From the beginning to the end, everything was absolutely beautiful and fun, but seeing my grandaughter and the sparkles in her eyes left me speechless.

I am a complete beginner at yoga, but I participated with a friend. We joined a class attended by locals. I heard that this class has been running for over five years. Teacher Tomoko and everyone else were friendly, and with diverse nationalities, ages, and levels of yoga experience, I felt comfortable participating at my own pace. It was the best experience, as I felt one with the sound of the waves, the birds, the pleasant breeze, and the blue sky, all while being shaded from the strong sunlight by the trees by the sea.

We took the HiBus Diamond Head line and got off at the Honolulu Zoo; it was easy to find the location as soon as we reached the beach. I wanted to join again during our stay, but our schedules didn’t match. I definitely want to come back the next time I'm in Waikiki. Thank you, Teacher Tomoko!

ヨガは全くの初心者ですが同行の友人とふたりで参加。現地在住の方々が通うレッスンにjoinする形です。此処では5年以上続いているクラスとのこと。トモコ先生はじめ皆さんフレンドリーで国籍も年齢もヨガの経験も多様なので自分のペースで安心して参加できました。海辺の木陰で強い日差しに晒されることもなく、波の音、鳥の声、気持ち良い風、青い空とひとつになれたような最高の経験でした。
私たちはHiBusのダイヤモンドヘッドラインでホノルル動物園で下車、海辺へ抜けたらすぐにわかる場所でした。滞在中におかわり参加したかったですが予定が合わず、またワイキキに来たら必ず戻って来たいです。トモコ先生ありがとうございました！

Firstly, my stepmother, my sister, and I had SO MUCH FUN! We knew going into this that based on the price and other photos we saw of the tails that these would not come out looking like "realistic" mermaids.

They had a variety of stretchy fabric tails to choose from in various sizes and some to fit larger body types. You can tell the tails have been through the ringer a bit with stains and small tears but none of that showed in the pics.

Mickey was amazing! He was patient, funny, kind, and had many poses in mind. He used a gopro for all of the shots, taking mini videos for you to pull pictures from). The lagoon we shot at was a bit murky so couldn't really get that many underwater pictures.

We definitely got some good shots but I (a professional photographer including boudoir) had to give a lot of direction to him and to my family. I was also able to save/make a lot of the shots pretty due to photoshop. Otherwise there would have been lots of pics of us from overhead like my hair flip photos which should have been taken from much lower/straight on to get the full effect of the hair flip.

In no way was that Mickey's fault, though. I think the company mainly has men under their employment and mostly focuses on scuba diving so I can imagine none of the guys are vying to do the mermaid session and therefore make the youngest, newest employee do it. It's management/the owners that should consider having whoever does the mermaid experience have some photography training even if a cheap, online one. Mickey did AMAZING with the skillet he had and was an absolute pleasure to work with and be around.

At the end of the day, for the price, and the experience we'd definitely would recommend. Just know you're not walking away looking like a real mermaid with breathtaking photos. Lol.

To begin- we loved that they offered complimentary pictures at entry, they sent them directly to our phone for FREE, other tourist areas always charge for pictures.
The food buffet had a variety of options from chicken, fish, and pork. The food was tasty. Our tickets came with a drink ticket and we enjoyed a mai tai.
The performances were we'll coordinate, we loved the fire show, the hula dances, everything! I would definitely come back for another show. Employees were helpful, informative, and very kind!

The snorkeling time was relatively long, and I was able to see sea turtles up close, which was very enjoyable. However, it was a bit cold in the evening. The sunset from the cruise was also very beautiful, making it a wonderful memory. The staff took photos for us, and since there is a sale at the end, I think it's a good idea to bring a little cash or a credit card if you want to purchase them.

シュノーケルの時間も比較的長く、ウミガメも間近で見ることができてとても楽しかったです。ただ、夕方のため少し寒かったです。
クルーズからのサンセットもとてもきれいに見ることができ最高の思い出になりました。
スタッフの方が写真を撮ってくださり、最後に販売があるので欲しい方はクレジットカードや現金を少し持っていった方がいいと思います。

Fantastic show and we really enjoyed it even my kids. However pick up time should have been earlier as stated. Due to traffic we were just in time for the show and disappointed we couldn’t tried the activities provided. However it was a great experience and show. My kids enjoyed the show. Variety of foods from buffet was good however when you are the last table, whatever are left that’s it. Disappointed as the stir fry noodles was finished and when asked if there are more noodles, no answer was provided. Do hope next time you can cater for all the guest. Please advise all guest to put mosquito repellent as we were bitten by mosquitoes on our legs. Great and beautiful pictures taken by the staff and it’s digital, sent link to your phone and pictures can be downloaded for free. Thank you. Memories will treasure. Great performances and talented staff. Love the musics and dances. Highly recommended. Mahalo.

My Father and Mother-in-law asked me to plan their vow renewal ceremony while we were in Honolulu. They wanted to renew their vows on the beach, but with my father having Parkinson's, I knew it would be a difficult trek through the sand. While searching, I came across the Star of Honolulu. They had everything we were looking for. My Father could have use of his mobility scooter, as the boat had an elevator. The dinner and entertainment were good, and the ceremony performed by the captain was intimate. The captain made sure that my father was comfortable and safe during the ceremony and paid special attention to both of my parents. It was a special time and one we won't forget.

It was an activity that included everything you can do in Hawaii. Snorkeling from the boat was a great experience. The dinner was all-you-can-eat and drink, and it was a good value!

I enjoyed the special dinner cruise on the Star of Honolulu for the last night of my trip to Hawaii, which was on Independence Day. The luxurious dinner and the entertaining show by the fun crew on board were excellent. The sunset was also very beautiful, and it was truly moving.

The vow renewal package is 100% worth it!! What an amazing experience! Captain Mike renewed our vows on the deck. The staff was amazing enough to not just capture photos but also a video which is so memorable! The food was delicious.... a 5 course meal served to us. Way to much for me to eat but totally fresh and delicious food! The staff was amazingly nice and helpful. The Polynesian show was super cool! Overall absolutely worth every cent!!!! A must do!

The experience was absolutely very worth it with a big crew. We had a wonderful time with Jason & Courtney very very lovely host / captain. The boat was beautifully finished. Unforgettable experience 3-4 hours is absolutely perfect. We saw dolphins, sea turtles & fishes.

We boarded the Star of Honolulu for a vow renewal to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Forty years ago, we also participated in a dinner cruise for our honeymoon. With the captain present, we renewed our vows against the backdrop of Diamond Head! We toasted together! The captain said, "Please come back in another 20 years!" The guide spoke in Japanese and took many photos for us. The weather was great, we saw a rainbow, and the sunset was incredibly beautiful. The complimentary champagne and food were delicious, and everyone on board was lively, making it a very enjoyable time.

結婚４０周年でバウ・リニューアルでスターオブホノルル号に乗船。
４０年前にも新婚旅行でディナークルーズに参加しました。船長さんの立ち会いでダイヤモンドヘッドを背景にバウ・リニューアル！三人で乾杯！船長さんから「次２０年後に又来てください」のお言葉！案内の方が日本語でお話ししてくれ、写真もたくさん撮っていただきました。天気もよく、虹も見え、夕陽も大変綺麗でした。サービスのシャンパン、料理もおいしく、船内は皆さんノリノリでとても楽しいひとときでした。

We participated in our honeymoon trip!

We were the only Japanese people, but there was a Japanese staff member who guided us entirely in Japanese.

It was my husband's first time snorkeling, and he enjoyed it thanks to the thorough explanations provided.

On the boat, everyone was free to relax, and we could drink soft drinks freely. The lunch was also very delicious!

We got to see dolphins and turtles, making it a very satisfying tour! We definitely want to participate again!

新婚旅行で参加しました！

日本人は私たちだけでしたが、日本人のスタッフの方がおり全て日本語で案内して頂きました

旦那がシュノーケリング初めてでしたが、丁寧に説明していただき、楽しんでいました♪

船の上ではみんな自由に過ごしていて、ソフトドリンクも自由に飲め、お昼ご飯もとてもおいしかったです！

イルカと亀にも会えて大満足のツアーでした！
またぜひ参加したいと思います♪

The location is great, and it was just a short walk from the Sheraton. It's a bit hard to find since it's located at the back of the building. After taking the 90-minute course, my range of motion improved, and I was able to walk very lightly.

立地が良く、シェラトンから歩いてすぐ行けました。
建物無いの奥なので、すこし分かりにくさはあります。
90分コースを受けた後は体の可動域が広がり、とても軽やかに歩けました。

I was on vacation with my family and went booked the Maui Nui Sunset Luau and was not disappointed! The location was beautiful, amazing ocean view at sunset. All of the food on the buffet was amazing, with a wonderful variety. The show was great as well, told of such an amazing culture of the island. I would recommend this luau!

I participated in this tour in early February 2023. One of the things I wanted to do in winter Hawaii was whale watching, and since my hotel was Aulani, I joined this tour departing from Ko Olina Marina.

It takes about 25 minutes to walk from Aulani to Ko Olina Marina, and about 5 minutes by car. The tour included four alcoholic drinks, so I walked there instead of driving, but I was a bit tired on the way back (^_^;).

Upon arriving at the marina, the check-in area was easy to find. I signed in on the list, received a wristband, used the restroom, and boarded the boat. There were about 15 to 20 guests at that time, but we were the only Japanese group. All the explanations were in English, but a young Japanese male staff member came later to explain in Japanese, and he also supported us during snorkeling, which was very helpful!

After the boat headed out to sea, we encountered a mother and baby whale! I was incredibly excited to see the whales spouting water and their tails coming up to the surface with my own eyes! Since it was an evening tour, we didn’t see any dolphins, but I was very satisfied to have encountered the whales.

After that, we went to the snorkeling point and enjoyed snorkeling. During this time, we encountered a sea turtle. I was moved to see it coming up from the bottom of the ocean for air, floating on the surface, and then returning to the ocean floor, all from a very close distance! The water was a bit cold during this season, but I was glad I participated in snorkeling! After snorkeling, it was chilly, so I changed from my swimsuit to regular clothes in the boat's restroom. The restroom was a bit spacious with shelves, making it suitable for changing. There were two restrooms, one on each side at the back.

After snorkeling, we enjoyed dinner and the sunset. The dinner was served on a single plate, but it was piled high, so I was full! The taste was also delicious. The sunset from the boat was absolutely beautiful.

I think this is a highly recommended activity for those staying around Ko Olina!

2023年2月上旬に参加しました。
冬のハワイでやりたい事がホェールウォッチングで、宿泊ホテルがアウラニだったのでコオリナマリーナから出発するこちらのツアーに参加しました。

アウラニからコオリナマリーナまでは歩いて片道25分くらい、車だと片道5分くらいです。ツアーにアルコールが4本かな？含まれていたので車は使わずに歩いて行きましたが帰りはちょっと疲れました(^_^;)

マリーナに到着して受付の場所はわかりやすかったです。名簿に記帳してリストバンドを付けて、御手洗を済ませてボートに乗り込みます。
この時は15名？20名？？くらいお客さんが居ましたが日本人は私たちのグループだけでした。
色々な説明は全て英語でしたが、若い日本人男性のスタッフさんがあとから日本語で説明しに来てくださって、その後のシュノーケルもサポートしてもらえたのでとても助かりました！

ボートが沖に出て少しするとクジラの親子に遭遇出来ました！肉眼でクジラの潮吹きや海面の上に出てきた尾びれを見られてものすごく興奮しました！夕方のツアーなので時間的にイルカは見られませんでしたがクジラに遭遇出来たので大満足でした。

その後シュノーケルポイントに行って、シュノーケルを楽しみました。この時に海亀に遭遇出来ました。海の底から息をにし浮上してくる様子や海面をぷかぷかしている様子、また海の底に帰って行く様子を近づくことが出来るギリギリの距離で見られて感動しました！
この時期の海はちょっと寒かったですが、でもシュノーケル参加して良かったです！
シュノーケルの後は寒かったのでボートのおトイレで水着から私服に着替えました。おトイレは少しだけ広めで棚とかがあったので着替えスペースも兼ねている感じでした。おトイレは後方左右に1つずつ計2つありました。

シュノーケルが終わるとディナーとサンセットを楽しみます。ディナーはワンプレートですがモリモリに盛ってもらえたのでお腹いっぱいになりました！味も美味しかったです。ボートからのサンセットもすごく素敵でした。

コオリナ周辺で宿泊されている方にはとてもおすすめのアクティビティだと思います～。

Overall great experience with a good meal, friendly crew, and add-ons to capture the adventure.

I would do it again. But I'd some time of approved boat shoe or water shoe. Not a fan of barefoot in public areas.

The free drink service was incredibly slow, and since I ordered a paid drink, it was relatively quick for me. However, the family sitting with us had to wait for their free drinks, which made me feel a bit guilty and uncomfortable. At the very least, they could have offered some water... that kind of consideration is not common overseas.

I was fine with not having a window seat. Even if you have a window seat, there’s an aisle, and there were people standing there to look at the view, so it’s not worth paying extra to secure one.

Despite having so many people, there was only one shared restroom, and it was extremely dirty.

無料のドリンクの提供がとにかく遅くて、私は有料で頼んだから比較的には早かったが、一緒の席のご家族は無料で遅かったため、なんだか申し訳なくて飲みづらかった。
だったらせめてお水出してあげるという配慮は、、、海外にはないだろう。。

席は窓側でなくて全然よかったです。
窓側って言っても通路があり、そこに立って景色を見てる方もいたため、お金出して確保するほどではない。

あんだけの人数入れてるのに、共同トイレたった1つしかなく、めちゃくちゃ汚かった。

Family, friends, the service, DJ, and everyone’s energy, a great time was had. The fireworks were beautiful. Defiantly, a must for a great evening out with those above or below drinking age. (The group checks IDs and gives out wrist bands)

The Makani Catamaran provided a great view of the fireworks off Waikiki on New Year's Eve. It is a beautiful boat and the tour worked smoothly. I highly recommend it. We will be sure to book it again.

Although I wasn't expecting much from the meal, the food was served warm, and the lobster was thick and delicious. The table was indeed a bit cramped, but it was manageable. The show was also very enjoyable and great. The countdown fireworks were a spectacular sight. The taxi and Uber rides back were surprisingly expensive, costing $60 to Waikiki, so I recommend selecting a shuttle plan.

他の投稿で食事は期待していなかったものの、温かいものが提供され、ロブスターも肉厚で美味しかった。確かにテーブルの狭さはありますが、仕方ない範囲。ショーもとても楽しく良かったです。カウントダウン花火も絶景でした。帰りのタクシーやウバーはビックリするほど高く、ワイキキまで60ドル、送迎プランをセレクトすることをオススメします。

what an awesome way to ring in the new year. I am so happy we decided to do this as everyone was so friendly and being on a boat in Hawaii, whats better!

You can watch the fireworks right next to the boat at Waikiki Beach. The food and show were also great. It seems to get fully booked quickly due to its popularity.

The reception was right on time, and while we were waiting, we got to take a photo with Santa.
There were a lot of people, and our departure was delayed by 15 minutes!
We rode on the upper deck of a double-decker bus, having a great time,
enjoying the pleasant breeze while watching the amazing illuminations, and there was even a pumpkin carriage, which felt very foreign and exciting.
The inside of the city hall was beautiful with many trees on display.
However, I wasn't sure where to find the bus for the return trip, so I just lined up where there seemed to be people, and it showed up.
It was the best experience of Christmas in Hawaii.

受付は、きっちり時間通りで、待ってる間にサンタさんと写真撮らせていただきました。
人数が多く出発時間が15分遅れてました！
二階建てバスの二階に乗り、盛り上がって、
心地よい風が吹く中、最高のイルミネーションを観て、カボチャの馬車もいて、外国って感じで、
興奮しました。
市役所の中も沢山のツリーを観て綺麗でした。
ただ帰りのバスの場所がわからず何となく人のあいる方で並んでいたら来ました。
ハワイのクリスマスの体験ができて最高でした。
