I had only been to yoga once in Japan, but I boldly decided I wanted to do yoga in Hawaii and joined this tour. I didn’t research much before signing up, but the lessons are not just with Japanese tourists; locals also join in. Of course, the instructor is Japanese, so there's no need to worry if you can't speak English.

As a beginner, I didn't understand much about the yoga content, but I took breaks when it got tough, haha. Doing yoga in the shade of the Banyan tree was simply amazing, and I found myself smiling halfway through.

The instructor said at the beginning, "Not having a mirror is a good thing," and I completely agreed. The final meditation felt like the relaxation after a sauna (I'm a sauna lover), and it was very pleasant. During meditation, the instructor gently pressed on my body, and I felt all my tension release. It was a moment when I truly felt glad to be in Hawaii.

At the end, the instructor said, "Please continue with yoga," and I want to do just that.

The yoga mat I borrowed was fluffy and very nice, so I quickly purchased the same one.

I would definitely like to participate again when I go to Hawaii. This tour is highly recommended!

★The location is next to the Barefoot Cafe, straight ahead from the Duke Kahanamoku statue on Kalakaua Avenue towards the zoo. I got lost, haha.

日本では1回しかヨガに行った事がありませんでしたが、無謀にもハワイでヨガをしたい！と思い立ちこのツアーに参加しました
あまり良く調べず申し込みをしたのですが、日本人のツアー客だけでは無く地元の方に混じってレッスンを行います
勿論先生は日本人ですので、英語が出来なくても安心です

ヨガの内容は初心者なのであまり分かりませんが、キツい所は休んでいましたw
バンヤンツリーの木陰で行うヨガは、とにかくサイコーで途中からニコニコしてしまいました

先生が最初に「鏡が無いのが良いんですよ」とおっしゃって、まさしくその通りだと思いました
最後の瞑想がサウナのととのいのようで(サウナーです)とっても気持ち良かったです
先生が瞑想時私の体を押して下さり、フッと力が抜けました
ハワイに来て良かったなぁと思えた瞬間でした

最後に先生が「ヨガ続けて下さいね」と仰って下さったので、そうしたいと思います

お借りしたヨガマットがフワフワでとても良かったので同じ物を早速購入しました

また、ハワイに行かれたら是非参加したいです

My family and I had such an amazing time at this Luau. Felt so welcomed, the staff was so friendly and organized. Really appreciated the digital photos included and the veggie dish I received was so yummy!

The entire boat crew made this an experience to remover for ever. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend booking an evening tour with them, job well done!

It may have been a coincidence, but the Japanese were only among themselves. I was a bit anxious since there were no explanations in Japanese, but I was able to enjoy dolphins and snorkeling in a world without Japanese, which was different from Waikiki, without any major issues.

日本語の説明は一切ないので不安もありましたが、大きく困ることもなく、ワイキキとは違う日本語のない世界でイルカやシュノーケルを楽しめました。

I participated in a lesson with Japanese travelers and locals living in Hawaii, where Japanese and English were comfortably mixed. It was a fun experience filled with the essence of Hawaii, and I was able to practice authentic yoga. The final shavasana was incredibly pleasant! I definitely recommend it to anyone who practices yoga.

旅行で来た日本人とハワイ在住の方、ローカルの方が参加されてて、日本語と英語が心地よくミックスしたレッスンでハワイ感が満載でとっても楽しく、且つ本格的なヨガを体験できました。

We enjoyed every minute of the three event. The musicians, dancers, actors, MC, catering and art vendors were first rate. My parents and kids enjoyed the event. We would come again!

Good for all ages, our family was laughing and it was a good way to get everyone together :)

The entertainment was superb!!! The food, however, was cold, undercooked, and no flavor. I do understand the institutional food prep, but it could have been better.

This was a brilliant adventure, from the moment you get in line to enter and get your lei, to when you find yourself on stage dancing the Hula. The activities are great with a number of free cultural classes in the “kitchen” and around the grounds. Great photo opportunities as the sun sets, with great shots of the ocean, the city if Honolulu, and the mountain ranges.

I would recommend this for any other couple, or family regardless if there are or are not children.

The length of time, open 2 hour bar , seating and staff were exceptional as well.
This was not my first luau but it was for my boyfriend and he was impressed with it!

I had an awesome time. All staff were very attentive and kind. Loved the entertainment. Food was amazing.

The check-in lines were confusing. Not enough clarity on which line was for preferred attendees and which was for general. Stood in the wrong line for 20 minutes before realizing we were in the wrong one. Check-in was about 20 mins late, which added to the frustration. The lawn at the Sheraton was not in great shape which was surprising compared to other times we've visited the property. Drinks were okay but the food and entertainment were very good. Overall, a good time for our families but was hoping for a bit more for the price.

I have been practicing hot yoga for a year and a half now. I was starting to get interested in outdoor yoga sessions like beach yoga and temple yoga organized by the studio. At that time, I had my very first trip to Hawaii. Due to the weak yen, all activities were quite expensive... (sweat)

In the midst of that, I found this lesson. The location is Kapiolani Park, so if you're staying in a hotel in downtown Honolulu, you can easily reach the lesson venue with a pleasant morning walk. There are ABC Stores, Starbucks, and cafes nearby, so you won't have any trouble satisfying your thirst or hunger before or after the lesson. The park also has large restrooms, which was reassuring.

Instructor Tomoko is bright, energetic, and kind. The lesson was very enjoyable, involving breath control and massages using aromatherapy. My daughter, who had no prior yoga experience, was able to keep up, and even just stretching without pushing herself was enough to fully enjoy the experience. The refreshing Hawaiian breeze, the sunlight filtering through the large trees, the little birds fluttering nearby, and the smell of grass—all of these elements created a vivid image that felt like it was right around me.

Tomoko took photos during the lesson and sent them to me via LINE on the spot. Looking back at them now, I think they have become wonderful memories.

ホットヨガを始めて１年半になります。スタジオが開催するビーチヨガや寺ヨガなどそろそろスタジオ外でのヨガにも興味をもっていました。そんな折人生初！のハワイ旅行。円安の影響でどのアクティビティもすごく高い・・（汗）
そんな中見つけたのがこちらのレッスンです。場所はカピオラニ公園ですので
ホノルル中心のホテルからでしたら朝の気持ち良い散歩とともにレッスン会場までたどり着けます。ABCストア、スタバ、カフェとレッスン前後に喉や小腹を満たすのには困りません。公園の大きなトイレもあり安心でした。
インストラクターのトモコ先生は明るく、元気で親切です。
レッスンは呼吸を整えたりアロマを使ってマッサージしたりとても気持ちよかったです。同行した娘はヨガ未経験でしたがついていけましたし、無理せずストレッチしているだけでも十分堪能できます。ハワイの爽やかな風、大きな木からこぼれ落ちる朝日の光。近くで羽ばたいている小鳥たち。草の匂い。スタジオで誘導されているイメージがそのままリアルに私の周りにありました。
レッスン中の写真をトモコ先生が撮ってくださりその場でLINEからいただきました。今見返してもとても良い思い出になったと思います。

The venue was awesome, the traditional showcases were great, and it was a sweet cultural journey through islands of Polynesia.

We boarded with 12 people. The yacht was larger and more beautiful than I expected, and we were able to spend a blissful time (^○^) Masa, who speaks Japanese, and the kind captain Austin prepared plenty of delicious appetizers for us, and I definitely want to use this service again! It was my first time seeing fireworks up so close!!!! Lying on the net at the front of the yacht while feeling the wind was just the best!!!! I already want to go again soon (^○^)

It was an outstanding show, good food, and the hosts were excellent with a good sense of humor. The best Luau we've ever seen.

The luau was entertaining and informative. The food was good too. Staff did a good job of moving 500 people through the lines. Only two watered down drink tickets. The free choices were only offered at one stand. For 500 people. Not enough.
I enjoyed the pictures on arrival. I think more opportunities for pictures would have been good.

Awesome Experience, the crew was awesome friendly made the whole experience great, and the firework display over the water was a must see I will do this again on my next visit. Thank You.

In late May, at a perfect temperature of 9:00 AM, yoga began under a clear blue sky and sea, listening to the chirping of birds in a quiet shady spot. I hadn't done much yoga before, but thanks to the friendly instructor Tomoko's easy-to-follow guidance, I was able to smoothly and enjoyably experience yoga. Looking up at the bright blue sky and feeling the pleasant breeze, I spent the most relaxing time. The aroma I received at the beginning and the sound of the final bell added to the relaxation, making it the best memory of this trip! While sightseeing and shopping are great when visiting Hawaii, I think beach yoga will become a must-do in the future. The location was easy to find, and the timing was just right, so if you come to Hawaii, you absolutely should experience yoga! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

真っ青な空と海、静かな木陰の下で
鳥のさえずりを聴きながらヨガが始まりました。
ヨガはあまりやった事なかったですが、
すごくフレンドリーなトモコインストラクターの
わかりやすいガイドのお陰でスムーズに
楽しくヨガを体験する事ができました。
真っ青の空を見上げ、心地良い風をうけて、
最高にリラックスした時を過ごせました。
最初にもらったアロマや最後の鐘の音など
よりリラックスさせてくれる仕掛け？もあり
今回の旅の1番の思い出になりました！
ハワイに来たら観光やショッピングもいいけど、
海辺のヨガが今後のマストになると思います。
場所も分かりやすく、時間もちょうどいいので、
ハワイに来たら絶対ヨガ体験をするべきです！

I recently had the pleasure of attending the Maui Nui Sunset Luau at the stunning Sheraton Maui, and it truly exceeded all expectations! As we arrived, we were warmly greeted with traditional lei necklaces, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. The venue has great ocean views, it's spacious and all guests had ample room to enjoy the experience comfortably.

The food was a standout at the event, with a delicious spread of local-style dishes in the buffet. The menu had something for everyone and made a lasting impression with its flavors and presentation.

The entertainment was simply amazing, as talented dancers wowed the audience with their graceful moves and colorful outfits. The best part of the night was definitely the fire knife dance, an absolutely stunning performance that had everyone totally amazed. The combination of cultural storytelling and dynamic performances created a lively and engaging atmosphere throughout the luau.

Overall, the Maui Nui Sunset Luau at Sheraton Maui was a fantastic experience that combined great food, entertaining performances, and a stunning atmosphere seamlessly. I totally suggest checking out this luau if you want to dive into Hawaii's awesome culture and hospitality. It's a night of pure fun and entertainment!

After experiencing many luau all across Hawaii, I can happily say that Mauka Warriors is one of the best I have had the pleasure of attending~

Pick-up from Waikiki was hella convenient, and even though we hit traffic on the way to the luau, the guide was great about keeping everyone informed and telling us interesting facts, history, and stories about Hawaii.

Once we arrived, we were greeted with a fresh flower lei (get the Mo'i Experience y'all!) and were escorted to the front row!!! WHOOO! With so many activities to do, and being able to order drinks from our phone made it a great start to the whole evening.

The food at Mauka Luau was pretty tasty too, and I loved that they had both poi and lomi lomi salmon, but their fish was the highlight of the menu for both me and my friend.

But the main event was def the Mauka Warriors Luau show, and omg...it was amazing. The fire knife dancing was some of the best I have seen in all of Hawaii, and even the kids were literally fire on stage, but I really loved that they incorporated Hawaiian and Polynesian warrior culture and history into a story rather than just a bunch of random songs and dances.

10/10 would definitely recommend!

Charismatic host and thrilling performances by men, women and children representing the different island nations/territories. Food is buffet style with many tasty options. Alcohol free options were also available and enjoyable.

The trip was great, service, experience and activities were all well worth it.
The boat trip, snorkeling, dinner, drinks and a dolphin sighting for one price was amazing.

The yoga lesson with a view of the ocean was amazing.
By stretching my body in nature, I was able to learn more about my own body.
The instructor was also very good at teaching, and it was a great experience.

I participated in a tour during my trip to Hawaii, and they provided a yoga mat, so I could join hands-free.
I would love to do it again when I visit Hawaii next time.

This was an awesome way to see, hear and taste the Hawaiian culture! The activities were informative, enjoyable and engaging!
Great activity for a family, group of friends or even a classroom!

I was a bit worried because there were no reviews, but it was such an amazing time that I wondered why there were no reviews! I went in March with 10 colleagues, and the two staff members were fantastic! The party was great, and we even saw whales. We had a truly memorable time!

In March, the evenings and nights in Hawaii can still be a bit chilly, especially when you're out at sea where the wind can be strong. You can swim (there's even a shower!), so I recommend wearing a long-sleeve shirt over your swimsuit that you don't mind getting wet!

We brought our own food and drinks, but everything was provided—plates, cutlery, cups, ice, you name it! They even put our snacks in a basket, making it super cute! One of the staff members spoke a little Japanese too! ❤️

特に海に出ると風邪も強かったです。
泳ぐこともできる※シャワーまでついてます！ので、水着の上に濡れてもいいような長袖を着るのがおすすめです！

ご飯と飲み物は持ち込みましたが、お皿もカトラリーもカップも氷もなにもかも揃っていましたし、
お菓子はカゴにいれてくれてとっても可愛くしてくださいました！
スタッフさん1名は少し日本語を話してくれます❤︎
