Grotto. It was amazing to learn to hula from such talented dancers! Such a beautiful art!

Deluxe Na Pali Experience Snorkel Tour, Breakfast & Lunch - Holo Holo Charters

We went on the 5 hour Napali coast snorkel adventure. Within the first 30 minutes we saw 10 whales and 50 dolphins! It was amazing. Giant turtles as well. We had about 30 minutes of snorkel time and a nice little brunch. While snorkeling there was an opportunity to get pretty close to a giant sea turtle and views of about 20 ft deep clear ocean to beautiful corral reef and tropical colorful fish. That's where the fun stopped for me. The further up the napali coast the more brutal the waters became. The waves were bigger than the boat! I have to admit this was nothing like what I expected . I was scared despite knowing that the staff and captain were experienced and careful, the waves and wind were just nothing like I have ever experienced. I've been on the ocean to Catalina island and didn't get sea sick, but this trip was another story. I puked and cried and puked some more! Two hours or more or puking and I missed the best part of the whale show for us. It was hard to enjoy the amazing views of the napali coastline because I was so sick but it truly was amazing!!! Don't do this tour in the winter and I think it would be breathtaking. The crew was amazing an took great care of all of us who got sea sick. They gave us water and new tissues. One of the guides even gave me his rain jacket to wear as long as I didn't puke on it! No gaurantees there, but the crew were lifesavers! Amazing amazing crew! One of the stores near by said that holo holo was the best and I believe them. They really took care of me and made me feel safe and well taken care of despite the circumstances. They even had ginger candy and saltines on board to help out. Crew also offered handy tips for other amazing views on the island
